Ch. 11: Gishiki no nochi no betsu no asa part 1
Elsewhere, the scene shifts at the streets where a passing police car is cruising around, checking the area to make sure that no criminal activities are being perpetrated, and two persons are looking at both sides of the streets, and so far everything looks peaceful and orderly.
There they noted that activities at the streets are generally peaceful, as if it was business as usual, where you can see and hear that people are walking and talking about the latest trends and the like, which shows that no one is aware of the recent events, like the PIXELATED scenes at certain crime scenes.

"I wish I have a good day..."

The two persons inside the police car sighed as things are quiet and they prefer it this way, yet several minutes ago they recalled an activity that they did earlier, in which it was an investigation on their part, where they are still perplexed at what they saw at the site, in which the area they went earlier was an alley where several PIXELATED remains are found, baffling the two investigators, as they are unaware that another Darwin's Game battle took place earlier.
The two persons inside the police car are revealed to be the Tsukauchi siblings, consisting of Naomasa and Makoto, and the two are still in a state of bafflement at what they saw earlier, as all they saw is a PIXELATED remains and what appeared to be a PIXELATED bloodstains, which are similar to the ones they saw in pictures from other news sites.
"This is getting more and more bizarre, Naomasa…"
"You got me…"
"I feel like we're become a part of a sci-fi movie…what we saw previously…it just doesn't make any sense…"
"I agree…more and more of those…well whatever they are…are showing up in such a rate…"
"These…PIXELATED things…I'm not sure how to describe it…"
"Its happening everywhere. I don't know what's causing it…but I feel that there is something strange about those…"
"Yeah. Seeing that there are DRIED bloodstains, there should be a corpse nearby. But instead of dead bodies we find THESE instead…"
"Yeah…"
But then Naomasa's cellphone rang and he answered it, and he is visibly annoyed and after three minutes he tells Makoto that they are heading east, saying that they are being summoned to a crime scene, and Makoto asked if it is another sighting of a PIXELATED remains, which Naomasa said that he hope that it isn't, as he feels like he is about to get stressed at the bizarre situations he gets embroiled into.
"Brace yourself, Makoto. We're getting another house call…"
"Another murder case…?"
"Looks like it…"
"Do you think that there would be another PIXELATED…"
"I hope not."
"Me too. I don't want another COLD CASE..."
"Whatever. Let's get going."
"Right."

Meanwhile, the scene shows that certain individuals are seen at some specific, separate places, where they are walking and loitering around, ignoring other people they pass by, though they passed by a merchants' stalls as the merchants attempted to entice the individuals to try and buy their products.
"Hello...please by our items..."
"They are cheaper..."
"...they are in good working condition..."
"You can try them if you like..."
"I promise you will like them..."
"I promise you will get your money's worth..."
"Here are the items on our display..."
"Pick the one you like..."
The unidentified individuals ignored them as they continue with their trek, not interested in anything else and each one of them appeared to be awaiting something, As their hands appeared to be checking their pockets, as if they are awaiting something to arrive, after a while, their smartphones beeped and vibrated, which the said individuals checked it for a message, which revealed that is a notification for the upcoming event for the Darwin's Game's first major event, a Treasure Hunt event in Shibuya that has been sent only to selected players.
The unidentified individuals nodded and are now looking forward to participate in the upcoming event, feeling confident that each of them are going to win and gain a prize and/or bonuses.
"Nice."
"Another event…"
"This should be interesting…"
"Now's my chance to try out my Sigil…"

The scene shifts at a condominium complex, where the next scene shifts at the 15th floor and zoomed inside a unit where you can see that Camie made breakfast and there she and Midoriya are dining, and there she tells him about what to expect in the upcoming event, saying that by now the Darwin's Game app have probably enticed a select number of individuals who may have gotten enticed by what the app offered, thus it is possible that they are going to face a lot of competition.
"…and that's that…"
"…"
"I'm pretty sure that there are going to be some serious competition coming…"
"Really…?"
"Yup."
"Then…it's going to be…"
"Yup. Expect some harsh battles coming ahead."

Midoriya nodded and finds himself facing another potential difficult battle, and he is forced to recall what happened before, which he is forced to fight Stain which also costs the life of Yu, who risked his life to help Midoriya survive, and now he finds himself facing the possibility of getting into another life or death situation, though this time he has found an ally in Camie.
Camie then touched his hand and tells him that he shouldn't be discouraged as she reminded him that she has a strong sigil and that now that he has AWAKENED his sigil, they have a strong chance to win the upcoming event, hence Midoriya shouldn't worry too much, which he reluctantly nodded after seeing how confident Camie is.
"Midoriya. You shouldn't chicken out."
"Uh…"
"Your Sigil is awakened, so now you got a chance to even the playing field."
"Well…"
"And you got me."
"Uh…yeah."
"Plus we made a partnership, so got a fighting chance to win. So cheer up."
"Okay…"
Camie and Midoriya then finish eating their breakfast, and there she gave him a passionate kiss on his lips, causing Midoriya to blush and she tells him that he should have confidence in himself, and he took a deep breath and nodded, realizing that she has a point.
After that, Camie gave Midoriya a towel and said that he can use the shower, which he nodded and thanked her, and he proceeded to use the bathroom and went to the shower area, but he forgets to lock the door as he is thinking about what to do next as the upcoming Darwin's Game event would take place after lunch, and which venue would the event be held.
After some five minutes, Midoriya finished showering, and yet he is still in doubt about whether he could pull off an upset despite winning two Darwin's Game matches in a row, and now he wondered what kind of opponents he and Camie would face against.
His musing is interrupted when Camie showed up, telling him that he forgot to lock the door, and there she tells him that he is still lacking confidence he need to bring as she reminded him about the upcoming event, which he apologized for making her worry.
"Midoriya. I already told you…this isn't the time to chicken out."
"Uh…sorry…"
"You gor a fighting chance now since your Sigil is awakened, so now you can even the playing field."
"Well…"
"And remember…you got me."
"Uh…yeah."
"Plus we are partners now, so got a fighting chance to win the upcoming event. So cheer up."
"Okay…"
Camie smiled before wrapping her arms over his shoulders, causing Midoriya to blush, especially as he just noticed that she is only wrapped in a towel, and there she gave him a passionate kiss, and he was taken aback by the sudden kiss that he unintentionally reciprocate the kiss, which lasted over a minute, leaving Midoriya blushing and flustered.
