Ch. 2: Gakuen-sai

A few days later, it was the day of the school festival, and everyone at UA Academy are gearing up to prepare their respective programs as many would visit UA Academy, from parents to students from other schools up to representatives of various business sectors who are scouting the support course students to see if they could do business with the said students.

Hatsume is all geared up and excited, as she is readying her inventions that are about to be displayed, yet her fellow support course urged her to take a bath as she hasn't done so for the past few days, and they were worried that her body odor might turn off potential investors and visitors alike, not wanting the school festival to end in a sour note.

"Come on, Hatsume!"

"Don't risk ruining today!"

"He's right!"

"You need to take a bath!"

"That's right!"

"Your body odor is becoming apparent!"

"You need to take a bath!"

"And we mean now!"

Hatsume ignored them as she snickered in excitement, as she couldn't wait to show off her BABIES, yet Power Loader had to intervene and urged her to at least shower before the school festival starts so that the support course can show their programs with no problems.

"Hatsume!"

"Eh?"

"Please."

"Huh?"

"At least clean yourself."

"But…"

"Personal hygiene is important."

"Geez."

Hatsume sighed as she felt that it is a waste of time, and said that she would rather use baby cologne, but her fellow support course students wouldn't want to take a risk and berated her for being hygienically lazy and urged her to take a shower now.

"Hatsume!"

"Are you crazy?"

"You already stink!"

"What are you? A warthog?"

"You'll ruin the school festival!"

"You should go take a shower!"

"Yeah, he's right!"

"Take a shower already!"

Power Loader sighed and placed his hand on her shoulder and told Hatsume to take a shower, assuring her that she won't miss anything out and pointed out that physical presentation, as far as hygiene is concerned, is important, which she reluctantly obliged.

"The others are right."

"But…"

"Go take a shower."

"Power Loader-sensei..."

"Don't worry. We have time."

"Oh…fine."

"Good girl."

"…"

Meanwhile, the scene shifts at the road, where Mirko Togata is with Eri inside a taxi as they are on their way to UA Academy in order to attend the school festival, as both are aware that Izuku Midoriya is going to participate in a concert that Class 1-A intend to perform, and Eri is anxious as she is unsure what to expect, as this would be her first time to attend such an event.

Togata assured to Eri that everything will be okay and tells her to enjoy it as he promised that she would have a good time once they arrive at UA, where she would enjoy the good food, seeing the stalls where fun and games are there and everything else.

"It'll be fine, Eri-chan."

"…"

"You'll enjoy the visit."

"Really?"

"Yup. You get to see Midoriya dancing…there's food and games…and lots of other stuff…"

"I…really…?"

"You'll enjoy it. I promise."

"Okay…"

Eri just nodded and glanced at the window, as she wondered if she would enjoy herself once she and Togata arrive at UA Academy.

Not far, the scene shows that Midoriya is in a middle of a battle, where he is determined to stop an aspiring villain, identified as Gentle Criminal, from disrupting the UA Academy school festival as doing so would deprive the chance for Eri to smile again, and Midoriya tried to urge Gentle Criminal to stop, which had little success.

"Please…stop!"

"I can't…!"

"You'll ruin the school festival!"

"But that would make my debut spectacular…!"

"I can't let you!"

"Why not?"

"A little girl is visiting! Her ability to smile again rests on the school festival!"

"Eh?"

Despite Gentle Criminal using his Quirk, Midoriya wasn't deterred and he kept on fighting, and even when La Brava tried to assist Gentle Criminal, the brawl between him and Midoriya eventually reached near the vicinity of UA Academy, where Midoriya managed to defeat Gentle Criminal, and was able to persuade him to cease his plan of gate-crashing.

Hound Dog, Ectoplasm and Snipe arrived at the scene and handed Gentle Criminal and his accomplice, La Brava, to the police as Midoriya, with the aid of Ectoplasm, went to retrieve some items he dropped and went back to UA to join Class 1-A, where minutes later they began their program of performing a concert.

As UA students gathered at the gymnasium, Togata and Eri arrived, and the little girl is taken aback at seeing such a huge crowd, though Togata assured to her that everything will be fine and tells her to be ready as Midoriya will show up soon.

"Really?"

"Yup."

"Deku is…?"

"That's right."

"…"

"You're going to enjoy it."

"Okay…"

"Good…"

Soon Class 1-A appeared, and you can see that majority of the class act as dancers, while the others act as instrument users consisting of:

- Momo Yaoyorozu: piano

- Katsuki Bakugo: drums

- Fumikage Tokoyami: guitar

- Eijiro Kirishima: guitar

- Kyoka Jiro: guitar and vocals

There Class 1-A began their performance, where Jiro sang the song Hero Too, and soon everyone inside the gymnasium were taken in by the excitement, due to the intensity of Jiro's song while the rest, mainly Todoroki, Aoyama and Uraraka use their Quirks to help in elevating the excitement.

Midoriya is also seen dancing, which caught Eri's attention, where she finally override the trauma instilled on her by Kai Chisaki, and she finally regain her ability to smile, shouting in excitement while raising her hands.

Togata saw this and is glad that Midoriya succeeded in helping Eri, and there she told Togata how fun the concert is, and there he told her to enjoy the concert as the fun part is already underway.

"Really?"

"Yup!"

"There's more?"

"That's right! The concert was just the start. You're going to see more."

"Really?"

"Really."

"Okay."

"Good."

After several minutes the concert ended and it was a success, and there Togata congratulated Midoriya and Class 1-A for a job well done, and there Eri excitedly told Midoriya how much fun she had while watching, and Midoriya is glad to see that Eri has regained her ability to smile.

Eri jumped onto Midoriya's arms and said she is glad to have met him and said she wished that he is her family, like a real sibling, which touched Midoriya, as tears fell from his eyes, touched by her words of innocence.

Togata smiled while Asui and Kirishima can relate, having been aware that Eri's mother disowned her while Eri herself was brutally abused by Chisaki, and now Eri found a sibling-like figure in Midoriya.

"Wow."

"Kero…"

"Looks like Eri found someone she could relate."

"Yeah. And Midoriya-chan seemed to found someone who can relate with like having a little sister…"

"Thank goodness he beat up that Chisaki…"

"Now Eri-chan can start living normally like any kids."

"And we owe it to Midoriya."

"Kero…"

By then Mineta COMICALLY interrupted and urged everyone to make a move on, as the beauty contest would commence soon, which Kaminari agreed, though Asui accuses Mineta of wanting to visually ogle the students participating in the beauty contest, which Mineta deny, even though it was his intention as he would get to see the contestants wearing sexy attires.

"Kero…you're at it again, Mineta-chan…"

"Huh?"

"You really wanted to watch the beauty pageant…"

"Of course!"

"Are you thinking of something perverted…?"

"Of course not!"

"Really?"

"Really!"

Much later, most of the students and visitors convened at another gymnasium where the beauty contest is ongoing, where the contestants are showing their talents, which caught the spectators' eyes as the following contestants showed what they can do, which are:

- Itsuka Kendo

- Bibimi Kenranzaki

- Nejire Hado

Kendo showcased her martial arts skills, which were impressive, yet her gown was torn in the process, which showed her sexy body. Eri blushed seeing how sexy Kendo was as well as how gorgeous the Class 1-B rep looked.

Eri told Midoriya about it and he said that Kendo is a spirited girl and kind, which she asked if she is his classmate, but he told her that Kendo is from another class but is friends with him.

"From another class…?"

"Yes."

"And not from yours?"

"No, but we do meet sometimes and greet each other."

"…"

"If there's time, I'll introduce her to you."

"Really?"

"Really."

Though taken aback by Kenranzaki's talent display, Hado eventually wowed the crowd and in the end won the beauty contest. Much later Midoriya accompany Eri as she felt the need to use the toilet, and while embarrassed, he reluctantly went inside the girls' toilet after seeing that no one is inside, and there Eri uses the toilet.

After that Midoriya removed her upper clothing to help wipe her bare back which is wet due to sweat, but then Kendo came and is slightly surprised to see Midoriya here but seeing what he is doing, she can tell that Midoriya is just accompanying Eri, but then saw the rather visible scars on Eri's arms, drawing concern as she can tell that the scars are more than injuries.

As Midoriya saw Kendo, he waved his hands and tells her that he is not here to do anything perverted, which Kendo assured that she knows. As Togata called out for Eri, Midoriya dresses her up before leaving, and once Eri is outside, Kendo asked in a rather concerning tone about Eri's scars on her arms, and he reluctantly told her about the Shie Hassaikai raid, as well as the circumstances surrounding Eri, how she was mistreated and being disowned by her mother.

Kendo was shocked to hear this and like Midoriya, she could relate and wished that she could have met and helped her but Midoriya smiled and assured that Eri has overcame the trauma and is on her way to recovery.

"Is that so?"

"Yes. Eri finally overcame her trauma."

"I see. That's good to hear."

"Oh I think she took a liking to you."

"Really?"

"Yeah. She saw how you performed during the pageant."

"Really? That's flattering."

"I know."
