Ch. 3: Gakuen-sai de no gikochinai shunkan
As Kendo and Midoriya came out from the girls' restroom, Togata hilariously raised an eyebrow and asked Midoriya if he just peeked at a girl changing clothes, which caused the 1st year student to wave his hands defensively and said he did not such thing and that he was just explaining to Kendo about what happened to Eri.
"Really…?"
"Really!"
"And you're not just trying to talk your way out…?"
"There was no one there but me and Eri! Then Kendo-san came and I was only explaining to her about Eri!"
"Is that the truth…?"
"Yes!"
"Hmm…"
"Togata-senpai!"
Kendo blushed a bit at hearing this yet she saw that Eri is watching the scene innocently, yet she still couldn't help but notice the scars on her arms, though she noted that she appeared cheerful now compared to what Midoriya described about Eri's feelings before being rescued.
As the two boys and Eri left, Kendo's classmates, Reiko Yanagi and Setsuna Tokage, came, who happened to saw Kendo and Midoriya leave the girls' restroom together and asked her what just happened and what was Midoriya doing there.
Kendo noted the suspicious looks on her classmates' faces and sighed. She then explained the circumstances and assured that Midoriya didn't do anything indecent, though Yanagi didn't appeared convinced.
"Are you sure…?"
"Yeah. I'm sure."
"Really?"
"That's the truth!"
"And you're not trying to cover for him?"
"Of course not!"
"…"
"Come on, Yanagi!"
Tokage smirked as she started to see this as a form of entertainment, and started to tease Kendo, where she asked her if she and Midoriya shared a PRIVATE KISS, given the setting and everything else, and even said that because of her popularity during Kendo's internship with Uwabami and at the beauty pageant several minutes ago, it's a given that Midoriya would take interest in her and attempt to STEAL A KISS.
Kendo stared wide-eyed at hearing this as Yanagi was starting to get swayed by Tokage's words and a flustered Kendo told Tokage to knock it off as what she said is not true, despite her blushing at the accusations her classmate made.
"Are you sure…?"
"Of course!"
"Really?"
"That's the truth! Honest!"
"And you're not trying to cover for him? Is it because you got intoxicated by his kiss…"
"Of course not! We never kissed!"
"Hmm…"
"Come on, Tokage!"
Yanagi whispered to Kendo and asked her point blank if Midoriya didn't really try to make a pass at her and Kendo blushed deeper and told her classmate that what she just heard is not true, and stated that if Midoriya really intend to do that he would have been thrown out of the restroom via her Quirk.
She also reiterated that Midoriya is a good boy and has no perverted inclination whatsoever. The two girls stared at Kendo, looking unconvinced and commented that perhaps Kendo started to take interest in Midoriya, much to Kendo's annoyance.
"What do you think?"
"Maybe he got her…"
"Really?"
"That's what I think…"
"Then Kendo…"
"She got seduced…"
"For real?"
"Looks like it…"
Sighing, Kendo told her two classmates that they should drop it and just focus on having fun at the school festival and she took her leave, with Yanagi and Tokage following her and the two girls glanced at Kendo, still wondering if she really took a liking to Midoriya.
Much later, the students at UA Academy are having fun, enjoying the fun and games while others visited the stalls, which includes the following such as:
- The haunted house
- Maid Café
- The occult
As Kendo, Yanagi and Tokage are walking around the school grounds, she saw some of Class 1-A students are there, where they are planning to visit the various stalls to enjoy the school festival.
There Mineta urged his classmates that they should check out the stalls and other attractions within UA Academy, which Kaminari, Sero, Ashido, Uraraka, Jiro and Hagakure agreed, as they want to enjoy the day.
"Okay!"
"Okay!"
"Okay!"

"Okay!"
Kirishima heard his classmates and invited Bakugo to join in on the festivities, which for once, he is in agreement, as he felt good after pulling off a successful concert.
"So…are you game, Bakugo?"
"Hah!"
"Want to have fun?"
"You bet, you red hedgehog!"
"That's the spirit!"
"I feel so good after making a fool on those critics!"
"Then let's go!"
"Yeah..."
As Class 1-A went to various stalls to enjoy the fun and festivities, Kendo saw Midoriya went with Togata and Eri, and the trio were having fun and while there, Kendo is looking around, seemingly enjoying the activities, until seeing Midoriya carrying Eri as if they were like a parent and child.
Since watching the news of the pro heroes involved in the Shie Hassaikai Raid operation, Kendo and most of Class 1-A were surprised at seeing the battle and how it the area was ravaged yet there where zero casualties, with Tetsutetsu commenting that Kirishima escaped serious injuries and the such.
After seeing the live news footage of Midoriya battling Kai Chisaki while protecting Eri, Kendo became more admiring towards Midoriya and came to respect him for being a dedicated person who wants to become a hero.
As Midoriya and Eri went to a food stall, they asked if they have apples, which the seller said it just sold out, which Midoriya assured to Eri that he'll find some, though the little girl said it is okay, even though she was quite disappointed.
"It's okay, Eri."
"…"
"I'll find you some apples."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Okay."
"I promise you will enjoy your visit here at UA."
"…"
Kendo blinked her eyes as she remembered something and approached Eri, as she took something from her bag and gave her an apple pie, which Kendo said that it is delicious as well as it contains apple ingredients.
Eri blushed at hearing this as well as getting to see Kendo up close and she glanced at the apple pie as she could smell the scent of apple.
Eri took a bite and smiled, and she thanked Kendo, which the Class 1-B rep said it is okay.
"Thank you…"
"Sure, it's okay."
"…"
"Go on…enjoy."
"It's…sweet…"
"Yup. With apple ingredients and all…"
"Thanks."
"You're welcome…"
Midoriya smiled at seeing Eri smiling and thanked Kendo, which she smiled as well and said it is okay, assuring that it is nothing. The two teens began chatting which Tokage smirked at seeing this while Yanagi wondered if what her classmate said is true.
Suddenly, a pair of UA students came and held the two 1st year students, which startled them and asked what is the meaning of this, wondering if the schoolmates are the critics from Class 1-A's concert, but the schoolmates told them that Midoriya and Kendo has to come with them.
The two 1st year students initially refused and demanded to know what this is about.
"Come with you?"
"What for?"
"Just come along, you two."
"No arguments."
"No way!"
"We demand to know what this is about!"
"…"
"…"
There the two schoolmates pointed out that Midoriya and Kendo were stepping on a YELLOW CIRCLE, which indicates that they are CHOSEN, which made the two teens wonder what this is about, and a few minutes later, both of them are at the MARRIAGE BOOTH, where it is revealed that any boy with a girl stepping on the yellow circle would subjecting them to MARRIAGE, which is actually a mock wedding.
This soon attracted the attention of other UA students, as they are curious to know what would happen, especially that the girl was the one seen in commercials alongside Uwabami and Yaoyorozu.
"Hey, look!"
"It's her!"
"Kendo of Class 1-B!"
"Wow…she's hot…"
"And that's the kid from Class 1-A!"
"Whoa…both at the marriage booth?"
"This should be interesting…"
"Will they kiss…?"
Midoriya blushed at this while Kendo is taken by surprise, as it reminded her of her internship with Uwabami, where she and Yaoyorozu were flocked by fans, and she glanced at Midoriya, who is blushing hard, and she felt slightly at ease, seeing that she isn't the only one feeling uneasy in this situation, but wondered what their schoolmates would think about this situation.
Tokage and Yanagi were among the spectators and both were curious as to how this would play out, in which Tokage is expecting something that is entertaining, while Yanagi is a bit worried for Kendo as this might cause a lot of wanton gossiping and stuff, yet Tokage said that this is okay as it would help Kendo show more of her feminine side.
"Are you serious, Tokage?"
"Fuu-fuu-fuu…"
"Don't you think…"
"This will be fine."
"How so?"
"If this would make her show more of her girly side…"
"At Midoriya's expense…?"
"Why not?"
Soon word reached some of Midoriya's classmates about the marriage booth and both Mineta and Kaminari became intrigued, yet suspicious that Midoriya would get to kiss one of the beauties from Class 1-B, and there both urged their classmates that they should check out the marriage booth and see if Midoriya has the guts to kiss Kendo on the lips, which others, like Yaoyorozu and Jiro find it intriguing, knowing that Midoriya is not that kind of a boy.
"What do you think, Yao-Momo?"
"Hmm…"
"?"
"It might be worth checking out…"
"You sure?"
"Yes. That way we would get to see if Midoriya is really a good boy or if he is on par with Mineta's perversity…"
"Midoriya…no way…"
"…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as it retells the concluding part of the school festival arc…only this time Kendo is involved, and how she started to get drawn to Eri, and now she and Midoriya gets embroiled in a marriage booth fair within UA Academy…
