Ch. 11: Gakkō de motto yakkaina shunkan part 3
In a few minutes after Togata, Eri, Midoriya and Kendo are on their seats, they were chatting and getting along well, in which Togata said to Kendo that when the next work studies commence, he would invite her to have a work study at the Nighteye Agency, which surprised Kendo, having heard that All Might used to work there as the partner of the late Sir Nighteye.
"As in the Nighteye Agency, senpai?"
"Yup. And that's where All Might used to work…"
"For real?"
"You heard me."
"…"
"If sir were still alive, I'm sure he would accept you…"
"I wonder…"
"Well, Centipeder and Bubble Girl are now in charge…I'm quite sure they might take you in…"
Midoriya nodded and said that though Nighteye has already passed away, the agency is in good hands now that Centipeder and Bubble Girl are running it, and Midoriya said that if Nighteye is alive he might consider Kendo as a viable additional sidekick, which Kendo was quite flattered, and said that she would think about it carefully.
"Well…I would have to think about it…"
"Oh, take your time."
"Yeah."
"Well…there's no rush."
"Yeah, I suppose…"
"When the next work studies is announced, I'll let you know, Kendo-san."
"Okay, Midoriya. Thanks."
"Sure."
At this point Tamaki Amajiki and Nejire Hado came, and joined the group as Hado lifted Eri and playfully spins her around, causing the little girl to squeal, showing that the two got along well, and there Hado asked Togata if she and Amajiki can join them for lunch, which Togata smiled and said that it is okay, as there is plenty of room to spare.
"Ne-ne…can we join you?"
"Sure."
"You won't mind, right?"
"Not at all."
"Really?"
"We got room here."
"Okay!"
"Come on in…"
As Hado and Amajiki sat, Kendo moved a bit and she got closer to Midoriya, which caused a lot of onlookers to stare in surprise, suspecting that there is something going on between the two, further adding speculations that Midoriya and Kendo could be the parents of Eri, which they are unaware that this is not the case at all and yet they wrongly believed the rumors that are spreading.
"Whoa…"
"Look at that…"
"They're close…"
"Then the rumors are true…"
"Could be…"
"So Midoriya and Kendo are the kid's parents…"
"No way…"
"It can't be…"
Meanwhile, the jealous and resentful admirers of Kendo are there, getting more irritated at seeing Midoriya getting closer to Kendo, and now the resentful admirers are eyeing Midoriya, believing that he is using Eri to show off to Kendo, as they refuse to believe that Kendo is dating what they believe is a detestable boy from a detestable class that caused UA Academy to be targeted by numerous villains, and now they have even more reasons to resent Midoriya, and they unjustifiably pin the blame on Eri, thinking that she is part of Midoriya's schemes, which in reality, is not.
"How irritating…"
"And now he is really using that bastard kid…"
"Damn that Midoriya…he's trying to impress Kendo again…"
"Worse, it's definite that he's using the kid to woo her…"
"That damn Midoriya...and that little brat! She's part of that scheme!"
"Now I really hate him! And that little brat!"
"Makes me want to beat him up!"
"Don't forget that little girl! She ought to be punished…!"
Uraraka, Asui and Kirishima, who arrived just now, overheard what the jealous admirers are saying, and the three Class 1-A members are not taking this matter lightly after hearing them blaming Eri, and there Kirishima confronted the admirers and told them to leave Eri alone as she is innocent in this and has nothing to do with Midoriya getting close to Kendo, and warned them that they better not pick on Eri.
The admirers refused to admit their faults and scoffed at Kirishima's threats, and instead blamed him and Class 1-A for causing UA Academy to be targeted by villains because of Class 1-A's arrogance and trying to show off, which Uraraka and Asui are pissed, as it is not their fault that UA Academy became a marked target, mainly because the League Of Villains targeted Class 1-A because of they were targeting All Might.
The two girls berated the resentful admirers to stop putting the blame on Class 1-A, and tells them that if they want Kendo to be their girlfriend then they should woo her instead of bullying Midoriya and Eri, but the resentful admirers scoffed at the two girls and tells them to go to Shibuya and act like gyaru, saying that it suits them more than being students here at UA Academy, so that the villains would go after the two girls instead of going after UA Academy.
Uraraka and Asui were offended, which Kirishima was pissed and is poised to retaliate PHYSICALLY, but his two classmates held him back, saying that he might get into trouble though he justified that the boys' comments are a low blow to the two girls and he cannot just stand there idly, as their comments are really insulting and offensive.
"Kero! Don't!"
"Kirishima!"
"Its fine! What they said is an insult to you girls! They really disrespected you as persons and think of you as prostitutes!"
"…"
"…"
"And I'm not going to let them trample your dignity just like that! Someone's got to teach them a lesson even if it means getting suspended or expelled!"
"…"
"…"
Fortunately, Kendo overheard it, and angered at the jealous admirers' foolish comments and accusing Eri for something she is not guilty of, she approached the jealous admirers, then activated her Quirk and slammed the table, surprising the jealous admirers as Kendo sternly told them to stop picking on Class 1-A, and issued a very STERN WARNING to leave Eri and Midoriya alone.
Moreover, Kendo made it clear that Eri is from an abandoned family and said that Midoriya rescued her and both shared a SIBLING-LIKE bond, hence the rumors they heard are false, so the jealous admirers have no reason to resent Midoriya and Eri, and made it clear that she will not tolerate any form of bullying, and Midoriya came, trying to calm her down.
"And you heard me! Leave Midoriya and Eri alone!"
"…"
"…"
"…"
"And if I hear another offensive comments from you, I swear you won't be smiling again!"
"…"
"…"
"…"
The jealous admirers were embarrassed and humiliated, which they were unable to rebut and had no choice but to leave the cafeteria, and there Kirishima, Uraraka and Asui comforted Kendo, telling her to calm down, though the Class 1-B president smiled and assured to her that she is okay and they have nothing to worry about, saying that at least the admirers got the message loud and clear.
"Its fine, it's fine."
"Really?"
"Are you sure?"
"Kero…"
"Yup. Besides, I got pissed when they said that Uraraka and Asui should go to Shibuya and act as call girls…really, they are idiots."
"You got that right…"
"Yeah…"
"Kero…"
The jealous admirers were glaring at Midoriya and Eri, and they mumbled at each other as they are leaving the cafeteria, where they are considering in getting even towards the two, wrongly blaming them for the dressing down that the admirers got from Kendo, as they deemed Midoriya and Eri as total eyesore, believing that they are a bad influence to Kendo.
"That Midoriya..."
"He's an asshole…"
"And that brat…she is a real eyesore…"
"Yeah…posing as Midoriya's kid…"
"I ought to beat that Midoriya…he's the same as Class 1-A..."
"And let's beat that kid…we can scare her away…so Midoriya won't get any leverage…"
"Sounds good…"
"Yeah…I'm in…"
However, the jealous admirers got their comeuppance as Aizawa showed up, emitting an angry aura as he said that he overheard everything they said and he will not tolerate those kind of behavior and for that they earned an EARLY ACCESS to the detention room and a four-day house arrest, surprising the jealous admirers and they tried to plead their cases.
"No!"
"Please don't!"
"We're sorry!"
"Anything but detention!"
"Its not my fault!"
"It was his idea!"
"Why me?"
"Mommy!"
Aizawa just glared at them as he uses his Capture Cloth and binds them as he drags the jealous admirers away from the cafeteria, and the boys were wailing as they did not want detention and foolishly insisted that it was Midoriya and Eri's faults, which further infuriated Aizawa, seeing that the boys are shifting the blame on the innocent little girl.
"No!"
"Please don't!"
"We're innocent!"
"We didn't do anything!"
"Its was Midoriya's fault!"
"It was that white-haired kid! It was her idea! She's the guilty one!"
"She is using Midoriya to coax Kendo!"
"It's true! That little kid is a menace!"
Eri blinked her eyes as she wondered what was going on, though Togata and Hado assured to her that everything is okay and she has nothing to worry about, concerned that she unknowingly earned the ire of the jealous admirers, and as Hado led Eri to the counter so she can pick her food, Togata discreetly told Midoriya and Kendo to be careful, saying that they and Eri have become possible targets for retaliation.
"Midoriya…Kendo...be on your guard…"
"Yeah…"
"Yeah…"
"You guys have unwittingly became targets…and protect Eri...those guys might target her because of you and Kendo…"
"I'll protect Eri..."
"Me too…"
"Okay…we should be careful…and I'll let the teachers and the principal know…right now continue to spend time with Eri."
"Yeah."
"Understood…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as the rumors involving Midoriya, Eri and Kendo persists even at UA Academy…and while Midoriya feels like regretting about the wedding booth incident, his classmates encouraged him to continue his friendship with Kendo.
Things took an interesting turn as Eri pays a surprise visit at UA Academy, where she and Midoriya invited Kendo to join them for lunch, which earned the ire of Kendo's jealous admirers, while some of Midoriya's classmates are becoming worried for Midoriya and Eri's safety.
Moreover, Aizawa got the gist after overhearing what the jealous admirers are planning in regards to Eri so he punished them via detention…
Looks like things are about to get heated up…

The next chapter will continue the current arc, and there the developed feelings between Midoriya and Kendo intensifies with Eri getting indirectly involved…especially as they spend time together…
