Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here, the aftermath of what happened from the previous arc, which Midoriya and Kendo reflect on what happened and how they would cope…

Ch. 17: Kanjō-tekina kaifuku part 1
The scene shifts at the faculty room where the faculty staff had an emergency meeting to discuss the recent events that took place. It has been three days since the incident which some UA Academy students berated Midoriya and Eri for such shallow reasons, but things escalated when the leader of the posse physically assaulted Eri, causing Midoriya to lose control of his emotions and physically retaliated.
As Kendo attempted to intervene she was kicked on her CROTCH and she physically retaliated as well, but when his fellow posse members physically assaulted Eri as well, Midoriya further got agitated and assaulted them as well, but Midnight arrived and uses her Quirk to sedate Midoriya and the tension ended, though it caused quite a scene.
Especially after Aizawa and All Might witnessed the posse leader attempted to assault Eri again at the UA Academy infirmary with Midoriya stopping him, and there the posse leader, along with his fellow posse were taken to police custody for assaulting an innocent child, but Aizawa reluctantly had to punish Midoriya and Kendo even though their act was in self-defense.
It is revealed that Midoriya would spend five days of house arrest at Heights Alliance while Kendo would spend four days. Aizawa made it clear that he didn't want to punish the two students but he had no choice as Midoriya and Kendo's actions violate school rules although the reasons were justified, while Nezu said that it is okay as he is going to address the matter in regards to the other UA students who witnessed the scene but acted like nothing happened.
"Its fine, Aizawa. It's fine."
"Although I can sympathize with the two. Yet I feel I am partly to blame because I didn't expect that those posse students would harm Eri..."
"You are not to blame, so it is okay."
"Principal…"
"Lets just focus on today. No point digging up the past."
"…fine…"
"Cheer up, Aizawa."
"…"
Midnight mentioned that Hound Dog is giving counseling to Midoriya given what happened to him as he is starting to blame himself for not being able to protect Eri, which Kendo also blames herself for the same reason, though Present Mic is confident that both teens would recover in no time, which Midnight is hoping that they would.
Cementoss, Snipe and Thirteen then commented that last night the reporter who recorded the incident aired on TV and made an expose about the MORAL FLAWS of the values education of UA Academy, in which Nezu acknowledged and said that he will address the issue without question and there he said to the three teachers that the issue would be dealt with.
"I will address the matter personally."
"Really, principal?"
"It's a rather sensitive subject…"
"Think you can handle it…?"
"Leave the matter to me, my fellow teachers…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
The teachers nodded while Nezu tells Aizawa to go check on Eri, which the teacher nodded, getting up and left the office, and then the principal tells Hound Dog to gather the students seen on the video and have them brought to the principal's office, as he will give them a dressing down for their apathy towards the recent incident.
"Go summon the students seen on the video, Hound Dog."
"Yea sir…but do you think…"
"I will handle it."
"You sure? I doubt that they would…"
"Do not worry. I know the right approach."
"Very well, principal."
"Good…go fetch the students that I intend to give a stern sermon."
"At once, principal…"

Later in the day, the scene shifts at Heights Alliance, where Class 1-A arrived after attending classes, and there they went straight to Midoriya's dorm room where they greeted Midoriya, who is staying at his room as he has nothing to do due to being under house arrest, where Kirishima, Uraraka, Asui and Iida voiced their disagreement that Midoriya getting a house arrest since he did not intentionally caused a commotion.
"Still, Deku...I find it unfair…"
"Kero…I agree…"
"Yeah…those posse are unmanly…attacking Eri when they are clearly after Midoriya and Kendo...they are the worst!"
"Indeed! It's not Midoriya's fault that he and Kendo are getting along well! And those posse and their leader shouldn't have vented their anger on the innocent Eri!"
"I heard that the police are eyeing charges…"
"Kero…child abuse…"
"They better not get bailed…"
"I agree!"
Yaoyorozu, Jiro, Ashido and Hagakure also echoed the same sentiment, reasoning that Eri was being assaulted and it is natural for Midoriya to get physical after the posse leader slapped Eri and intend to harm her, as the posse leader unjustifiably vented his ire towards the innocent child when his beef is towards Midoriya for thinking that Midoriya is using Eri to woo Kendo.
Uraraka, Asui, Kirishima and Iida further became distressed and their anger towards the posse increases.
"Still, I think what Deku did is justifiable…if he didn't react…"
"Kero…those goons would have harmed Eri-chan even more…"
"Yeah…those posse are unmanly…attacking Eri when they make Midoriya back off from Kendo…"
"Indeed! It's not Midoriya's fault that he and Kendo are getting along well! And those posse and their leader shouldn't have vented their anger on the innocent Eri! So them getting expelled is rightfully just!"
"I hope they better stay away from Eri…"
"Kero…indeed…"
"They better not show their faces here…"
"I agree!"
Ojiro, Tokoyami, and Sero then wondered what would happen next, as they have a feeling that the critics of Class 1-A would use this incident as leverage against them, believing that they would blame Midoriya and Class 1A for putting UA Academy into another bad spotlight, mentioning that the reporter aired a report last night about what happened a few days ago.
Bakugo then snapped and tells his classmates that the critics can yap all they want, as all they do is complain, but in the end it'll blow in their faces because they never know the whole picture because it is not Class 1-A's fault that UA Academy got targeted because the class was the victim due to being targeted by villains that began since the USJ incident, which majority of Class 1A agreed.
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
Midoriya just stared at the floor, as he is still feeling down as he felt that he was unable to protect Eri, though Todoroki, Iida and Yaoyorozu tells Midoriya not to blame himself, assuring to him that what's important is that the culprits have been punished and that Eri will make a full recovery in no time.
"Midoriya…stop blaming yourself. You're not at fault."
"Todoroki is right. Eri will be okay."
"Todoroki and Yaoyorozu are correct,. Midoriya. Please lift your head and don't get all depressed."
"I…okay…"
"That's good to hear."
"Please be patient. Your house arrest will be over soon…"
"They're right. Please cheer up, Midoriya."
"Okay…"
Suddenly, Tetsutetsu and Awase of Class 1-B came, as they said that they came to check on Midoriya, which Kirishima welcomed the two Class 1-B members, assuring to them that Midoriya is doing well, and Kirishima asked them how Kendo is doing, in which Awase said that while her HYMEN is broken due to being kicked on her CROTCH, she had no other injuries and that by the end of tomorrow, her house arrest will end and she will attend class the day after tomorrow.
While Yaoyorozu is glad to hear that, Kaminari and Mineta were slightly displeased as this means that Midoriya would have to wait for two more days before his house arrest would end, and they blamed the posse for what Midoriya is going through, though Todoroki told his two classmates that what matters now is that the posse who harmed Eri have been expelled from UA Academy.
"Kaminari…Mineta...it's fine."
"Eh?"
"But…"
"The posse won't come back…and Eri won't be harmed again. That's what matters…"
"Well…"
"That's true…"
"Then it's settled. Just let it go."
"Fine…"
"Fine…"

At the dorm of Class 1-B, Yanagi, Pony and Tokage are inside Kendo's dorm room, where they are cheering Kendo up as they are aware that by tomorrow would be the last day of her house arrest, and there the three girls told Kendo that she has a lot of catching up to do, which she nodded, though she is worried about Eri, given the events that happened, the little girl may have suffered from emotional trauma, though Yanagi, Pony and Tokage assured to Kendo that Eri will be okay.
"Don't worry, Kendo. Everything will be okay."
"Pony is right. Don't stress yourself too much, Itsuka. I'm pretty sure that Eri will be fine."
"Really…?"
"Yes, really."
"That's right, so cheer up."
"Fine…"
"Good, Kendo."
"Don't feel down, Itsuka."
Pony then changed the subject as she reminded Kendo of what transpired during the school festival, such as the wedding booth incident, which Tokage smirked as she saw what happened, and the two girls teasingly asked Kendo if she like Midoriya, reminding her that the WEDDING KISS they EXCHANGED was pretty REALISTIC, which the class rep blushed furiously as she is reminded of how they kissed at the school festival, at the stalls and at Midoriya's dorm room where majority of Class 1-A saw it.
Tokage grinned at seeing Kendo's flustered state and tells her two classmates that Kendo isn't denying it and reiterated that Kendo has feelings for Midoriya, which Pony agreed, and there Kendo told her two classmates to knock it off, even though she is blushing and flustered at the same time.
"H-hey…that's not…"
"Ooohhh…you're blushing, Itsuka…"
"So Kendo likes Midoriya…"
"W-wait…that's…"
"You're blushing hard…"
"I can't wait to see Kendo and Midoriya kiss again…"
"Guys…will you cut it out…?"
"Just admit it, Itsuka…"
"Kendo likes Midoriya…Kendo likes Midoriya..."

Hope you liked this chapter, as both Midoriya and Kendo are facing punishment despite what they did was justifiable…but both felt guilty of being unable to protect Eri yet their friends gave them emotional support and assured to the two that everything will be okay…
