Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here, the aftermath of what happened from the previous arc, which Midoriya and Kendo reflect on what happened and how they would cope…once they meet up again…

Ch. 18: Kanjō-tekina kaifuku part 2
The next day, the scene shifts at the faculty room where the faculty staff are waiting, as Hound Dog arrived, and with him are the UA Academy students who witnessed what the posse leader and his group did to Eri, and there the UA students whined as they complain that they have classes, and wondered why they were brought here s they are sure that they didn't do anything.
"What does the principal want with us?"
"Why are we here?"
"I got work to do…"
"Me too…"
"I wonder if there's a work study…"
"Maybe a pro hero wanted to see us…"
"Sounds good…"
"At least they recognize and acknowledge us…unlike those idiots from Class 1-A..."
Hound Dog growled louder and angrily tells them to stop complaining as right now they are in no position to complain, surprising the UA students as they were taken aback by the teacher's aggressive tone, which made them wondered what is going on here, reiterating that they didn't do anything to deserve this.
"Whoa…"
"What the…?"
"H-hey…"
"What gives…?"
"Why are you growling at us?"
"We didn't do anything wrong…"
"That's right…"
"We're good students…"
The UA students then noticed that the other faculty staff members staring at them with contempt, and there Nezu showed up, looking displeased and asked them what is their purpose in studying at UA Academy, which the UA students answered as if it's obvious, and reiterated that they aim to become pro heroes to protect the public.
Hearing this, Nezu played the footage which contains the report of the reporter who videotaped the incident where the posse leader and his group were assaulting Eri, which Kendo, and a few Class 1-A members were trying to restrain and calm Midoriya, while Kendo is forced to physically defend Eri until the posse leader kicked her on her crotch before slapping Eri to the ground.
The footage and the reporter's commentary were also shown which featured the UA students standing there doing nothing as if it is none of their business, and there Nezu asked the UA students why didn't they try to defend the girl or why report to the teachers of the incident, saying that the incident could have been prevented.
The UA students' arrogance were accidentally exposed as the students said that it is within Class 1-A's jurisdiction and that it is their problem, and justified that if the UA students who witnessed the incident were to intervene, they would only stoop to Class 1-A's level and would be accused of emulating Class 1-A's reputation of attracting villains and put UA Academy in trouble.
"That is Class 1-A's problem! Not ours!"
"If we butt in, they'll accuse us as being on their level!"
"Besides, that what Class 1-A wanted, right? Getting attention…and that's what they get!"
"And it's their fault for dragging that kid in their turf!"
"So that was Class 1-A's fault! Not us, so don't lump us with them! They started it!"
"Yeah!"
"That's right!"
"Class 1-A is a section full of arrogant idiots!"
Hound Dog gritted his teeth seeing how low the UA students act, and Present Mic is tempted to use his Quirk to teach the UA students a lesson, but Midnight and Cementoss calmed them down, saying that Nezu got this covered and the UA students here would get a dose of their own medicine.
"Easy, boys."
"Calm down."
"But…"
"Why not?"
"The principal got this covered."
"Let him deal with those students."
"…"
"…"
Nezu then played the footage where the reporter told her commentary about how some UA Academy students are getting arrogant and expressed unabashed apathy in letting the posse members abuse Eri, and that they can be heard mumbling that Eri deserved it for hanging out with TROUBLEMAKERS like Class 1-A.
The UA students were starting to buckle as the guilt began to overtake their composure as Nezu asked what can they say about this, as the reporter's commentary is clear, as she witnessed what she saw and the UA students are struggling to come up with an alibi just to justify their actions.
"Er…"
"Um…"
"Ah…"
"Well…"
"You see…"
"Its like this…"
"That's..."
"How do I put this…"
Basing on the weak alibi they are giving, and seeing that the UA students have no intention of taking responsibility for their inactions, Nezu gave his verdict, in which the UA students who intentionally ignored the incident and allowed the posse to harm an innocent child, they are suspended indefinitely and are barred from Heights Alliance unless they brought their parents to the principal's office so he can have a serious talk with them, and if the discussion bore fruit, the students would be required to submit a letter of apology in order for them to be reinstated as students.
The UA students stared wide-eyed at hearing this, as they were unwilling to accept this and pleaded for a lenient punishment but Nezu would not budge, and there he told the beleaguered UA students that the punishment takes effect immediately, and the UA students wailed like spoiled brats as this is a situation they do not want to get into.
"I AM SORRY!"
"FORGIVE US!"
"WE DIDN'T MEAN TO!"
"SPARE US!"
"FORGIVE US!"
"THE VILLAINS MADE ME DO IT!"
"PLEASE FORGIVE US!"
"WE'LL DO ANYTHING!"
The now-suspended UA students knelt down and procrastinating, begging the principal to reconsider his decision but Midnight uses her Quirk and the suspended UA students are sedated, and there Ectoplasm uses his Quirk to create clones and carried the students out of the principal's office and towards the streets while Present Mic is tasked to make sure that the suspended students would comply once they wake up.
As Ectoplasm and Present Mic carry the sedated, suspended students out, Kirishima and Bakugo happened to pass by and blinked their eyes as they saw what they just witnessed, and there Midnight came and whispered to the two Class 1-A students and discreetly told them what happened, which Bakugo smirked while Kirishima just nodded, seeing that Nezu's decision is well-justified, especially after watching the news commentary last night.
"…and that's what happened…"
"Whoa…now they will have to face the music…"
"Heh, serves them right."
"So now you kids will have to concentrate on training to become pro heroes."
"Yeah."
"Uh-huh."
"Now then…"
"?"
"?"
Midnight then requested to Kirishima and Bakugo to keep this a secret for now, which the two students nodded as they head back to their classroom, which Kirishima and Bakugo felt vindicated that the UA students who deliberately allowed the posse to harm Eri got the punishment they deserved just because the students blame Class 1-A for causing the villains to target UA.
What the two Class 1-A members and Midnight didn't know is that Jiro and Ashido were nearby, and there Jiro accidentally heard everything via her Earphone Jack, and told Ashido about it, and the latter clenched her fist and said that those critics got what they deserved, as they think that what happened to Eri would be Class 1-A's fault, and now the suspended students got their just deserts, which Jiro agreed.
"Yes! Justice prevails!"
"Yeah, you said it, Ashido."
"Those critics got what they deserved!"
"Indeed. They think they are high and mighty, and now it came back crashing onto themselves."
"Can't wait to tell our classmates…"
"Easy, Ashido…"
"Heh-heh…"
"…"

Later in the day, the scene shifts at Heights Alliance, where Class 1-A is currently at UA Academy attending classes, thus Midoriya was left alone as he is still serving his house arrest, and right now he just left the bathroom and went straight to his dorm room to change, as he ponder on what to do to pass up the time since he is not allowed to go outside Heights Alliance.
Inside his dorm room, Midoriya removed the towel from his waist as he is about to put on a new set of clothes, leaving him naked, and though he is assured that he is not at fault for what happened recently, he felt that he owes Kendo a sincere apology after she was assaulted by the posse leader when she tried to protect Eri, even though it wasn't his fault because he lost emotional control.
Midoriya sighed as he wondered why things ended up like that, but then Kendo's face flashed in his mind and there he blushed involuntarily, as he is reminded of the conversation with his classmates yesterday that there is a possible romance between him and her, and Midoriya wondered if he developed feelings for Kendo, and started his muttering mannerisms.
As the minutes passed, Kendo, who is on the verge of having her house arrest ending, came to the Class 1-A dorms to check on Midoriya, and there she went to his dorm room and knocked on Midoriya's dorm room door but got no response and as she entered his room, she blinked her eyes as she saw him facing the wall in a sideway position muttering to himself while naked, and she blushed at seeing the boy's SHAVED PRIVATE PART, but shook her head as she tried to regain her composure.
She approached Midoriya and gently tap his shoulder and asked if he is okay, which snapped him back to reality and saw her in front of him, and he is taken by surprise, and seemingly forget that he is BUCK NAKED as Kendo tried to not make things awkward as she asked him if he is okay, and the One For All user nodded and began apologizing to her for what happened recently.
"Really…I'm very sorry about what happened…had I not lost control I would have…"
"No…it's okay, Midoriya. You're not at fault."
"But…but…"
"Its okay…you have nothing to worry."
"I…"
"Its okay. I'm not upset at you. Eri is doing fine now. Aizawa-sensei told me."
"Kendo…"
"Easy, Midoriya...easy…"
Kendo held his shoulders and calmed him down, assuring to him that he is not at fault, admitting that she should have reacted immediately when the posse leader began to harm Eri, but she made it clear that the posse leader and his posse were the root cause of all this, and she tells him that he shouldn't brood over that since he is not at fault at all, and that the teachers and the principal have already dealt with the posse members and their leader by expelling them.
Kendo smiled and hugged him, and said that they are like TWO PEAS IN A POD when it comes to caring for Eri, saying that Midoriya is like the BIG BROTHER while she is the BIG SISTER, though she jokingly said that she seemed to like the idea of becoming SURROGATE PARENTS to Eri.
"Huh? Really…?"
"Yes, Midoriya."
"Well…"
"Since meeting Eri, I started seeing and treating her like a little sister, but now I feel like she is like a daughter to me."
"I suppose…"
"Anyway, don't feel bad. I'm sure that Eri will be a cheerful girl once again."
"…"
"…"
Kendo then embraced Midoriya further and said that he is a good-natured boy and she admired him for respecting the girls in his class, and that he never takes advantage, and that he is a good would-be pro hero who cares for children, such as Eri, which touched Midoriya emotionally, and he hugged her in return, and there he stared at her face and subconsciously began to get attracted to her.
Likewise, Kendo finds herself drawn to her schoolmate, and despite having the same height, with both Midoriya and Kendo being 5'5¼", she didn't seem to mind it as she subconsciously caressed his cheek as she admired his innocence, and without realizing, they slowly kissed on the lips, which was innocent, gentle. They began to embrace while kissing, as they seemed to be lost in thought as emotions started to dictate their subconsciousness due to the unexpected moment.
