I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here, the aftermath of what happened from the previous chapter, which Midoriya and Kendo are about to go somewhere that would help ease the stress of what took place earlier at the police station and the hospital…

Ch. 24: Sokkyō dēto
The scene shifts at the hospital where Eri regained consciousness, and beside her are Togata and Aizawa, as they gotten permission to stay here as they said that they are the only ones who could calm her down in case something unexpected take place, and as Eri sat up, she saw Aizawa and Togata, and she sadly apologize for making them worry, though Togata assured to her that she did nothing wrong.
Aizawa nodded and told her that the Dadakko family are in the midst of receiving punishment for what they did to her and Midoriya, and there Eri realize what happened and began to ask where Midoriya is, which Togata assured to the little girl that Midoriya and Kendo are doing fine, saying that nothing bad happened to them.
"Really? Deku and Kendo are okay…?"
"Yup. They're fine."
"They're not hurt…?"
"Don't worry. They're doing fine, Eri."
"For sure?"
"That's right. So relax."
"O-okay…"
"Good girl."
Aizawa nodded and told Eri that there is nothing for her to worry and said that she will be discharged in a while and that they are heading back to UA Academy, and promised to her that no one will lay a finger on her and he would make sure that no one would do something foolish towards her.
"So feel at ease. You'll be fine."
"Okay…"
"You have nothing to worry about. So don't worry about the bullies."
"Okay…"
"We'll protect you, Eri. I promise."
"Okay…"
"Good, so don't think too much. Okay?"
"Okay…"
As Eri nodded, All Might, Present Mic and Midnight came, and they are relieved to see that Eri is okay, as Recovery Girl told the teachers that Eri will be fine after she uses her Quirk on the little girl, and there she asked where Midoriya went, slightly worried after learning what happened several minutes ago, and there Present Mic told Recovery Girl that Midoriya and Kendo went to the amusement park to have a little R & R, with Midnight waltzing seductively, saying that they are going on a date.
Recovery Girl face-palmed and asked the two teachers if they are sure about this as she felt that it is not a good time for them to do that, yet Midnight assured to her that the impromptu date between Midoriya and Kendo would help them in coping with what happened earlier, which Present Mic jokingly said that this would surely lead to the two teens doing something very romantic.
The teachers then noticed Eri looking surprised, and she innocently misunderstood about the conversation, in which she asked why Midoriya and Kendo would go on a date when they are MARRIED like what happened at the wedding booth during the school festival, and there she innocently wondered if Midoriya and Kendo are on a HONEYMOON and are going to MAKE A BABY, causing Togata, All Might and Recovery Girl to stare wide-eyed in surprise and immediately tried to correct what Eri is suspecting.
"Whoa-whoa…Eri...That's..."
"You got the wrong idea, Eri-shoujo…!"
"That's right…"
"?"
"Midoriya and Kendo are just going on a little excursion…yeah…right, All Might?"
"Yes…that's correct…!"
"You misunderstood, Eri…it's not what you think…"
"?"
Aizawa glared at Midnight and Present Mic, and whispered to his fellow teachers to stop making vaguely risqué comments as Eri is susceptible in misunderstanding things, which Midnight and Present Mic flashed PEACE SIGNS as Aizawa discreetly berated the two teachers.
"Next time think first before you spit something out…"
"Heh-heh-heh…"
"Heh-heh-heh…"
"We have an innocent child here that may cause her to jump to conclusions…"
"Heh-heh-heh…"
"Heh-heh-heh…"
"I mean it. So stop snickering."
"Heh-heh-heh…"
"Heh-heh-heh…"

At the amusement park, Midoriya and Kendo arrived, and as the two teens discussed about which rides would they take, some of the visitors recognize the two teens after seeing them on TV during the live broadcast of the UA Sports Festival, which they are amazed at seeing them in person, which they are actually high school students.
"Wow…"
"Look at that…"
"They're from UA Academy…just like how we saw them during the broadcast of the UA Sports Festival..."
"I can't believe that they're really teenagers…"
"Me neither…"
"And if you look closely…they really are…"
"You're right…"
"Yeah…"
Moreover, some of the visitors were fans of Kendo after seeing the UNERI commercial with Uwabami, and they were awed by her beauty and charm despite her TOMBOYISH aura, and seeing her chatting with Midoriya, they wondered if the two UA Academy students are dating or not.
"That's Kendo, right?"
"Look…"
"She's chatting with that boy…"
"He's from UA, right?"
"They look like they're dating…"
"Are they a couple…?"
"They looked so cute…"
"I bet they are dating for sure…"
Meanwhile, Midoriya blinked his eyes as Kendo suggested that they try the rollercoaster, and he sweat-dropped at seeing how high it was, and Kendo told Midoriya that it will be okay given that he got used to FLYING in the air when using Full Cowling, and there she playfully pulled him with her as they are heading to the ticket booth so as to make use of the unlimited pass given to them by Midnight.
"Don't be a chicken, Midoriya…"
"But…"
"You went airborne whenever you use your Quirk, right? So riding the rollercoaster should be a piece of cake…"
"Actually…"
"Come on…"
"W-wait…"
"Too late…no turning back…"
"Eeep…"
Some of the passing visitors giggled as they noticed a FIRED-UP Kendo persuading a rather nervous Midoriya to ride on the rollercoaster, which they wondered if Midoriya and Kendo are a romantic couple, which made them reminiscing their yesteryears and wished that they were teenagers again.
"Look at them…"
"Like a lovey-dovey couple…"
"Are they really dating…?"
"They look so cute together…"
"Makes me wish I was a teenager again…"
"Me too…"
"Too bad I'm already married…"
"Now I wish there was a fountain of youth…"
Moments later Kendo and Midoriya are riding the rollercoaster, and surprisingly, Midoriya got a bit nervous whilst Kendo is enjoying it, and after some five minutes the two teens got off and she felt satisfied while Midoriya was quite shaken, which she tried to cheer him up, as he is trying to get his bearings back, taking deep breaths and soon the two teens used the free pass to try out other rides, including:
- Bump cars
- Log Jam
- Horror Train
- Swinging Boat
- Octopus
- Flight Motion Simulator
- Carousel
- Go Kart
After that, the two teens came across the Ferris Wheel, and there Midoriya asks Kendo if she would like to try it, which she thought about it, and after a few seconds she decided to go for it, which Midoriya nodded and went to the ticket booth and showed their passes, and moments later both are inside one of the carriages and the Ferris Wheel began to move, and soon they are on top and could see several buildings from a distance as well as the numerous roads from afar.
Kendo smiled as she enjoyed it, which Midoriya also enjoyed, and there he accidentally commented that next time they should bring Eri along, which she agreed, as Eri would surely enjoy it once they come here again when they have the free time.
"Yeah, Midoriya…we should bring Eri with us…"
"I'm sure that she would be enjoying herself…too bad she had to stay at the hospital…"
"Its fine. There's a next time."
"Yeah…"
"Anyway Midoriya…huh?"
"…"
"Midoriya…?"
"…"
Suddenly Midoriya realized that Eri is still at the hospital, and felt sad as he recalled what happened earlier at the police station, and sensing it, Kendo sat beside him and cheered him up, reminding him that Eri will be okay as Aizawa and All Might, as well as Togata, are there, and even said that Recovery Girl would be there, though Kendo and Midoriya are unaware that Recovery Girl coincidentally went to the hospital and used her Quirk to help Eri, who is now physically recovered.
Midoriya slowly smiled as he realized that Kendo is right, and thanked her for cheering him up, which she nodded while smiling, and the two teens glanced at each other, before slowly getting into a trance, as attraction got to them, where they subconsciously lean towards one another and kissed each other on the lips, which made them get lost in bliss.
Midoriya and Kendo kissed for several seconds before the Ferris Wheel began to move again and the sudden movement snapped them back to reality, and both teens blushed upon realizing what they just did, yet they seemingly didn't mind it as the carriage they are in arrived at the ground, and both got off, where Kendo suggested to Midoriya that they should buy some food, which he nodded in agreement, as he too was feeling hungry.
"Um…Midoriya..."
"Yeah…?"
"Want to grab a bite…?"
"!"
"I'm kind of hungry…"
"Yeah, me too…"
"Shall we…?"
"Okay."
A few minutes later both teens are at a bench sitting while eating their food, and there she asked Midoriya if he is open about taking Eri here next time, which he nodded, and he asked Kendo if she would like to come along, which she blinked her eyes as he is inviting her to come along with Eri, and she smiled while nodding, feeling that the little girl would be happy to have a BIG SISTER tagging along with Midoriya.
Suddenly, someone was shouting for help, and turning around, Midoriya and Kendo saw a businessman was knocked to the ground as another person is running away, carrying a backpack whilst using his Quirk to knock other people aside, causing people to shriek as they were violently knocked back, colliding against the steel railings and hitting the ground.
"AAAAAIIIIIEEEE!"
"GGGGGYYYYYAAAHHH!"
"AAAAAAHHHH!"
"WWWWWAAAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAAIIIIIEEEE!"
"GGGGGYYYYYAAAHHH!"
"AAAAAAHHHH!"
"WWWWWAAAAAHHHH!"
Seeing this, Kendo and Midoriya got up and went after the culprit after seeing nearby medics helping the injured visitors, whilst the businessman pleaded for help, saying that the culprit took the backpack containing huge amount of money that would be used to pay his daughter's hospital bill.
Realizing what's at stake, Midoriya activated his Quirk's Full Cowling and went after the culprit, and there the culprit threw the backpack towards another person, showing that he has an accomplice, and the accomplice grabbed the backpack and went to another direction, prompting Kendo to go after him, as Midoriya chose to go after the culprit, where he did a spinning roundhouse kick and knocked him out before tying him up against a steel railing.
Meanwhile, as Kendo is about to grab the accomplice, he threw the backpack towards another accomplice, who quickly ran and boarded a motorcycle to make a quick getaway, and as the accomplice snickered as the second accomplice is making an escape, Midoriya showed up and told Kendo to secure the accomplice as he would go after the second accomplice, which Kendo nodded.
"Kendo!"
"Midoriya!"
"I'll go after him! You secure that guy!"
"Okay!"
"I'll be okay! See if there are any other culprits around!"
"Alright! Be careful, Midoriya!"
"You too!"
"…"
As Kendo secured the accomplice, security guards came and took over from here, and there she went to where Midoriya is, and the scene shifts to Midoriya chasing the motorcycle, and the second accomplice decided to try losing his pursuer, and made a turn and went to another direction, where he passed by a playground area where there are toddlers playing, and the accomplice decided to ram his way through, expecting that Midoriya would stop and help the toddlers.
Midoriya saw what's in front and realized what the accomplice is planning to do, and this made him livid seeing that the accomplice is willing to harm the innocent toddlers just to lose his pursuers, but then Kendo showed up and uses her BIG FISTS Quirk and swats the motorcycle, sending the vehicle and the driver careening towards a thick tree, knocking him down whilst Midoriya took the stolen backpack before confronting the dazed driver.
Midoriya was livid at what the second accomplice is intending to do, but Kendo managed to calm him down and assured to him that no one is hurt and the culprits are taken down, and moments later security guards and the police arrived, and fitted the suspect with Quirk-suppressing cuffs and took him, and his two accomplices away, just as the backpack's owner came.
He tearfully thanked Midoriya and Kendo for their help as the money it contain is meant to be used as payment for a heart transplant surgery as his daughter is undergoing emergency surgery, and the owner is revealed to be the owner of a five-star hotel that is near the amusement park, and he is due to meet with a heart surgeon who is passing here to receive the payment.
"Thank you! Thank you very much!"
"Ah, no…it's okay…"
"Yes, really. It's nothing…"
"No, I'm very grateful to you…"
"N-no…it's fine. Really."
"That's right…"
"I owe it to you kids…from the bottom of my heart…"
"Uh…"
"Well…"
The heart surgeon arrived along with his secretary, and after meeting with the businessman, he immediately instructed his secretary to have the money taken to the hospital to commence the transaction and told the businessman that his wife is already at the hospital, so he doesn't have to stress himself after what happened just now.
The businessman thanked the doctor, and then thanked Midoriya and Kendo for their help, but became surprised once he found out that the two teens are students of UA Academy, but in a surprise twist, a sudden downpour happened, and while the businessman managed to bring out his umbrella, the two teens weren't lucky as they don't have one and got drenched, thus their clothes got wet in the process.
Seeing the two teens' states, and wanting to express gratitude, the businessman, who is also the owner of a highly-popular five-star hotel that is near the amusement park, told Midoriya and Kendo to come with him to the hotel, saying that they would stay there while he would have their clothes go through the heater until they get dried, which the two first year students of UA Academy tried to politely decline, yet the businessman insisted, saying that this is the least he could do, and said that the two teens can't go while drenched as they could catch a cold and fever.
"No need to be modest. You two will be staying at the hotel that I owned. You can use a room while I'll have your clothes dried up. "
"Um…"
"But…"
"Please accept it. It would be bad if you catch a cold and fever. And in case the weather gets worse…you can spend the night…free of charge. I'll shoulder everything, including dinner and breakfast."
"W-well…if you insist…"
"Okay…"
"Do not worry. I'll speak to your teachers at UA Academy about your situation. Leave it to me."
"…"
"…"
Seeing that the businessman is so insistent, but realizing that he is right, Midoriya and Kendo reluctantly accepted as they went with the businessman as they boarded a taxi and head towards the five-star hotel which is near the amusement park.

Hope you liked this chapter, as a bit of comedy happened at the hospital courtesy of Eri who misunderstood the situation between Midoriya and Kendo, which the teachers and Togata tried to discreetly correct her…and romance, as Midoriya and Kendo went on an impromptu date at an amusement park, where they had some fun before getting cozy…
A little bit of action as Midoriya and Kendo did some unexpected hero-thing which helped a wealthy businessman regain the stolen money, and rewarded the two teens by letting them stay at a five-star hotel after a sudden heavy rain that drenched the two teens…
