Hunt For The Mystical Medals

My apologies for the late update. An unexpected situation happened in which my laptop developed a problem and subsequently CRASHED, and though I was able to save my files, the fanfics that I last saved were corrupted, and while the fanfics I've typed were among those saved, 50% of the progress was affected, hence I had to restart working on the chapters, hence I was unable to meet the deadline which the next update was supposed to be the last week of March.
So now I'm working on the next chapters and if this fic gets a review, I will have the next update ready. Now that I finished my explanation…time to get down to business…
Many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the current story arc picks up where the last chapter left, in which the Gunsmith Cats arc comes to a conclusion…now that Mezeru is back, ready to cause problems…
Meanwhile the Gunsmith Cats themselves are also making their exit…now that they have Musou back…

The scene shifts at a warehouse somewhere within the outskirts of Tokyo, where you can see a confrontation taking place, in which Ran and Shiho stood alongside the Gunsmith Cats and Misty while facing Goldie Musou, who appeared to act not like her usual self, which Ankh began screaming at her while outing her as a Greed possessing Musou's body, which made O's, Birth and Proto-Birth stare in surprise at what Ankh just said.
"Eh? Ankh..."
"Did I hear you correctly…?"
"A Greed is possessing that woman?"
"You heard me! I can tell! A Greed is possessing her! There's no doubt about it!"
"No way…"
"It can't be…"
"How…"
"Now then…stop hiding from that body and show yourself! Unless you want me to incinerate that body!"
As the three Kamen Riders are confronting Musou, something unexpected took place as the captive girls are convulsing before DISCHARGING Cell Medals, just as Ankh fired a fireball aimed at Musou, but then one of the guards stepped in and took the blast, incinerating him much to everyone's horror, and there Musou smirked as she went to a stockpile of Cell Medals where two blue-colored Core Medals dropped from her body.
The two Core Medals had the marking of a hammerhead shark and a squid engraved, and as the two Core Medals touched the Cell Medals, it quickly enveloped and began forming a body, and to O's horror, it is shown that Mezeru is revived and this caused Musou to collapse, which Misty immediately grabbed her and pulled her away as Mezeru feels energized after absorbing a lot of Cell Medals.
There she told O's and Ankh that she has been waiting for this and said that possessing Musou's body was rather convenient and now she needs to find the rest of her Core Medals before dealing with the likes of O's and Ankh, which she said that she now have no more need for covering up her existence.
She then demanded to O's and Ankh to hand over her Core Medals or else they are going to suffer the consequences yet Ankh rebuffed her threats, which did little to discourage her.
"Bah! You're not getting anything from us!"
"You sure act big though I'm baffled at how you partially regain your powers even though you are still in the form of a right arm…"
"Who cares? I'm going to dissolve you again!"
"Not this time, Ankh."
"…"
"I will get my medals back and kill you along with Os..."
"Grr…"
"Oh-ho-ho-ho…"
Clenching his fist, Ankh threw two Core Medals at O's and tells him to take down Mezeru, which O's nodded as he replaced the Gorilla and Girin medals with another two medals, which are blue-colored before scanner them with the Medal Scanner.
O-Driver: "SHAICHI…MEKAJIKI…CONDOR!"
O's assumed another sub-combo where his armor showed another display where his helmet has the design of a whale's head, his right wrist is covered in a gauntlet that resembled a swordfish's head while his boots have the appearance of a condor, and now he is joined by Birth and Proto-Birth, where O's is surprised to see that Gotoh is now a Kamen Rider, and there he told the two that they need to defeat Mezeru and they should not hold back.
"Guys…be ready…this is going to be a tough one."
"Right."
"Understood."
"We're going all-out."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
"Then unleash everything you got."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
Meanwhile, Ran, Ai Misty and the Gunsmith Cats help carry the unconscious Musou as they sneak out of the warehouse whilst the three Kamen Riders confront Mezeru, as she proclaimed that she will regain her Core Medals and become WHOLE again, and Ankh urges O's to destroy Mezeru before she gets the chance to escape.
"Kyuji! You better exert a lot of effort here!"
"Eh?"
"We can't afford to slip here! You got to kill her!"
"Ankh…you…"
"Kazari and Uva are one thing…Mezeru will surely cause us more trouble!"
"…"
"So rip out everything you got!"

Somewhere else, the scene shows that Kiyota Maki meet up with Kazari (who is currently in his human guise) inside a car, and using a Candroid they monitor the situation which they coincidentally saw Kyuji and the others entering the warehouse and witnessed Mezeru regaining her Greed body after using Musou's body to hoard a huge amount of Cell Medals and now she is going to take a risk facing three Kamen Riders at once.
Maki is quite intrigued as he wondered how Mezeru's Core Medals ended up in Musou's body and how long as she been doing this, whilst Kazari is smirking as he finds it entertaining and is intrigued about what Mezeru would do now, as she only has two Core Medals within her body.
"Now this is interesting…"
"You seemed to be intrigued, Kazari…"
"Of course. I had no idea that Mezeru's main Core Medal survived…and now she is going to make a huge risk fighting O's with only two Core Medals."
"Indeed."
"Now I wonder how she would pull off something like regaining her medals with three Kamen Riders facing her."
"Perhaps this would help me in gathering data…"
"Really?"
"Really."
Maki then toggles the laptop where the screen shows the Core Medals that belonged to Mezeru, which are:
- Shaichi x Unagi x Tako
- Shumokuzame x Akaei x Ika
- Kurage x Mekajiki x Datsu
Maki noted that Kyuji currently have three Core Medals of Mezuru, namely the Shaichi, Unagi and Tako medals, whilst also possessing the Mekajiki and Akaei Medals, and there the bespectacled scientist is intrigued as this is the first time O's would use that medal and is now eager to see what power it posses.
Kazari is also intrigued, as he wondered if Mezeru has enough power to regain her Core Medals given that she currently posses two and he looked forward to seeing what she can do to regain her powers believing that she is UNDERPOWERED because of her current condition, which Maki agree.
"Now I am really finding this scenario interesting…"
"You seemed to be enjoying yourself, Kazari…"
"Of course. I am going to see how this play out. With only two Core Medals, Mezeru is facing an uphill battle."
"Indeed."
"Now I wonder how she would pull off something like regaining her medals with three Kamen Riders facing her. I'd be impressed if she does something worth miraculous…"
"If something MIRACULOUS do happen…"
"Really?"
"Really."

Back inside the warehouse, O's went ahead and initiated the attack and attempted to get the first strike, using the Mekajiki Medal's power to get an advantage, and Mezeru narrowly avoided it as she realized that she is quite weakened due to having only two Core Medals inside her and her lack for body armor because of that.
She tried to use her hydraulic blasts but Birth and Proto-Birth attacked from the sides and blasted her back, sending the marine-based Greed careening against a crate, and she was rattled at the sudden attack, where O's uses the Mekajiki weapon and struck her chest, and she was smashed against the crate, wrecking it open.
Ankh stared wide-eyed as the wrecked crate revealed to contain several dozen Cell Medals, and told O's not to give Mezeru time to absorb them or she would temporarily get a power boost, and he tosses another of Mezeru's Core Medal at O's, which is the Akaei Medal, and O's realized what Ankh meant, seeing that Mezeru is close to the wrecked crate and the spilled contents.
"Kyuji!"
"Eh?"
"Use it!"
"…"
"Don't let her get the chance!"
"Okay, I understand!"
"Hurry!"
"I got it!"
As O's removed the Mekajiki Medal and is about to insert the Akaei Medal, several of the captive girls suddenly tackled O's, causing him to drop the two Core Medals, rolling towards Mezeru and she grabbed them, revealing that with the drug that Musou manufactured have been injected towards the captives, Mezeru now have verbal control over them and she also revealed that she secretly had the henchmen ingested the drug and they too are under the drug's control.
Mezeru then absorb the Mekajiki and Akaei Medals inside her body, and with four Core Medals, along with the Cell Medals she just absorbed, Mezeru strengthened significantly and regain most of her body armor, and there she directed the captive girls to assault the intruders, which the captive girls nodded obediently.
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
Then she commanded the armed henchmen, who are also under the drug's thrall, to attack as well, which they also nodded obediently as they are currently stripped of their free will.
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
"Yes, ma'am…"
O's is conflicted as he couldn't possibly attack the captive girls, but Birth and Proto-Birth told O's to go after Mezeru, saying that the two of them will deal with the captives and henchmen here, which O's asked if they can handle them, and the two men assured that they got the situation covered.
"We got this!"
"Leave them to us!"
"But…"
"Just go!"
"Take down Mezeru!"
"Guys…"
"Now go and defeat her!"
"Do it, Hino!"
Mezeru then decided to go after Ankh as she sensed that the Shaichi, Unagi and Tako Medals are in his possession and uses the distraction to force her way towards Ankh, and there she confronted him while threatening to kill him along with Shinichi's body if he doesn't surrender the three Core Medals.
Ankh was defiant and this made her irritated and unleashed her hydraulic blasts, and Ankh respond by unleashing a fire blasts, and the two blasts were dissipated upon contact, which Mezeru is surprised to see that Ankh has regained part of his power despite the fact that Ankh is currently revived as a right hand.
"What…?"
"Hmph."
"This can't be…!"
"…"
"How were you able to regain your power? You're just in a form of a right arm!"
"Got a problem?"
"No matter! I'll just kill you!"
"Come and try it!"
As O's join the fight, Ankh is forced to change tactic and gives him three Core Medals and O's inserted them while handing back the Shaichi and Condor Medals to Ankh before scanning them with the Medal Scanner.
O-Driver: "KUWAGATA…GORILLA…BATTA!"
Assuming a sub-combo, O's uses the stag beetle horns to unleash electrical attacks which struck Mezeru before he struck her with the Gorilla gauntlets, sending her reeling back but was unfazed due to absorbing a lot of Cell Medals, but seeing that she might risk losing them due to O's attacks, she decided to retreat for now and uses her willpower to force the Cell Medals inside the captive girls and guards to come out and merged together, forming the giant Tako Yummy.
As the captive girls and guards fell unconscious, the giant Tako Yummy began to recklessly attack everything in sight and Mezeru slipped away unnoticed as O's is joined by Birth and Proto-Birth, where the three Kamen Riders tried to weaken it, but the Yummy was too large, and Ankh thought carefully before deciding to give O's a Core Medal to substitute the Gorilla Medal, seeing that this is the only way.
"Kyuji!"
"Eh?"
"Use it!"
"This is…"
"Don't hesitate! This is the only way!"
"Okay, I understand!"
"Hurry!"
"I got it!"
Nodding, O's did so as he removed the Gorilla Medal and toss it to Ankh as he inserted the Kamakiri Medal and scans the three Core Medals with the Medal Scanner.
O-Scanner: "KUWAGATA…KAMAKIRI…BATTA! GATA-GATA- GATA-KIRI-BA… GATA-KIRI-BA!"
Assuming Gata-Kiri-Ba Combo, O's did not waste any time and performed the Gatakiriba Kick while Birth and Proto-Birth activated the Breast Cannons and fired a concentrated shot and managed to open a hole on the Yummy's body, and seeing this, O's duplicated itself into many versions of himself and went inside the hole of the monster's belly and began to attack it from inside, just like what he did before, while Birth and Proto-Birth continue firing the Yummy, helping O's weakening it, and within minutes the monster exploded, and rained several dozen Cell Medals, which Ankh absorbed a huge portion of it and strengthen himself while Birth uses a device to collect the rest.
O's came back and fell to the floor as he was weakened for using a full combo, and soon Ran and Ai came back inside, seeing what happened, and there Ran uses her phone to call the police while telling the others to leave to avoid suspicion.
Meanwhile, the Gunsmith Cats and Misty went to a hostel and when Musou regain consciousness, she was shocked after being told of what happened, especially when showed by the footage Minnie May showed after secretly recording the battle, and Musou is shaken at the thought of being possessed by a monster and causing the abduction of young innocent girls, and there the four females elected to leave Japan and return to the United States.

A few days later, the Gunsmith Cats, Misty and Musou return to the United States and parted ways in a truce, while back at Japan, Ran told Kyuji and Shiho that the kidnapped girls were given to their relatives yet the girls and the henchman have no recollection of what happened, which means that Mezeru is becoming a threat.
Gotoh resume his training in using the prototype Birth suit under Toudou's supervision whilst Kogami and Satonaka secretly observing them, whilst Maki and Kazari are discussing about what to do next now that Mezeru is back and regain some of her Core Medals.
