just so you know I write the plot first, things like structure and punctuation I will do after the story is done. I know some people get frustrated but I like having feedback as to plot points, so I can iron out the story elements before I go back and polish everything, I have put a little more thought into my grammar but story first, grammar second. If that bugs you just wait till I am done, I don't have a beta writer to do that for me so just try to ignore the problems and enjoy the story.

I do not own harry potter or DC, also I am not a professional writer, I am simply a fan writing a fic.

After meeting with Manhunter and accidentally scaring him (apparently people who could completely protect their minds appeared to not exist to the telepathic alien), Harry went through a few tests to see what powers he could use during a fight, the tests eventually grew too hard and he had to quit.

Street level thugs were not danger at all as he could easily transfigure them into small turtles, low power villains like Kiteman were also easily dealt with. Mid tier villains were a little harder as some had a resistance to magic, but Harry soon changed tactic and used the environment against them, for example turning the ground to mud, changing objects into animals to fight, or removing oxygen from the air so flame based powers were useless. The high tier supervillains were the biggest challenge as most were immune to magic due to their powers, Harry gave up during that test as he didn't really want to give away his full power and had avoided showing just how OP he was mainly due to the fact he thought he could be more help in other ways.

The next week was spent going on a few patrols, Gotham was a gothic masterpiece if a little depressing, Metropolis was bright and had much more room between buildings to fly in.

He hadn't seen Batman which was not a surprise, but had shocked Superman when they both stopped a robbery, apparently the man of steel had not heard about him turning over aquariums full of turtles to the police that later turned back into criminals.

Harry was shocked to discover that Earth had been invaded by the Thanagarians, and almost destroyed once or twice, he lamented just how out of touch magicals were and the good that they could have done in those situations.

Most of Harry's time was spent at the medical floors on the Watchtower, although the likes of Superman didn't really need attention due to being pretty much invulnerable, many of the street level heroes would come in after taking quite a beating and rescued civilians would also be brought in if local hospitals were full. Harry spent time helping out and observing, he was quite shocked when he found out that even though medical science used for the league was cutting edge, the magical healing was non existent and this was appalling to him, injuries which could be fixed overnight by potions (or pills) would take maybe weeks of painful recovery the non magical way.

He took a little trip to the area where the magically inclined heros lived and did a little research, he discovered that most of the magical heros were simply empowered by magic, they had a magic belt or staff or some other thing which granted them their powers but they could not use magic themselves.

The few heroes who could use magic were honestly too busy to spend their time healing, Dr Fate was empowered by the helmet and even though he could cast magic he was in fact a Lord of Order, a higher being, and had way too many responsibilities other than fighting crime.

Zatana used a complex form of computational magic invoked by speaking in reverse without pause, stutter, or mistake, but she was simply one person and although she did healing now and again her time was better spent elsewhere.

John Constantine used an inherited magical instinct to trick demons and gods into helping him, he did have a good array of magical spells and skills but not many could be used for healing and those that were came with too high a price.

After a few days the medical staff having seen Harry healing people better than they could he was asked if he had medical training, he informed them that he was a certified Potion Master in his culture, the equivalent of a head surgeon, although they were a little unsure about that his short but shocking track record spoke for itself.

He was supervised by various doctors as he treated injuries, they would watch him heal someone then perform many tests to make sure of the results. During one particularly grueling day with many injured heros and civilians one of the doctors joked that they could use a hospital full of magical healers, Harry smiled and told him he'd love to but he'd need the leaders of the league to sign off on it due to magical laws about setting up a private hospital dedicated to a specific group of people, and any non league patients would have to be asleep through the whole thing because some older laws were still being repealed, and even magical red tape moved slower than a limp snale.

"Really? all you need is to ask them? normal hospitals need a massive amount of capital to set up, wouldn't it be the same for a magical hospital?" the Doctor asked,

Harry laughed, "well capital isn't a problem, I do own a little company called Broken Pot Pharmaceuticals, I really should check and see how it's doing, but I don't think cash will be an issue, the guys who run it for me are very good at what they do," as he stood and went back to work he missed the bug eyed slack jawed look of his fellow Healer.

After his time in the hospital was done for the day he headed back to his room, after he entered a superhero name into the console in his room (he chose 'healer' as he needed a hero name and he couldn't come up with a good one) he climbed into his trunk apartment and after refilling his pills form his stores he slumped onto his bed and promptly passed out, at the desk in his room outside the trunk the console lit up showing a message.

Harry woke the next morning late as he had a free day and he really needed to rest, after getting cleaned up and dressed he apperated down to Metropolis. After chatting with the other magic users, Zatanna was always nice, Constantine was usually snarky and tended to swear every sentence, and Doctor Fate seemed aloof and cautious, he had altered how he performed apparition thanks to their advice, while on the surface it was pretty much the same but from the Watchtower he could reach anywhere in the world due to the much weaker magical resistance above the atmosphere.

Sat enjoying the nice weather and a cool glass of cola Harry was relaxing and waiting for his meal to be prepared, he was people watching. As his meal arrived the pretty waitress flirted slightly with him and then left him to enjoy his meal, the food was good and the view of the city was enjoyable, it was as he was about to order something sweet and decadent that his communicator beeped, he had a message. The leaders of the League wanted to meet.

Walking into the meeting room was intimidating, they were all there, Superman and Wonder Woman two of the most physically powerful beings on the planet, Flash a man who could move and think faster than light, Green Lantern an intergalactic police officer, Martian Manhunter the last of his kind, and Batman the most dangerous of them all.

It turned out to be much less stressful then he expected, after seeing how quickly John had healed due to the pills Harry had given him and the reports from the medical center they quickly agreed that having a magical hospital for the League was an excellent idea.

Having hsi confidence boosted by the meeting Harry spoke up,

"Ok than now on to something else important, I happen to know than none of you have come in for a check up," they all looked sheepish, "and as a healer I hereby request to be allowed to check you all for injuries that may need treatment,"

Wonder woman spoke up, "What will this involve? I would not be comfortable with removing my clothes in front of a man, even a doctor,"

"Um... I don't need you to remove anything, magical diagnosis doesn't work like that, I would simply need to look at you while wearing these," he held up the Med-E-Specs,

they all gave their consent, Batman grudgingly.

Superman and Martian Manhunter couldn't be examined due to not being human. John Stuart was in perfect health. Wonder Woman had minor muscle strain which Harry gave her a salve for.

"Flash, do you sometimes feel a deep ache in your right leg?" Harry asked,

slightly nervous Flash answered, "Yeah, now and again, why what is it?"

"you had a break and it healed incorrectly, I am assuming you didn't notice because you heal very rapidly, it is easy to fix, just make an appointment, it should only take an hour for you," Harry then turned to Batman and blanched,

"Batman, you are relieved of duty due to the fact there isn't a part of your body that isn't injured, and A FRACTURED SPINE! what the hell?! how are you still walking?"
