Hunt For The Mystical Medals

Many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here a new story arc takes place…and this will shake the plot foundation as Ankh takes the spotlight once more…and the villains here would be dragged in…especially with a NEW CHARACTER who is now the CENTER OF ATTENTION…

And now this is happening as Ankh and the Detective Conan gang are about to get into an encounter not only the Black Organization but also the one who seemingly has TIES with Ankh himself…

Gin and Vodka were baffled at what they are seeing, and before they would get the chance to question Vermouth, they noticed that Conankh ran towards Ankh and jumped forward, intending to mug his target but Ankh simply slapped him aside but Conankh was persistent, showing that he too has the same irritation as Ankh's.

As Ankh punched him back, Conankh glared and then his left monster hand detached itself from the body he is inhabiting and went towards Ankh, causing the latter to detach his right monster hand form from Shinichi's body, and the two monster hand forms clashed in the air, which Lager saw this and told Jin and Vodka while pointing at Shinichi's comatose body.

"Gin! Vodka! Look!"

"!"

"!"

"Isn't that…?"

"Aniki…that's…"

"Shinichi Kudo…"

"Look carefully…he's…"

"…"

"…"

As Lager pointed out, Gin and Vodka glanced at the floor, where Shinichi's comatose body laid, and the three Black Organization members were mystified as Shinichi's natural hair style and color reverted back to its original form, from spiky blond hair to black hair, and the there Black Organization members glanced at Vermouth, who is smirking as the two monster hand forms flew around clashing against one another.

Gin, Vodka and Lager approached Vermouth and asked what is going on here as they want to know why Shinichi Kudo is still alive when he is supposed to be dead after being force-fed with the APTX drug, yet she smiled alluringly instead of verbally replying, which Gin is getting impatient though Vodka and Lager urged her to tell them if she knows something.

"Vermouth…"

"Vermouth…"

"…"

"What's going on here?"

"Why is that kid still alive…?"

"…"

"Come on…tell us…"

"Do you know any if this…?"

Vermouth playfully winked while smirking, and Gin loses his cool and grabbed her by her collar, threatening to GIVE HER A PIECE OF HIS MIND if she doesn't answer his question, but Vodka and Lager held him back and urged him to calm down, saying that for now they should wait for her response while dealing with the two MONSTER HANDS and Shiho.

"Aniki!"

"Gin!"

"Let go! I need to get answers from this bitch!"

"Aniki…ease up!"

"Yeah…calm down!"

"But…"

"Please, aniki!"

"Be patient…"

Meanwhile, Kaitou Kid is hiding somewhere within the warehouse, having witnessed what occurred, and soon he is joined by Kogoro, who also witnessed what took place and was baffled by what he saw, and asked Kaitou Kid if he knows something, which the latter said that it would be best to ask Shiho about this as right now they have to stay hidden for the time being, and asked if Kogoro contacted Professor Agasa, which Kogoro said that he already have.

"Yes…I did as you suggested…"

"Thanks. Now...we should stay hidden for the time being…"

"Why?"

"We're facing a dangerous, organized crime syndicate…some of its members have connections with the Metropolitan Police Force…"

"Are you serious?"

"Yes. And once we get Shinichi and Shiho out of here you will soon find out why…"

The scene shifts back at Vermouth, as she decided to give her alibi, having no intention of revealing the actual situation, and claimed that the monster right hand possessed Shinichi's body, and somewhat NEUTRALIZED the effects of the APTX 4869 drug, hence Shinichi's body remained FUNCTIONAL, as long as Ankh's monster right hand PHYSICALLY possesses the teen's body.

Gin stared in disbelief at what he just heard, and Vodka readily agreed with Vermouth, reminding Gin how Ankh, who possessed Shinichi's body at that time, killed two members of the their sub-group and how Shinichi's body SUMMONED a right wing and fired a fireball, though Gin appeared to be in denial about Shinichi's body being possessed by a mystical creature in the form of a right hand.

"No way…"

"Well, I agree with what Vermouth said…"

"And you're going to believe that?"

"Yup."

"…"

"It explained how that monster hand possessing that teen killed two of our members…sprouted a wing and fired a fireball…you saw it as well, aniki…"

"…"

"…"

Suddenly, Shiho grabbed Vermouth by her collar and shook her hard, demanding to know what is she thinking, telling her that she is committing SUICIDE by working with a mystical creature, though Vermouth assured to her that she knows how to handle a Greed, shocking Shiho upon hearing that Vermouth knows about the Greed.

"What…what did you say…?"

"You heard me, Sherry."

"You…knew about the Greed?"

"And if I say yes?"

"…"

"What's the matter, Sherry?"

"You…"

"…"

Shiho appeared to be horrified by what Vermouth said, and asked her if she knows what she is doing, telling her that making a deal with the Greed is dangerous and that Vermouth herself would get killed if the Greed she CARING FOR would turn against her, yet Vermouth smugly assured that Conankh would not, saying that he is HER PET and that he has SHOWN AFFECTION to her, much to Shiho's disbelief.

"Affection? That Greed is just using you!"

"Well…for me it's the other way around…"

"What if that Greed turn against you? What if it decided to kill you?"

"Not happening."

"What…?"

"I have acquired Conankh's LOYALTY."

"You're crazy, Vermouth!"

"Am I...?"

Gin blinked his eyes at seeing Shiho's reaction, who looked horrified and exasperated at the same time, and Vodka noted that Shiho might know something, and suggested that they keep Shiho alive for now in order to get some information, saying that she seemed to know more about the Greed, which Gin reluctantly agreed to Vodka's suggestion, as he wanted to know if anyone else know about the Greed.

Suddenly, Conankh's monster left hand form swoops in and punched Shiho on her nose, BUSTING HER OPEN which sent her to the ground, before it possessed the cloned body of Conan Edogawa, and there Conankh grabbed Shiho by her collar, glaring menacingly as he raised his left hand, where his monster hand form is shown and is ready to land the fatal strike.

At this point Ankh swoops down and repossess Shinichi's comatose body, and gets up, where Gin, Vodka, Lager and the other Black Organization members stared in surprise, as Shinichi's hair SPIKES UP and changed its color from black to blonde, and there Ankh summoned his right wing and swats Conankh away, sending the other him careening against some wooden boxes.

The other Black Organization members are starting to get apprehensive after seeing this, and wondered if Vermouth proclaiming that Conankh as the Black Organization's TRUMP CARD is all talk and no action, fearing that the organization would be taken down in a blink of an eye.

"Damn…"

"Is Vermouth serious?"

"That kid is our trump card?"

"He looks weak…"

"Should we bail out…?"

"Lets wait a little longer…"

"Fine…"

"Okay…"

Suddenly, members of the Fortified Wine, Vermouth's sub-group of the Black Organization, came, and Vermouth approached them, as Port, Marsala and Vinsanto told Vermouth that they brought the PACKAGE that she REQUESTED, though they asked what would this do since they do not know the content, as it is shown that it was simply a box, though Vermouth said that the contents would come in handy.

"Oh, this would surely help."

"Huh?"

"What?"

"Really?"

"Yup. So observe what I'm about to do…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

As Conankh was thrown back, he was livid at being beaten up by Ankh, and there Vermouth called him out, as she said that he now has a chance to even the odds, as she opened the box which revealed the contents, as they turn out to be red-colored, bird-engraved Core Medals, causing Conankh to stare in desperation.

Shiho and Ankh saw this as well and the latter was more livid than before, as he couldn't believe that the rest of the bird-engraved Core Medals were in Vermouth's possession, but before Ankh could react, Vermouth threw the two Core Medals, the Peregrine and the Ahodori Medals, towards Conankh, and the latter absorbed the two Core Medals, and he hissed as mystical energy enveloped his body, and moments later, Conankh glared at Ankh, though he appeared to be the same.

Gin and Vodka wondered if nothing happened, as Conankh looked the same as before, though Vermouth confidently assured that the FUN has just began, baffling the two Black Organization members, and she did not lie as Conankh summoned a LEFT WING which mystically sprouts from the left side of his back, surprising even Lager, Korn, Chianti and Bock stare in awe and shock.

"Whoa…"

"What the…?"

"That boy…"

"He sprouted a wing…"

"No way…"

"Seriously?"

"Damn…"

"This better be good…"

Hope you liked this chapter as the situation and the plot thickens as Ankh and Conankh fought, and while Ankh has the initial advantage, the tide turned as Vermouth is revealed to be in possession of two of Ankh's Core Medals…and now Conankh is starting to rev up…
