Hunt For The Mystical Medals

Gin and Vodka stared wide-eyed in surprise and disbelief, as this is the first time seeing Kazari assuming his Greed form, and wondered if Conankh is up to the challenge and if he can live up to Anokata's expectations now that there is another Greed in their midst.

"Damn…"

"Aniki…"

"Is that…?"

"What is that?"

"Is it what I think it is…?"

"No way…"

"That guy's a Greed…!"

"!"

Maki remained stoic but composed, as he saw what Conankh did to the Puma Yummy, and noted that while seemingly on the same level as Ankh, he believed that if Conankh took Ankh's other Core Medals he would get stronger, and if given the right approach, Conankh might be an asset to his agenda.

Maki then tells Kazari not to drop his guard as he believed that Conankh is probably on the same level as O's and Ankh in terms of power, which Kazari assured that he is taking things in stride as he believed that he can take Conankh on.

"Kazari. Don't get overconfident. There's a possibility that Ankh's counterpart might be stronger than he look…"

"Don't worry. I got this."

"Just don't get carried away. We still don't know that Ankh's upper limit."

"Noted. Is it okay to go all-out a little…?"

"Fine. Just as long as it doesn't attract O's attention."

"Goodie. Now I get to play with another Greed besides Uva."

"Just don't let your guard down."

"Okay."

As the Puma Yummy recovered and stood beside Kazari, the two are poised to make their move while Conankh stood still and hissed, looking ready to retaliate, as the site became a tense as on one side, Doctor Maki stared and observe the scene, curious to know how strong Conankh is, as he sees this as an opportunity to get some data.

At the other side, the members of the Spirits and Fortified Wine group of the Black Organization are watching in curiosity, seeing that this is a good chance to see what Conankh can do now that he is facing Kazari and the Puma Yummy, in which Anokata would see this as a test to prove Conankh's mettle.

Vermouth's three subordinates watches on as Kazari and the Puma Yummy are slowly making their move whilst Conankh just stood there and not making his move, prompting the three females to ask Vermouth if this is okay, slightly worried that Conankh might get overwhelmed, though Vermouth smirked and assured her three subordinates that things are going well accordingly.

"Do not worry. Conankh will win."

"Eh?"

"Really?"

"Seriously?"

"Yes. Now watch and observe. You might learn something here."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Yes, ma'am."

The three females blinked their eyes seeing that Vermouth appeared confident as she stated that Conankh is their TRUMP CARD and said that if he managed to defeat Kazari and the Puma Yummy then it would give the Black Organization a propaganda victory as this would raise the organization's morale.

Ch. 159: Keikoku, gekisen, rihan part 3

As Maki watches on, Vermouth notice that the bespectacled scientist just stood there looking like he is unfazed, as he just stood there whilst his left forearm is slightly raised where his DOLL is sitting on Maki's arm, and driven by curiosity, she whispered to Port, Marsala and Vinsanto, instructing them to try apprehending Maki, reasoning that they might find some use in him if he is captured, which the three female subordinates nodded in acknowledgement.

"Once you find the chance, apprehend that man."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Make sure that Greed doesn't see you. Got that?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Yes, ma'am."

Likewise, Gin and Vodka overheard it and Vermouth whispered to Gin, requesting that they assist in capturing Maki, and Gin sighed in annoyance but relented as he instructed his Spirits stablemates to go assist Vermouth in capturing Maki, and the Spirits members nodded in acknowledgement.

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

Gin raised an eyebrow as he noticed that Maki stared at him while maintaining a stoic vibe, and doesn't feel threatened, which made Gin feel irritated, but Kazari stood in front of Maki, smirking which made Gin feel pissed, and there Kazari said that he overheard it and made it clear that Maki is not going with anyone else, which made Gin stare in surprise.

Kazari made his intentions clear as he fired a tornado-like blasts which prompted the Black Organization members to scamper in different directions, and there Conankh made his move as he summoned his left wing and fired several feather-like projectiles and struck the Puma Yummy, sending it careening backwards.

Maki saw it and feels that it is more than enough to tell that Conankh is not someone to tangle with, and whispered to Kazari that they should make a retreat, saying that it is about time that he makes his move and he would need Kazari's help in achieving his end-goals, and the feline Greed asked Maki if he is sure about his answer.

"Oh? So you found your resolve?"

"Yes."

"Let me remind you. If you go ahead there is no turning back."

"I already made my resolve…and there is no regret on my part."

"You sure? It'll be a long road…"

"I don't mind it…as long as it helps me achieve my goal."

"So I take it as a YES?"

"Yes."

Nodding, Kazari took out a Cell Medal and asked Maki if he would consent in spawning a Yummy out of him, which Maki nodded and said that as long as it would get them out of this predicament, which Kazari nodded and SLOTS the Cell Medal inside Maki's forehead, and moments later a mummy-like entity came out, and seconds later it MOLTED and became the Panda Yummy, where Kazari directed the Yummy to attack the Black Organization members.

Both the Spirits and Fortified Wine members stared wide-eyed seeing that another Yummy is spawned, and this made the Black Organization members backing away as the Panda Yummy is slowly approaching the targets while brandishing its claws, looking ready to attack.

"RRRRRAAAAHHHHH…"

"What the…?"

"Aniki!"

"Damn it…! Open fire!"

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

"Yes sir."

As Gin and the Spirits members opened fire and shoots the Yummy, they were flabbergasted seeing that the bullets weren't slowing it down as the Yummy slowly walked towards the targets, and Vodka was starting to panic whilst Gin asks Vermouth what happened to her PET, saying that now is a good time to get his help.

"Vermouth!"

"Yes…?"

"Where is your BOY?"

"As you can see…he's a little busy…"

"Great! Just when we need him the most…!"

"Oh, don't worry."

"Huh?"

"Conankh knows what to do…"

By then the Puma Yummy was thrown back and is reeling as Conankh is seen hovering in the sky before it flew downward performing his version of the Prominence Drop, and with its fiery aura Conankh took out the Puma Yummy as it exploded and reduced to Cell Medals, and there he turned around to see that the Spirits and Fortified Wine members are struggling to keep the Panda Yummy away from them.

There Conankh tackles the Panda Yummy and the two creatures began to brawl, which Vodka and the Spirits members are now cheering for Conankh, urging him to beat up the Panda Yummy to a pulp, feeling that they have been saved, and they continue to cheer on the bird-type Greed.

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

Meanwhile, Gin looked around and noticed that Maki and Kazari have escaped, which pissed him off, thought Vermouth smirked and said that it is okay as she has a feeling that they would appear again one day, and for now this is a good experience, as they get to see another Greed personally and showed that with Conankh, the Black Organization will not be intimidated by anyone.

Gin didn't like it but was forced to relent as he was assured that no one else would find out about the organization and there he watches on as Conankh fired several fireballs at the Panda Yummy, sending it careening back and is weakening to a degree, and this made Gin sighed in annoyance as he reluctantly chose to settle for this as Vodka and the Spirits members cheered on to Conankh.

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

With this, Conankh fired more successive blasts of fireballs before he flew up, then performed the Prominence Drop, hitting the Panda Yummy, who exploded in such fashion where the Yummy is reduced to Cell Medals, and there Conankh assumed his human guise and began absorbing the discarded Cell Medals, strengthening Conankh as Vodka and the Spirits members praises him even though Conankh appeared oblivious to the compliment.

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

"Go, Conankh!"

Doctor Maki and Kazari are now aware of Conankh's existence and are taking precautions…especially as Maki made a decision and there is no turning back for him after he and Kazari narrowly escaped capture from the Black Organization members…
