A/N: In these beginning author's notes, I will try and respond to comments the best I can. And in the future, I might put some at the end so I can explain the creative decisions I've made in the chapter.

DarkDremora: I completely agree with you on the pacing of the first chapter, as I'm horrible at introductions; as I don't really know what to write, so that's my fault. Also, Kallen's 'resolve' and 'acceptance' of going back in time is part of a bigger plot line that will take place later, so while yes, for now she does sort of just accept her situation, the reprecussions of time travel will come back later. As for using italics for thoughts, I'll try it in the future, but for right now, I'm more comfortable using he/she thought.

XxPistolgun: I'm glad you liked the idea of going back one year before the events of the story, I've got some interesting events planned for the next chapters, so hopefully, Ican execute them well.

tf330129: Thanks.

I will try to complete this story, with my schedule being a chapter Monday, Wednesday , and Friday, though that might change to Monday and Friday in the future. The pacing of this chapter should be better than the first, so let me know how it is through a comment, as I appreciate any valid criticisms.

Chapter 2: The Kozuki Resistance

Kallen tried desperately to hold in her excitement, but failed as it leaked through her voice, "Hey Naoto, how are you?"

The older Kozuki was taken aback by her tone, "I'm… fine?"

Before he could continue, his younger sister said, "Mom, do you want to talk?"

Kallen quickly passed the phone off to her mother, taking her by surprise, "Uh… hello? Naoto? Is that you?"

"I can save him," the young red head thought, "This time, I'll save him!"

After a few minutes, Ms. Kozuki returned the phone, saying, "He wants to talk to you"

"Kallen? Is there something wrong?" the older Kozuki asked

"Hey, Naoto," she said in a whisper, while walking into the next room, "Do you mind if I come over to the hideout? It's better if I tell you in person."
"Umm, sure? You still know where we are, right?"

"How could I forget?" Kallen thought, "Of course, I'll be there in an hour."

….

Donning her old resistance attire, Kallen arrived at the Shinjuku ghetto, still as dilapidated as she remembered it, with the only silver lining being her friends lived here. Though, she knew that wouldn't last much longer.

"Kallen!" called a familiar voice from within a collapsed building

"Ah, Ohgi!" she responded while heading inside, "Where's Naoto?"

"He's in our command room. He was about to give us a briefing on 'something big', as he described," he said while removing a few light pieces of rubble, revealing a rusted round hatch.

The duo made their way inside, and soon found themselves in a large, but empty room, save for a large table with a map and a few chairs. "Hey Kallen!" Tamaki called out, grabbing the rest of the cell's attention.

Naoto looked up from his map, and frantically began putting it away, "Oh hey, you're early. What did you want to talk about?"

Kallen took in a deep breath of the stuffy air, before saying, "I want to join you guys, and I'm not taking no for an answer."

"Kallen-"

However, before Naoto could respond, his little sister said, "I already said I'm not taking no for an answer. Do I know the risk? Yes, I do, but I'm fully prepared for combat, however, if you just want to send me on some supply missions, then I'll be okay with that. I just want to help."

This response didn't surprise Naoto in the slightest, but it did put him deep in thought, "Well… he did say that there would be no risk as long as we find the IFF… even still, I can't just risk her life on this…" he then said, "I need to make a call…"

Kallen watched as her older brother pulled out a yellow cell phone, and dial a number while entering another room.

"Speak," the voice on the other phone commanded deeply

"How's your progress on our present?" Naoto asked quietly

"My team is currently putting it together, you'll have your toy by Saturday. But…"

"But what?"

"You'll need someone who's good with computers," the voice finished, "And given the state of your crew, I think that's something you're lacking in."

The older Kozuki winced at the insult, but responded nonetheless, "Don't worry, I've already got someone in mind for that."

"Very good. I'll deliver the package Saturday at 12:00 pm, the usual spot. Is that good?"

"Yes… yes it is…"

Noticing Naoto's voice faltering, the voice asked, "Having second thoughts?"

"No, it's just… there's someone who really wants to be sent on this mission, but I don't have the heart to give them the okay."

The voice scoffed upon hearing what troubled the older Kozuki, and replied, "That's what has you in a bind? What ever happened to that heartless resistance member I met that day? The man who was ready to kill me on the spot despite helping him out of a pinch."

"You don't understand… this is different…"

"Different? It's a leap of faith, just like everything else!" the voiced boomed, "If you want to earn respect from your cell, then you'll send this person on your mission, prove to them a miracle can happen."

Naoto chuckled hysterically, "That's not the problem, I don't want this person joining my cell."

"If so… then allow them on this mission," this surprised the older Kozuki, but before he could respond, the voice continued, "Don't get me wrong, the only reason I say to let them join now, is because one day, they might join in on one of the bigger operations without your knowledge, and then, it'll be too late for you to protect them."

"I'll think about it…" the resistance leader replied hesitantly

"Good. I'll be hanging up now. Don't disappoint me.

With that, Naoto's phone began beeping, indicating the other line had been disconnected, "Should I really do this?" he thought while slumping against the door, "If she dies…"

It had been ten minutes since Naoto had entered that room, and now everyone was starting to get worried; the first to take action was Tamaki, as he knocked on the door forcefully, "Hey! Are you okay in there!?" he shouted

Suddenly, the door swung open, and out came their fearless leader, his hair ruffled up, as if he had been pulling at it for the past minute, "Everybody, please listen to what I have to say" he uttered with an eerie calmness while walking toward the table, where he left his now crumpled map.

He grabbed the map, and laid it flat on the table, causing everyone to gather in anticipation, "I heard from a reliable source that Britannia has recently dumped a Glasgow somewhere in a nearby Britannian scrapyard. We don't know what condition the machine's actually in, but judging off its appearance, if anything's wrong with it, it'll have to be something internal."

"So all of its limbs are intact?" Ohgi asked, "That's so… odd."

"If it's like that, then there's definitely something wrong with the systems," Naomi added

"That's precisely why we need a towtruck. Tamaki, can I trust you to provide us with one?"

"Oh yeah, don't worry about it! I'll have us one of those towtrucks lickety split!" the boisterous member responded with a thumbs up.

"Good. We have until Sunday, that's when the Salvage operators will come in, and take the Knightmare to a secure facility, where it will be turned into scrap." Naoto continued, "That's why… we'll be commencing this operation on Saturday. Naomi, Minami, you'll be in charge of stripping the Glasgow of it's IFF; Ohgi and… Kallen, you'll be in charge of the towtruck." the younger Kozuki pumped her fist in victory, only for her enthusiasm to be dashed by her older brother, "Don't get the wrong idea. You'll only be there to provide assistance if the Glasgow is inoperable. Though, that shouldn't be a problem, as my sources says it should be able to get out of the scrapyard just fine. Any questions?"

"Yeah, who's this source of yours anyway?" Tamaki jumped in

"I don't know his name, but… he saved me one time, so you don't need to worry about him backstabbing us." their leader explained

"Someone saved Naoto? I never knew about that!" Kallen thought, "Why didn't he tell me…"

As if reading her thoughts aloud, Nagata jumped in, "That doesn't really inspire much confidence. Do you mind telling us a bit more?"

Everyone turned to their leader with intense gazes, only for him to shoot it down with, "No, I can't. It's quite embarrassing, so I'd rather not relive the shame…" he lied

"There's no way I can tell them," he thought, "Not now at least… once he's proven to them that he's on our side, I'll reveal who he is."

"Does anyone have any more questions?"

Ohgi raised his hand quickly, "In the event that we have to bring in the towtruck, how're we going to get past security?"

"Security should be light, at most there'll probably be four guards total; two at the gate, and two roaming around with flashlights. They should pose no problem if you take them out."

"So why don't we just do that then?" Tamaki asked, "That way, we'll be able to take the Knightmare AND kill some Britannians in the process."

Naoto shook his head, rejecting the idea, "I don't want blood spilled on this operation, unless it's absolutely necessary. Those guards haven't done anything wrong, and are just doing their job."

"Done nothing wrong!?" Nagata exclaimed, "Their people enslaved us! Forcing our people to live in poverty, all because of their, 'the strong rule the weak' bullshit fallacy!" the rest of the cell, except for Kallen and Naoto, looked down in disgust and anger, "We should kill every one of those bastards!"

"That's enough!" Naoto boomed, taking control of the room instantly, "The Britannian people have nothing to do with our war, so we shouldn't just punish them for simply existing. If they choose to fight, then it's a different story." Everyone looked at their leader with shock, then he continued, "If we decide to kill every Britannian, dragging everyone, even children, into our conflict, then we'd be exactly the same as Britannia. Until they show active opposition to us, the Britannian civilians are innocent, much like our own people, who had been slaughtered during the war, for merely existing." he watched as his friends shifted anxiously after having their morals judged, that was until he met the blue eyes of his sister, who continued to stare at him unwavering by his speech, "Do you understand, Kallen?" he thought, "I hope you do… because your big brother doesn't want you to continue living life with such hatred."

"Naoto," Ohgi's said, breaking the silence, "We'll follow you to the end, for a free Japan."

The rest of the cell followed suit, looking toward their leader with new resolve, though, some of them still held hatred for Britannian's in general, if it was Naoto leading them, they'd push it aside, to fulfil his dream. "For a new Japan!" the older Kozuki shouted, holding his fist high into the air.

"For a new Japan!" everyone followed

After his glorious speech, Naoto decided it was time to take a break, that's when he was suddenly approached by his sister, "Hey Naoto, can I ask you a question?"

"If it's about who my source is, I'm sorry, but I can't tell anyone, not even you." he responded with a smile

"No, it's not that. I just need your opinion on something a bit more… serious…"

"Shoot." he said with a stern look

Kallen took in a deep breath, "Please don't laugh," she prayed before saying in a serious tone, "How do I… make friends?"

It took a few minutes for her older brother to comprehend what she just asked, but once he did, he burst out into laughter, drawing the attention of multiple resistance members who wrote it off as sibling banter. However, the younger Kozuki didn't like her brother laughing so hard, and punched him in the arm, to which he replied, "Sorry, sorry, but you said it in such a serious manner, I thought it was something bad. Did my speech really hit you that hard?"

"No way!" Kallen protested, "It's just… now that I'm actually going to school, I think it's about time I make friends

"Ah, mom did mention you were doing that now," Naoto responded while ruffling his sister's hair, "I'm proud of you for putting aside your hatred and actually getting an education."

"Just answer my question!" Kallen responded through a blush of embarrassment

"Okay, okay," her brother responded while retracting his hand, "Well, have you tried talking to them?"

"Yes, but it's… a bit difficult."

"How so?"

"Well, they don't really respond to me…"

"Ah, so she's one of those people," Naoto nodded, "Yeah, those people are difficult to get close to, but I promise you, once you gain their trust, you'll be best friends!" he said with a thumbs up, making Kallen visibly cringe, "Let's start off with what they like. Do you know any of their hobbies?"

"Umm… I think chess?"

"Chess? So she's smart, right? A textbook introvert if you ask me," her older brother followed up, "You should try playing chess against them. Don't worry about beating them, though, as this match is just to establish a connection."

"This feels kind of… manipulative, doesn't it?" Kallen thought as her brother continued

"And what about friends? Does she have any friends that could introduce you to her?"

Ignoring the pronouns Naoto was using, she responded, "Yeah, they're on the student council."

"Really? That's good, it means she already has a friend circle that you can join; once that happens…"

Kallen's big brother continued to talk on and on, however, it all blew over her head as she thought, "I still can't believe you're alive… it's so surreal… last time, I didn't really get to spend time with you, since I was so obsessed with killing Britannians, that I lost sight of what mattered. But now…" tears began to well in her eyes, catching her brother's attention, "Now… I can prevent that! After how Lelouch shrugged me off earlier, I thought there was no way to change the future… but if it's Naoto… then maybe he can change Lelouch's mind. Maybe he's the missing piece."

"Hey, Kallen, what's wrong?" Naoto asked while putting an arm on her shoulder

That's when his little sister suddenly gave him a hug, catching him off guard, "I love you, Naoto!"

The resistance leader was caught off-guard by the sudden affection, and replied, "I love you too, Kallen. But you do realize I'm not going anywhere, right? Saturday's mission is going to go off without a hitch, I promise!" his little sister retreated, wiping away the tears in her eyes with her shirt's sleeve, "by the way, what's the girl's name? The one you're trying to befriend"

This caused Kallen to laugh while retreating to the bunkers ladder, "His name's none of your concern!" she responded while quickly climbing out of their hideout, leaving a stunned Naoto with his mouth agape.

"WHAT!?" his voice rung throughout, stunning everyone in the base with how loud he was.

….

The next day…

"I don't know how Naoto died before, since Ohgi and the other's kept his death a secret from me for a while, all I know is his last words were, 'Ohgi, keep Kallen safe', so I guess, once he says that, I should rush in to help." Kallen thought while walking down the halls of Ashford Academy, "Then again, what if I can't? What if the situations too much? I don't have the Guren, and more importantly, I don't know when he dies, so I'll be caught off-guard no matter what." finally, she arrived at her destination: the Student Council Room. "At least one thing's going right today. I was called to the Student Council today through the intercom, and if things are going to follow the same trend…" she knocked on the door, "Then I should be joining the Council today."

"Come in~" a sweet voice rang from the other side of the door, upon entering, she saw three people, one was the ever friendly and boisterous Shirley Fenette, who was looking over some papers. The next was Milly Ashford, the Student Council President, staring at Kallen intently. The final person was Nina Einstein, who was too busy typing away on her computer to notice the red heads entrance.

"Good Morning Kallen, would you please take a seat in front of me," Milly said while pointing at the chair across from her

The Student Council Room was still as big as she remembered it, with a large wood table at the center, surrounded by various purple chairs, and a large white sofa on the side. Next to it, rested a desk with a computer, which Nina was using.

Kallen took a seat across from the president and asked in her Stadtfeld voice, "So, why did you call me?"

"Well, I've noticed, alongside my grandfather, that you've started attending class again, and we just wanted to know the state of your health." she said in an oddly serious manner.

Luckily for Kallen, she prepared a perfect lie for this exact scenario, "It's been good, especially after my doctor prescribed me some medication. He says it's supposed to rise my blood levels since I'm anemic…"

"Oh really? I'm sorry to hear that. But I must inform you that here at Ashford, you must join a club, so if you're planning on attending classes regularly, I'd suggest you join the Student Council, since it'll be easy on your health."

The red head nodded in understanding, "Thank you, I'd like that very much," however, on the inside, she thought, "Okay, now that I'm in the council, it should be way easier to talk to Lelouch now. I thought it over, and while Naoto's a good bet… that doesn't mean I should stop my attempts; for this, I need as much insurance as possible."

A wide grin was now plastered on the President's face as she said, "That's great! Then I think a celebration's in order!"

"Celebration?" Kallen mumbled

"Yep! It's to congratulate you on joining the student council! Although…" the red head watched as Milly's grin grew even wider, knowing that she was now coming up with a new scheme.

After seeing this, Kallen smiled, and thought, "I've missed this…"

"Ah! I've got it!" the blonde exclaimed, "Let's do a cross-dressers ball!"

"What?" Shirley, Kallen, and even Nina asked simultaneously

"I've been cooking up this idea for a while, and now I have the perfect excuse to execute it!"

"But… how does this celebrate my-"

Before Kallen could finish her sentence, Milly was already ready with an answer, and quite frankly, she couldn't wait as she was practically shaking while saying, "This way, we'll be able to introduce you to the rest of the council!"

"For some reason, I don't believe that…" Nina thought before returning to her 'project', praying that Milly would magically forget about her.

However, that clearly wasn't the case, "Niiiina~" the she-devil sang while wrapping her arms around the green-haired girl, "You think it's a good idea too, riiiiight?"

Now, if Nina was more of an extrovert, she might've been able to outright deny Milly's idea, however, that wasn't the case, as the green-haired girl was an introvert through and through. Combining that with the overwhelming pressure of a real extrovert like Milly, and unfortunately, our little introvert folded like laundry, "I… I think it's a great idea…" she meekly stated, surrendering to the power of peer pressure.

"See! What about you, Shirley?" Milly asked her next victim rhetorically, "Wouldn't you like to see Lulu, in a dress?" while putting extra emphasis on the word, Lulu.

"So that's what this is about?" Kallen thought while reminiscing on her time at the student council, "She always either tried to get embarrassing details or photos of Lelouch, as was such with her teasing mentality."

Regardless of her memories, she had to pretend to know nothing, "Who's Lulu?" she asked

"Oh, that would be the adorable little nickname for our Vice-President, Lelouch," Milly answered in a second, "Speak of which, where is he right now, Shirley?"

"He's probably out gambling again…" the orange-haired girl responded, "Wait… this isn't about him!" she protested, "If we're going to celebrate her induction into the council, we have to throw a party dedicated to her!"

"I know, that's why she'll be the judge!" the blonde responded fluidly, "We'll have a contest, where she'll choose whoever looks the best, and that person will have an entire photoshoot dedicated to them. Then, that photoshoot will be plastered all over a page in our yearbook!"

"What about the rest of the ball?" Shirley asked, trying to divert Milly's warpath, "Shouldn't that also have a page dedicated to it?"

However, the President was already too far gone, and Shirley's pitiful attempt was immediately shot down with, "That's right! So, we'll have an entire page dedicated to the ball itself, while another one is dedicated to the photoshoot!"

….

The next day came and everything was normal, Kallen was currently heading to Science class alongside her new friend, Shirley, "Honestly, I don't know how she did it!" the orange haired girl complained, "I know Madam President said she had been planning a Cross-Dressers ball for a while, but I didn't realize she had everything already practically set up!"

It's true, as the fact even surprised Kallen at the time, "To think she would everything ready by Friday is something else though…" she added.

"Yeah, it's almost like this ball was going to happen regardless of you joining or not!"

"That's probably the case…" Kallen thought, "I don't know much about the Cross-Dressers Ball, it was only through passing comments from Lelouch that gave me some inkling of its existence."

Upon entering the Science lab, Shirley and Kallen headed toward the table at the very back of the classroom, right behind where Lelouch and Rivalz were seated, "Did you see the look on that guys face after you beat him!" the blue-haired boy known as Rivalz said while mimicking a face, "It was priceless!"

"Ugh, I knew it," Shirley accused, "You two were gambling yesterday, huh?"

"Guilty as charged." Rivalz responded nonchalantly.

"You know, someday you guys are gonna go up against the wrong noble, and they surely won't take their loss lightly. They might seriously hurt you!"

With those words, Kallen remembered when that exact scenario happened to Lelouch; he had just beaten the Black King in chess fair and square, but to protect his pride, the sleazeball decided to attack the boy, attempting to silence him. If it weren't for the Black Knights at the time… who knows what would've happened to Lelouch…

"Hey, are you even listening!?" Shirley shouted at the raven-haired boy, who was calmly looking out the window.

Suddenly, a loud cough broke their conversation, drawing the student's attention to the front of the room, where their science teacher, Mr. Burns, stood with a scowl, "Miss Fenette, I would appreciate it if you took a seat, so I could begin class."

"Oh, I'm sorry," she said, before meekly taking a seat next to Kallen as the rest of the class stifled their laughter.

"Now then," Mr. Burns began, "As you all know, we've been studying basic aerodynamics, and how air can affect your speed, so that's why, I think it's time to test your knowledge," the entire class groaned in frustrations at those words, at least… they did until he continued, "For this next assignment, I want you to find a partner. And while I won't stop you from getting with your friends, I would prefer it if you instead chose someone who you know will help you succeed.

Of course, the last half of his announcement fell on deaf ears, as students immediately started crowding around their friends once they heard the phrase 'find a partner'.

"Hey Kallen," Shirley said with a nod

The red head then responded with a nod of her own, immediately understanding what she meant, "This should be interesting; I never got to do any of these group assignments since I was… sick last time. To make up for my missed days, I had to do online schoolwork, and while it was extremely easy, it was also incredibly boring."

Kallen on the other hand, had her eyes on one person, "Lelouch," she called in a gentle tone while he was getting swarmed by girls that were hoping to win his heart, "Do you wanna be my partner?"

"Okay, now that you've found a partner," Mr. Burns continued, "I want you to design and build a car that makes use of what you've learned about aerodynamics so far. This car will then be tested on a track, and depending on how far it goes, that will determine your grade. You will have a week to complete the car, but I expect your draft by Monday so that once we visit the workshop, you'll know what you're doing. Any questions?"

"So, what do you want to do?" Kallen asked her partner

Shirley was currently doodling two circles on her notebook, and then sighed, "I don't know… maybe we should try modeling our car off of one in real life…"

"Well… we don't really have to build a good car, right? It just has to go far enough to get a decent grade."

"Yeah… you're probably right…"

That's when the victorious laugh of Rivalz cut through their conversation, "So you girls are just gonna settle for the bare minimum?" he taunted, "I always knew you were a quitter, Shirley!"

"As if your ideas are any better!" the orange haired girl argued, "I bet you're just gonna grab a wood block and slide it down the track!"

This assumption from Shirley might've been right if it was just Rivalz she was insulting, but little did you know, he was teamed up with a genius, "Actually, I was thinking something like this," Lelouch said while flipping a page in his notebook, revealing a design for a sports car with a spoiler, one that looked to be modeled after a Ferrari 812 Superfast.

To say the girls were blown away by the design is an understatement, as both of their faces contorted into an exasperated expression, while shouting, "How are you even gonna build that!?"

Almost as if he was reading her mind, the boy responded, "It's simple really, all we'll have to do is take one of the model-"

However, before he could finish his sentence, Rivalz outstretched his hand, stopping the exiled Prince dead in his tracks, "Don't give away our plan so easily!"

"Model? A model… what could that mean?" Kallen thought before scanning the room, then her eyes landed on a poster with a red car on it, "A model… car?" she then turned to Shirley and said, "Shirley, let's head to the pharmacy after school."

"What for? Do you need to pick up some prescriptions?"

Kallen shook her head no, and said, "We're not going there for medicine" leaving her friend with a confused look.

School had just ended, and like Kallen promised, she dragged her to a pharmaceutical store called, 'Right aid', and now, they stood in the toy section staring at a carousel full of model cars, "Oh! That's what you meant. I forgot that they sold cute cars here," Shirley said while picking up a cop car.

"Yep, and you know what we're going to do with them, right?" Kallen asked while picking up a yellow Camaro

"Use them as inspiration for our own car?"
"Correct!" the red head responded while looking at a black Porsche

Shirley picked up another car off the rack and asked, "So… which one do you think we should choose? It can't be too complicated, otherwise, we won't be able to build it."

"You're right, let's stick with simple…"

"How about this one?" she asked while showing off the yellow Camaro, "It's got a pretty simple design, not too many grooves, and most importantly, no spoiler."

Her friend looked over the car intently, "I think it's perfect!" she said, "What color do you think we should get?"

"Does it really matter? We'll be able to paint our car whatever you want." the red head uttered blankly

"You simply don't get it!" shouted the orange haired girl, "We need to get a color that inspires us, that way, we know we'll be able to win!"

"That's great… but like I said, we can paint our car whatever we want…"

"Yeah, but how're we going to know what it looks like before we finish it? We should get two cars, each being different colors, so we can decide which looks best!"

Knowing she wasn't going to change her mind, Kallen responded, "Fine, we'll get two. How about this yellow one and…" she spun the rack around, sifting through the sea of yellow Camaro's until her gaze landed on a lone red Camaro, "This red one."

"Is that the last one!?" her friend exclaimed, "It's like it was destiny!"

Kallen sighed while walking toward the cashier as Shirley continued to talk about fate and destiny. She couldn't help it, Shirley was a romantic at heart, and she knew it. Anytime she'd watch a Romance movie, she'd continually complain about how the characters should 'just kiss already', yet when the moment actually happens, she cries. And whether those tears were of joy or sadness wasn't something Kallen knew the answer to, regardless, it was who Shirley was.

In fact, the Kozuki showed visible join once she found out her friend had survived the battle for Japan, and began hanging out with her often, however, after the red head decided to go to college, she lost contact with Shirley.

Kallen suddenly ran forward, confusing the orange haired girl who was still talking, "The sun's beginning to set, Shirley. Let's hurry back!" she shouted while running with the plastic bag that contained the two toy cars.

It took Shirley a few seconds to register what the red head had just said, but once she did, she went off, swiftly catching up to her friend, but their race was short-lived, as they soon separated, with Kallen taking a left turn toward the Stadtfeld Manor, and Shirley heading straight toward Ashford.

Today was a good day

However, things weren't going so well on the other side of the world…

"Brother… the sword of Akasha is…" the Emperor, Charles Zi Britannia muttered while standing on a floating plateau, surrounded by gold colored clouds.

"Yeah… I know…" a young blond boy known as V.V responded, "It's gone…"

The duo looked into the abyss where their grand weapon to kill god once stood, "Do you think?"

"I don't know…" V.V said, cutting off Charles before he could finish his sentence, "We have to find C.C, she's the only one who's been around long enough to know the answer to our questions… You. Guard. Tell me, have you any inkling on her whereabouts?"

"I'm sorry, Lord V.V, but our last report stated she was in Area Eleven, however… that was over seven years ago…" the Guard replied

The blond shot up, before turning around, "Dispatch a team to Area Eleven at once. Finding C.C is our top priority"

But, that idea was instantly shot down by Charles, who said, "I cannot allow you to do that."

"What do you mean? You're the Emperor, you're supposed to be able to do anything you please!" V.V quipped

"Brother, we already have her marked as a Class A felon," the Emperor lied, "Do you really think she'd be able to hide in Japan, despite the entire might of the Britannian military looking for her?"

V.V clenched his fist in anger, but still submitted regardless, "Very well. I'll hold off on my investigation… for now."

"Thank you very much," Charles responded with words dripping venom.
