Anna was playing with her new dinosaur toy as she ran throughout the room as if they are flying. "LET'S RAM THROUGH TREES!"

Cutter – Careful kiddo! I want my food in my tummy not on you.
Anna – Sorry Cutty!
Anna then looking a Dino toy, became curious...
Anna – Vallie, how do monsters start? Can you tell a story of this world!
Val almost misunderstood her initial line but luckily she got it now before blurting anything out.
Val – Well first off we're not alone on this planet, there are many others. Like ducks, bears, predators, sea monsters... our story started a long time ago. Now in University I read it was about.. Ah yeah Fourteen hundred years ago!
Back then the whole globe developed differently in each place as the planet slowly recovering from deep toxic pollution on land, sea and air...
Many wondered on where it came from… some even speculated that there was a technologically advanced civilization that was responsible for it, though many still are skeptical.
Anna – uhm what is techlogy?
Val – Ooouh right... okay listen, it's uhm... a better version of a mechanism. You know the clocks right?
Anna – OOUH Yeah! We have many back in Arendelle, especially one in a tower making sounds during holidays like Midsummer Parades!
Val – A parade? Good to hear you have fun there but let's first finish the story. Like I said many species were still emerging from the planet, going through evolution , growth... of course a bit differently than the rest. In our case, here our roots go back to two species : The mans and the mons.
The mans were strangely better armed, with many different tech- I mean mechanisms, that many try to discover to this day. The mons were uh...
Duncan – Primitive to say the least. No wonder they got kicked.
Anna – Let Vallie finish, Meany Dunk!
Duncan looks annoyed at Anna
Vallie – Now now let's be nice... So moving forward, at first they coexisted together just at a safe distance…
That was until the mons tried to befriend the mans who were also quite fat, wearing strange white and red clothes, but the failed as the mans saw the mons as hairy and smelly creatures who attract cockroaches and believed that the mons came from the toxic pollution so for their safety, they drove the mons into exile to sea full of crabs.
The mons swam until they came upon an island with fruits of unique properties that made them eventually bigger and scarier.
They returned to the mans land to get revenge for their forced expulsion… And so after that they also got revenge, and then a civil war... And so the traditional conflicts became frequent. Which left it's marks even today after years of evolution and revolution as the new generations of mans among the sea, chameleon and other monsters who have abilities to turn into what they once looked.
Strangely mans looked a lot like humans... which was disturbing to many, exactly why some of them aren't much liked above the surface...
She didn't mention the nasty things they'd done to each other during initial wars, mans skinned mons furs while mons ate man alive... If anything, they were all lucky that the bloodshed stopped when it did. Better late than never... The damage was done however, leaving scars to be coped with.
For as fun loving as Val is, she knew enough not to test Anna's heart with such details...
Val – That's what happened in short. If you wanna know more we'd have to visit that big tree site ourselves where all other info is. Plus some artifacts...
Anna can't say she understood everything, though what she did understood was confusing. Her papa's story was much more epic in comparison.
Anna – Fuu, who'd want to throw garbage into ocean where you swim? And is it so bad to be hairy?
Val – Well look at aunt Val here. Do I look bad to you?
Anna hugs her leg
Anna – No! You're fluffy!
Fritz – Aah warms my heart seeing a student like child here in the afternoon. Although I'm glad it's less hot today.
Val notices her holding a dino.
Val – You seem to like the toy Fritz gave you.
Anna – I love all my toys especially papa's Sir Jorgenbjorgen!
The one he gave Elsa...
Thinking back to Midsummer Parades, she thought back to Spring Fever when Elsa led the holiday riding atop a pony named Mr Waffles. That was one of those times they could spend with other kids in the village...
She now seemed a bit down...
Fritz – What's that little Annie? Why the long face?
Anna – I wanna play with someone out there...
Val and Fritz exchange glances, they knew what she meant.
Fritz – Ouh of course! You wanna have friends your size!
Anna nodded
Val – Uuhm I don't think this'll be a good idea...
Duncan – Not unless we want 2319 army coming our door again.
Cutter – Then all kid's need to do is not get busted is all.
Fritz – She can wear that suit we got here. Annie, you're lucky by the way, today we're gonna have little monsters visiting Monsters Inc and they also come... down here... Hah now that I think about it, we're gonna have to hide ya either way...
Anna – Aww but I wanna go out! It's boring in one place!
Val – Hmm yeah she got that right.
They took Anna with them, dressed a monster.
She then sees how it looks outside, it was an even bigger hall . Mostly all in blue colour.
A lot of monsters here too. All different, with tentacles, long noses, horns...
Fritz – Alright kids kids over here! C'mon get around! And prepare to have many of your monster minds blown wide open!
"Cool!"
"Yeah!"
"Is that safe?"
Looking through the hood mask, Anna could see 4 little kids :
One kid with 3 eyes and little horns 'How does it look from there like that I wonder? Triple the sight?'
One with long thin legs and big teeth.
One with had a single big eye only and was plus sized.
Last one had no legs and was pretty much a round ball, crawling like a snake.
Then she noticed another one joining them, she was a little octopus. A rather bored looking one.
"Wait where's Ty-Ty?"
Val – He can't miss his mini monsters day right? Now c'mon Annie greet them. MIFT style but be careful!
Anna did exactly that and ran up to them.
Anna – Hi everyone! I'm Anna Oldenburg! Hope we'll be friends!
"It's good to hear!"
"Me too!"
"How is it being in the MIFT?"
"Are you in working here too?"
Anna – Maybe, it is hot and boring being there for hours on end.
Thalia – Of that I'm sure.
Anna looked at Thalia, initially at her voice. Strangely I sounded a lot like her own.
Then approached her again "It's not all bad. You can have fun anywhere I you pit your heart and head to it!"
Thalia – Oh sure but my head tells me that fun isn't here.
Anna – Hmm you are not wrong. Oh and watch for the blue Yak coming our way. He can be scary.
She looks at Tylor
"Really? Then he'll make a good scarer right?"
"But I thought I'd see a jokester?"
Anna forgets that here being dreaded source of fear is still quite admirable.
Fritz – Jokester? No no no they're over there! But don't worry you'll get to spend time with us! The monsters facilities team!
"What's facilities?"
Anna – I don't know... maybe halls? Or mechanics?
"It's also another word for 'bathrooms'"
On that she giggles
"We're on a toilet team?"
Anna chuckles on that
"Wash away!"
Anna Thalia say in unison symmetrically with one difference being the tone.
Anna then noticed the one eyed kid Gurty looking down starts wailing
Anna – Hey there we have a whole day to have fun!
She's not much of a talker, she's shy.
Fritz – That's right! Gurty right? You don't have to worry either! You got a best boss around here before ya!
[VAL TO THALIA]
"Hi I'm Val Little!"
"Thalia Flint"
"We'll little miss Flint, I seen you and Anna got acquainted already! Together we're gonna get a great idea!"
Thalia – First, quite a name 'Oldenburg', you're not a native aren't you?
Anna nodded hands up "Nope I'm not. Surrender here!"
Thalia – That's what I thought. Second,a while day under ground with MIFT? Wooptie-doo.
She sounds more sarcastic.
Val – Seriously? Did you two pre-planned that answer or something? Well I'll make sure that Wooptie-doo turns into WOHOO before a day's end! C'mon little woop? A tiny... one?... Aww nuts.
[ANNA TO VAL]
Anna – She's just trying to bright up the mood. I mean, you look pretty off.
Thalia – And off I go since you're doing that just greatly.
Anna confused "We'll that's a bit mean"
She then overheard ball shaped kid saying "big guy with big horns! Hey Tylor! My name's Alexander! Word for A A A A YES! Well be best friends forever ever ever ever ever and ever forever!"
Anna – He looks talkative.
Alexander – Hey Edna!
Anna – It's Anna!
Alexander – Sure! Listen this is random but I wanna say it to someone! So as a friend, did you know that St some places stars in the sky could be fireflies on the ocean-like space? They are reaching out there there there and there further till you can't stop!
He does talk a LOT, this topic however isn't foreign to her. She wondered herself whenever she stargazer with her mother.
Anna – From where I cone from, they say stars to be ancient gods, fairies and Kings watching over us.
Alexander – Wohoa really?!
Anna – Yeah, well that's what they say. They also say that they are whole new worlds far away! That every world is connected by one huge sky!
Alexander – Woah don't know which one's cooler! Though both can work too! Surely more interesting than them simply being gas balls exploding multiple miles away!
She then overheard Tylor wanting to go with Thalia, to this Anna looked skeptical. 'What ideas does he hold for her?' No idea, let's see.
She thought about that when they were going down in basement with that 'elevating corridor'.
She didn't like being in small closed room that moves up and down, especially with that big eye that they pass by.
Now it's also overcrowded a bit.
The monster kids have to stay here for 9 hours so let's enjoy time together!
Anna was determined to get that smile on Thalia's face, she made Elsa laugh, she can make Thalia laugh too!

"Yeah... Elsa..."
Unnoticed by anyone, strands of her hair were whitening again...
Luckily she slapped herself out of it. "No no no no, we don't need TWO gloomies here"
[THALIA TO ANNA]
Thalia – This desk seems small enough for you , but for this blue Yak as you put it?
Tylor – Wha? Yak? No this isn't mine! It's temporarily mine! Funny story is that I was originally a scarer-
Thalia – And now you aren't and should go to my mom's office.
He kept talking nonstop while she noticed Anna eyeing her.
Thalia – What is it with you? First is this MIFTER, now you?
Anna – I wanna befriend you Thaliheim!
Thalia – Nicknaming a stranger? Seriously, we barely know each other?
Tylor – Well think of us as your uhm fun uncle and close cousin?
Thalia – Had one uncle like that. He's dead now. And my cousin? Won't visit me. Thinks time spending with me isn't exciting.
Anna – Aaahah well that's just rude. I'll prove her wrong! I don't look at you like that, you just need a mood boost!
Thalia sighs at that indicating her pessimism.
Her mood sure switched along with others when they had to look for one of the missing children lost around the basements or 'bathrooms'.
Cutter – Oh well let's spread out and find that kid.
Thalia – Shouldn't we call for security?
Anna – Well no need for that, he's way over there!
They all saw him hanging by one of the doors going through holes in the walls.
They of course gone after him through the shafs, seperated.
Tylor, Anna, Thalia took DB-S direction. Ana feels awesome riding on this transport chair. Would've been better when they don't need to search a lost kid.
Tylor – Keep your eyes open! See him, say it!
There were many doors flowing out, gotta pay close attention!
Tylor's lantern shines through luckily and we saw a kid on one blue door going the opposite way.
Thalia – There there! We missed him!
Thalia almost had her head or eyes flying off of her had Tylor not pulled her back in.
Tylor – Careful! Our job may be dull here but it can be deadly too!
Anna had to admit, Tylor isn't as scary now.
What was scary though is that they were unknowingly on a collision course with Val's transport and they didn't stop!
Val and Tylor push all buttons simultaneously In panic.
Anna, Thalia, Alexander all yell out in shock, fear and strangely fun(??) before the two transports began circling around, making them feel a bit dizzy.
All while that orange kid nearly got levelled in that bashing machine. They hurried to get that kid off, and they did though it required Anna and Thalia to occupy the controls for time. Again a lit of spinning and circling!
The overall trip through the basements was dangerous yet exciting misadventure, and everyone's now safe and sound. With their heads in place.
Tylor was back to jokes after that. Thalia not impressed as before.
Fritz was giving cooler Droolers while Anna sits between Alexander and Thalia, getting to know them better.
Thalia also gets interested in her she's sure of it.
Thalia – Anna ...you're different aren't you?
Anna – I'm glad to hear that my new bestie!
Thalia – What? No, no I meant that when we've been riding around there, I've seen your head blown off ... this isn't how you look?
Anna fell silent on that, looks like her cover is busted. What should she do? Maybe tell her? She won't tell anyone would she?
Sge then however looks past her, hearing wining from Tylor.
"I try all that I can and she's all just 'NOTHING'! My last chance for clown job -I mean jokester job is gone. She knows it's her mother's fault?! She can go tell her mom that it's HER that is the un-funny one around here!"
Offended and feeling hurt, she stormed off out the entrance to do just that to her mother.
Tylor – Anna I don't have time for this! I'm going after her!
Anna – You'll take me with you if you don't want me mad! She's my bestie too! LOOK OUT WET FLOOR!
Tylor – WET FLOOR!?
Tylor's truck then start spinning around AGAIN before crashing into food lot with all of it over their bodies.
Funnily Tylor began fooling around with that and instead got everyone laughing including Thalia.
Anna was glad to see that, she was also glad to eat ice cream and candies she found lying there.
Except while she was eating, with her hoodie off, her face was visible... And Thalia saw her.
She saw her eyes noticing her before she put it back on.
Tylor approached her "Listen, I'm sorry... It was wrong for me to use you for getting your mothers approval... and I shouldn't have been like that to you...
Thalia – Apology accepted... And, I knew... about your intent. You're not the first one to do so, but you ARE the first one to admit it...
Fist bumps "Respect!"
While they shook hands of reconciliation, she looks at Anna as they had to go back.
"Anna" Thalia didn't take her eyes off her.
"She is a human!"
Tylor sweats "Uhm no why?"
Thalia – You barely humoured me Tuskmon, and you'll barely fool me. Plus not the first incident, same thing happened weeks ago. Not to mention the whole Child Labour Law remember?
Anna said nothing for a moment, unsure.
Thalia – Anna, didn't you call me a bestie?... Am I allowed to see my friend's face?
Anna looks at her, eyes glimmering "Pinkie promise?"
Anna and Thalia cross index fingers.
Thalia - ... Yes, promise Annabelle.
Anna – Okay then, good nickname!
Tylor – Let's first go to elevator, don't worry that eye won't tell anyone.
Once in the elevator, Anna took off her hood, showing Thalia a little human girl with red hair.
Thalia – Huh you know mom used to caution me that humans are a contamination... but you aren't all that...
Anna – I know, it's honestly hard to see from here at times.
Referring to her outfit.
Tylor – Thalia can you not tell this to anyone?
Thalia – Hmm not even mom right?
Anna hugs her "Pretty pleewase?"
Thalia - *giggles* Ah okay, pinkie promise Anabelle. You know you're first one my size who really wants to be my friend, best friends even... Thanks "
Anna hugs her tight "Vaersågod Thaliheim! ('You're welcome Thaliheim!')
Thalia – OK not too tight.
Once back the mini monster day was over, Thalia, Alexander, Gurty and other two went back to their parents with Anna hoping to see them more later.
LATER AT MIKE'S COMEDY CLASS
Taylor had to attend comedy classes with Anna defiantly following him suit. She was surprisingly sneaky, he didn't notice her before entry.
Tylor – Anna what's up with you today? You can't just go after me all around just because you dislike me.
Anna – No no I...I just don't think like that anymore. You aren't bad, I think you're a good monster too. And wanted to see where you're going. Remember I said, not too long in one place?
Tylor - *sighs* But I... I... just don't make a noise okay? And yeah... I don't hate you just so you know. You, Thalia... Those kids... you are all good just with their own oddities.
Mike – Bringing a kid to class, Tuskmon? Usually normal, unusual here.
Anna – Please don't punish him Mr... ballski?
Mike – It's WAZOWSKI! MIKE WAZOWSKI! You know Michael!
Anna – Aaah! One of my uncles is also Michael! Can I please stay?
Sully – Well we can make an exception on this one . C'mon "Michael", stage's on!
Mike – Okay okay you can stay, you're at least safer than that bitting baby Smitty. Since you're here he may as well show you a sacred show-business relationship! A pairing there with a straight man and a goof ball!
He definitely made Anna laugh with how his lecture concluded in the end.
It is laughter we are after after all.
1. You see there are things about mons/mans war that in monster world may not be exposed. There were some robots involved in that conflict. I'll leave it with you to figure out what I mean.
2. Thalia is voiced by Hadley Gannaway, the daughter of series developer Bobs Gannaway. After Hadley played young Anna in Frozen II, she's also played Thalia in this show. The only monster that Thalia seems friendly with is Otis. This is most likely because Otis is voiced by Bobs.
