(Hey readers, sorry this took awhile to drop. I finished this a week and a half ago, but after a bit of re-reading I felt that somethings here wouldn't work in the future and would hit a dead-end, so I decided to scrap and redo.)

Chapter 9: YSD vs LDS
It was currently night now, so nobody was around to see a bright light coming from an alleyway. From the light came Yuto covering his eyes with his arm. After it died down, Yuto looked around and, to his surprise, saw he was no longer at the docks.
"W-What the?" Yuto asked himself. "What happened? How did I…?"
He remembered he was standing in the warehouse with the girl that looked like Ruri and a guy that had his face.
"Was it a trick after all?" Yuto muttered.
He then felt something in his hands. Looking down Yuto sees the letter his look-a-like gave him before ending up here. Yuto was half tempted to toss it but decided to at least open it up to read it.
Dear Yuto
I hope that you're the one reading this letter and not someone else if you thought this was a trick and ditched it. I still plan to tell you everything about what's going on as promised, it's just that wouldn't be until later due to what just happened. Yes, I knew you would be teleported somewhere else, and I will also tell you why and how. I have put the address of my current residence at the bottom of the page. I also know you didn't come alone to this dimension, so find them and bring them with you. There's more to this war then what any of you thought.
Zack Hikari.
Yuto looked up and thought about what he read.
'Zack Hikari… just who are you?' Yuto thought.
He looked at the bottom to see the address, only for him to freeze and eyes to widened in shock.

Ruri is okay and no longer a captive of Academia.
Yuto simply stared at the footnote and reread it a few times, as if it a figment of his mind. It did not change in the slightest.
"Does that mean… Ruri is here after all…?" Yuto questioned. "I have to find the others!"
With that, Yuto immediately ran down the street to find his friends.
Back with Zack and the others, they agreed to head home for the night. After parting ways with Yuya and Yuzu, Zack told the sisters about what happened.
"Yuto is here?!" Ruri asked in surprise.
"That's right." Zack said with a nod. "He probably thought Yuzu was you."
"She was lucky." Serena said. "Pricks like them think that with money and connections, they can get away with anything."
"Preach it sister." Rin agreed.
If anyone knows about the rich using money and connections for their own greed, it's Rin. That's basically the Synchro Dimension as a whole.
"So where was he when we arrived?" Serena asked.
"Yuzu's bracelet kicked in and teleported him away before you all, or rather Yuya, arrived." Zack explained. "I was able to give him a letter just before that happened though."
"A letter?" Rin asked.
"Yeah." Zack said. "It had our address on it so he and how many friends that came with him can find us so we can talk."
"Don't you know who came with him?" Zarc asked.
(I do, but after the OG Duel Monsters gang showed up I don't want to assume anything.) Zack answered. (Plus, that almost possible incident with Yuzu back at the docks never happened either. Granted the show was for a younger audience, but still.)
"Meaning we can't always trust your prior knowledge." Zarc said.
(Right, somethings might play out how their suppose to, but there might be a curve ball thrown in from time to time.) Zack said. (Just gotta stay vigilant.)
Zack then noticed Ruri hadn't said anything yet. Glancing over, he saw she had a worried look on her face.
'Does that mean others are as well like Onii-san.' Ruri thought. 'I hope so, but Yuto… I don't know if I can…'
She snapped out of her thought when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Looking up, Ruri saw Zacks face.
"It's okay." Zack said with a soft smile. "You won't have to be alone."
Ruri gained a blush as she looked away.
"T-Thank you, Zack." Ruri said with a smile.
Rin saw that and smirked before latching onto Zack, putting his arm between her breasts.
"That's our hero for you!" Rin said. "Always making sure we're okay!"
"R-Rin!" Zack stuttered with a blush.
"What's wrong?" Rin asked with a pout. "Can't I give praise when it's deserved?"
Zack couldn't say anything and simply looked forwards. Rin turned towards Serena and gave her a wink. The fusion user just rolled her eyes.
'Guess Zack does have feelings for the others too.' Serena thought. 'We'll just have to see about Yuzu though.'
Yesterday, while the sisters had their talk about her boyfriend, they made an agreement. If he showed signs of feelings for Ruri and Rin, they would tell him at some point and see if he was okay with the idea of a harem, same thing for Yuzu. Soon they reached their home and had a nice dinner made by Ruri, which Zack complimented making Ruri blush. Afterwards they went to bed, well the girls did, where's Zack was still up preparing his deck for tomorrow. He had swapped some cards out from his own collection and the case that Reiji had given them.
"Alright, this should do it." Zack muttered to himself.
"Is something big coming up?" Zarc asked.
"In a way." Zack answered. "Tomorrow Reiji's mom flies in after some business deal and is caught up about everything that's happened up until this point. He's also probably going to tell her about me and the girls too. She'll then go see Sawatari, who got "gravely injured" in his duel against Yuto and use that as an excuse to try and hassle YSD into gaining ownership over Pendulum Summoning. Which will lead to a 3v3 duel against us and them but will end in a tie leading to a tiebreaker match."
"And you plan on taking part." Zarc stated rather then asked.
"Yup, considering if I don't then Yuya will end up dueling twice." Zack explained. "This way, he'll only need to duel where it counts. I'll also be able to give that woman a piece of my mind."
"Not a fan of hers?" Zarc asked.
"When you see her, you'll understand." Zack simply said before heading for bed.
The next day, everyone was at YSD, and they were learning about summoning. This was mostly for the kids (and maybe for Jonouchi and Tristin).
"Everything will be ready soon kids." Skip said. "Just got to fix the projector."
"They really need new things." Serena sighed.
"it's not their fault." Ruri said. "Skip doesn't have the money to buy new things and has to use hand-me downs."
"If it ain't broke, use it." Rin said. "That's how it is back home. Plus, if something is broken, there's plenty of parts to fix it. Just need to know where to look for them."
While the sisters were talking, Zack was looking around.
"Has anyone seen Yuzu yet?" Zack asked.
"Now that you mention it…" Anzu started to speak.
"Not really, no." Sora said.
"If Skip is here's then she should be too." Jonouchi said.
"But where?" Yugi asked.
"I'll go look for her." Zack said as he made his way to the door.
While walking around the school, he heard something. Following the noise, Zack found Yuzu sitting on the stairs crying.
"Yuzu?" Zack asked.
Gasping, Yuzu turned her head up.
"Yuya?!" Yuzu exclaimed. "No… Zack. Sorry I thought…"
"Don't worry." Zack said as he sat beside her. "I kinda figured people would be getting us mixed up time to time. So, what's wrong?"
"What makes you think somethings wrong?" Yuzu asked with a bit of heat.
"I followed the sounds of your crying." he answered. "And I know you were fine when parting ways last night."
Yuzu said nothing and turned away, facing the wall.
"Come on." Zack urged. "Talking about things is always better then bottling them up."
"…Last night, Yuya and I talked." Yuzu started to speak.
(Flashback)
After parting ways with Zack and the sisters, Yuya and Yuzu made their way to Yuzu's home because Yuya wanted to make sure she made it safely. There was nothing said between them, as Yuzu didn't want to bring up Yuto. Soon they reached her home.
"Well, here we are." Yuya said.
"Thank you for this Yuya." Yuzu said with a smile. "You didn't need to."
"After what happened, I wanted to be sure." Yuya said.
Yuzu blushed at his words.
"Well… goodnight." Yuzu said as headed to the door.
Yuya was about to walk away but stopped and looked at the girl.
"Yuzu wait." Yuya said.
Yuzu turned back to Yuya in confusion.
"What is it?" she asked.
"After you left to get the ice-cream, I had a talk with Zack." Yuya said. "And during it, he told me about your crush on me."
"W-What?!" Yuzu gasped with a blush. "H-How did he know?"
"He said a duelist is observant both on and off the field." Yuya shrugged. "Also, that I was a "Dense Protag" or something and that I should think about my feelings for you."
There was an awkward silence between them.
"S-So…" Yuzu stuttered. "How do you feel… about me?"
Yuya looks at the ground before looking back at Yuzu.
"Honestly, I didn't really know what to feel at the time." Yuya said. "But when Ayu came back and told us what happened, I was scared."
"You were?" Yuzu asked.
"After my dad disappeared and the other kids started picking on me, you were one of the few who helped me through it." Yuya said.
"Yuya…" Yuzu said with a blush, her heart beating faster.
"That's why Yuzu… I love you." Yuya said.
Yuzu was happy as the boy said those words.
"But as family." Yuya continued.
(Cue glass shattering sound effect)
"N-Nani…?" she asked.
"I know you like me Yuzu, however I see you more as a sister." Yuya admitted. "I'm sorry but that's what my heart is telling me. I felt that I should at least tell you since it wouldn't have been fair to you if I didn't."
Yuzu couldn't say anything as her heart was breaking in pieces.
"I'll go now." Yuya said as he turned to walk away. "Goodnight Yuzu."
All the heart broken girl could do was watch him leave. After the boy was out of sight, Yuzu walked up to her room and cried her eyes out on her bed.
(End Flashback)
"Wow…" Zack said after hearing her story.
"Oof." Zarc cringed. "That's gotta sting."
"I'm so sorry Yuzu." Zack apologized. "I thought that Yuya had feelings for you. Well… other types of feelings."
"*sniff*It's okay Zack." Yuzu said as she dried her tears.
There was a bit of a respectable silence between them.
"Do you want me to get you anything?" Zack asked.
The girl just shook her head.
"Do you want to be alone for a while?" Zack asked.
She nodded.
"Alright." Zack said was he stood up. "But if you need anything just let me know. Even if it's a shoulder to cry on. I promise too always be there for you."
"Thank you, Zack." Yuzu said with a small smile.
Soon Zack made his way back to the others but had no intention of leaving Yuzu by herself. He just wasn't the right person she needed. After entering the room, Zack made his way over to the sisters.
"Did you find her?" Serena asked.
"I did." Zack answered. "She's by the stairwell on the left side. She wanted to talk to you 3 about something important."
Serena, Ruri and Rin looked at each other in confusion.
"What about?" Rin asked.
"Girl stuff." Zack said with a shrug.
Seeing that as a good enough answer, they left. It didn't take them long to find the stairwell.
"Hey Yuzu." Serena spoke up. "Zack said you wanted to talk about some…thing…"
The Dimensional girls looked at their final sister in shock, seeing her teared stained face as she had begun to cry again after Zack had left as Yuzu looked back at them in surprise herself.
"Yuzu!" Rin gasped.
"What's wrong?" Ruri asked, worried.
The 2 sat on opposite sides of Yuzu, while Serena sat behind them.
"Serena, Ruri and Rin." Yuzu said. "What are you 3 doing here?"
"Like I said, Zack told us you wanted to talk about something." Serena answered. "But I'm starting to think that was his subtle way of having us see you without letting the others know."
"Zack did that… for me?" Yuzu asked.
"What happened?" Rin asked. "You seemed fine when we split off yesterday."
Yuzu retold the story again. At the end of it, she found herself being hugged by the 3 of them.
"Oh Yuzu…" Ruri said.
"We're sorry." Rin said.
"Who does that punk think he is." Serena growled. "He could've at least waited until morning after what you went through."
"Thanks girls." Yuzu said.
"Thank Zack." Serena said.
"He always seems to know just how to help people around him." Rin said with a giggle.
Yuzu looks down in thought.
'Even though you knew I wanted to be alone, you made sure I wasn't.' Yuzu thought with both a small smile and blush. 'Thank you, Zack.'
"We should head back to the others." Ruri said was she stood up. "Your dad is probably done with fixing the projector by know."
Making their way back, they entered the room just in time for Skip's lesson. As everyone took their seats, Yuzu and Zack caught each other's attention. She gave him a grateful nod. Zack smiled and gave her a wink. Yuzu looked away with a light blush.
"Today's lesson is about dueling's various summoning methods." Skip announced. "First is Normal Summon. This is the most basic summoning method where you take a monster Leveled 1–4 from your hand and place it faceup in attack position on the field. Next is Tribute Summon. Tatsuya, can you explain it?"
"Hai." Tatsuya said standing up. "Tribute Summon lets me summon from my hand, but if I'm summoning a Level 5 or 6 monster, I have to tribute 1 monster on my field. If it's Level 7 or higher, I must tribute 2 monsters. Some monsters even need 3 tributes for summoning."
"That's right. Good." Skip praised. "You've been studying."
Although when he looked at the kids he was surprised.
"This lecture is boring." Futoshi complained.
"I already know this." Ayu complained.
"Even we know that much." Jonouchi commented.
"No kidding." Tristin said.
"I Fusion Summon with vanilla ice cream and custard pudding!" Sora whispered as he scooped the food with the same spoon. "I will eat this sweet Vanilla Prince!"
"Hey, that's bad." Yuya whispered at him to make Sora stop eating in class.
"It's not bad. It's delicious." Sora whispered back, thinking Yuya was talking about the food being a bad tasting combo. "Yuya, want to eat too?"
"That's not what I meant!" Yuya argued. "If you eat during class, Yuzu's fan is going to…"
As Yuya trailed off while glancing at Yuzu, he sees that she's not really paying attention to anything around her. Yuya was shocked.
"…not strike you?" Yuya asked himself. "She's been acting weird since yesterday."
"Well can you blame her." Serena hissed at him.
Yuya looks back at her.
"Especially with what you did?" Serena continued with a glare.
Yuya turns back forwards.
"What was that about?" he asks himself.
"Next is Fusion Summon." Skip continued the lesson. "Let's have Sora explain it."
"Donut effect activates!" Sora suddenly exclaimed.
(Play Yuya Sakakis theme)
"Vanilla Prince has powered up even more!" Sora said as he took a bite out of a donut.
(Cue Record Scratch sound effect)
"No eating during class, Sora!" Skip yelled.
"Dad! What about Xyz?" Yuzu suddenly asked as she stood up from her seat.
"Xyz?" Skip responded.
Everyone looked at her in confusion, except for Zack (and Zarc), Serena, Ruri and Rin.
"She must still think that Yuto is Yuya." Zarc theorized.
"We've never taught Xyz Summon here, right?" Yuzu asked.
"Of course not." Skip said. "I can't teach what I've never done. Even LDS has only started teaching it recently. Why are you suddenly bringing up Xyz?"
"No reason." Yuzu said as she sat back down. 'Yeah, there's no way Yuya could use Xyz.'
She then looks back at Zack. He gives her a smile, 1 that she returns.
'Zack's right, that wasn't Yuya that help me yesterday.' Yuzu thought. 'But if it wasn't Yuya and Zack showed up afterwards then…'
"A surprise attack?" a loud voice was suddenly heard outside that caught everyone's attention. "There's no way Yuya would do something so underhanded!"
"Gongenzaka?" Yuya asked in surprise.
"Who is Gongenzaka?" Zarc asked.
(Someone, in my opinion, who is tied for first place with Jonouchi for the "Protagonists Best Friend" award.) Zack explained.
Everybody quickly made their way outside to see what was happening.
"What's the commotion?" Skip demanded.
"Headmaster!" Gongenzaka said.
Noboru Gongenzaka, or Gong for short, is a teenager with a huge frame, almost adult height. He has a fairly round face, is stockily built and rather muscular. Gong has black hair styled into a large pompadour, restrained by a red band and his nose is somewhat redder than the rest of his face. He wears heavy sandals rather than shoes.
"The man Gongenzaka was running to strengthen his legs when he noticed 3 suspicious men peeking into YSD." Gong explained. "When I questioned them, they said Yuya attacked them yesterday!"
The 3 "suspicious" men were Sawatari's lackies.
"Attacked them?" Skip asked in shock.
"Me?" Yuya asked in disbelief.
"No way!" Anzu gasped.
"That's right!" Lacky #2 said. "Don't say you forgot!"
"We saw it with our own eyes!" Lacky #1 accused.
"There are 4… actually, 6 witnesses!" Lacky #3 said.
"6?" Gong asked.
"Sawatari, us… and them!" #3 listed off as he pointed at Yuzu and Zack, making everyone look at them.
"Right, Yuzu Hiiragi and Zack Hikari?" the lackies asked snarkingly.
Yuzu took a step back while Zack simply glared at the lackies. Gong stepped towards Yuzu.
"Is that true, Yuzu?" Gong asked. "You saw it too?"
"Saw what?" Skip asked his daughter.
"The criminal's face!" #2 answered.
"The face of Yuya Sakaki attacking the next mayor's son Shingo Sawatari!" #1 explained as all 3 pointed their fingers at Yuya.
'The face of Yuya Sakaki?' Atem thought as he noticed something they said. 'Could this be like with Zack? Someone that looks like Yuya and him.'
"Eh?" Yuya said in confusion.
"Stop lying!" Futoshi yelled.
"There's no way Yuyanii-chan would do that!" Tatsuya argued.
"Sawatari was the one who tried to attack Yuyanii-chan!" Ayu said. "Yuzunee-chan dueled him because she wanted to stop him!"
"Wait a second!" Skip cut in. "Yuya didn't duel, but Yuzu did?"
"That's right!" Ayu confirmed.
"And her opponent was…" Skip trailed off.
"Sawatari!" Ayu answered.
"That means…" Skip started to say before jumping to conclusions. "Yuzu was the one who attacked them?"
"Wrong!" the kids yelled.
"Like I said, it was Yuya Sakaki." #2 said.
"He's the one who assaulted Sakatari!" #1 said.
"Poor Sawatari." #3 lamented. "He's hurt so badly that he's hospitalized."
"Hospitalized?" Yuya gasped.
"Oh no!" Yuzu gasped.
"She does remember he was fine last night, right?" Zarc asked with a deadpan.
"There's a chance that he might not live." #3 said.
"Okay that's enough!" Zack interrupted. "I'm putting my foot down on this garbage."
"What's that supposed to mean?" #1 asked.
"I was there remember?" Zack said. "Which means I know the only thing that Sawatari got injured was his butt after it got kicked in his duel. Just like how I kicked all 3 of your butts at the same time."
"Zack beat those guys at once by himself?" Yugi asked.
"*whistles*Not bad." Jonouchi complemented.
"Indeed." Atem agreed.
"In fact, I bet he's completely fine." Zack said. "Sawatari probably wrapped himself up in bandages with a fake arm and leg cast too boot. My guess is he's eating some fruit in his bed as he "recovers". Look me in the eye and tell me I'm wrong!"
The 3 lackies flinch back.
"So what Zack said is true then." Tristen said.
"T-That doesn't change the fact that Yuya Sakaki was there!" #2 said.
"Except we have 6 people that were with him at the time the duels took place." Zack countered.
"That's right!" Rin agreed as Serena and Ruri nodded.
Yuya turns to Yuzu.
"Say something, Yuzu!" Yuya begged. "You saw everything, right?"
"I did." Yuzu confirmed. "Which is why I know that other person wasn't Yuya."
"Yuzu…" Yuya said relieved.
"Will someone please start from the beginning and explain what happened!" Skip said.
"I'll explain." a women's voice spoke up.
Everyone looks at towards the voice and see a woman in red with her hair styled like a heart and Nakajima.
"You're LDS's…" Skip started to say.
"Hai. I am the Chairwoman." The lady answered. "My name is Himika Akaba. Shall we head inside and talk?"
When Skip agreed, everyone but Zack, Nakajima and the lackies. Just before Zack re-enters the building, he stops.
"Tell me Nakajima." Zack called out without looking back. "Which Akaba came up with this little play. Him or her?"
Nakajima just stood there.
"…The young master had nothing to do with this." The loyal bodyguard finally spoke.
"I see." Zack said. "Okay, you can give those 3 idiots the rare cards they were promised for their acting."
"He knew?" the 3 gasped.
'I should've guessed you know what was going on.' Nakajima thought. 'I truly hope we don't lose an ally today.'
Inside the school, everyone was sitting or standing around the lounge area. The conversation went exactly as in the anime, Himika spouting crap about their students and their school's honor. She then proposed her intention; a duel wager.
"If your side wins, we will forget about the Sawatari issue." Himika said. "But if we win, Leo Duel School will take over You Show Duel School."
"Nani?" Yuya exclaimed in shock.
"No way!" Yuzu gasped.
"You can't!" Yugi denied.
"Why you no good-!" Jonouchi growled.
"It's not enough to clear your name?" Gong snapped. "You also want to take YSD?"
"Chairwoman Akaba, I heard that you're buying many duel schools around the world." Skip calmly spoke. "You've now also targeted YSD?"
All the women did was smile.
"Maybe you planned the surprise attack." Skip accused.
"Definitely not!" Himika denied. "But its true that I'm using it as an opportunity."
"And there it is." Zack spoke up, feeling now was the time to step in.
Everyone looked at him, leaning on the wall with his arms crossed.
"You don't care about our school, even less so with Sawatari as his only benefit to you is his father and not his dueling skills." Zack said as he looked at the woman with 1 eye. "What you're really after is what our school has… Pendulum Summoning."
The YSD occupant's eyes widened at what Zack said.
"Okay, yeah I don't like her either now." Zarc said as he came to the same conclusion.
"My, you're a sharp one." Himika complemented. "Along with Fusion, Synchro and Xyz, it's LDS's chance to have Pendulum as its fourth pillar. Don't you think it's a waste for you to have monopolize such a treasure, Headmaster Hiiragi?"
"Regardless of how he feels, no offence headmaster, Yuya is the one that gets the final say on the matter." Zack interrupted. "He is the one that created Pendulum Summoning after all. Just like what the Dueling History books will say."
"Be as that it may." Himika continued. "LDS can use Leo Corporation's technological prowess to turn Pendulum Summoning into a curriculum and teach it to many students. Because there are many duelists who adore Yuya and want to use Pendulum."
She then looked to Tatsuya, Futoshi and Ayu in the back.
"That's the same with you, right?" Himika asked the children.
Zack and Zarc glare at the women for trying to use the kids to her advantage.
"But you can't Pendulum Summon without Yuyanii-chan's Pendulum Cards." Tatsuya said.
"That can be solved with Leo Corporation's power." Himika said. "That's why we have to become one."
"More like consume." Serena growled under her breath, with Ruri and Rin agreeing with her since they heard her.
'And if we become one, I can investigate Yuya Sakaki more thoroughly.' Himika thought sinisterly as she glanced at Yuya. 'Is he my and Reiji's enemy, or…'
Then she glanced at Zack.
'Plus, there is also you, Zack Hikari.' she thought while remembering earlier that day.
(Flash Back)
When she returned to Paradise City, Nakajima had informed her about there being a new summoning method that appeared a week ago while she was away. After arriving at LDS, Himika spoke to her son and was told about Pendulum Summoning and what it could do. She immediately asked if it was due to a certain individual, but Reiji, while unsure, had doubts. It was then he informed her on who it was that invented this method; Yuya Sakaki. At first, she thought nothing of it, until Reiji said that he was the son of Yusho Sakaki… which should've been obvious given the 17-year-olds family name. Himika was worried that Yusho Sakaki had joined forces with their enemy, but Reiji denied such a thing to be true. He then informed her about Sawatari's attack last night and the culprit used Xyz Summoning.
"Then I shall go and give the possible future mayor my sympathy." Himika said as she stood up to leave. 'Then I'll make plans for acquiring this Pendulum Summoning. Such a method must become ours.'
"There is 1 more thing." Reiji said stopping his mother.
"What is it?" she asked.
"The day after Yuya Sakaki created Pendulum Summoning, we had gained 4 new allies." Reiji revealed.
"New allies?" Himika repeated in surprise. "From where and who?"
Reiji pressed a button on a remote for the screen behind him to show pictures of Zack, Serena, Ruri and Rin.
"Their names are Zack Hikari, Serena, Ruri and Rin." Reiji said. "Ruri is from the Xyz Dimension, where Rin is from Synchro."
"Why do the girls look the same if they're from different dimensions?" she asked. "And why does this Zack Hikari have the same face as Yuya Sakaki?"
"Zack has given an explanation about this to me." Reiji said. "But it is a long story, and the end will leave you needing time to process."
"Very well." Himika said. "Where are the last 2 from?"
"The Fusion Dimension." Reiji answered.
"Fusion?!" the woman gasped. "Can they even be trusted?"
"I believe they can be trusted." Reiji said calmly. "Especially given the fact Zack risked his life and willingly put a target on his back to not only save these girls but also get us this."
Reiji pulled up a new picture of the drive that Zack gave him.
"A drive?" Himika asked. "What is on it?"
"Data from Leo Akaba's personal server." Reiji said. "As well as his right hand man."
"You mean…?" she asked with her eyes widened.
"All of his plans are in our hands thanks to Zack." Reiji confirmed with a nod. "We just need to decipher it, but it is taking longer than we thought. Luckly, Zack was able to do enough on his own with the little resources he had to find out these girls *increases the sizes of the sister's pictures* and 1 other are needed for Leo's plan in some way."
"1 other? Who?" Himika asked, a little worried for these girls.
"Yuzu Hiiragi." Reiji said as he brought up her picture beside the sisters.
"They all have the same face." Himika gasped.
"As I said before, Zack's story has the reason." Reiji said. "To protect Yuzu, he and the girls that came with him have decided to enroll at You Show Duel School to keep a close eye on her and Yuya Sakaki."
(End Flash Back)
'My Reiji says you're trustworthy and I believe my son, but I'll judge you with my own eyes.' Himika thought.
"A duel isn't a tool for fighting." Yuya spoke up, catching Himika's attention. "Zack already helped me see that one day everyone will be able to Pendulum Summon, but I don't want anyone else to take You Show Duel School! My dad built this school to teach entertainment dueling. I can't let someone who uses money and power to take over a dueling school think they can teach how to entertain the masses!"
The chairwoman glared in response.
"Well said, Yuya!" Gongenzaka complemented. "The man Gongenzaka wholeheartedly agrees! In order to protect YSD, I'll fight alongside my friend!"
"But you're not a member of our school." Sora pointed out.
Gong's jaw dropped at this reminder as his whole body turned white.
"If the schools are going to battle, then it should be Yuya, Zack and me. I always wanted to battle an LDS duelist." Sora said.
"To banish the man Gongenzaka! How inexcusable!" Gong yelled.
"Then we'll make him an honorary member." Zack said. "Considering how much of a friend he is with Yuya, I think it'll be okay. Plus, knowing you Sora, you'll just hand it off to someone else if your opponent seems boring to you."
Sora just shamelessly laughed and rubbed the back of his head.
"It seems the students have made a decision." Himika said.
"I also made my decision." Skip said. "You Show Duel School…"
Then everyone took a step behind Skip.
"…You can't have it!" they all said.
"Then let's begin." Himika said with a smile. "I shall return in 2 hours with my chosen duelists."
Once she left, the YSD members began to discuss on who should duel. In the end, it was decided that Zack, Yuzu and Gongenzaka that would represent them with Yuya on the side, upon Zack pointing out, incase of a tie breaker match.
The 3 chosen were going over their decks for the upcoming duel… well Yuzu and Gong were as Zack did his last night, so this gave him and Zarc time to talk. Which he went to an empty room to do.
"So why those 2?" he asked. "With how much you praised Yugi and Atem, I thought they'd be on the team."
"That would be the case yeah, but those 2 need to do these duels." Zack said.
"How so?" Zarc asked.
"These duels helped Yuzu and Gong realize their decks need some serious upgrades." Zack explained. "Fusion for Yuzu and Synchro for Gong, due to their respective opponents. It allowed them to get stronger."
"And you don't want to take the chance of that not happening if they're not on the team." Zarc nodded, understanding.
The door opened, making the 2 look to show Ayu.
"Zacknii-chan! They're here!" Ayu said.
"Okay, thank you Ayu-chan." Zack said with a smile.
Zack and Ayu made their way back to the others, before splitting up as Zack headed to the duel field. On the left side was Skip, Zack, Yuzu and Gongenzaka. While on the right side stood Himika Akaba and her chosen fighters.
"3v3." The woman said as she explained the agreed rules. "The first to 2 victories is the winner. Who's dueling first?"
"I'll start us off." Zack said stepping forward. "Question is; who are you sending to the slaughter?"
Himika looked at Zack. After she returned to LDS, she asked Sawatari's lackies about his dueling style and deck. Imagine her surprise to hear that not only was his deck unknown but that he could use all 3 Extra Deck summoning's!
'Zack Hikari starting off is a strong move.' Himika thought. 'No matter who we send, he'll be able to match easily and thus have a chance to gain the first point.'
"You shouldn't think you'll win so easily." Himika said. "Afterall, they're the aces in each of LDS's courses and have earned their places in the Junior Youth Championship like Yuya. The 1 who will face Zack is…"
"LDS's Xyz Course student Hokuto Shijima!" a boy with purple hair spoke up. He also had a constellation headpiece.
"Xyz?" Yuzu asked.
Tatsuya was using his duel disk to look through the LDS foster for information on Hokuto.
"There he is!" Ayu pointed out. "LDS's Hokuto Shijima!"
"His record this year is 58 matches, 53 of them being wins?" Futoshi gasped.
"His win rate is above 90 percent!" Tatsuya exclaimed.
"He easily met the requirements to enter the Junior Youth Championship!" Futoshi said.
"He's 1 of this year's favorites to win the championship!" Ayu added.
The 3 looked at Zack, worried for him.
"Don't worry kids." Serena spoke up.
They looked at her.
"Zack won't lose." Serena continued. "Not when so much is on the line."
"Yeah!" Rin chimed in. "He's gonna get our first win!"
"So cheer him on." Ruri said.
Skip stepped beside Zack.
"Even if he's an ace or a tournament favourite, there's no need to fear." Skip said. "Show them your power, Zack! Get fired up! Let your blood boil!"
"Oh don't worry." Zack said with a smirk while slamming his fist in his opposite hand. "I don't plan on going easy on him!"
Soon everyone else besides Zack (with Zarc) and Hokuto left the field. The others were watching them through the windows.
"My students can deal with any situation, so choose whatever you like." Himika said to Skip, who was in the monitor room for the field.
"The same thing goes for Zack!" Serena said.
"Deal with any situation?" Skip asked. "Then how about this! Action Field on!"
He pressed a button on the keypad.
"I activate the Field Spell Cosmic Sanctuary!" Skip yelled. "Gain the power of the stars and battle, Zack!"
Around the 2 duelist the field changed, becoming a temple like area.
"Not bad." Zarc said as he looked around. "The fields back home weren't as in depth as this."
(It's pretty cool.) Zack agreed. (Only 1 problem.)
Before Zarc could ask, their opponent started laughing.
"He chose a field where I'm an expert." Hokuto mocked.
"Oh." Zarc said.
"Nani?" Skip exclaimed in shock.
"Since his name is "Hokuto" aka Big Dipper, you could've easily figured that out." Sora said.
That caused Skip to go completely white.
(Insert A Battle that Cannot be Lost here)
"*hmph*It doesn't matter if this is his preferred field or not." Zack scoffed. "What matters is our skills as duelists. Besides, I made a promise to win this duel and I don't break my promises!"
Serena, Ruri and Rin smiled at Zack, where's Yuzu remembered the promise he made her and gained a slight blush that went unnoticed.
"I'll win and protect You Show Duel School and it's Founders teachings!" Zack vowed. "The teachings of Yuya's father, Yusho Sakaki!"
"The duelists meet at the battlefield!" Ayu began to chant.
"Along with their monsters, they'll kick the ground and fly through the sky…" Futoshi continued.
"…to move around the field!" Tatsuya added.
"Witness dueling's greatest evolution!" Ayu finished.
"Action!" both Tatsuya and Futoshi said.
"Duel!" Zack and Hokuto yelled.
Outside the school, someone was making their way towards it. Hoping they can make it in time to watch and to avoid anything being destroyed by LDS's chairwoman. That person being Reiji Akaba himself.
