Rising of the Masters of the Universe
ESKK: Well, here we are a new chapter I hope you all enjoy it and will continued to support this fic. So yeah, before we start though originally this Chapter was longer, but I had to split it in two to make it easier for you guys to read through it. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it and will leave a review before you leave now let's get this started.
(Start the next morning Melromarc)
The day of the wave had at long last arrived as the group waited to be teleported there. Naofumi kept a close eye on the timer as Daito did a final check on their equipment. All was prepared and all were ready to face the Waves with everything they had at their disposal. Catra was making sure her knew gear was at the ready as Yumi secured her new bashing helmet. She was wearing Light armor with a few heavy spots so to allow her to charge and build up momentum. Of course, she now had a battle axe so Yumi would not have to rely on her head to do the damage for her on possibly get a concussion.
Akane made sure the Sword of Protection was set for her as she had a quiver of arrows just in case, she needed to use the weapon in bow form. From what she understood the Sword of Protection was limited by what she was making since it could take almost any form only if she knew what she was making. With this in mind making guns was out of the question unless she can figure out how to compensate for ammunition somehow. Daito meanwhile had his mace ready while standing with Ayato who was also ready for battle as he had the Sword of Power on his back and a shield strapped to his left arm.
As the last few hours counted down for it as Naofumi, Akane, Ayato, and everyone else were ready for the wave as they stood there with their new gear on as they double check everything just in case they could be missing something as Raphtalia came up to her master as she said, "Master Naofumi."
"What is it?" Naofumi said to her as Raphtalia walk up to him as she seemed a bit shy of saying something when she spoken up saying, "Well I... I just... wanna say... that I'm truly grateful and honor to have meet you and your family."
She thought back to everything he, Akane, and Ayato had done for her, along with the others including Catra surprisingly as she went on saying, "You gave me medicine and cure my illness, you allow me to have warm meals, and most importantly you taught me how to live, and you gave me a reason to survive and to fight... to fight the waves."
Raphtalia looks at Naofumi with determination in her eyes as the light from the sun's light in them as she suddenly said, "I swear to be your sword forever."
Naofumi turn to her as she went on saying as she put her hand to her chest and said, "Wherever you go, I'll be there with you."
"Oh yeah?" Naofumi said as suddenly Ayato came up to them and spoke. "Well, the thing is Raphtalia."
Catching her attention as she turned to the master's Leader as he said to her, "You're not a sword or a tool... your family, and family will take by each other no matter what."
She was surprised by this as she looked to the others as they all had the same look as Ayato, as they knew what was coming, but they weren't going to run and hide, as they choice to stay by each other side through thick and thin, they will fight, and they will survive.
As the count down soon reach the end, a bell was heard, and everyone around was suddenly surrounded by a bright light as they were soon teleport together.
(Elsewhere)
"Whoa, that was weird," Akane said as Ayato shake his head a bit as he didn't think teleporting would be that weird with Naofumi said, "Where are we?
Raphtalia gasp as everyone look and saw in the sky the real wave was coming and it was huge as Naofumi said, "There it is. The wave of catastrophe."
"Ok I was NOT expecting a tear in the very fabric of reality." Daito said as he saw the scene before him. Naofumi went wide eyed and looked to Daito when he said that. "What am I the only one who sees it?" Daito asked and thus in retrospect that did make sense in a way.
"Look here they come!" Hajime cried out as waves of monsters came down from the sky, larger and faster than the ones they had been facing until now.
Suddenly there was footsteps heard down below and upon investigation they saw it was the other three Cardinal Heroes. Naofumi saw this and growled a bit before he said, "Those guys... Everyone, we're going!"
"Wait look Master Naofumi!" Raphtalia called out as she pointed over at a village which everyone knew of as Raphtalia said, "It's Lute village."
"Has the villagers evacuated?" Naofumi asked as Ayato said, "Probably not, the Wave just started and if we didn't know where it would hit neither would they."
A flare shot up as the village was calling for help as Akane said, "This isn't good, that just going to draw more attention to them."
"Even if the castle maybe close, it's not close enough for help to arrive." Yumi said as she saw what this could mean.
"So that means by the time knight or guards would get there-" Hajime trailed off and in turn Naofumi cut in.
"The village will be wiped out!" Naofumi finish saying as he took off as he called out to everyone, "We're going! To Lute village!"
"Now we're talking," Ayato said as he charged in behind Naofumi with his hand on his sword with Cringer following beside him, and everyone else follows as well as Akane drew her sword and said, "Let's go fight some monsters Catra."
"No need to tell me," Catra as she had her new whip out and ready to use. Akane and Catra were still on Swift Wing as they ride off into battle hopefully to save the village before it was too late.
(Lute village)
Bee monsters flew around as the undead skeleton knights rose up from the ground. It would also seem that the village was somewhat prepared, but they were still outnumbered as they try to fight the monsters off. Just then one of skeletons was about to swing down upon a guy who was on the ground, as he cried out as he was about to be hit. But it would not come to pass as suddenly a shield blocked the attack. Naofumi came in just in time to save the guy as they Yumi and Hajime came in to help him up.
Just then Ayato came in with his sword and took the skeleton's head off with the rest of its body went limp, with Raphtalia, Catra, and Akane taken on the monsters in the surrounding area as Ayato asked, "Is the guy alright?"
"Yeah, he'll be fine." Hajime adding a small healing charm just to be sure.
With a nod Naofumi looked over to Raphtalia with an order for the Demihuman girl. "Raphtalia, go help the villagers evacuate." Naofumi ordered which surprised Raphtalia.
"But what about you?" Raphtalia asked to her master as Naofumi was about to say something until Yumi roared and headbutted another monster. Following it up was Daito swinging his mace and slamming it into another monster.
"Don't worry we got his back!" Daito called out shouldering his mace.
"Rapthalia, Catra you two get the people out of here we'll cover things here!" Akane called out and with a nod the two headed out.
"Wait shouldn't we power up?" Ayato asked as he looked to his twin sister.
"Sure, and if we become too reliant on it when we don't have it, we're screwed." Akane warned as the message was clear. They need to try to win on their own merits and try to save the use of the Power of Greyskull for situations that demand it. With a nod everyone got moving to carry out the duties that needed to be done. People's lives were at stake so they had to do what they could to save the people.
(Village center)
Where the people of the village gather with their pitchforks and farming tool to fight off the monsters, but they seem to be getting overwhelmed, with one guy soon saw both Ayato and Naofumi running up as he said, "The Cardinal Heroes?!"
Then from out of nowhere Yumi roared as she headbutted another monster away before switching to her fists as she began to punch her way through the monster.
"Watch out monsters, the shield hero and friends are coming through!" Daito yelled out while bashing another monster with his mace as he was making the announcement. No doubt Daito heard what the guy said and didn't want to be confused with one of the four heroes by mistake. As he charged in Ayato swung his sword cutting down a huge load of monsters in one slash with an attack power of what seem like an arc of air blowing through more monsters around.
Over with Naofumi the Shield Hero punched a zombie knight in the face, but hardly did any damage to it as tell the people of the village, "Listen up! We'll keep them occupied!" Soon enough both him and Ayato ran out as the half Japanese boy slash more monsters on the way as Naofumi went on saying, "Get out of here while you can!"
The undead, monster bugs, and golem like monsters were chasing them down as the people soon relax sense they were no longer in any danger for now at least, with the group ran through the village finding more people, with one guy who seem to have try to run away but got caught up in the wave with an undead soldier about to kill him until Naofumi change shield and cast out, "Air Strike shield!"
An undead soldier struck a green energy shield with Ayato came in and drop kick it while he stabbed his sword into it, killing it for good before pulling out as he said to the guy, "Get up and run now while you can."
The guy nodded as he did so and ran screaming a bit, soon enough there were more cries as a mother and daughter were stuck with a swarm of monster bees coming at them with Naofumi cast a spell over them, "Shield Prison!"
A ball of shields covered the mother and daughter, with the bee creature bounce off of it. Akane then ran by and cut down a few to get the rest of the bug monsters' attention as they started coming after them now.
"And split!" Akane said as the group soon split apart as Yumi, Daito, and Hajime all went their way to the sides pulling a few bugs towards themselves, as Naofumi, Ayato, and Akane made a run to the mines with one of the support wood pillar as knock out of place and on fire, Naofumi slide under while the twins jump over the fire, knowing their armor will protect him from it.
The bee monsters were stop in their place by the fire, as they waited for either to come out, and from the flames the twin did a surprise attack as they swung their swords that caught ablaze by the flames Naofumi, and the twin soon jump out with Naofumi holding a torch in his hands.
The trio stood back to bang with the swords still burning by the fire, with Naofumi holding the torch as he said, "Over here you stupid zombies! Keep up with me if you can!"
Soon enough they were running again as they gain a lot if not almost all of the monster's attention as they keep on running.
(Daito)
The science nerd ran for his life as some monsters chase him around as he look back to see them still flying after him, he quickly took a sharp turn around a building, vanishing out of the monsters site, as when they turn the same corner, they found no one there, as the monsters looking around a bit curiously before turning around and leaving, unaware to them there was a barrel nearby with a lid on it that was slightly off.
Suddenly the lid lifted up as in the barrel, Daito pop his head up to see that his trick worked and said, "Thank you barrel, you protected me in donkey Kong and now here as well."
He soon made his way out of it before hearing a scream somewhere as he gave sad sigh and said, "The things I do as an adventurer."
Daito soon lift his mase weapon and charge to where the scream was coming from and be the hero that he needed to be.
(Yumi and Hajime)
The two girls went off in the same direction as they lure their monsters away as Yumi said, "You think we ran enough?"
"Probably," Hajime said as soon enough both girls stop and turn around quickly, as Yumi Charge in and bash a few bugs with her tackling, with her armor tanking their stingers, while Hajime cast out, "Zwei Fire!"
A bolt of fire came forth and took out a group of them with Yumi stood up from where he was at as she said, "Girl power rules."
"I agree, now let's find the others," Hajime said as both girls soon take off to find the others while also taking down a few monsters along the way.
(With Catra, Raphtalia, and Cringer)
The two demi humans and tiger help evacuate the people in the village, with Catra decided to help out the raccoon girl while her masters were fighting, with cringers helping the kids by letting them ride on his back to the mines that was outside the village as quickly as they can to as Raphtalia yell out, "Everyone, Come this way!"
"Come people sometime today will be nice," Catra said as she wanted to get this done quickly so she can get some action in the wave.
Some of the people outside of the mines just look out to their village as great amount of smoke rise from it with Raphtalia did the same, could help but felt worries about Naofumi and the others who are still at the village.
(Lute village)
Naofumi was trying to catch his breath as Ayato took point while they were surrounded by monsters. Daito roared as he slammed his mace into another monster while Yumi went for a double kick to the chest and face. "This won't work." Naofumi said as he looked around. "There's too many of these guys." Naofumi said as Ayato then looked to Naofumi.
Akane blocked an attack before she sliced away another Monster. "I'm open to suggestions." Akane said as she glared at her foes.
"We bust out our trump card." Ayato offered as he looked to the others.
"Great kind of hard with us all being surrounded!" Daito called out as Hajime looked around.
"I got an idea." Naofumi called out as he looked to the tower nearby. "I'll draw them away and you guys start transforming!" Naofumi called out as he looked to the group.
"Is that such a good idea?" Daito asked but Naofumi looked to Daito.
"I'm supposed to take hits, but I can't dish them out." Naofumi reminded them showing he can handle it.
"Alright." Ayato said with a nod to Naofumi who in turn made a bee line for the tower. As Naofumi made his way to the tower Ayato knew it was now or never as he then gripped the Sword of Power in both hands. Akane saw this as well and held her own sword at the ready for what came next.
Seeing this Daito, Hajime, Yumi, Swift Wing, and Cringer got ready as well knowing what came next. "By the Power!" Ayato began as he swung his sword skyward.
"For the Honor!" Akane called out lifting her own sword skyward.
"OF GREYSKULL!" The twins roared out and thus the power came down on the two.
As they summoned the power a tornado made of magical energy circled around the twins as they transformed. From the tornado energy tendrils shot out and hit the other members of the party. Soon Battlecat let out a mighty roar as his transformation was completed.
"WE. HAVE. THE POWER!" Both He-Man and She-Ra called out as they took center stage together at long last.
The Monsters eased back a bit almost in fear of the power radiating off them. That was until Yumi came bashing between the monsters much like the homing attack of Sonic the Hedgehog. Once Yumi was done Daito came in as he swung his mace hitting the ground as his mind got to work. In turn walls were constructed around several groups of monsters trapping them in their grip. It seemed pointless at first until Hajime was seen in the sky raining down ice spikes upon the monsters skewering them all.
He-Man smiled at his friends who were working hard when screaming was heard. "Look!" She-Ra called out and in turn they saw a group of villagers cornered by the monsters.
"Let's go!" He-Man called out and thus they went to save some lives.
As the villagers were trying to escape it was clear that they got separated from the pack as it were. When the monsters were about to attack, they were surprised when She-Ra appeared and slashed through them all. Just then He-Man came in and finished the job with a super jump that caused the ground to shake when he launched and later landed.
"Who are you?" The villagers asked as she looked to, He-Man. "My word you can grate cheese on those." She said eyeing He-Man's pecks.
"I'll clear a path you head up to the other villagers and stay safe." He-Man said as he looked to the villager.
"But there's no way we can get there safely." The villagers said and thus He-Man and She-Ra smirked to each other.
"There's one way." She-Ra began as He-man then cut in on his twin sister.
"Behind us." He-Man said and thus the two heroes charged into battle once more.
As they lead the villagers to safety the twins were charging into a pack of monsters ready to stop them. The twins began to fight through the monsters working side by side covering each other's blind spots and supporting the others, attacks. They worked in perfect unity as He-Man the Strongest Man in the Universe and She-Ra the Princess of Power. Just then a large monster came down and in turn He-Man blocked the attack for his sister. Once that was done, She-Ra left her hiding spot behind her brother's shield and slashed at the monster's face causing it to stumble back.
She-Ra then while airborne was caught by Swift Wing and thus began to fight her way through the airborne enemies on her Alicorn. Meanwhile He-Man was surrounded by enemies, but they could do little to stop him as he sliced and diced them and even sent a few back as he did so. When a large one was about to punch him, He-Man acted and sent a fist out which collided with the larger monsters, fist. The result was the monster feeling the shockwave ripple up its arm before said arm exploded in response. As the monster held the stump in agony Battle Cat appeared and began to tear out the monsters, throat with a savage roar.
The two rode into battle as they were then joined by, She-Ra and Swift Wing. They saw the largest monster and in turn allowed their steads to ram into the largest. Once this was done the two jumped off and sliced through the monster creating an H as they did so. The two heroes stood up and held their swords over the other to the sky striking a hero pose.
Just then the sound of a bell was heard getting the groups attention to its source. That source being the watch tower not too far away in the direction Naofumi had run off too prior.
(Meanwhile with Naofumi)
The monsters turned toward the tower when they heard the bell and started to clime it, Naofumi grabs the lamps just to take their fuel and dump it all over the tower below and onto some zombies as well. Naofumi had saw them summon the power and figured those two might try to show off a bit it was just how the twins acted at times.
Dropping the fuel bowl while he lower the small torch he had, as he prepared himself before lighting the tower aflame, as the fire spread quickly over the tower and the undead, but before the fire becomes too big, Naofumi jump out of the tower and aim for a wooden pole, using his rope shield and pull it apart to help him catch himself on the wooden pole before it broke but slow down his fall enough to land safely.
Naofumi hit the ground in a roll causing him a slight bit of discomfort when he landed. "Heroes!" One of the villagers from before called out as he came up. He then smiled as he saw He-man and She-Ra and was also glad the shield hero was safe as well. Naofumi was the first to say to the village guy, "Why did you come back?
"This place is still dangerous, and your people had barely recovered from the small wave before," He-man said as the guy said, "We all change our minds seeing how courageously you all were fighting."
"Lute is our home it's all we have we can't just run away and abandon it." The villager said and thus it was clear that these people will put their lives down to protect their homes. "We'll fight with you." He said and in turn Naofumi stood up completely as he said, "Good choice Help me keep the enemy pinned down until the Evacuation's completed."
The villager nodded as suddenly there was a huge shadow overhead as they turn to see a golem was before them with its weapon raise. the monster ready to cut the villager in half, until He-man step in front of it, blocking it with his power sword with ease as he said to it, "You will not take anyone lives while we are here!"
Suddenly another villager came up with a pitchfork and stab it into the monster as he yelled out, "Die monster!"
The golem turned as the attack drew its attention away as he let off of He-Man only to find Daito's mace hitting its face. "Pick on someone your own size!" Daito called out and thus as the monster stumbled back Yumi came in before changing into her wrecking ball form. She then darted through the monster killing it as it began to fall over dead.
"Mass Healing!" Hajime was heard as soon the entire area was covered in a healing green aura. Above them Hajime in her Sorceress Form flew as she held her staff that carried the emerald glow in it. "As long we're around you will not touch a touch a single life." Hajime said as she glared down upon the gathered monsters.
"Hey!" Catra voice called out as she and Raphtalia were seen running toward them.
"Sir Naofumi!" Raphtalia called out as she joined the group.
"Don't you guy hog all the fun!" Catra called out as she swung her whip around and in turn saw how it wrapped around one monster before the tip slammed into its head splattering it. Bully back she kept swinging the whip cracking it on every monster that came her way before Raphtalia could jump in. "You're up Racoon!" Catra called out and thus Raphtalia came in.
"Right!" Raphtalia called out as she then slashed through the monster so fast it fell apart just as she landed.
The villagers all saw this and were amazed at how strong this party was. "We'll take care of things here now," He-man said with Naofumi spoken up afterword, "Just Hurry up and evacuate as well."
After that the villagers nodded and spread out to get any survivors out of the area. When they did this the Masters of the Universe soon changed their attention to the monsters as the next wave of monsters were ready for battle. "Raphtalia, Catra you two better power up." He-Man said as Naofumi nodded in agreement.
"Right." Raphtalia said and thus she and Catra got ready.
Thus, the Sword of Power and Sword of Protection glowed before sending beams of power towards Raphtalia and Catra. Not long after the two were transformed into their Master Forms and were ready for battle.
"Masters Assemble!" He-man said doing a battle cry as She-Ra looks at her brother and said, "Really the avengers battle cry?"
"It sounded good," He-man said as soon enough everyone started to fight against the monsters at full power as they were killing it. Ram Ma'am was speeding through all the zombies around, while Man-at-Arms was using his abilities to create a catapult and launch many things at the monsters taking down many at once.
Sorceress flew high to gather all the bugs that she could and draw them together as she used a large fire spell to wipe them all out at once as she smirk to her results, Raphtalia and Catra were double teaming against the monsters as Raphtalia were slicing and dicing monsters left and right with Catra was striking with her new whip which was causing a lot of damage to the monsters themselves, with Naofumi was helping out his cousins as he block large monsters attack while He-man counter and She-Ra taking care of low level monsters around Naofumi so they won't get surrounded as much.
With Naofumi checking the area as he said, "They won't stop coming but at least we're pushing them back."
"WE just have to keep it up until those stooges can kill the wave boss, no telling when that will happen," She-Ra said as she rolled her eyes to that thought as He-man said, "If they take too long then we may have to help them."
"You guys can do that while I…" Naofumi started to say but was cut off by seeing some fire being shot into the sky as it gathered together in one spot as Naofumi said, "What's that?"
"Watch out!" Sorceress said as she came in and cast a barrier spell that block the attack that came raining down fire upon them and protected the group as everyone breath in relief as He-man said, "Thanks Ha- Sorceress!"
He-man said as he almost let it slip of calling Hajime by her name as she smile and nodded to them, after a few minutes the attacks stop with Sorceress call upon clouds to bring down normal rain to put out the fires around the houses quickly before vanishing then suddenly knights from the kingdom came in as the captain started to laugh then said, "We burned them all to death at once."
Suddenly the guard look over and notice the group, but also notice the shield hero with the Cardinal Shield being the dead giveaway as he said, "The shield hero? You're quite tough."
This catching everyone's attention as He-man and She-Ra soon walk up to the guards, as they surprise the knights greatly due to their size and swords they carry as he-man said, "What do you think you people are doing, there are still people left in the village, and you open fire on them."
"Not to mention your also set fire to their homes," She-Ra said as she stood by He-man catching the guards off guard as mean while ram Ma'am and man at arms was holding back Raphtalia, so she doesn't cause a scene as the captain of the guard said to them, "Who the hell are you people?"
"We're the masters of the universe, and protectors of the lands and what you have done could have hurt or kill an innocent bystander, As a Knight you should have taken into account the people you are sworn to protect," She-Ra said as she keep her cool, with the vice-captain that had a scar across his nose look down in shame to this as he knew that is supposed to be their duty as the captain said, "Why you, I will not be talk down by the likes of you."
Before he or anyone else could say anything He-man and She-Ra suddenly charged at the group of knights as they raise their sword, as the captain look in fear of what's about to happen, suddenly He-man and She-Ra ran pass them and slash at a giant monster that stood right behind the captain that was about to kill him until the twin heroes cut the monster up as it fell apart with the captain look and freak out by this as He-man said, "If you wish to remain and help then I suggest you listen."
"He's right." Naofumi said as he stepped up. "I just met them today and so far, they know what they're talking about." Naofumi said covering for his cousin as he looked to the two heroes. "Listen up we're gonna buy you time. Use it to get into formation." Naofumi ordered as he looked to the Knights.
Just then the Knights heard a savage roar and in turn looked and saw Battlecat coming in. They looked ready to defend themselves before Battlecat jumped over them and returned to He-Man. He-Man in response jumped onto Battlecat's saddle and in turn surprised the Knights of how powerful He-Man truly was.
She-Ra was then blindsided and sent flying off. "She-Ra!" He-Man called out but just then Swiftwing caught her rider and in turn She-Ra smiled. The Knights had no words to describe these two, She-Ra was a being of beauty in their eyes the fact she had a Alicorn as her mount just added to her purity and heroic nature. He-Man showed them raw strength and a noble heart of a hero.
Needless to say, even the Head Knight was awestruck at the two obvious heroes' strength here. But still he had orders to follow and thus shouted out the next order. "Let the Shield handle this!" The Head Knight called out to the troops. "We'll offer reinforcements to the Three Heroes!" The Head Knight called out before turning to take his leave of the group.
Nearby Daito slammed his weapon upon another monster as He-Man sliced through another larger Zombie while on Battlecat. She-Ra and Swiftwing were in the sky as the Princess of Power hacked and slashed through the onslaught of monsters. Naofumi blocked an attack and thus pushed it back. "Alright go!" Naofumi called out and thus Raphtalia and Catra took over the fight. One of the Knights with a scar across his face had his eyes closed as he contemplated with what to do.
While some of the knights were walking off the vice-captain watch was watching the group of warriors fight against the monsters working in unity. He-Man and She-Ra were powerful, but their allies might not be as such. And as skilled as they are, they were still outnumbered and with this in mind the vice-captain order to the Knights, "Support the Shield Hero's party! Phalanx formation!"
Most of the knights smile to this order as they all group together and yelled out, "Phalanx!"
"Charge!" the vice-captain order as the knights went out and attack the monsters around the village as a team, helping out the party to take them down as Raphtalia said, "Look the knights."
"They are helping us?!" Ram-Ma'am asked as she saw this while Catra glared at them but let them be.
"Looks that way." Sorceress said as she saw what was going on.
"Yep, but I can't say the same thing to that prick over there," Catra said as she looked over at the captain of the knights as he was just left with few knights that stood by his side as the captain said, "Forget them. Let's go!"
The battle rages on as the Naofumi, the knights, and the masters all fought together as one to push back the coming forces of the wave but it seem it maybe a longer battle then they thought as a strange dark cloud that started to roll in cover apart of the sky of the wave that seem to have mutated some of the undead creatures as a few were coming while glowing a familiar havoc green.
"What in the?" He-man said as he faced against a giant undead mutated by the havoc as he cut it in half, it started to split apart until the havoc cause it to pull itself together again as the masters saw this and knew this would be trouble as She-Ra said, "This isn't good."
With Naofumi and Raphtalia face against some of the mutated undead themselves as Naofumi block with his shield and Raphtalia slash it with her sword only for it to regenerate itself as Naofumi said, "What the heck is going on here?"
"Ah I don't want to sound like that one guy but does this stuff kind of look like that havoc energy that we saw at castle gray skull?" man at arms said sounding a bit worry as sorceress said, "It is, somehow the power of havoc somehow must have combined itself with the wave."
"Where did it come from then?" Ram Ma'am said as He-man look up at the clouds and saw where they were coming from as he said, "The havoc clouds seem to be coming form over there."
"Isn't that where the other heroes at are?" She-Ra said as soon enough both siblings realize what is going on as He-man said, "We need to help those 3 before it too late."
"Yeah, but how do we take care of these guys?" Catra said as she been whipping at the undead cover in the havoc and they just keep regenerating themselves as He-man thought of something as he raised his sword and focus the power of Grayskull as marking on his body started to appear his sword soon glow with power as Naofumi asked, "What are you doing?"
"I have an idea!" He-man said as he raises his sword in the air to test his idea.
"Lighting Strike!" He-man shouted out as he raised his sword into the air as lighting came forth from his sword as it shot into the air before coming back down as 3 bolts of energy came and enter he-man's body as he hovered in the air for a moment glowing with power before coming back down holding his sword in reverse as he drag it across the ground while charging out, then swing his sword upwards releasing an arc slash of lighting.
The lighting slash attack took out a good chunk if of the mutated undead in one go as the havoc energy left their bodies before they fell apart with everyone soon cheering out to He-man to this as She-Ra said, "You use the power of Grayskull to counter against the havoc, smart."
"Thanks, wasn't sure if it would work, but I'm glad it did, everyone call forth the power of Grayskull and shot it at them!" He-man said as everyone got the idea as Raphtalia gave it a try as her eye glow with the Power of Grayskull itself.
Raphtalia held her sword in both hands and in turn felt Grayskull's power flowing into it. Her eyes then flashed open as she was ready to attack. In turn her sword glowed as it was filled with power before she sent slashes out at nothing. Just then phantom slashes appeared all being done by phantom versions of Raphtalia. "Phantom Petals!" Raphtalia invoked and thus the petals all went forth and took down several monsters at once.
Once that was done Raphtalia smirked as she saw the attack had done major damage to her foes. Next up came Ram Ma'am as she jumped back and performed a few homing attacks on the monsters. Once she did this, she hit the ground and took a running start for what came next. "My turn!" She called out and thus her body began to glow. "And I'll go with... WRECKING BALL!" Ram Ma'am roared and thus charged into the fight and in turn Naofumi saw how she was bouncing between foes giving him an idea.
"Yumi, I mean Ram Ma'am over here!" Naofumi called out and thus Yumi did as told. Coming his way, the living Wrecking Ball came at him and thus Naofumi saw her stop. "I need you to use that skill again I want to try something!" Naofumi said and thus Yumi nodded.
"Just say when!" Yumi said and thus Naofumi nodded.
"Shield Prison!" Naofumi invoked and in turn Yumi was covered in the Shield Prison. "Now use it!" Naofumi called out as Yumi saw what he was doing.
"Alright!" Yumi called and thus went for her new attack again. "WRECKING BALL!" Yumi invoked while within the Shield Prison and as she went into her Wrecking Ball form, she and the Shield Prison began rolling all over the area taking out several monsters with ease. Once she got to a big monster it surprisingly caught the Shield Prison making Naofumi smirk as he snapped his fingers. The Shield Prison came undone and in turn Ram Ma'am shot through the monster leaving a hole through its body as she landed on the ground.
Looking herself over Yumi saw she was covered in the monster's guts and in response simply shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal to her. She in turn went to rejoin the fight knowing full well the Wave was still going. They began to clear the area of the monsters as once it was cleared enough those on sight could handle it without the masters chiming in on it.
"Naofumi, can you cover things here?" Ayato asked as he looked to Naofumi.
"Yeah, why?" Naofumi asked as He-Man then gestured too the clouds of Havoc nearby. "Got it." Naofumi said with a nod and thus Akane as She-Ra saw this.
"Swift Wing and I will stay here to help out and join up with you guys there." She-Ra said and thus everyone in agreement parted ways.
"Alright, Ram Ma'am, Sorceress, and Man-at-Arms with me!" He-Man called and thus they regrouped and headed off with He-Man riding on Battlecat.
(Meanwhile with Skeletor)
Nearby as the Waves continued to roar Skeletor and his minions stood overlooking the battle. Skeletor smirked as he began to remember fond memories back from when he was Keldor. "Oh, this is truly a sight to behold it almost makes me miss the war between Siltvelt and Melromarc." Skeletor chuckled as he overlooked the battle bellow.
"Yeah, that was the war where you were hailed a hero, right." Kronis asked as he looked to Skeletor who growled.
"Yes, and where I was also denied my rightful place on the throne." Skeletor growled as Kronis had clearly touched a sore spot for the Overlord of Havoc. "A past that showed my humiliation shall soon be rewritten by the present." Skeletor said as he then released more Havoc from his hands to the sky. "And as the Waves rage I Skeletor shall return the conqueror and reclaimer of MY throne!" Skeletor roared as he was going to fight the Waves.
"Skeletor why should we aid in the Wave at all?" Evelynn asked as she looked to Skeletor.
"Simple Evelynn I want to rule and INTACT kingdom." Skeletor said making it clear that was a stupid question to ask. "R'Qazz capture what Monsters you can, I'd like to have something to add to our ever-expanding forces." Skeletor said as he then waved his Staff to the battle. "And as a true King it falls to me to ensure my domain remains intact." Skeletor added as it was clear that whatever of Keldor remained as gone leaving only Skeletor behind.
"Now it is time at long last for us to strike!" Skeletor said as he looked to his minions. "Be my instruments my Dark Masters and wreak HAVOC!" Skeletor roared out his order and thus they all went forth to begin their given roles. They would not be overt as stealth was key right now but once they got enough, they would go to meet with the Cardinal Heroes. Skeletor had been up to date with their exploits and so far, he had found himself disappointed with them. Clearly it was the Church glorification of the Cardinal Fools filling them with arrogance and by extension making them easier to control. But Skeletor was no fool and on this day, he would show his enemies firsthand Skeletor's newfound power and the Purity of Havoc.
This was Skeletors war and no one not his sister or these boobs called the Cardinal Heroes will stand in his way. And most of all not even He-Man and his allies will stop Skeletor and his ever-loyal Dark Masters. But more to the point when he found him Skeletor shall unleash his vengeance upon He-Man and his beloved Masters of the Universe. This was no longer simply the Wave of Catastrophe no this was Skeletor's wave fueled by the Purity of Havoc. This would forever be Skeletor's Wave of Havoc!
