Ozpin's Soul Secret and Goal of Remnant
The scene shows Oscar sleeping peacefully on the bed with a little snoring noise as Futayo herself is up and looking down at the farm boy, she smiles at the face thinking Oscar looks so cute like that and also thought about the others here in the house.
"I'm sure Kimi's friends are now calm with the questions since last night." Futayo said as she looks out the window, believing a new day has begun for everyone.
Futayo leans her face close to the sleeping Oscar just for a closer inspection, he sleepy move his head to the right making their lips about half an inch and suddenly Futayo's heart start beating a little faster. She quickly retreated and held her hands to the spot on her chest where the heart is.
"What…? What was that just now? It was almost we ki" Futayo's face turned red.
(Later After Breakfast)
Oscar is sitting on a red couch while being surrounded by team RNJRK being very close to him while asking him some random questions.
"Did he age backwards?" Nora asked.
"I was thinking the same thing last night." Kimi mentioned.
"Maybe he's possessed?" Jaune guessed.
"AH! Jaune, you know I hate ghosts!" Kimi scared.
"Or reincarnated!" Ren guessed next.
"Oh! Isn't it weird?" Ruby asked as the team leans in a little closer.
"(Or maybe not.)" Futayo thought deadpanned.
"It is very weird, yes." Oscar said nervously.
"Okay everyone, you should all know that Oscar is too finding the situation he is in very surprising and confuse as well. So, please consider how he feels at the moment." Futayo scolded.
Team RJNRK look at Oscar and realizes how awkward they are making him feel, they back away a few feet from him while laugh nervously, they also apologize at the same time.
"Nice work there, blue samurai. Could have said it better myself." Qrow chuckled as he walks in.
"Thanks." Oscar thanked Futayo who smiles back at him.
Soon, everyone has taken a sit on the couches while Futayo and Ren are the only ones standing as they didn't mind, and Oscar look at Ruby with the innocent smile as she giggles a little.
"Ah, sorry! It's just I've never really met Huntsmen and Huntresses before." Oscar said, briefly looking away.
"Well, uh... we've never met a person with two souls! So, first times all around." Ruby said.
This made Oscar laughs a little and looking happy, Futayo notice this and made that he is at least starting to make a new friend here as he used to live with his aunt on the farm for most of his life.
"Not to break up the whole 'getting-to-know-you' game, but we need to have a talk. Mind showing us your little parlor trick, kid?" Qrow asked the farm boy who groans.
"I know it feels weird to you, Oscar, but this is how it is according to my father." Futayo said.
"Okay, okay…" Oscar nodded and look to Ruby and her friends.
"Just so you know, I'll still be here." Oscar said.
This confuses the teens wondering what he meant though a bit curious to see what will happen next. Oscar closes his eyes and lower his head a little, then suddenly his body glows of green and white for a second and he opens his eyes as they glow and look toward team RJNRK.
"It is so very good to see you again, students." "Oscar" said with a familiar voice overlapping Oscar's voice.
This causes the five teens' eyes widen of shock as they know who that voice belongs too.
"Wait, what just happened?" Jaune asked.
"I think we already know." Kimi said.
"Professor… Ozpin?" Ruby asked, feeling a little freak out right now.
"Correct. And though I may be the one speaking, Oscar is still present mentally. He's merely handed over the control, so to speak." Ozpin mentioned.
"(Just don't make us do anything embarrassing...)" Oscar said as Ozpin rolled his eyes.
"I'm afraid this all must be very perplexing." Ozpin said.
"And alarming, and bizarre, and just really kind of hard to believe overall!" Nora said trying to process all of this.
"It's good to see you children still have your sense of humor." Ozpin chuckled, then his expression changed to frown.
"I know you've all been through tremendous hardship already. I'm sorry." Ozpin apologized.
"I mean, it's not your fault." Ruby said.
"It's all my fault. I told you once that I made more mistakes than any man, woman, and child on this planet, and I wasn't exaggerating. I'm... cursed. For thousands of years, I've walked the surface of Remnant, living, dying, and reincarnating in the body of a like-minded soul. The Professor Ozpin you all met was not my first form, and clearly wasn't my last. It's... an extraordinarily strenuous process on everyone involved." Ozpin revealed about himself.
"So, who... what... are you?" Jaune asked.
"Yes, do we still call you Ozpin or would like to go by another name now?" Kimi asked as well.
Meanwhile, Qrow got up from the couch he was sitting on to walk into the kitchen getting a cup of drink for Ozpin, he came back and handed that cup to him before sitting back down on the couch.
"You can all still call me Ozpin. As for what I am, I am the combination of countless men who've spent their lives trying to protect the people of Remnant. With every rebirth, my soul is eventually merged with another and I am changed, but my memories stay with me. This curse was bestowed upon me by the Gods, because I failed to stop Salem in the past. But we must stop her now." Ozpin determined to carry on his mission through to the end.
"And how do we do that?" Ruby asked.
"Obviously, we must prepare ourselves for the coming battle that we may not come back from alive." Futayo answered seriously.
"Could you not say that with a straight face." Ren said sweatdrop.
"What she said is only part of that. We start... by ensuring the safety of the Relic of Knowledge." Ozpin suggested.
"Okay, so what about Futayo? How do you know all this?" Jaune wondered.
"It's been my family's duty to help the Soul Savior, as we like to call Ozpin's reincarnation ability, for 400 years and each life Ozpin has been reborn in, one member of the Honda clan is task of protecting and fighting alongside that person he is from then to now. My father was the previous protector for Ozpin, but he was ordered to help protect the Musashi Kingdom." Futayo explained about her family's duties.
"Wow, talk about having your own private one-man army!" Nora amazed.
"I think you fit the bill for Ren as well." Kimi complimented making Nora blush, hugging Ren's arm into her breasts making him blush with a smile.
"So, when Ozpin died back in Beacon, does that mean your dad is out of the job?" Ruby asked.
"Yes, my father felt devastated when we saw the broadcast about Vale being attacked by Grimm and the news of Ozpin's death hit him hard. I remember how much he would drink for two weeks." Futayo remembered how sad and stupid looking her father saw back then drinking so much saki.
"It's not easy getting over the lost of those close to you." Jaune exclaimed.
"But even so, my father managed to put himself together with the help of his friends, my mother, and myself. Then he started training as it is my turn to carry on the family legacy to assist the next Soul Savior." Futayo explained.
"So, how did you met Oscar?" Ruby asked.
"A fortune-teller who lives in Musashi told me about Oscar being Ozpin's Successor, it was then I have to be by his side at all times so I can protect and fight alongside him in battle where my father failed." Futayo answered with determination in her eyes.
"(I'm still surprise she managed to find out where I lived.)" Oscar said in his head.
"Does that include wanting to bath with him in the shower?" Kimi teased which causes Oscar to blush inside his head.
Then suddenly Nora blitzes to Ozpin's side on the left as Futayo is standing on the right side.
"This is perfect! We were stuck at a dead end, but now, we can just take little cute boy Ozpin to Lionheart and have him set things straight!" Nora suggested cheerfully and excited.
"Please don't call me that." Ozpin said, not liking the nickname.
"I believe Oscar would also dislike the nickname as well." Futayo said.
"We're not sure that's the best idea." Qrow said making Nora groan and sat back down.
"To be honest, we have actually started suspecting Professor Lionheart when Kimi mentioned that his behavior was off." Jaune informed.
"Glad you paid close attention; they say women's intuition is just as good as a gut feeling for these kinds of things." Qrow commented.
"Thank you, Makiko and my mother taught how be able to tell how others are being weird like how I was able to see through my foolish little brother's lie when we were kids and he ripped a hole on my favorite dress. Oh, I remember how pain it was when I punished him." Kimi bragged making everyone sweatdrop around her.
"Uh, Kimi… let just get back to what we were talking about." Jaune said.
"So, Professor Lionheart is supposed to take orders from like the rest of the Headmasters?" Ren asked.
"That was the intention. Four lieutenants I can trust, especially during times of reincarnation. But Qrow told me about your meeting with Leonardo and now hearing your suspicions on him definitely proves more." Ozpin stands up and walked up to the painting of Mistral Kingdom painting.
"He isn't just behaving irrationally; he's disobeying specific instructions I had left him. Something's wrong. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I don't want to rule out any possibilities, either." Ozpin said.
"Like the possibility of him being forced to changed sides to Salem because of his cowardly nature." Kimi guessed.
"…If that is the case then we might need to prepare ourselves for the worst." Ozpin sighed.
"Then allow me to punish him for this betrayal!" Futayo volunteered taking out her spear swirling it around and strike a fierce pose.
"Wait, we don't know that for sure, but like Kimi said we have to be careful around him." Ruby stated.
"Indeed, Miss Rose. No one outside of this room knows that I've paired with Oscar, and I think it may be best to keep it that way." Ozpin planned.
"Play things close to the chest until we get a better hand." Qrow added.
"And save our wild card for the right moment to use it." Kimi said confident.
"Can I be the wild card?" Futayo asked with a raise hand.
"Wait, we're playing cards now?" Nora puzzled.
"No, Nora, they didn't literally mean cards. As in a secret plan or weapon to unleash to our enemies as a last resort, you could say." Ren explained, Nora starts to understand it.
"Can there be two wild cards?" Nora asked with a grin.
"Precisely, on most of that. Now, we have two steps ahead of us. The first is enlisting the aid of more Huntsmen." Ozpin said.
"But the Mistral council"
"Doesn't own every Huntsman in the Kingdom, and I've been here enough times to know where we can find some more." Qrow mentioned.
"That goes for the other kingdoms, there are some Huntsmen and Huntresses that lives in each other kingdom though their Hunter license are registered from different kingdoms." Futayo informed.
"Huh, that's interesting to know." Jaune impressed with this new info he just learned.
"So, long as they're trustworthy." Ozpin hoped.
"You can trust them to put up a good fight. I'll throw together a list tonight." Qrow placed his foot on the coffee table, then suddenly one of the legs break and the coffee spilled on the floor due to his bad luck Semblance.
"Good luck with that." Nora laughed a bit.
Qrow groans of annoyance that his Semblance keeps making things hard for him even just it having a friendly and serous conversation right now, he cleans up the mess and take the broken pieces of the cup to be thrown away in the trash.
"After that, we can move on to step two." Ozpin walked to the chair-couch and took the cane he calls The Long Memory in his hand.
"What's step two?" Nora wondered.
"Getting you four into fighting shape." Ozpin answered making the teens confuse as they look at each other then back at Ozpin.
"But, uh, we already know how to fight." Ruby pointed out, considering they had training back in Beacon (Musashi Academy for Kimi) and have been training during their travel.
"You can only fight so long as you have Crescent Rose, but you're still lacking in hand-to-hand combat." Ozpin lectured as he pointed his cane right at Ruby's nose.
"Well, uh, yeah." Ruby surrendered to her former Headmaster's words.
"Mr. Arc, I'm glad to hear you've improved, but sorry to say, you've yet to unlock your Semblance. All of you still have a-ways to go before you're ready to pose any real threat against Salem and her forces." Ozpin said making Jaune look down in shame.
"Don't worry, honey, you'll discover your Semblance soon." Kimi patted his head.
"Kimi, does your Semblance still have trouble with long-range attacks?" Futayo asked.
"I believe so, but I've been doing good on my dodging." Kimi answered with a sexually smile.
"I will have to take a look myself once we begin training." Futayo said.
"And though Oscar can give me temporary control, he'll need to strengthen his body and his Aura." Ozpin mentioned.
"(Wait, what?)" Oscar puzzled.
"He'll inherit my muscle memory in time, but practice will expedite the process." Ozpin stated.
"But if Qrow's out looking for Huntsmen, then who's going to teach us?" Ruby wondered.
Immediately after Ruby asked that question, Ozpin propelled himself into the air with his cane doing a few counterclockwise barrel rolls and landed on the top part of the chair twirling around his cane.
"Well, I believe I was the Headmaster of Beacon Academy." Ozpin reminded.
All of Team RJNRK was all shock, amazes, and impress with Ozpin being able to move so well like that despite being in a different body.
"We have approximately one month before classes resume at Haven. If Salem were to plan an attack, it would make sense that it would occur prior to students' return. It's not much time, but it's better than nothing. Just don't expect me to go easy on you." Ozpin smirked.
"We wouldn't have it any other way." Kimi said, ready to get stronger to defend Mistral.
"Good." Ozpin nodded and the body glows switching Oscar back in control.
But because Oscar is back in control, he had a hard time keeping his balance on the chair and fall backward though Futayo catches him in her arms though doing it bridely style.
"You've gotta be kidding me." Oscar groaned and embarrassed of being held like this.
"(Yang, Blake, Weiss, if you guys were here right now then I know you would agree to do this too.)" Ruby thought smiled.
(With Yang)
Yang is seen driving her motorcycle through the path before stopping at a gas station to refuel her Bumblebee and get a drink too.
(With Weiss)
Weiss is seen being held trap inside a cage within the Branwen Tribe camp as she is their prisoner for money to trade her to her father, but she had a confident smile on her face and her hands glow of her Glyph.
(With Blake)
Blake is seen on her homeland, Menagerie, looking onward at the small town as she is determine to get the Faunus to join her cause to stopping the White Fang from attacking Haven Academy, Sun is seen walking up to her.
(Back with Team RJNRK)
"Okay team, let show Cinder what we're made of!" Ruby determined as everyone is also determine looking ahead as they stare into the future.

Everyone has learned about Ozpin's curse and his mission to stop Salem once and for all, they also learned about Futayo's family duty explaining why she is appointed to be Oscar's bodyguard. The team will have to train hard to be ready for whatever danger they will soon face in one month, and soon the reunion of Team RWBY will happen making their numbers and strength stronger than ever.
