Tearful Reunion Through a Black Portal
Qrow is seen walking out of the house with Jaune and Kimi behind as they said their goodbyes to everyone as they decided to stay behind to make dinner for the other Hunters they'll be bringing.
"You know, you two didn't have to come with me just to find some Hunters I know." Qrow said.
"I think it would be better for the search and recruit to go faster if you had more people." Jaune pointed out.
"Plus, it's boring to do nothing." Kimi added with a smirk.
"That's only because you didn't feel like doing anything like helping with the cleaning and the cooking." Jaune deadpanned and Kimi just giggles.
"Okay, well, just be sure to mention my name and they should understand that I need their help." Qrow instructed.
"Just out of curiosity, do you owe some of the Huntsmen and Huntresses you met some money or anything?" Jaune asked.
"Let just say we went on good terms with each other." Qrow chuckled.
"Why do I feel like there is more than what you're telling us?" Jaune sensed something odd about what Qrow is saying.
"Just go find the ones I told you to go and let's meet up at the mission board in an hour." Qrow said before walking away in one direction.
"Bye, bye, we'll let Ruby know if you get arrest for over drinking." Kimi waved goodbye.
"It almost sound like you wanted him to get arrest." Jaune puzzled.
"Come now, I was giving him a warning to behave if he doesn't want to be scolded by his own niece." Kimi proclaimed.
"Let just go find some Hunters." Jaune sighed.
Jaune and Kimi walk around through the neighboring street of the Mistral City to find whatever the Huntsmen and Huntresses to recruit for their cause to save Haven Academy, but the first two Huntsmen weren't available because they are still out on missions.
"Okay, this house is where Heather should live." Jaune said looking at the small house.
"Do you think by chance that all the Hunters Qrow listed would be absent on missions?" Kimi asked thinking this is strange.
"Kimi, come on, no way that many Hunters would be go on missions and not be back at this time." Jaune stated.
"I'm just saying." Kimi shrugged.
Jaune knocks on the door, and they waited for several seconds until a man door it.
"What do you want?" The man asked with a slight angry glare.
"We're really sorry to bother you, but we were hoping to find Miss Heather Shield for a mission." Jaune said being friendly.
"Huh, aren't you two a little young to be Hunters and I seem to recall that the Haven school isn't open yet." The man asked.
"Well, we're on outside school assignment for extra credit, got to keep up with our training." Kimi said playfully as a lie.
"Oh, is that right?" The man surprised.
"Anyway, is Miss Heather Shield here?" Jaune asked.
"Sorry, but my wife hasn't come back from the mission she went on." The man revealing himself as Heather's husband mentioned.
"Daddy?" A small girl walked up to Mister Shield.
"Does he know where Mommy is?" The small girl asked feeling sad.
"No, they actually came to see if she is here." Mister Shield answered sadly.
"Oh, well, thank you for your time." Jaune thanked as he and Kimi walks away.
"Well, she wasn't here either." Jaune sighed and crossed Heather's name off the list.
"Oh dear, then that means hunch about missing Hunters might be right." Kimi said.
"Come on, don't say it like that. I'm pretty sure the missions they have gone to are taking longer than expected." Jaune stated, hoping he is right about that.
However, Jaune is about to find out that he is wrong as he and Kimi visited the homes and other places some of the Hunters live and hang out at only to find out that none of them are home with the say story that they're on missions and taking longer to come back.
"This… This doesn't make any sense." Jaune shocked.
"It looks like fate has a cruel way of proving that I was right." Kimi said, but not feeling proud about it.
"Let see if Qrow had better luck than us." Jaune suggested.
"I doubt that." Kimi said.
Jaune and Kimi went to the leaderboard where they found Qrow staring at the board and onto his Scroll seeing the names of all the Huntsmen and Huntresses who are unavailable, just like the ones the Arc-Aoi couple tried to find.
"I take it you didn't find any help?" Jaune asked getting Qrow's attention.
"Not one, not a fucking damn one was around at all." Qrow answered sighing.
"Same with us." Kimi informed.
"Well, we better head back and prepare ourselves to give everyone the bad news." Qrow walked away from the leaderboard with his head looking down a little.
Seeing there is no other choice, Jaune and Kimi follow the older Huntsman back to the house wondering how the others are going to react with the bad news.
They arrive back home, but Jaune and Qrow didn't feel like going back inside as they look outside for a moment and Kimi decided to stay outside too to help Jaune get comfy until he is ready.
"This isn't right. I get one or two of them, but... all of them?" Qrow said trying to make sense in all of this.
"When you think about it, it was almost like something, or someone had sent those people out on missions at once." Jaune theorized.
"Could be Salem's goons making those Hunters going on missions only to be killed like from that Tyrian creep." Kimi guessed too.
"If that's the case then we're screwed." Qrow feared.
"Well, might as well tell the others." Jaune sighed as he turns around.
But just as he did, a black portal appeared out of nowhere causing Jaune to jump in both fear and surprise as Kimi and Qrow see this too.
"What in Remnant is that?" Kimi gapsed.
"Raven?" Qrow surprised, wondering what could that bitch of a sister what with him now.
However, what came out of the portal is not his sister Raven and instead came out is Yang and Weiss riding on the bumblebee motorcycle.
"Yang? Weiss?" Jaune gasped.
"Goodness, I didn't think one of you would evolve your Semblance to create portals." Kimi surprised.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but we don't put a "hole" in the shortcut to you." Yang punned.
"My god, that awful pun. It really is you." Qrow chuckled.
"Must you do something like upon meeting with Jaune for the first time in months?" Weiss asked with a deadpan expression.
"Come on, my jokes are always funny." Yang proclaimed.
"Ah yes, I remember you always doing those awful jokes that even dead relatives wouldn't laugh." Kimi shrugged.
"Hey, I remember you! The girl from the Musashi kingdom with the dancing combat style, didn't think I see you again." Yang recognized the girl.
"You've forgotten on detail." Kimi pulled Jaune in, hugging his arm into her breasts.
"I'm officially married to Jaune and I'm a Misses Arc-Aoi!" Kimi revealed proudly causing Yang and Weiss to gasp.
"What the fuck?! Jaune, you're fucking married!" Yang shocked.
"Y-Yeah, I'm pretty sure Ruby tried to tell you back in Patch." Jaune mentioned, chuckling nervously.
"Oh, now that you mention it, I think I remember Ruby mentioning about that." Yang recalled.
"In that case, then congrats on the marriage, yellow knight." Yang patted onto Jaune's back so strong that he almost fell over.
"Th-Thanks, Yang." Jaune chuckled.
"Hold it right there, I'm getting a weird vibe that your marriage was drunken like a couple of idiots." Weiss glared at the two.
"Oh, well, huh… About that." Jaune tried to come up with an explanation to tell Weiss how he and Kimi got together.
"Wow, you are certainly correct. Jaune and I are married through drunk, and we have no regrets." Kimi admitted proudly.
This causes Weiss to glare at Jaune like she is emitting a scary white aura as Jaune feels like he is being starred by the eyes of death herself.
"H-Hey, just so you know! Ruby is here too, along with Ren and Nora, and a couple of new faces that you'll meet." Jaune mentioned.
"He's right, I think it's time we give Ruby a surprise she'll never forget." Qrow nodded.
Yang and Weiss look at each other for a moment, realizing they're about to meet their friend and little sister for the first time in several months and now they're about to have a big reunion with her.
"Let's go in." Yang nodded, exciting to see her little sister again.
(Inside the House)
Ruby and the others are setting up the table with the former and Ren are doing the cooking in the kitchen, Nora is cutting the carrots though eating a few slices occasionally, Futayo and Oscar are setting up the table.
"Alright, the first batch is just about done." Ren believed.
"Awesome! Now we just need Qrow, Jaune and Kimi, and we'll be all set." Ruby smiled.
"Do you really think they're gonna bring that many people? This is a lot of food." Nora asked, still eating some carrots.
"Uh, I don't know, but it sounds like we could use all the help we can get." Ruby pointed out.
"I will put them to the test to see if they can stare at death in the eyes!" Futayo clutched her fist.
"Futayo, we're trying to welcome them into our group, not scare them off." Oscar reminded his guardian.
"Hey guys, we're back!" Jaune called out.
"And we brought guests like we promised!" Kimi added.
"Be right there!" Ruby responded.
"You're going to overcook that." Ren alerted of the pan Ruby is using.
"No, I'm not, shut up!" Ruby said.
"Ruby, didn't you hear we're back?" Qrow asked.
"I'm coming!" Ruby responded, and smoke started to appear from the food she is cooking.
Ruby saw the smoke finally seeing that Ren was right about overcooking while the latter form a small smirk like he just won a game over Ruby.
"Fine! You take over." Ruby admitted defeat and leave this to Ren.
Ruby grabs the tea tray and walk over to the living room while trying to put on a friendly face to meet the Hunters they brought.
"So, we didn't know how many people were coming, so we just cooked all of it." Ruby said.
But when she looks up, she became shocked with gasp causing her to drop the tea tray and breaking the pot and cups, that it wasn't just Qrow, Jaune, and Kimi that came home, but her older sister Yang along with her teammate/best friend Weiss is here as well. Yang smiles of seeing her little sister and approaches her in silence.
"Yang, I... I'm so sorry! I- I should've stayed, and I should've talked to you more! I'd- I just... I wasn't sure if you wanted me around and—" Ruby tried to talk while fighting against the tears.
Bu her words were cut off when Yang embrace Ruby into a warm embrace cut off the little sister's words.
"I love you." Yang smiled.
"I love you too." Ruby sobbed smiling.
Jaune and Kimi smile at each other knowing that Ruby is glad to see Yang after all this time as the others enter the scene wanted to see Ruby having the moment with her big sister.
"I take it those are the two we've been told about?" Futayo asked.
"Yeah, I think so." Oscar said nervously, scratching the back of her head.
Yang and Ruby separate from the hug and the younger leader look to Weiss who is smiling at the scene.
"Weiss." Ruby smiled holding out her arm to the white-haired princess.
Weiss smiles feeling great that she is glad Ruby has remembered her and enter the embrace of the almost full hug of team RWBY.
"Come, I believe dinner is about ready." Ren nodded and walked back to the kitchen.
Then everyone started having dinner together while getting to know the others meeting with Oscar and Futayo and telling each other of the thing they went through during their own time.
"How do you lose your map at a time like that?" Yang asked laughing.
"Believe me, I've asked myself the same thing ever since." Jaune said.
"I told you that I should've kept the map, but nope, you made a false claim that you can keep it safe with you." Kimi recalled.
"Hey, how was I supposed to know that I somehow lost the map?" Jaune blushed of embarrassment.
"Hey, but you made up for it, Mister Muscles! You shoulda seen this guy take a giant Grimm head on! And Kimi showed that horse that no beast can touch her except for Jaune." Nora stated.
"Oh yes, we did have our epic moments." Kimi grinned.
"We couldn't have done it without Ruby wearing it down." Jaune said looking at Ruby.
"Uh, me? Did you see Ren during that fight? He was out of control!" Ruby pointed out, remember how Ren was fighting that horse Grimm.
"I'm sorry, I may have lost my temper momentarily." Ren apologized.
"No, no! Out of control as in "awesome"!" Ruby corrected of what she just said.
"Oooohhh. Thank you." Ren smiled and they laugh together.
"You must have felt proud to have avenged your family and the village, you honor them." Futayo complimented.
"Yes, it felt nice too." Ren looked up imaging his parents watching him right now, and Nora smiles leaning her head on his shoulder.
Then moments later, everyone laughed a little harder when Weiss told them about what happened at a party she was at back in Atlas.
"You did not!" Ruby gasped.
"Yeah, right in the middle of the party." Weiss admitted with her hands covering her embarrass face.
"My goodness, it looked like the snow princess has quite the hot temper." Kimi teased.
"HEY-OO!" Yang shouted and she five-high with Kimi.
"Please tell me you let that lady have it." Yang grinned.
"Of course not! Even if I did really want to." Weiss said.
"No way, I don't believe it." Nora grinned crossing her arms of being skeptical.
Weiss decided to prove that by using her summoning Semblance to summon a Boarbatusk right next to Nora growling at the orange hair girl, Nora sees this and jump in surprise falling over from her spot causing everyone to laugh.
Then dinner is nearly over with Yang showing her new robotic arm to everyone as they become amazes of the new arm.
"It's not a replacement for the real thing, but I'll make sure to make good use of it." Yang smirked.
"That's amazing!" Jaune said.
"Have you tried lifting weights with that?" Kimi asked.
"Yeah, and it's durable, just as strong too." Yang answered.
"That is so cool!" Ruby smiled with her eyes were sparkling.
"Wanna bet?" Nora grinned, slamming her elbow on the table as an invite for an arm-wrestling challenge to Yang.
"Nora, please, now's not the time..." Weiss tried to stop this before it could happen.
However, Weiss's protest was ignored, and the arm-wrestling contest was already on the way as Yang and Nora tries to push each other's arm down to whichever side while their friends are cheering for them.
"I don't know who cheer for, but this is exciting." Oscar smiled.
"It definitely feels like the original, I'll give you that!" Nora commented.
"Yep. But it does have some new features!" Yang smirked.
Nora wonders what those new features could be, then her answer came when suddenly she is knocked back to the wall while still holding the new detached still in her hand as everyone else are shocked of this.
"Did Yang… win?" Jaune asked.
"I believe so since it was Nora that went down than just her arm." Kimi pointed out.
Nora finally notices the robotic arm she is still holding and she screams in surprise throwing the arm away and Yang caught to place it back in.
"And that's how I like to do things with a Yang!" Yang punned with a wink.
"I can see why you said her jokes are painful to listen." Futayo said to Kimi.
"Indeed, it's like the devil himself placed a curse on her making whatever jokes she makes will be awful." Kimi shrugged.
"Hey, I heard that!" Yang snapped causing everyone to laugh.

Just when Jaune, Kimi, and Qrow were losing hope of finding more help, Yang and Weiss appeared out of nowhere reuniting with Ruby having a heartful moment and everyone enjoyed a great dinner together.
