It was a peaceful day currently in Elgado Outpost. Gaismagorm has just been defeated, the mystery behind Primordial Malzeno has been solved (well partially), and the Qurio problem has now been partially contained and under control. It could be safe to say that Elgado Outpost was no longer needed and whatever Qurios where left behind could be dealt with Kamura village. But sadly, that wouldnt really set right with the queen of Elgado. Pushing ones problem to another didnt quite sit right with her, so instead Elgado outpost is now a new hang out spot for the hunters guild, that and a new trading route for Elgado and Kamura. Things are rather good. No new mystery to solve, no new hidouse monster causing a rampage (except for a couple of monsters having territorial battles), and most of all, no Elder Dragons causing a rampage.
In short, nature was at peace. Except, for a new monster, or creature, appearing out of nowhere. And this monster isnt quite normal from the other monsters. Its main target was males, and only female hunters make it back in semi one peice. This caused a terrible problem for both hunters and nature. A monster only after human males? And for some reason, some of the female hunters coming back have been acting quite strange. Some kind of new disease? Either way, an investigation has to happen, and only 4 top hunters can figure this out right now... well actually, 3 top hunters and 1 nuisance.
Just then a sneeze from someone wearing a Gargwa helmet came out. He then let out a sniff as he is walking through a thick forest. "Geez, I know we are supposed to be investigating a strange monster, but does it have to live in such a place like this?" He asked, using his Switch Axe to cut away a bush infront of him, continuing through the thick forest.
The current Gargwa helmet wearing hunter is also wearing Base Commander Armor set, although he isnt the Commander of anything. The reason he wears it is because he says 'It makes me look fashionable stronger'. Yet the Gargwa helmet instantly removes any strength he has. Maybe its because it makes him look like some cartoon character, or maybe some freak.
One of the three Hunters following behind him let out a soft sigh. An older hunter behind the Gargwa helmet hunter made the sigh as he was actually quite tired of his antics. "If you dont like it Eric then leave. we are hear for a job and I plan on finishing it." He said.
The Older Hunter has a Bazelgeuse Gunlance on his back as well as wearing Seething Bazelgeuse armor. He has been in the trade for many years and seen a lot of things. His most scaring encounter would probably being Fatalis, destroying his home city. Maybe thats why he's a hunter. So no one else has to experience that pain.
"Hey! Am I not aloud to complain? I mean come on. If there was a monster here, we would see tracks by now." Eric said, His Gargwa helmet beak seems to move as he speaks.
"Listen gentlemen, its fun to hear you guys complain again but we need to set camp. the sky is getting darker. Darius, do you mind finding a suitable place to rest?" A sort of deep womenly voice came from the back.
The person second to last from this current hunting party is a girl currently riding on her Palamute. She is wearing full Goss Harag X armor with a Great Sword to match the armor on her back. The Palamute also wearing the Goss Harag armor with wepon as well.
"Yes Ma'am." The older Hunter Darius said. He let out a loud whistle to call his Palico. The Palico is also wearing Seething Bazelgeuse armor as it hops onto his shoulders. He then started to head away from the group to search for a resting spot.
Eric then let out a dissipated scoff looking away from there current hunting partic leader Carmilla. "Is there something wrong there Eric?" Carmilla asked, having a a strict voice on right now.
Eric knows what shes trying to do, act intimidating as he then sighs. "Yea, why send the older guy to look for a camping spot and not me? I scored the highest in the environmental exams! I know whats good and bad soil!-" He then started rambling on about how he can read the environment there in and know more about it then them.
Carmilla let him ramble for a couple of minutes before putting a stop at it by getting off her Palamute and stabbing her Grear Sword into the ground, making a loud thud. "Quite? Good. Rose, list three reasons why he lost that privlage."
The fourth, and last Hunter had Pukei Pukei x armor on with a Pukei Pukei Insect Glave to match with it. He Plaico also wearing Pukie Pukie armor and wepons on was currently on her shoulder, looking down in the hunter journal she was writing in. She always in her journal about something as she didnt look up until she hear her name. When she did she looked around confused. "Wait, we found the monster already?" Her voice sounding quite young and innocent as she is the newst hunter out of the 4.
Eric let out a small chuckle at Roses unawareness as then Carmilla sighed. "I asked you to list three reasons why Eric can no longer find us camps. And what did i say about your journal?" She said crossing her arms.
"Oh, right. Pay attention where you are or else youll get ambushed?" Rose answered/asked. "As for the three reasons, Eric has left us sleeping next to a cliff that almost collapsed, next to a Tigrex den that almost ended badly, and the time we quicksand almost eat all our supplies. And I didnt have to look at my journal to know that." She said closing her journal and giving it to her Palico, who then put it in his pouch.
Eric was about to say something before Carmilla looked at him with a mean stare. "And thats why you can longer find camps for us. You may be good a tracking and hunting, but not places to sleep." She said before placing her Great Sword back on her back.
"Yea well, the Tigrex den was technically not my fault." Eric grumbled as then a red flare was shot in the sky.
"Looks like Darius found us a little spot to rest. Come on guys, well will continue our search tomorrow." Carmilla said as she then started to walk twards the red flare with her Palamute by her side. Rose soon followed behind.
Eric then let out a whistle, his Palamute popping out of the ground, soon shaking all the dirt off of him looking excited. The Palamutes Knight armor covered in dirt. "Heh, you always find a way to get dirty huh? Anyway, lets head to camp. We are taking a break." He said as he then followed the other two from behind. The Palamute barking and following happily with him.
It was currently dark out with the only thing giving the 4 Hunters light was the stary sky, pale monlight, and the campire in the center of the camp. 4 tents where set up around the fire, the hunters buddies sitting outside the tents as 2 of the 4 hunters sit next to the fire. Rose and Darius.
Eric already probably asleep in his tent while Carmilla is probably writing a letter for the hunters guild in her tent. The fire flickers as Rose continues wrighting inside her journal, occasionally stopping and thinking for a second before going back. Although her writing started to slow down as the night went on, Darius soon noticing this.
"Get some rest little on. Your still young, keep your body as healthy as possible." He said as he then moved the fire around, keeping it lit.
"No no, I cant. Im on *Yawn* first watch with you." Rose said sleepily, her eyes just ready about to shut.
Darius chuckled as he then got up and went next to Rose. "Its not the first time I have kept watch by myself. Come now, your journal will still be here tomorrow." He said as he then helped the sleepy Rose up and brought her to the tent. Without much fight of course as she instantly falled asleep in her sleeping bag, Darius putting her journal next to her sleeping body.
Soon Darius sat back down next to the fire and placed a hand on the back of his neck, flexing it a bit as he hears a few pops coming from it. "Oh, man, I should really let someone look at that." He sighed as he then felt something fuzzy sit next to him.
His Palico cuddling up next to his leg, falling back asleep. He smiled giving his Palico a couple of pats as he then looked around, the dark forest with the occasional bug lighting it up. The stary sky above him. And best of all, comrades that he has hunted with so many times. "Ah, im gonna miss this when its all over." He said, soon opening up his journal. The pages quite full of monsters he met, captured, slayed, and everything else that a hunters journal could need. flipping to the last page, a picture of a younger him and a girl the same age in the picture.
He then let out a small sigh, looking at it and giving him fond memories. "You really think its a good idea to go out this far hunting? We are still rank one!" Darius said, wearing leather armor and his Gunlance looking brand new, straight out of the work shop.
"Of course I think its a great idea. I mean think about it? Brand new hunters capturing a Arzuros straight out of camp! That would have to put us at least rank 3, right?" The girl said, holding her Sword and Sheild ready for combat. There Palicos also coming along, one ready for adventure while the other also as timid as Darius.
"Oh come on. Whats so wrong with picking herbs and slaying a few small monsters?" Darius asked, actually falling behind from the far too energetic girl leading ahead.
"Its too slow! Come on, arent you tired of just waiting around and doing stupid small quests? Im ready to fight a dragon!" She said yelling soon jumping through a bush ready to fight whatever is on the other side.
"Hey wait!" Darius said as he and the Palicos jump through the bush as well, soon spotting a large monster ahead, but not one they where expecting. A Rathalos.
The girl, having her Sword and Shield ready, standing there, sizing up the flying wyvern. Darius on the other hand, scared, tapped the girl on the shoulder. "Come on, lets go. We have no chance against a monster that strong." He said, the Palicos acting the same way as ther human partners.
The Rathalos soon noticed both the humans and Palicos, letting out a growl. It then turns to face them, leaning down to size them up as it spreads its wings, getting ready.
The girl, really wanting to strike looks at the situation. She then grins, ready to charge at the Rathalos before hearing a small cry. The cry coming from behind the Rathalos. Both Darius and the girl look at whats behind the Rathalos to see a baby Rathian, its wing damaged.
Soon Darius, finally seeing what the Rathalos was doing, put a hand on the girls blade and making her put it away. "Put away your wepon. I think I have an idea." He said, soon grabbing his Gunlance and putting it on the ground.
The girl looked at Darius in shock as she tried to keep her sword up. "You crazy? There both monsters tho. They might kill us!" She whispered yelled.
"Just trust me please." He said, looking at the girl. She gave a confused look before complying, putting her sword and sheild down. The Rathalos, also seemed to be less tense.
Soon Darius walked twards the Rathalos slowly, the Rathalos still tense, but allowing him to approach. He then tried to walk around the Rathalos to get the the baby Rathian before he heard a gaint roar.
The roar made Darius snap back to reality and stand straight up. It was still dark out but the fire had fade some and was burning out. He heard a gaint monster roar that sounded like it was in pain. It caused everyone in camp to wake up and pop out of there tents.
"Whats happening?! We being attacked?!" Eric came out in his boxers and still having his Gargwa helmet on ready for battle.
"No, something is out there screaming. Im gonna go check it out." Darius said as then Carmilla came out of her tent, her clothes only partially on, covering up what counts and looking at Darius. "Ill be back. We have to be ready for anything!" He said as he was the only one in armor started to run twards the sounds.
"Alright. Everyone, gear up and lets head out!" Carmilla said as she then went back in her tent to change into her armor. Eric nodding doing the same thing as Rose looked out, to see what was happening.
"Wait, hunting time already? Oh, maybe its another variation!" Rose said excited as she then went back to her tent to change into her gear as well.
As Darius went to the screaming roar he saw what he couldnt think would happen. A Tigrex stuck to a wall, some blue slime forcing him to stay there and even worse, desolving his scales and flesh. "What the?" He asked himself as then his Palico came in next to him, equally shocked.
The Tigrex was fighting hard, trying to get off the wall but screaming in pain as it then released one of its wings. But then, the unimaginable happened as the slime then grabbed the Tigrex wing again and stuck it back onto the wall. The slime was moving all around its body, desolving it and forcing it to stay on the wall.
Darius couldnt believe his eyes as he then nodded no, now focused on saving the monster. "I hope it doesnt try to attack me later." He said as he then took out is Gunlance and stuck it between the monster and the wall, using it to pry the monster away from it. "Come on buddy!" He said as the Palico did the same thing to help the monster.
"Hey! Stop that! This creature ate my husband! It deserves to die!" A mysterious voice called out, catching Darius off gaurd as then the slime then started to desolve both the Gunlance and the Palico wepon.
Darius then took a step back, his wepon falling to the ground withe the tip metled off. His Palico running behind him put of fear, not know whats going on. The slime then started to wrap itself around the Tigrex, slowly desolving as the slime continues to wrap around it. The Tigrex screaming in pain and terror, doing everything in its power to escape but it all being usless in the end.
Soon the other 3 Hunters come, Eric and Carmilla riding on ther Palamute, Rose following behind. All 4 of them now stared at the situation in shock as they have never seen something like this.
Soon it was Eric that broke the silence as he then yelled, "Im sorry, but what is happening! There arent any slime monsters that can do that? Or in mater in fact, slime monsters?!"
"No. No I dont think so. But we have to do something!" Rose said as she then took our her Insect Glave, her Kinsect Exalted Alucanid, floating next to her ready to pry the Tigrex away from the wall.
"No! The slime is highly crossive and will desolve your wepons!" Darius said, stoping the other hunters from doing anything that may harm then.
"Well, what do we do then?! Leave him hear to die?" Eric asked sarcastically as then the slime started to move around more.
This time a weird blob slowly moving away from the Tigrex, but the slime still covering the monster. "You 4 leave now! This has nothing to do with you! This creature will pay for what it did with its life!" The slime said, catching all 4 Hunters off gaurd as well as ther Palamutes and Palicos.
The blob now forming into a surprising curvy women, her breasts being shown for the world, although no nipples to show. Her face looking rather beautiful, as if it was the ideal women for someone. Although she looked beautiful, her body was still slime. "Leave now, or else!" The slime women creature said, it looking ready to attack them.
All 4 where caught off gaurd by this as then Carmilla got off her Palamute. "Listen, I dont know what you are, or why your here, but you have to let that Tigrex go. You cant kill him or else there will be consequences." She said, slowly approaching the slime.
"Consequences? This is nothing more then a vile beast hunter for blood! The only consequences there are going to be is removing this thing from this world." She said as her body then went back to the rest of the slime wrapped around the Tigrex.
Before any of them could react, the slime then forced the Tigrex mouth open, crawling inside it. The hunters seeing this, knew what they had to do and did everything in there power to remove the Tigrex from the wall. "Quickly! We have to free him and stop that slime!" Carmilla orders as all of them then tried to use nearby branches and sticks to pry the Tigrex off the wall.
Although, it was all futile. The Tigrex scream was now muffled from the slime, not only choking to death but also whatever the slime touched from the inside of the Tigrex desolved as well. The Tigrex soon fell to the ground, dead. The slime soon crawling away from its victim, as it once again formed the beautiful looking women, although this time her bust seemed largers, as well as her thighs and butt being thicker.
The 4 hunters looked at the Tigrex, in shock at what happened as they then looked at the slime. The slime smiling with what it jist did and giggles. "Back in my world, this creature would pry on men and use him to get stronger. I suppose th-" Jus before she could say anything else, Eric slashed at her with his Switch Axe in sword mode.
"You idiot! Theres a reason we kept him alive!" He said, the Switch Axe letting out black electricity, indicating the Dragon elemet.
The slime screaming in pain backed away, but was stopped by Carmilla Palamute, it growling with hate. Soon Carmilla coming to the slime left side, Rose on the right side, and Darius, only hold his sheild, behind the slime. The hunters surrounding the slime with there Palamute and Palicos ready to attack. The slime looking scared, backing away.
"W-What element was that? We never had anything like that in our world." The slime said, turing around to see it being surround. "Wait, please, I was just avenging my husband!" She pleaded as then she saw a Great Sword come down on her.
The Great Sword coming down on the slime, splitting her in half but also somehow freezing her still. As Carmilla lifted up her Abominable Frostblade, she saw the now frozen slime split in half. "Eric, go and head back to Elgado Outpost and tell them we have probably found our mystery. And tell them to bring a wagon for the Tigrex." She said, looking at Rose and Darius. "Rose, clean things up at camp and bring it here. Darius, lets find a way to containd this slime longer. I dont think this ice will last forever." She said as she then looked back at the frozen slime.
The 3 other hunters nodded as they then raced off to do what they are told. Eric Riding his Palamute back as Rose ran back to the camp. Darius looking in his puch for any possible traps or tools he could use to hold the slime longer. "I havent seen anything like this before. How about you?" Darius asked Carmilla.
"Your older then me, so I should have asked that question." Carmilla sighed, examining the frozen slime more. "We need to see if there are more of these things out there. And what she ment by husband." She said, hoping what she is theorizing isnt true.
Darius nodded as he then pulled out a vile full of black liquid. The Dragon elemet. "This may work."
