Chapter 3: Anyone for Tennis?
*Thoughts are in italics*
*One week later*
Daisy held her racket in her right hand. She bit her lip and hummed to her self as she thought of her next move. "Are you ready for my back hand?" Daisy bubbled as she made two or three backhanded swings being sure to turn her shoulder in the process. She then switched her racket into her left hand and took a few light forehand swings as she held two balls in her right hand. "Okay here comes my serve and it's going to be an ace" Daisy foreshadowed as she massaged her racket with her right hand while working the two balls gently with her left. Daisy slowly worked on her racket for a while before changing to a brisk pace while alternating some forehand and backhand light swings in between. After she felt was at the right speed she turned her pace up a notch and finally she came to a rapid flow. Daisy brought her racket up towards the edge of it releasing its special move a few times before stopping. She then held her racket down for a while making sure it didn't release it's special just yet. "Almost there". she examined while licking her lips in anticipation. "I think you're good to go" Luigi estimated. "Almost…..just a bit more yes perfect".
*Interior Daisy's Castle in Sarasaland. The happy couple is in the Master Bedroom*
*Luigi's is naked while Daisy is wearing black panties*
Daisy cheered as she released her hold and the racket or should I say rocket launched into outer space and released its cargo load which Daisy joyfully accepted.. "Blast off" Luigi cooed. "Oooooh ace!" Daisy marveled as Luigi's gun finished firing. "Happiness is a warm gun and I have my favorite gun right here. " Daisy proclaimed as she kissed Luigi's rocket and then sat up next to him on the left side of the bed farthest from the door. After Daisy got in close to Luigi she gave him a big smooch on the lips. Daisy mixed in a bit of tongue and Luigi returned her kiss in kind. They cuddled together happily for a while before drifting off to sleep.
*Saturday. Early morning Interior Daisy's Living Room*
*Daisy and Luigi are in their usual attire*
Daisy and Luigi are seated on a daisy colored three cushion couch (no the whole house isn't Daisy colored or themed if that's what you're thinking) In front of Daisy and Luigi sits the bowl full of challenge details and the blind fold. Daisy hands Luigi the blind fold which he quickly puts on. "Ok let's find out where we're having our match and what type of match we're having" Luigi reported as Daisy as nodded her head in accordance. "I really hope we get Snowfall Mountain" Luigi wished "We can take the train there and everything. The court is picturesque. It would be a scenic and fun trip". Luigi smiled. "Oooo let's go Piranha Plant Forest! Luigi would probably be a little wary of the Piranha's but they don't bother me in the least. I could definitely use that to my advantage to claim victory there" Daisy proclaimed as a small grin formed on her face.
Luigi then mixed up the letters in the bowl with his right hand for about 10 seconds or so before taking out a piece of paper out of the bowl. Luigi looked at the challenge which was in Daisy's handwriting it read "Piranha Plant, rapid fire". Luigi squelched a small gulp and bit his lip. "Oh no the one place I didn't want to go. I can't seem too scared or she'll rib me for it for sure. " Cool this looks fun". Luigi feigned praised. "Yes yes. I know can tell from his voice that he's at least a little worried about going there. He seems to be doing a good job of stifling his nerves though he doesn't seem as nervous as I figured he would be. Well least not yet" Daisy assessed.
"This should be a hoot. We're going to change this up from the time Mario did it thought ok? Whomever can get the most Piranha plants in 180 seconds is the winner. You have to at least match Mario's thirty to win though otherwise you're disqualified. Got it?" Daisy illustrated. "What if somehow neither one of us gets thirty?" Luigi queried. "I doubt that will happen but if does we will take whomever hits the most piranhas. in the event of a tie we'll come up with some type of tiebreaker like whomever gets the first piranha the quickest or something. "All right?" Daisy clarified. "Sounds good game on!" Luigi remarked.
*Saturday late afternoon in a dark cave just outside the Piranha Plant Forest*
*Luigi and Daisy are wearing their trademark Mario tennis attire but you can't see it at the moment since the cave is so dark*
"Are you sure we are going the right way? Luigi begged whipping nervous sweat from his forehead. "Of course I am. I studied the map in detail on my phone before we got here I don't even have to use map quest it's just at the end of this cave" Daisy stated with a confident grin. "I'm grinning confidently right now. You just can't see it because it's so dark but I am. Here I'll get my phone out and turn on the flash light. I'll show you how confident I am and maybe while we're at it I'll show you the way to go as well". Daisy proclaimed as she took her phone of her left pocket. "I love her cute confident smile but she doesn't have to show me that right now. The sooner we get to the forest the better. She can show me her cut smile in the light. Hey that sounds good I'll say something like that" Luigi chuckled to himself.
"Daisy this darkness doesn't do your beautiful smile justice. Any artificial light wouldn't be enough. I want to appreciate your smile on the other side in the light. In the light your smile's true beauty will shine though" Luigi professed. "Awwwww Wedgie that's so sweet!" Daisy cheered as she gave Luigi a big hug with her phone still in her right hand. As she gave Luigi the big hug she forgot about her phone and dropped it onto the ground nearby. As she heard a faint drop Daisy instantly realized she forgot about her phone. "Oh crap" Daisy leered. "I dropped my phone we have to find it now. Look every where on the ground for it".
"We just have to find my phone" Daisy replied while bitting her lip nervously. "Okay. I'll help you find it" Luigi assured as they got on their knees searching the ground for Daisy's phone. Daisy bumped over Luigi and reached down around the ground for the phone. As her hands searched for the missing phone her right hand accidentally brushed into Luigi's lap. Daisy felt her right hand grazing over Luigi's banana. Luigi blushes slightly although again due to the darkness Daisy couldn't see him blush. Daisy bit her lip trying to return her mind to her search. "Ooo what the hell. I have to give my Wedgie rocket a quick hello" Daisy hooted. Daisy put her hand into Luigi's shorts.
After a quick hunt Daisy found the rocket she was looking for. Daisy gave Luigi's rocket a gentle tug. "Hey is that a flashlight in your pocket? Or are you just happy to see me?" Daisy teased with a snicker as she gave Luigi's racket a small swing. "Ooooo that's not a flashlight and you know it" Luigi cooed while biting his lip."Are you sure?" Daisy jested as she tugged Luigi's racket a teeny bit harder. "Aaaas much as I like this ooooo" Luigi struggled to get out the words on his mind as Daisy continued handling his rocket. "As gooooood as….." Luigi leered. "Hmm seems like Luigi wants to tell me something. I wonder what's on his mind? It must be important. I'll have to loosen my hold a bit to make this a bit easer for him." Daisy surmised.
Daisy stopped her shake for a bit and released her hold on Luigi's racket to allow him to think a bit clearer. As Daisy let go of his gun Luigi felt himself able to speak the words he so desired. "That's better I can think a bit clearer now" Luigi remarked. "Daisy your handiwork is as brilliant as usual but we're short on time. We haver to find your phone and get to the course before too long. We don't want to lose too much of time and get there too late because this course doesn't have lights or anything" Luigi declared. "Good thinking Luigi. We'll continue our other game later" Daisy piped with a wink. "I'm winking right now but you can't see it". Daisy quipped. "I figured as much" Luigi returned with a giggle. After searching for a bit Luigi finally found Daisy's phone on the ground not too far from where they were seated. Maybe back about twenty feet or so. Luigi handed Daisy her phone back and she turned on the flashlight. She promptly thanked the plumber with a kiss the cheek and she kissed Luigi she saw him blush slightly. "Oooo I can see someone's blushing" Daisy teased as she led the way for Luigi out of the cave and into the piranha plant habitat located just outside the tennis court.
*About 10 minutes or so later*
*Saturday late afternoon*
*Exterior Piranha Plant Forest*
*Daisy and Luigi are now visible in their usual tennis attire*
*Daisy hired some workers to put in a few benches a while back. They are located about 20 yards or so behind the area they will be playing in. The person not currently playing could sit on one of the benches and watch the other as they take on the challenge.*
After flipping a coin Luigi wins the toss. Luigi gets to choose if he wants to go first or second. "I'm going first ! Let's go!" Luigi cheered as Daisy took a seat on one of the benches to watch Luigi. "I'm justing going to warm up for a bit" Luigi spoke. Eight piranha plants form a vine in front of Luigi and they are set up identical to when Mario faced them in Mario Tennis Aces. "Remember you lose five seconds for every small fireball that hits you and ten seconds for every large fireball". Daisy explained as Luigi nodded his head in response. Luigi then took a few minutes to warm up. Luigi did ten single hip rotations, ten hops on the spot and ten single torso rotations. "Luigi's got a good warmup routine" Daisy approved as she watched plumber. "I hope you're ready for this challenge Luigi because I'm going to beat your cute butt very shortly. Hmmm I wonder what color underwear he has on today?" Daisy perused to herself as she blushed slightly.
After Luigi finished his routine he picked up his nearby racket that was lying on the ground. "Okay. Here we go!" Luigi quipped as the timer began. The piranha on the bottom left shot the first tennis ball and Luigi hit and aimed at the piranha plant right in the center and it looked liked a direct hit but at the lest moment the piranha narrowly dodged it's head away from the ball tennis ball and Luigi had missed. "What the? I don't remember the piranha plants being able to doge?" Luigi gasped. "Oh I forgot to mention that I turned on the piranha plant doge feature to make the game a bit more challenging. It was turned off when Mario faced them". Daisy revealed. "Now you tell me". Luigi griped quietly to himself so Daisy couldn't hear him. "I wish she would have told me that sooner" Luigi chided. Luigi shook off his slow start though and went into some kind of a beast mode. Luigi made sure to increase the speed of his attacks to account for the piranha's dodging ability. Luigi did a mix of quick forehands and back hands. With 160 seconds left Luigi had quickly struck 14 piranhas. The last one moved back and got hit by Luigi's shot at the last possible moment. Then Luigi's pace slowed for a bit as he felt himself getting a bit tired.
"I've got to keep going" Luigi cringed as he was narrowly hit by a large fireball and lost ten seconds. "I can't let that happen again. I just have to got to focus. They may be a bit scary looking but they're not that tough. I can do this". Luigi reckoned as he licked his lips Luigi quickly increased his speed again and began a steady stream of forehand and backhand volleys and with 50 seconds left he was already up to 28. "I'm going to do it. I'm going to break Mario's record" he wondered as a piranha quickly hit him with a small fireball. Luigi shook his head as he was hit and lost 5 seconds. But he quickly returned 4 quick hits and was up to 32 with 20 seconds left.
"Yes!" Ha ha! Alright!" Luigi hooted as he was hit by another small fireball and lost 5 seconds. Luigi now had 15 seconds left. "That's it no more Mr nice guy!" Luigi Hollered as he used his special move and quickly warped through a pipe and after he came out the other side he was ready to unleash his special. "Luigi!" he boasted as he aimed his special move for a few seconds. Luigi fired his special and hit the ball at a ludicrous speed and amazingly hit one piranha before bouncing into two more! As time expired Luigi had gotten 35 piranhas. "Great job Luigi impressive!" Daisy applauded as she quickly ran over next to Luigi. "But now it's my turn and I plan on breaking your record" Daisy giggled "What is she giggling about now?" Luigi perused to himself.
*Luigi now sits on the same bench Daisy had used and waits to see what Daisy can do with her turn*
Daisy does a short warm up routine of her own. Daisy performs ten chest expansions, ten side to side hops and ten shoulder rotations. "Hmmm Daisy is in pretty good shape" Luigi marveled as he watcher her warm up. "After Daisy was ready she picked up her racket that was lying on the ground nearby. The piranha on the top right left shot the first tennis ball and Daisy hit and aimed at the piranha plant located at the bottom right. It looked like she had perfect aim but at the lest mli second the piranha narrowly darted its head away from the ball tennis ball and Daisy had missed. Daisy didn't let her miss faze her for a second though. Daisy started a torrid stream of attacks and the few times the piranha tried to zoom the balls past her Daisy was super quick to go back and knock the ball into one the of the waiting piranhas. "After watching her last save Luigi looked on impressed and happened to catch a view of Daisy's back side as she struck the ball. "Wow Daisy looks so cute in her tennis outfit. Her derriere actually looks a bit more shapely than usual. She must be working out. Oooh I'm so happy she's my girl" Luigi cooed with a smile.
With 160 seconds left Daisy had amassed 17 hits, so she was three up on Luigi's pace. Luigi looked on nervously wondering how much energy Daisy had left in the tank. "Oooh this might be very close. I'm a bit worried" he sighed to himself. "Daisy took a few deep breaths and slowed her pace just a tad. "I'm going to pace myself for a bit then when the moments right I'm turning the juice back on." Daisy boasted with a small smile. With 60 seconds left she was up to 27. She then turned on the after burners and appeared as if she were a blur because Luigi's eyes could barely keep up with her amazing speed. With 30 seconds left she was just two behind Luigi's final of thirty three hits. Luigi bit his tongue nervously when suddenly Daisy was shockingly hit by a small fire ball by the bottom right piranha.
The fireball seemed to graze her left arm ever so lightly after she had just hit the piranha in the center. Daisy took a a few deep breaths as she prepared herself to make her final push. Daisy now had just 25 seconds. She promptly retuned two more serves and now with 10 seconds left she had just tied Luigi with thirty five hits. Luigi was literally on the edge of his seat on the bench. He had to stop himself from falling off it a few times. Sweat was dripping from every pore of Luigi's body as he feared with every fiber of his being that he knew what Daisy was about to do and immediately what he had feared came to fruition. Daisy unleashed her special move. "Hey, Hey!" Daisy piped with a wink as she flew up into the air. "Woaaaaah!" she cheered as she aimed her special more for a few seconds. Then Daisy unleashed her special move with identical if not slightly more ludicrous speed than Luigi had with his shot. Daisy hit one piranha before bouncing it into two more in eerily similar fashion to Luigi's. Daisy had done it! With her final combo she had gotten 38 hits! "I didn't know we were playing horse!" Luigi divulged.
"Wow Daisy that was incredible!" Luigi applauded as he got off his bench and quickly went over to Daisy to congratulate her. "That was amazing Daisy" Luigi cheered as he gave her a big hug. "You played great Luigi you were tough to beat" Daisy confided "You play amazing and you look amazing". You must be working out." Luigi professed as he gave Daisy's backside a love tap with is right hand. "Oooooh" Daisy remarked in response to Luigi's love tap. "Well I have been working out my glutes quite a bit" Daisy disclosed as she turned a faint shade of red. "Well your hard work is paying off" Luigi beamed. "Awww thanks Wedgie" Daisy giggled with a small grin. "I had to use everything I had to rise up to the great challenge you gave me" Daisy disclosed as Luigi blushed lightly. "Now there's something else I definitely think can rise to the challenge" Daisy bubbled as she put her hands inside Luigi's shorts. After a quick search she found Luigi's banana and give it a light tweak. "Ooooooo hellooooo" Luigi purred in response as Daisy snickered.
*The Next Morning*
*Sunday*
*Interior Daisy's Castle in Sarasaland.
*Around 11am interior Daisy's Living Room*
Daisy is dressed in her Drill Daisy outfit. It's a stylish black gown with orange trim. Luigi is dressed as Groovigi. Luigi is dressed as a disco king with a barely buttoned green shirt, bell bottom pants and a magnificently tall pompadour.
*The couple is disco dancing as a small disco ball with lights fills up the otherwise dimly light room.* The song Night Fever by the Bee Gees finishes playing. After the song concludes Daisy takes her phone from the table and closes her iTunes app and puts her phone back on the nearby table next to the challenge bowl and blindfold. Daisy turns off the disco ball and Luigi opens the shades letting the sunlight into the room.
Are competitors now sit next to each other on the three cushion couch. The bowl of challenges and the blindfold are on top of the table in front of them. Daisy is the middle seat while Luigi is sitting on the right end seat. Luigi hands Daisy the blind fold which she quickly puts on. Daisy mixes up the letters in the bowl with her right hand for about 10 seconds or so before taking a piece of paper out of the bowl. She took the blind fold off and put it on the table. She then proceed to open the paper in her hand. The challenge was in Luigi's handwriting. "Golf Match. Ooooh golf! Cool there's a lot of fun places we can play" Daisy marveled as Luigi bobbed his head in accordance. "Remember I'm up two to one right now. This is where my hot streak starts" Daisy decreed with a grin. "Maybe not. I almost won last time" Luigi declared. "Almost only counts in horseshoes" Daisy teased while sticking out her tongue. "Well this horse is about to even the score". Luigi vowed.
