WHO...IS...DEADLIEST?

To find out, the history of war and modern science collide, as Biomedical Scientists MatthewRoth applies 21th century technology to unlock new data on some of movies, video game, and comics greatest weapons. ER doctor Dr. Ronald Mack will assets the damage made by these dangerous weapons of war. And Computer Whiz Jesse Jacobs will input the data in the battle simulation that will determine the winner. Two of media's greatest warriors will be put into the battlefield. History will be written. But only one will be crowned:

DEADLIEST WARRIOR!

Welcome to the fight club, where we've set up a high tech battle zone. We've gathered scientists, doctors, computer experts and combat experts. All to simulate a one on one battle between two ancient warriors.

First Up, The Shirai Ryu Ninja, the silent killer of Japan, who fought the mighty Lin Kuei for generations.

Shirai Ryu Ninja Stats:

Appearing From: Mortal Kombat Series

Height: 5'5
Weight: 130lbs
Armor: None
Home Territory: Japan

His next opponent is a dangerous fighter as well:

The Demon Hunter, Sanctuary's vigilante demon killer, who swore to kill all demon-kind.

Demon Hunter Stats:

Appearing From: Diablo 3
Height: 5'4
Weight: 115lbs
Armor: Leather with Steel Gauntlets
Home Territory: Dreadlands

(Shows a young man wearing black and yellow ninja garb on. He has neck length black hair and dark brown eyes. He takes a katana and takes a few swings with it.)

Representing the Shirai Ryu is Takeda Takahashi, the son of famed swordsman Kenshi Takahashi. He is a current member of Earthrealm Special Forces and learned the ways of the Shirai Ryu under the tutelage of Hanzo Hasashi, the former revenant known as Scorpion and current grandmaster of the rebuilt Shirai Ryu.

"These Demon Hunters won't intimidate the Shirai Ryu of old," Takeda said, "They faced off against the Lin Kuei and beat them back."

"The Shirai Ryu were formed by a renegade member of the Lin Kuei, who soon attracted followers by teaching them modified Lin Kuei secrets and techniques. These two clans would become bitter rivals for generations until the Shirai Ryu was destroyed by the Netherrealm sorcerer known as Quan Chi. After the first Netherrealm invasion of Earthrealm, former Shirai Ryu ninja and Revenant Hanzo Hasashi, then known as Scorpion, was brought back to life by Raiden, protector god of Earthrealm. He would later rebuild the Shirai Ryu and turn it into a force of good."

"The last thing this Demon Hunter will see, is a Kunai coming right at them," Takeda said confidently.

The Shirai Ryu come in with a deadly arsenal of Japanese weapons which killed their enemies:

Short Range: Tanto
Mid Range: Katana
Long Range: Shurrikens
Special Weapon: Roped Kunai

Now the Shirai Ryu Ninja takes on an equally deadly opponent.

(Shows a slender woman with long black hair and eyes that glow a dull yellow. She is wearing leather armor on with a hood over her head. She takes a hand held crossbow and aims it at a dummy.)

Representing the Demon Hunter is Valla, A demon hunter herself. She will show us the tactics and weaponry of her fellow hunters.

"The Shirai Ryu are no threat to us," Valla said in cold defiance, "They couldn't kill the demons that killed them, why should we be frightened of them."

"Demon Hunters are a large group of survivors who have sworn to kill all demonic presence in Sanctuary. They're based in the Dreadlands in order to train away from civilized nations that fear them. Half the order is usually out slaying demons, their followers and undead creatures while the other half train those whom they recruit. They will spend their entire lives killing the demons of the Burning Hells until they themselves are killed.

"These Shirai Ryu will learn that messing with us is a death sentence," Valla said.

The Demon Hunters come in with a killer cache of weapons they used to slay their foes:

Short Range: Spiked Gauntlets
Mid Range: Demon HunterLongsword
Long Range: Pistol Crossbow
Special Weapon: Throwing Knife

So how would Sanctuary's cunning slayer of the undead fare against Earthrealm's deadly ninja assassin.

"This is a toss up right now, we need to run some test and get the data I need to see who is the Deadliest Warrior," Jesse said.

In our first series of test, we look at both warriors close range killing tools, for the Shirai Ryu, they bring in:

The Tanto, a deadly close range killer.
(Shows a Shirai Ryu Ninja stab a Lin Kuei member in the back of the neck, killing him almost instantly.)

"The Tanto is a Japanese short blade that the Shirai Ryu would use to kill anybody where a bigger sword would be unwieldy," Weapons crafter Danny Tochigi said as he showed off a completed replica, "They were made of Japanese steel and came in single or double edge versions and it's length varied between five to eleven inches in length."

(Showed the group standing by a gel head and torso encased in Leather Armor and hood. Takeda is armed with the Tanto.)

"OK Takeda, here is a gel dummy that is donning the Leather Armor typically worn my Demon Hunters," Matthew said, "We want to see if this can go through that and see what kind of damage it can do."

"Then stand back and watch me do this," Takeda said.

The group stood back and Takeda went behind the dummy and readied himself.

"ATTACK!" Matthew yelled.

Takeda lunged forward and plunged the knife into the dummy's neck, easily penetrating the leather. He took the knife out and soon made his way towards the front of it and stabbed the dummy four times in the chest before cutting the dummy's wind pipe. He soon stepped back and signaled for the team to stop the test. The host walked up to the dummy with Dr. Ronald coming in to check the damage.

"Your first strike went straight through the armor and right into the back of the neck where the spine meets the neck, meaning he cut all transmission to the brain and killing him instantly. Your next couple of shots went to the abdominal aorta, the biggest blood vessel in the body, this would bleed out and he's dead in seconds. And the final blow was a slash to the throat and cutting the jugular vein, meaning massive bleed out and swift rapid death," Dr. Ronald explained.

"Remember that the design of the tanto is still used today in modern combat knives, like the Recon-1 knife used by Navy SEALS," Takeda said.

While he said this, Valla comes walking beside him, stoned face as she looks at the dummy. Takeda looks over at her.

"What did you think of that?" Takeda asked her.

"Impressive but you'd never get that close to one of us," Valla said to him in a monotone voice.

"Well, lets see what you got Valla," Matthew said.

The Demon Hunter comes fighting back with:

Spiked Gauntlets, Deadly spikes attached to the gauntlets of the Demon Hunter, which turned a punch deadly
(Shows a Demon Hunter kick a Succubus onto the ground and begin to beat it to death his his spiked gauntlets, leaving puncture wounds in it's face.)

"Demon Hunters would wear these kind of gauntlets because if they were disarmed of any of their weapons, they could use these as last ditch weapons," Danny said as he showed off his replicas of said gauntlet, "They're made of steel and the spikes are about two and a half inches thick."

(The group stand by a reset up gel dummy, now garbed in Shirai Ryu clothes. Valla has on the gauntlets)

"OK Valla, same test for you but now we have the black and yellow clothes worn by Shirai Ryu Ninjas," Matthew explained, "Do as much damage as you can."

"Stand Back," Valla said tersely.

The group went to the work station and Valla got into a fighting stance.

"GO!" Matthew yelled.

Valla began to punch the dummy in the chest a few times, the spikes going through the armor with no problem. She then turned to the head of the dummy and she punched it once, the spikes going in and leaving puncture wounds in it, she then proceeds to punch the dummy's head until she busts the skull open. Soon she steps back and signals for the test to end. The group walks over the dummy and Dr. Ronald checks the damage.

"The first set of wounds, all of them together could kill, but you usually need about three inches of penetration to cause major damage, so this one is a delayed kill," Dr. Ronald explained before moving to the head, "This one is a little bit more lethal, The first attack would seriously wound him and when you continued, you put some of his brains on the floor, which means death."

"That all well and good, but a Shirai Ryu Ninja will not just stand there and allow himself to beaten to death," Takeda replied, "He would see this coming and immediately counter attack."

"We'll see soon enough," Valla said to Takeda, matter of factly.

The Shirai Ryu's Tanto or the Demon Hunter's Spike Gauntlets, which weapon gives their warrior the edge in short range weapons?

"This goes to the Shirai Ryu, the Tanto is way more versatile than the spike gauntlets and the Tanto did way more damage," Jesse explained.

Shirai Ryu Ninja or Demon Hunter, which one is the Deadliest Warrior?

When it came to mid range combat, swords were their go to weapons. The Shirai Ryu come in with:

The Katana, the legendary sword of Japan
(Shows a Shirai Ryu Ninja decapitating a samurai, his head falls off his body.)

"This weapon is probably the most famous sword in history," Danny said as he showed off a replica he had just made, "It is made of tapered Japanese steel and is a single edged. It can be anywhere from twenty three to twenty eight inches in length.

(Shows the group standing by a pig carcass suspend by a zip line and a gel-dummy clad in leather armor. Takeda is armed with his sword.)

"OK, here is the test," Matthew said, "First we have a pig on a zipline, you'll take a slash at it as it comes charges at you. Then we have a gel-dummy set up with the armor for you to do a slash and a stab. So Takeda, you're up first with the katana."

Takeda walked up to a starting line and got his sword at the ready.

"RELEASE THE PIG!" Matthew yelled.

The pig was released and Takeda waited for it to come into range and he slashed at it, cutting it straight in half. He soon stepped up to the gel-dummy and slashed it across the chest, going straight through the armor and creating a large slash wound. He soon took his katana and stabbed the opponent in the neck with it, causing blood to come cascading down the dummy. Takeda soon removed the blade, used his sleeve to clean the fake blood off his blade and sheathed it. He backed up to let Dr. Ronald check the damage.

"Right off the bat, your blade managed to cut straight through this pig, meaning almost instant death," Dr. Ronald said as he crouched down to check the damage.

"Back in Feudal Japan, if a katana could cut a man in half, it was called a one body blade," Takeda said, "From history, we know there were two or three body blades."

Dr. Ronald then went over to the gel-dummy.

"The slash was deep, it caused severe bleeding and would likely kill, but it would be delayed. However it would likely incapacitate the man, making him a siting duck for a follow up kill shot. Now the last shot is a shot right to the neck and you got him in the jugular, meaning he bleeds out quickly and dies," Dr. Ronald explained.

"This is indeed a fine weapon but I believe my weapon is far superior," Valla said.

"Lets see what you got then," Takeda countered.

The Demon Hunter come slashing back with:

The Demon Hunter Longsword, a double edge killer that could lop off heads and limbs
(Shows a Demon Hunter decapitate a demon cult worshiper with her sword.)

"The longsword Demon Hunters are known to use are very similar to Celtic longswords, meaning they were double edged and about three feet in length. The down side is that their sword tips were rounded and made them ill suited for stabbing but they were great at slashing," Danny said as he showed off a completed sword

(The group are standing at the test area with the test having been reset with a fresh pig carcass and a gel-dummy with Shirai Ryu cloth clothes on it.)

"OK we have the same test for you Valla but instead of a slash and a stab, we're giving you two slashes with the dummy," Matthew said.

She simply nodded and got ready at the line, waiting for the team to set up and give her the signal.

"RELEASE THE PIG!" Matthew yelled.

The pig came flying down the zipline and when it was in range, Valla struck at the pig. The longsword almost went straight through it, only leaving some of the pig's lower half hanging on by a thread of flesh. Valla walked up to the dummy and slashed it across the dummy's chest and causing a similar wound to the katana. She then slashed at the dummy's neck with the other side of the longsword and decapitate the dummy, it's steel neckbone saving it. When Valla was done, she took out a cloth and cleaned the blade off and sheathed it. Dr. Ronald soon walked in to check the damage.

"First up is the pig and you damn near cut him in half but it would still be a kill. Now for the dummy, you caused a similar wound as the katana, meaning the same result. For your last attack, you decapitated him, which means instant death," Dr. Ronald explained.

"We Demon Hunters specialize in decapitation, it's the quickest way to kill demons and the undead," Valla said.

Shirai Ryu Ninja's Katana or Demon Hunter's Longsword, which blade gives their warrior the edge?

"This is really even in my mind. Both of these weapons are primarily slashing weapons, while the katana has better stabbing abilities, it's only single edged. The longsword has a double edge giving it a second edge for which to kill," Jesse explained.

In Mid Range Weapons, EDGE: Even

Next up, The Shirai Ryu Ninja come in with a deadly throwing weapon while the Demon Hunter fires back with a hand held killing machine! And later we will see who is the DEADLIEST WARRIOR!

XXXXXX

We're getting closer to a death match between Earthrealm's Shirai Ryu Ninja and Sanctuary's Demon Hunter. Now we test the warriors long range weapons. The Shirai Ryu Ninja come in with:

Shurikens, Rings of razor sharp steel
(Shows a Shirai Ryu Ninja throw a Shuriken at a Lin Kuei members neck, hitting him in the throat.)

"Shurikens were made out of everydat items, like washers, needles and coins. There were many types of shurikens but the most famous was the Hira-Shuriken, also known as Ninja Stars," Danny said as he shows off a row of completed shurikens.

(The group is standing by a gel-dummy with leather armor on it. Takeda is holding several shurikens.)

"OK, here is your test Takeda," Matthew said, "We have this gel-dummy set up with Demon Hunter leather armor on. We want to see if the shurikens can go through the armor."

Takeda nodded and walked up to the starting line and prepared to throw his weapons.

"GO!" Matthew yelled.

Takeda threw on of his shurikens as hard as he could into the gel-dummy, he managed to penetrate the armor, but just barely. He threw two more into the leather armor and they stuck as well and he soon finished up with a shuriken to the face. He soon stopped the test and allowed Dr. Ronald to see the damage.

"You did managed to penetrate the armor but lets see how deep," Dr. Ronald said as he pulled out the three shuriken and checked the wounds, "You managed to get about an inch deep with each one, it would cause bleeding and pain but their no kill shots. The other shuriken hit the dummy straight in the right eye, which would not only cause extreme pain but blind the person. It's not a killing blow but it would definitely disorient the opponent enough for a killing strike."

"These are not weapons, their toys," Valla said unimpressed, "I'll show you a real weapon."

"Can't wait to see this," Takeda said dismissively.

The Demon Hunter comes in with their signature weapon:

The Pistol Crossbow, a crossbow that can held with one or two hands.
(Shows a Demon Hunter fire a pistol at a wrenched mother, hitting her in the eye.)

"The pistol crossbow is the signature weapon of the Demon Hunters," Danny said as he showed off a model, "It has an automatic reload function so the Hunter can fire multiple shots before reloading bolts. They can fire off five bolts before needing a reload."

(Shows the group standing by a gel-dummy with Shirai Ryu clothes on it, Valla is armed with one Pistol Crossbow.)

"OK Valla, we have the same test with you, you'll be given five bolts to work with," Matthew said.

Valla simply walked up to the firing line and she get ready to fire.

"Fire at will!" Matthew shouted.

Valla takes aim and fires a bolt straight to the shoulder, her crossbow reloads and she fires another round into the opposite should. Another automatic reload and she fires at the dummy and scores a chest shot. After another reload, she fires at the dummy's neck, striking it right in the middle. Valla's crossbow loads her last bolt and she fire it directly at in the eye of the dummy. With her test done, she lowers her crossbow and allows Dr. Ronald to check the damage.

"Lets take a look here, the first two shots are not fatal but they would definitely disable the arms. The next shot hit the abdominal aorta, the biggest blood vessel in the body, meaning he bleeds out quickly and dies. The throat shot would also bleed out for a kill. And then there is the icing on the cake, he would feel the impact of the bolt going into his eye, hemorrhage and die," Dr. Ronald explained.

"That is a messed up way to die," Jesse said.

"Problem is that no Shirai Ryu would stand still and get shot, he would be on the move, looking for the prefect strike to kill you," Takeda retorted.

"That doesn't matter, my crossbow is more lethal than so called ninja stars. I can hit you at more of a distance, your clothes can't deflect the bolts and your little stars can't penetrate our armor," Valla said back to him.

The Shirai Ryu Ninja's Shurikens or the Demon Hunter's Pistol Crossbow, which weapon gives their warrior the edge in long range weapons?

"This goes to the Pistol Crossbow hands down. Valla points are valid, it has more range and the Shirai Ryu have no way of protecting themselves from the bolt if it hits," Jesse said.

In Long Range Weapons, EDGE: Demon Hunter

Up next, the signature weapon of the Shirai Ryu takes on a lethal projectile and later we will decided who is THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!

XXXX

In our last series of test, we test the warriors special weapons. The Shirai Ryu bring in their most iconic weapon:

The Roped Kunai, a kunai attached to a rope that could force an opponent to it's user.
(Shows a Shirai Ryu Ninja throw the roped kunai at a Lin Kuei member and strike him in the chest, then yanks him towards him.)

"The roped kunai is what it says it is, the Shirai Ryu took a type of Japanese dagger known as a Kunai and put a length of rope on it. It is said it's a derivative of the Chinese rope dart and it's thrown at an opponent and if it sinks into the opponent, it will allow the Shirai Ryu to yank the opponent towards them," Danny said as he showed off a model of it provided to him by Takeda.

(Shows the group standing by a duo of dummies set up with Demon Hunter leather armor on. Takeda is armed with the rope kunai.)

"OK so here is your test, we want to use the roped kunai to see the accuracy of it along with it's killing potential," Matthew said.

Takeda nodded and he walked up to the starting line and waited for the signal.

"GO!" Matthew yelled out.

Takeda takes his aim at the left dummy and threw the kunai in the shoulder of the dummy, the blade going straight through the armor. He soon took hold of the rope and yank as hard as he could and the dummy was yanked a few feet forward and it fell on it's face. After taking his time to remove the kunai from the dummy and walking back to the starting line. He took aim and threw the kunai again and this time the dagger went into the dummy's chest. He again yanks the rope to yank the dummy to the ground. After that, Takeda simply allowed the dagger to remain in the dummy while Dr. Ronald check the damage.

"The first dummy, the kunai deep into the shoulder and it disabled the arm, then there is the fact that once you yanked him, he fell face first. At best you'd get a concussion and a worst you could have done would be a fractured skull, which could kill. Now for the next one, it went into the chest and hit the abnormal aorta, which mean this person would bleed out quickly and die," Dr. Ronald explained.

"Yet again I'm not impressed," Valla said dismissively, "What happens if you miss your opponent, you won't have enough time to reacquire the weapon before a Demon Hunter puts a bolt through your eye."

"And I suppose you have a weapon that's better?" Takeda answered.

"Yes, I do," Valla said.

The Demon Hunter comes back with:

Throwing Knives, deadly blades that are hurled with deadly accuracy
(Shows a Demon Hunter throw a knife into the face of demon.)

"The Throwing Knives the demon hunters carried weren't like the small ones carried by the Renaissance Assassins. They are big, about the size of a Ka-Bar and they were designed primarily for throwing but they could be used as melee weapons if needed," Danny said as he showed a row of completed throwing knives.

(Shows the group standing by several gel-dummies, all of them dressed in Shirai Ryu clothing. Valla is armed with several throwing knives.)

"OK, we have several dummies set up to see the accuracy and damage you can inflict with your throwing knives," Matthew explained.

Valla simply nodded and soon walked to the starting line, where she waited for the go ahead.

"GO!" Matthew yelled.

Valla threw her first knife and it landed straight into the gel dummy's chest, she then threw another and it went the dummy's face. She switched her aim to the second dummy and threw a knife, which into the gut, she then threw another one and it landed into the shoulder. She then turned to the last dummy and she took out two knives and threw them simultaneously, both going the chest area. With her test complete, Valla allowed Dr. Ronald to check the damage.

"Looking at the first dummy, both these strikes are lethal, first one hit the abdominal aorta and the second would hit the brain, both instant kills. The next dummy, the gut shot would likely kill but it's delayed. The shoulder shot would not kill but it will disable the arm. And for the last dummy, is a kill because she managed to hit both the abdominal aorta and the heart at the same time, meaning she killed this man two times over," Dr. Ronald explained.

"Again, a Shirai Ryu Ninja will not just stand and allow himself to be hit with this," Takeda said.

"I think you just don't want to admit that my knives are far superior to your little rope trick," Valla said back.

The Shirai Ryu Ninja's Rope Kunai or the Demon Hunter's Throwing Knives, which weapon gives their opponent the edge in Special Weapons?

"While the Roped Kunai did have some lethal potential, the Throwing Knives have this. Valla showed that they are accurate and Demon Hunters are known to carry a lot of them on their person, meaning they have a lot to spare compared to the Roped Kunai, which could miss it's target and they only have one on them most of the time," Jesse explained.

In Special Weapons, EDGE: Demon Hunter

Now we evaluate both warriors X-Factor, one defining attribute they alone carry into the fight. For they Shirai Ryu Ninja, is his experience in beating back the Lin Kuei, a more powerful and experience sect of assassins.

"The Shirai Ryu managed time and again to beat back the Lin Kuei, who were more powerful, more well equipped and had more connections than us. They never truly beat us, it took Quan Chi, a Netherrealm sorcerer and his deception to kill off the original Shirai Ryu," Takeda explained.

The Demon Hunter's X-Factor is their burning hatred for demon-kind that is tempered with cold discipline and resovle.

"We Demon Hunters have all lost families to Demons and their followers, so we have an intense hatred of them, more so than any other people in Sanctuary. However if we allow ourselves to be consumed by it, we get lost in the violence and we ultimately become the thing we hate. We train ourselves to keep our hatred in check in order for us to do our mission without succumbing to the darkness," Valla explained.

Next up, the final battle! Shirai Ryu Ninja vs Demon Hunter, who will be THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!

The Battle:

In a forest that transcends space and time, a lone female Demon Hunter is walking through the woods, looking for any signs of demonic activity. She is armed to the teeth, her sword sheathed on her left hip, pistol crossbow on her right. She also has several throwing knives strapped across her body and she was wearing gauntlets that had spikes on the knuckles. Soon she saw a creek and decided to fill up her canteen with water. Despite this, she felt like she was being watched, so she kept on alert.

A short distance away from her, hiding in a tree, a Shirai Ryu Ninja is watching the cloaked female. He too is armed for a fight, A katana is strapped to his back and his roped kunai is looped around his belt. He also has a tanto on the small of his back and has several shurikens on his person. The ninja decided to eliminate this woman, seeing her as a threat. Soon he made his way down the tree silently and began to sneak his way towards his target, unsheathing his sword as silently as possible.

Meanwhile the Demon Hunter has leaned down to fill her canteen up, however a bird squawking in panic alerted her. Having learned to mind her surroundings and sense possible danger, she then heard a shout behind her and she managed to roll away in time, the Shirai Ryu's katana imbedded itself into the spot she was in. She soon recovered to see her attacker. He too had a cloak on as well as a face mask that resembled t bottom part of a skull. The Shirai Ryu Ninja also got a look at his opponent, what intrigued him the most is her glowing eyes.

The Demon Hunter soon unsheathed her longsword from her hip and soon both of them were circling each other. They knew that their fate would be decided in the best way they knew how...

IN MORTAL KOMBAT!

The Demon Hunter soon made the first move and began to slash at the Shirai Ryu, who parried her strikes. Soon steel would clash as the two tried to slash or stab each other with their respective blade, only for the other to either block it or parry it. Soon the Demon Hunter tried a slash to the Ninja's legs but he managed to dodge it by backflipping out of the way and getting some distance. However this gave the Demon Hunter time to retrieve a throwing knife and throw it at him but he managed to side step out of the way of the knife, which sail passed him.

He managed to take out a shuriken and he throws it at the Demon Hunter who manages to deflect the projectile with her blade. This gave the Ninja time to retreat but the Demon Hunter chased after the man, unwilling to allow him to escape. The Shirai Ryu managed to get ahead of the Demon Hunter and soon disappeared from sight. The Demon Hunter slowed down to a walk, sense she was being led into an ambush. She was right as a shuriken came out of now where and she was hit in the side, making her cry out in pain.

Soon the Shirai Ryu came out of his hiding spot and charged at the cloaked female with his katana. She just managed to take out the shuriken as the Shirai Ryu managed to get up to her and tries a decapitation. The Demon Hunter ducks just in time and without hesitating, throws a punch. The spikes on her gauntlet managed to puncture the Shirai Ryu side, which causes him to shout in pain. Now the Demon Hunter tries to return the favor by going for her own decapitation slash but the Shirai Ryu managed to bring his blade up just in time to stop it. However the Demon Hunter managed to wrest the katana away from the ninja and he was temporarily unarmed.

Despite being disarmed, the Ninja stood his ground as the Demon Hunter slashed at him with her sword. He expertly dodge all the slashes and soon he managed to catch her sword arm and hit it with a palm strike that managed to knock the blade out of her hand. He soon put the heel of his boot into the Hunter's stomach which made her stumble back a few feet.

The Shirai Ryu soon took out some more Shurikens and he threw one at the Demon Hunter, however she managed to dodge it and soon she took out her pistol crossbow and aimed it at the ninja. She fired it but the Shirai Ryu saw this and knew he was outgunned, as she fired, he turned and began to run in a zig zag pattern. Her first shot went wide and she couldn't reacquire her target as he ran away. The Demon Hunter soon gave chase to her opponent, dead set on finishing him off.

As she chased the man again, she again lost sight him again. She yet again slowed her pace and she had her pistol crossbow aimed and ready. Soon, her sixth sense kicked up again and she turned around and before she could shoot in that direction, the Shirai Ryu Ninja slashed at her with his tanto, cutting her armor and leaving a gash on her arm and making her drop her crossbow. Now the Demon Hunter is disarmed and the Shirai Ryu had the weapon.

He came in slashing at the female Demon Hunter but she kept backing up and became apparent to her that the ninja was trying to keep her from her pistol crossbow. The Demon Hunter soon tried to mount an offense by throwing a punch with her spiked gauntlets and hit the tanto, forcing it out of the Shirai Ryu's hand. However the ninja had one last weapon, he took out his roped kunai and ready it. He soon threw it at the Demon Hunter, looking to score a lethal shot. His aim wasn't true and the Demon Hunter took the kunai in the left shoulder. She let out a shout of pain.

The Shirai Ryu grabbed the rope and tried to yank the Demon Hunter to the ground, so he could give him time to get his tanto. However the Demon Hunter saw this and gripped the rope as well. The ninja is surprised to see that the cloaked female had some amazing strength of her own and she wasn't letting up.

Without the Shirai Ryu noticing it, the Demon Hunter managed to get out a throwing knife out with her right hand and then threw it at the ninja, the blade soon sank into the ninja's shoulder, which made him let go of the rope. While he struggled and stumbled with the blade, the Demon Hunter managed to get the kunai out of her shoulder and run to her pistol crossbow, grabbing it with her healthy hand and arm. The Shirai Ryu managed to rip the blade out of his shoulder and soon looked up to see the Demon Hunter pull the trigger on her pistol crossbow.

The bolt sailed through the air and it went straight through the Shirai Ryu's eye and into his brain. The ninja felt the pain for a few seconds before he hemorrhaged and his body soon hit the ground. The Demon Hunter went up to the fallen enemy and kicked the body, to see if he was still alive. Not taking any chances, she put a bolt straight through his heart.
