A/N: Hello, and welcome to a new story that I had in mind for a while now, but I never got around to writing it. Life, am I right? Anyway, this story was inspired by "Cody's Totally Dramatic Marriage!", "My Hero Marriage!", and "Inuyasha's Demonic Marriage!", which are stories that were written by fellow authors AustralianBeast17, Firem78910, and Shadow Joestar. I think the title says it all. I hope that you all enjoy it!
A/N 2: Just a quick disclaimer, but I just want to make it abundantly clear that I do not approve of gambling your daughters through marriages like what was done in these stories. But it was part of the plot in these stories, so I'm just gonna roll with it.

Prologue!
Walking down the streets of Amity Park with his hands in his pockets and his head down was a young man. He appeared to be sixteen-years old with black hair that spiked in a forward direction, pale skin, and icy blue eyes. He has a lean build that had strength but was clearly meant for speed and agility rather than brute strength. He's wearing a simple white t-shirt with a red oval on the chest, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of red and white sneakers.
This young man is Daniel James Fenton. But just call him Danny. Everyone does.
He was actually feeling pretty down as of late.
You see, two years ago, things were like this…
Young Danny Fenton, he was just fourteen when his parents built a very strange machine that was designed to view a world unseen. When it didn't quite work, his folks? They just quit! But then Danny took a look inside of it.
There was a great big flash, everything just changed! His molecules got all rearranged!
When he first woke up, he realized he had snow white hair, and glowing green eyes! He could walk through walls, disappear, and fly! He was much more unique than the other guys!
And it was then that he knew what he had to do. He had to stop all the ghosts that were coming through.
He's here to fight for me and you!
And that's how it's been since that fateful day. Using his newfound ghostly powers, Danny has fought and captured numerous ghostly adversaries ranging from the simple and animalistic ectopus, to more humanoid spirits such as Walker the Ghost Warden, Ember the Ghost Rocker, Skulker the Hunting Ghost, and of course… Klemper! Who Danny suspects may be the ghost of a holocaust victim, but that is mere speculation at this point.
But that is neither here nor there.
At first, Danny enjoyed being a ghost fighting superhero, even though he had a hard time balancing his normal life as a high school freshman with that of his ghost fighting alter-ego. Where he goes by Danny Phantom, NOT Inviso-bil. Seriously, who came up with that name? But one thing he especially didn't enjoy about his new powers was how much of a target it painted on his back. Especially for ghost hunters such as the Guys In White and even his own parents who are ghost hunters themselves. Although, they are mediocre ghost hunters at best. Though, they do invent some pretty useful ghost hunting technology, even if most of the time they don't know how their inventions actually work.
But his double-life has only gotten more and more difficult with more powerful enemies having been made. One of whom was his parents' old friend from college, Vlad Masters, who became a half-ghost long before Danny was born. This was due to an accident involving his parents' first ever prototype ghost portal, which only went even more awry when his dad had poured diet cola into the portal instead of ecto purifier.
But it's an annoying situation for Danny, because Vlad is a crazy fruit loop who wants to kill Danny's father and take his(Danny's) mother for his(Vlad's) wife while making Danny his son to make him some kind of evil heir, or something like that!
And yet, in spite of all of these stresses, it's not what's got Danny so down in the dumps today.
You see, today was Danny's birthday and none of his close friends or his family seemed to remember. And if they did, then they didn't seem interested in celebrating with him. Not to mention the fact that Dash Baxter, the quarterback of the school's football team and the biggest bully in Danny's school, had gathered his own friends from the football team to corner Danny after school and beat him black and blue. Now, he was walking home with his hair a mess, a busted lip, a black eye that was swollen shut, though his accelerated healing was already taking care of that, and multiple bruises all over his body.
Danny considers himself lucky that that was all he got away with. Especially when two of the jocks started hitting him with a metal pipe and a crowbar!
He sighed as he finally reached home. He went inside and locked the door behind him before going into the kitchen to see if anyone was there. Normally, at least one of his parents would be working on one of their ghost hunting inventions at the kitchen counter, but as he entered the kitchen, he found it completely empty. That's when he saw two notes taped to the whiteboard. One was from his parents, and the other was from his sister. Danny took down the notes and read his sister's first.
'Dear Little Brother,'
'I'm sorry I can't be there for you on your special day, but an important exam has come up at school and I need to cram for it. I'm staying at a friend's house for the night and will be back tomorrow after school. I left a little something for you on your bed upstairs.'
'Happy birthday, little brother!'
'Lots of love, Jazz.'
"Well, that explains where Jazz is. And honestly, I'm not surprised." Danny said to himself.
And he was even less surprised when he read the note from his mother.
'Dear Danny,'
'Your father and I have been invited to a Ghost Hunting Symposium and will be gone until tomorrow. We'll most likely be home before you come back from school, but we'll celebrate your birthday together as a family then. There's a slice of cake for you in the fridge as well as some ice cream in the freezer that you can have, and we've left twenty dollars on the counter so you can order out tonight.'
'Love you both!'
'Mom.'
Danny sighed. He should have known that his parents wouldn't stick around to celebrate his birthday. Still, at least they left him something.
He decided to just order dinner and get his homework done before turning in early tonight. After the events of the day, he was both physically and mentally exhausted and just wanted to get some rest.

Ending A/N: Well, that's the beginning of this story! I hope that you all enjoyed this first chapter, this story is honestly more of an experimental idea, so it's probably going to look kind of messy in terms of the plot. And as stated above, this story isn't going to get updated very often due to my own schedule. Balancing a full-time job and writing stories, plus starting a YouTube channel makes that difficult, in terms of finding time to write. I also have a My Hero Academia/Star Wars idea in the works, so be on the lookout for that. And also, if any of you have any suggestions for Danny's possible wives, be sure to let me know in the reviews.
