Robot Mouse Attack

*Later that night, Sally (wearing a light pink nightgown (look up "Peach - Clara (Nightgown)" by "Katlime" on "DeviantArt")) was asleep on the couch, holding her nutcracker*

Maximilian: It's time we wake her.

Aleena: And spoil a beautiful dream? No. Let her sleep. Sally's not a child anymore. She deserves the chance to follow her dreams.

Maximilian: A young girl needs to be responsible and practical!

*He turned off a lamp*

Aleena: Sally is responsible. You've raised her well, Uncle. It's you trusted her to grow up and make her own choices.

*Then he wound the grandfather clock*

Maximilian: It's late. I'll see you in the morning.

*Later, when the clock struck midnight, two streams of gold sparkles came out of the mouse hole next to the fireplace. They flew around the room. Just then, the owl on top of the grandfather clock moved it's head. Then a horde of red robots with mouse ears & tails (look up "Egg Pawn" on "Sonic Zone Wiki") came out of the mouse hole. They poked at one of the ornaments until it fell off the tree & broke. Meanwhile, Sally dropped her nutcracker, who landed on his feet then the sparkles brought him to life*

Nutcracker: Insolent mice!

*He took out his sword & charged the robots. Then Sally woke up. She looked around for her nutcracker, but found one of the robots eating a cookie*

Sally: Get away from there! Shoo! Shoo!

*The mouse fell off the couch. Then she saw her nutcracker battling the robot mice*

Nutcracker: Back off, you traitors!

Sally: I must be dreaming.

Just then, she saw two more mice come out of the mouse hole. They moved to the side & a big brown male mouse with pale skin & wearing a gold crown, a pair of blue pince-nez glasses, covering his eyes & a red jacket, which features yellow cuffs, golden buttons, a yellow flap, and coattails hanging from the back, white gloves, dark gray pants with lighter gray stripes on the sides, & a pair of high-rimmed black boots (look up "Doctor Eggman (Sonic Boom)" on "Sonic Zone Wiki"), & holding a scepter (look up "Mouse King" on "Barbie Movies Wiki") appeared. He looked around & growled when he saw the nutcracker battling his men*

Mouse King (Dr. Eggman): Even as a nutcracker, you're a thorn in my side!

Nutcracker: And a thorn to you I shall remain. *he kicked a book down towards them* Ha!

*It landed on top of the Mouse King & his men. The nutcracker jumped down. The Mouse King came out from under the book & they started to battle. Sword against scepter. But the Mouse King knocked the sword out of Nutcracker's hand & tripped him with his tail. He landed on his back & the Mouse King pointed his scepter at him*

Mouse King (Dr. Eggman): It's time I turned you into something more useful. *his scepter turned into an axe* Like kindling!

*Sally came up behind him, holding a vase*

Sally: Not in my house!

*The Mouse King smirked at her & turned the axe back into a scepter*

Mouse King (Dr. Eggman): Meddling Mobian, towering tall, let my scepter shrink you small.

Nutcracker: Look out!

*But it was too late. A beam from the scepter hit her & she shrunk to the size of a mouse*

Sally: This is not good.

*The Mouse King came towards her*

Mouse King (Dr. Eggman): Not so fearless now, hm?

*Suddenly, Nutcracker crashed into him with a toy cart, knocking him back a bit. Nutcracker jumped off, picked up his sword, & tried to attack the King, but two mouse soldiers blocked his path. Sally stayed behind him as he fought them off*

Nutcracker: Can you make it up to the mantle?

*Sally looked up at the mantle*

Sally: There is no way! *some soldiers came towards her* I'm staying down here!

*She started climbing the wreath decorating the fireplace mantle. Down below, Nutcracker battled against the mice. At one point, he stuck his sword into the grate behind him & kicked away the soldiers in front of him. Just then, the Mouse King appeared on front of him, holding an axe*

Mouse King (Dr. Eggman): You've got nowhere to run, Nutcracker! *Nutcracker tried to pull his sword free, but it wouldn't budge* You're not going to get away from me this time. Unless you'd like to feed the fire.

*Soon, Nutcracker was trapped between the soldiers & the fireplace. He started to climb the grate*

Sally: Nutcracker! *the Mouse King swung his axe, but missed. Nutcracker jumped on to the wreath. the Mouse King jumped on to a pile of logs & turned his axe into a crossbow. he fired at the Nutcracker, but missed & broke an ornament. the Nutcracker was still hanging on to the wreath. the Mouse King got ready to fire again* Hey, up here! *she kicked her foot & one of her slippers flew off her foot, hitting the Mouse King on the head. he fell off the logs & landed on the floor, unconscious. the Mouse Soldiers picked him up & carried him back into the mouse hole. suddenly, the wreath she was hanging on to started to shake* Uh oh. *it broke off the mantle* Look out!

*She screamed as the wreath swung towards the Nutcracker, knocking him off his wreath. They both landed on a pillow. The Nutcracker helped her down & gave her back her slipper & the ribbon*

Nutcracker: Thank you for saving my life. And for your superior nursing skills.

Sally: Y - You're welcome. *she looked around the giant room* This has to be a dream.

Nutcracker: I'm afraid it's all too real. *he got his sword free from the grate* And I've got to return home to Parthenia while I have the chance.

Sally: Well, then would you mind changing me back before you go. Remember? I used to be taller?

Nutcracker: I'm afraid only the Sugar Plum Princess can reverse the Mouse King's spell.

Sally: The Sugar Plum Princess?

Nutcracker: Yes. I've been trying to find her since the Mouse King turned me into a Nutcracker.

Sally: You mean you used to be . . .?

Nutcracker: Not a nutcracker.

*Suddenly, the owl on top of the grandfather clock came alive & flew around the room. Sally got scared & his. The Nutcracker drew his sword*

Owl: Perhaps I can help. *she landed on the couch. Sally came out of hiding* You will find the Sugar Plum Princess on an island across the Sea of Storms.

Nutcracker: But it's impossible to cross the Sea of Storms.

Owl: It's dangerous, yes. But not impossible.

*The Nutcracker shrugged & headed towards the mouse hole. He stopped & turned to Sally*

Nutcracker: Well? Are you coming?

Sally: Me? With you? In there? I don't think so.

Owl: Surely you don't want to spend the rest of your life the size of a mouse.

*Sally looked down at herself*

Sally: But how will I get back?

*The Owl flew up to the Christmas tree, towards Sally's ballerina ornament, plucked a gold locket from it's neck, dropped it into Sally's hands*

Owl: Once you've found the Sugar Plum Princess, open the locket and you will return home your normal size.

Sally: But -

*The Owl landed back on the clock. Sally put the locket around her neck & headed towards the mouse hole*

Nutcracker: Ready?

Sally: This is crazy. But yes.

*They entered the mouse hole*
