I am begging this site to fix their stats.

This was harder to write than I thought, not gonna lie but boy is it enjoyable, I hope you're having as much fun. Enjoy the show!

Archie Sonic rushed in for a hug upon seeing Sally controlling himself to not go overboard and tumble them both. Prime stared at them both in disbelief at the scene.

"Sally! You're okay!"

"You missed a few details but yeah, I'm okay," she said, breaking the hug, next to her, her robotic counterpart landed and looked at the group, which sent Antoine on high alert but the lack of reaction somewhat calmed him down, but it was Prime especially who was captivated "Let's take care of that guy first, shall we? I'll update you later… and then you tell me why you switched gloves".

"Lead the way then, we blue hedgehogs really can't hit him like usual, any battle plans?"

"He's a Super Sonic, right? Why don't we just wait it out?"

"We can't," Prime Sally interjected "The chaos energy in his body is not normal".

"How can you tell?" her counterpart asked.

"You'd be surprised how advanced these sensors are".

"Sonic!" Prime Tails called from a distance as he approached the group running "We have to try to get him out of the city!" his urgency was quickly shut off by the image of the two Sally's right in front of him.

"And how do we do that?" Archie Sally quickly replied, bringing him back to earth.

"R-Right, um, make him follow you for a while… we'll think of something!"

Archie Sonic and Sally looked at each other thinking about the 'plan' and yeah, they could do that, one snarky look from Archie gave Sally the invitation to do their thing, it was going to be fun. Prime was looking at their interactions in amazement without saying a word, it was as if he could guess every reaction before it happened, Mecha Sally took notice of this and quietly held his hand as Tails was speaking, this little act being all the reassurance he needed.

"Alright," Archie continued, pulling Antoine and Sally for an arm hug "We got our ship, and the gang is back together, so why not do what we always do? You know, Freedom-Fighter-style?"

"To prove you're the best Sonic?" Sally asked with sarcasm.

"Nah, we're gonna need their help as well" he looked at Prime with a smile with Prime responded with a nod that was ready for action.

"The gang is back," Prime thought "Let's do it to it"

Tom wasn't sure where to go, he was naturally following Chris but as they got through the large residential area of the city and into the large outside section, stopping once he got to the edges of the residential zone and one could actually spot in the distance some indiscernible action going on but not exactly what was going on. And he wasn't the only one as a small crowd of mobians that had left their houses was gathering around him observing in fear of this unknown attack in the middle of the night. During this pause, Tom realized that Chris was no longer around, he looked around him desperately trying to find him but he was already long gone, which worried Tom even more.

"Tom? Tom!" it was his Sonic who was nearby, once Tom spotted him he was gonna run to him but it wasn't needed, as it was Sonic who dashed up to him.

"Sonic? W-What's happening?" he said, crouching wanting to get insight into the situation "Why is he attacking?" the bruises across Sonic's body didn't paint a pretty picture "Is everything okay?"

"Are you okay?" he asked in rebuttal "I can't believe he tricked us".

"Sonic, there has to be some kind of mistake, we talked with him, and he said he wanted to change," Sonic's reaction asked for elaboration "He was aware that he's evil or something but he said he didn't want to be evil anymore, we have to tell it to the team… look, we were attacked but it was by someone else".

This information alerted Sonic.

"Who?"

"I don't know, it was like this robotic version of you, and I got worried because I thought it was you, but then they said his name was Metal Sonic, and he went after the yellow Sonic, we were trying to save him… The robot picked him up and now this happens- I don't know what he's doing… Have you seen him?"

No, he hadn't, none of them did, he looked back at the fight and was instantly lost in thought processing everything Tom just said, it was confusing and didn't match anything that was happening at the moment, a Sonic-robot? An evil-non-evil Sonic?

"You okay?" Tom asked, noticing how Sonic was zoning out.

"Eggman…" was the first thing he said out loud, instantly noticing the crowd that was around them that were all looking at him "What about that ship?"

"That-? Oh, we came flying in that- I managed to turn it on actually, why?" with Sonic looking at the crowd, and a smile coming across the hedgehog's face, Tom quickly realized what Sonic was thinking about "Oh, I've just- I don't think all these people will fit inside it you know? And, you're not saying I should fly this?"

"Only one way to find out, right?" before Tom could reply, Sonic dashed away in a blur that could be seen going in and out of every house around, every building he could find, into the castle and out, houses from the entirety of the city, Tom's sight trying to keep up but failing in the process, only catching what appeared Sonic's blur to start going outside the city and back multiple times. Once he was finished, he stopped in front of Tom now with a crowd much larger than before, most of them who had no idea what just happened.

"I think that's most of them… Tom, Eggman didn't leave, I have to hurry".

There was a small pause with Tom looking at the distance.

"Alright, do what you need to do, just be careful, okay?

Sonic smiled.

"You too" and with that, he dashed away from the scene and away from the city and into the remains of the Death Egg, leaving Tom with the enormous task of getting what was apparently every citizen out to safety in one ship that wasn't the biggest ship of them all.

"Um, alright, I need all of you to follow me!" Tom called out trying to assert leadership.

"Who are you?" asked one of the civilians.

"Follow you where?" added another one.

"What's with your arm?"

Well, that wasn't comforting, but he was a stranger to them so it was fair.

"I am a friend of Sonic" was the best he could come up with at the moment hoping that would convince them and from the crowd, a blue robotic-looking hedgehog walked up with a nod that comforted Tom.

"But what's happening?" someone else asked, receiving a response in the form of hearing a faraway crumble and rubble as well as a light shake from the ground.

"I can get you out of here!" shouted Tom pointing in the direction of the Sky Patrol, by now, everyone understood the situation, so they all had no choice but to follow him onto the ship, Tom with the lead, rushed to the bridge of the ship and sit behind the main controls, waiting for everybody to embark.

"Compu-... Nicole, you there? I really need your help right now" he said that mostly to himself.

"Yes, Tom? How can I assist you?" her voice was heard after a few seconds of stressful silence.

"Yeah, I have like fifty people coming into the ship of yours, maybe more, I don't even know if it can hold that many but I have to get this out of the city".

"More than fifty people?" a pause "The Sky Patrol will lose her aerodynamics with more weight but it can be done, and well, if you're trying to fly the ship then you'll have to carefully listen to my instructions"

And carefully listening to her instructions was exactly what he did, a recap on how to turn it on and an easy way to communicate with the entire ship via speakers which was very helpful as it was perfect to mobilize the passengers across the Sky Patrol and once everyone on board found its place –some of them even accompanying Tom on the bridge–, the hatch was closed and Tom now faced the flying part, lifting the gigantic vehicle was not that difficult as it had a vertical lift-off and during this ascension, he was able to slowly get a better panoramic view of the field which was not looking good.

Through some careful guidance and support by Nicole and after some strong and harsh movements, Tom was, to his surprise, piloting the Sky Patrol to safety albeit very slowly. It didn't matter, he was flying a ship with only one arm and that was an accomplishment.

"Sonic, I hope you know what you're doing," he thought.

"You've all flown before, right? The Tornado?" Prime Tails asked his counterparts back at the warehouse with them nodding in confirmation revealing the biplane he had "We can try to give air support then!"

"But we need a way to neutralize him, we can't just hit him forever, especially without a Super Sonic of our own," Archie Tails said "How have you done this?"

"Uh, we really haven't… We're talking about someone who could possibly destroy a planet, this is the first time he hasn't been on our side".

"But Super Sonic has a time limit, right?" Prime Tails' reaction to this question was uncertain, it certainly didn't inspire much confidence.

"So we're not gonna be of help either... this would be much easier if I had my workshop" Boom Tails added "Can I get to fly the plane?"

That was no issue, he could fly it for sure but Boom had somewhat of a point, hitting Super Sonic 'very hard' wasn't a viable tactic, at least not for long. Putting one of their gizmos would be convenient but there wasn't any time for that so trying to neutralize Super and avoid damage was their best next choice. Boom Tails quickly set up the cockpit.

"Wow, it really isn't that different from my plane!" if Boom Tails was going to fly it, then maybe he was going to need a wingman and the two other foxes didn't mind if they accompanied him by standing –or better said holding- on the wings of the plane, just like Sonic usually does. The engine was turned on and with that, the plane was in the air. It managed to get to the active field pretty fast considering that half the city was the battlefield and their point of view allowed for a perfect view of the attack and the range of it.

"That's the Sky Patrol!" Archie Tails pointed out the ship rising from the forest "Tom did say they were coming".

"Is that really him?" Boom Tails asked once they spotted the main fight, Super Sonic and the rest of the Sonics still engaging in a fierce showdown near the grandiose castle standing in the middle of the city. From this height, Prime Tails saw how they were trying to get Super Sonic moving in any direction instead of keeping the fight in the same place but the yellow hedgehog wasn't interested in following the game.

"Is that Sally?" Archie Tails said upon spotting his respective Sally on the ground but he didn't have time to analyze as Boom Tails took a sharp turn to the right that almost threw off the two Tails that were holding on to the wing "What was that?!"

"Tails? Yeah everybody loves Tails," that was the voice of Super Sonic flying alongside the left side of the plane and the reason why Boom veered off so violently "Well, I don't!" with that, he blasted through the tail of the biplane causing the vehicle to spin out of control as the three of them tried to hold on, despite having the ability to fly to a certain period, the adrenaline of the moment froze their bodies for a few seconds, Prime Tails was the one who snapped out, followed by Archie. Boom saw them do it and instantly was about to leave the cockpit as well but the seat belt wasn't budging. As soon as the other two Tails saw him struggling, they flew straight at him but Super Sonic was not going to let them, punching Prime out of the sky and holding Archie Tails, the plane hit the ground with tremendous force, careening for a few seconds before coming to a full stop.

From the ground, all of the hedgehogs were witnessing the action in the skies, Main being the first that instantly ran towards the crash site but Super released the fox in his grasp and landed in front of him blocking the path with his usual smile, Archie tried to spin-dash into him, Super being able to react to this and just punch him back. Boom decided not to address Super and just go straight to the plane luckily not being spotted and getting to the wreck itself which was now getting covered in flames with Boom Tails lying unconscious on the pilot seat, the two other foxes tried to free him but their 'contact issues' was hurting their rescue efforts.

As soon as Boom Sonic arrived, the process was easier and Tails was out of his seat almost instantly.

"Tails?" he called out waiting for a response.

And what a relief it was when his eyes slowly began to open.

"Don't just stand there," he said weakly "We still have that hedgehog to catch".

"Tails!" Sonic pressed in for a hug that caused some light pain to the fox, causing the hug to release a little "Can you stand?"

"I think I can but… I also want to lie down for a bit, just for a few minutes".

That was alright, the last thing Boom Sonic wanted to happen was for Tails to get injured in this battle, and speaking of it, it was already starting to become annoying.

"Alright, can you two, uh, take care of him for me?" the two foxes nodded and Sonic dashed away into the action but his body failed once again. It didn't matter, he got up, and even angrier he sped off to Super Sonic who was still dealing with every hit he was receiving with little effort. Boom tried to kick him from behind but Super was able to quickly grab his leg and throw him away with no difficulty. He wanted to keep fighting but the pain of electricity across his body was starting to get harder to endure. What began as a fun battle where he could finally show off, was now becoming a pain

It was at this point that Archie Sally noted that moving Super Sonic around to the exact place they wanted was easier said than done, because while the plan was to take him away from the city, there were too many distractions to make this happen and Super Sonic wasn't budging, she looked around her and she could see that the blue hedgehogs were not taking the fight well, Little Sonic was still rocking out but pretty much everyone else was suffering the effects of this prolonged altercation and she was starting to get to the realization that even if they got him outside, the fight was going to continue regardless.

"Sonic!" a voice called out from the distance, all eight hedgehogs responded to this by looking in the direction of said voice as no one knew which one was being called "Sonic!"

Once the figure got close enough, everyone was able to see who it was. It was Chris Thorndyke running to the center of the battle much to the surprise of the entire group, a majority of them being outright confused at who this kid even was. The Sonic he was calling out for was Super Sonic himself also perplexed by his appearance, slowing down his run to a walk once he got close to Super. 'What was he doing?' that was probably the thought of pretty much everyone present but the state of the scene completely froze their bodies.

"Sonic," Chris began talking, at a proper distance but still walking towards the yellow hedgehog "It's me, it's me, Chris! You said you didn't want this… you do remember, right? At the base- we can help you".

Super Sonic tilted his head, maybe he was understanding so Chris continued, getting much closer as the Sonics got more alert. X being the closest, now standing behind Chris, wanting to rush forward but his instincts telling him to wait a little, just a little more.

"You were just fighting against that robot but we can help, we can all help you! We can be friends! Isn't that what you wanted?" Chris had now come face to face with Super Sonic putting a hand on his shoulder with a welcoming smile, the hedgehog held a pensive stare thinking about what Chris was saying. His thought was cut off by a wicked smile across his face and Chris was now staring directly into a pair of eyes that began to light up in bright red before being pushed away by X who reacted at insane speeds to get him out of the way of the hot lasers that came from Super's eyes.

"What?!" Boom Sonic asked in disbelief.

"I never do that…" Main Sonic said.

"Neither do I" added Archie Sonic who heard the conversation.

X had managed to save Chris from the incoming attack which meant that Chris' little speech proved to be ineffective.

"You good?" X asked after they retrieved their footing but Chris wasn't in a state to reply, and whatever they had was interrupted by Super's cackling laugh walking towards the two of them.

"You pathetic child! I don't care about you or any of your supposed friends! All of you will die!"

But as he was walking, he was bonked on the head by an unspecified object from behind that interrupted his little monologue. He turned around to see where it came from and it wasn't needed since the shooter decided to announce themselves.

"Yeah! Do you want more of this?" said Sticks the Badger catching back the boomerang she had thrown, standing next to her was none other than Mighty the Armadillo who was now more than ready to start a fight "There are too many Sonics for me to care about you and honestly? I don't even like you".

"Agree with the crazy badger" Mighty cracked his knuckles, Super replying with his usual grin, but before he launched himself for an attack, a hammer seemingly coming out of nowhere punched him from the side with great force. Amy and Rotor had arrived at the scene and they weren't looking for any questions, both knew the threat had to be taken out and they had to stop it.

"Amy!" four of the Sonics present were thrilled that the pink hedgehog had arrived, Main, Archie, Prime, and Boom being said four. Although Boom and Main Sonic knew this wasn't the Amy they were familiar with, this still helped them both to put them in a good mood, Prime quickly realized that this wasn't his Amy –despite not having any visual cues–, but judging by the Rotor's appearance that was next to her, he figured it out pretty quickly.

"Alright, you, I don't know what's wrong but you're hurting my friends!" Amy said rushing forward towards Super Sonic for another hit, swinging her hammer trying to land, Super easily dodged her attempts and stopped the weapon in one of those swings blasting it away and punching Amy directly in the face with Boom Sonic being the first one to rush and tend to her as soon as she was hit. Rotor was right behind her and he was able to land two punches before Super grabbed his arm, rose to the sky, and launched him back into the ground. He stayed in the air hovering for a couple of seconds receiving a series of boomerang attacks that did absolutely nothing except piss him off even more. This time, he knew the source of the weapon, instantly looking in the direction of Sticks, the badger realizing this shrieked in fear bracing for the impact that was blocked head-on by a punch from Mighty that sent Super Sonic flying away. A punch that even Mighty's fist felt the pain of.

"Mighty!" Ray had finally caught up to the site and his first action was to reunite with Mighty himself, the armadillo receiving his arrival with similar excitement, quickly embracing in a hug among them and turning their attention back to Super Sonic.

Mighty's arrival was of great joy to X as well, and this gave a boost of energy to go after Super and keep fighting, but he was quickly stopped by Chris who held his arm, X paused to listen to what he had to say.

"Sonic, wait, he… it's not his fault, really! He told us he wanted to change! We were ambushed by a blue metal robot, he was defending himself".

"A blue metal robot?" X was more than familiar with that description, it was what they experienced back in Albion and while Chris' actions in approaching Super Sonic looked confusing, him explaining this detail made him very alarmed. But he couldn't lose his focus on the moment at hand either. Super was back on his feet and he was just as raging as ever, he was getting surrounded from all sides and he was fully aware of this.

"Agh! I can't stand any of you!" the yellow hedgehog shouted, frustrated at the number of people that were showing up, his body glowing more than usual indicating something was going on "I just want seven blue hedgehogs against one… The rest of you can die!"

Before that last word could even be finished, Prime Sonic took the initiative and ran straight at him, not standing around and waiting for the show, at the same time a cyan aura surrounded Super Sonic along with a blinding light inside the aura itself lashing out a loud sound that could be described as an explosion. Once this cyan aura vanished, Super Sonic appeared dizzy and stumbling causing Prime to stop his run in confusion. From the skies, a new challenger had arrived.

"Silver?" Prime looked surprised.

"I won't let you destroy this city!" said Silver, trying to come off as threatening.

"Who are you supposed to be?" Super brushed off his dizziness now "None of you are any match!"

Silver smiled, but it was any cocky smile like Sonic would do, but rather one of pride. With one move of his hand, he launched Super Sonic into the air following him to the skies, leaving the guys below very little time to process what transpired. Super's launch disoriented him but quickly got around, floating now face to face with Silver in position for a fight, Super didn't have to think, he fired a burning hot laser in his direction, Silver grabbing the incoming attack and controlling it with ease with his telekinesis powers, turning it all around and throwing it back at the golden hedgehog causing a critical hit.

This obviously angered the already angry flying Sonic, charging at Silver who stopped him midway through pushing him away simply with a thought of his mind. He couldn't believe it, he was actually keeping up and it was amazing! All he had to do was keep up this momentum.

From the ground, all the combatants were now looking at the spectacle above catching a breather as the two hedgehogs engaged in a flashy combat of yellow and cyan.

"Is that Silver?" Archie asked, his excitement upon seeing an ally clearly showing "Where did he come from?"

"He does that sometimes," Prime answered without much enthusiasm, his feelings for Silver being somewhat negative, something that both Archie and Main noticed "Yo, Mighty!"

The armadillo was focused on the skies above, answering the call and encountering three similar hedgehogs with the exclusion of their clothes. He let out a sigh, understanding very well the situation by now but still not being able to catch which one was calling his name but it wasn't needed as Sonic just walked up to him.

"Long time no see," said Prime.

"It has been a while hasn't it?" Mighty replied looking back at the sky "Is this like an evil version of you? What happened now?"

Prime was going to answer that question but X got around and was faster in the reply.

"Our friend is back," he said with a smile, startling Mighty "Remember the blue robot? Yeah, he happened".

The suddenness caused Mighty not fully to process what he said and just focused on X's smile as the hedgehog looked up and back at him

"Nice to see you're okay!" X said while offering a small fist bump that Might slowly embraced.

"Wait, what blue robot?" Prime asked, actually alerted by this line.

"Metal Sonic," said Amy approaching the conversation along with Boom Sonic next to her leaning on her hammer to not fall over "The Metal Sonic from this world attacked us and he was after that Super Sonic".

"What Amy are you?" asked Main Sonic, Amy looking at him confused by the question.

The information of Metal Sonic was worrying to Prime and they certainly didn't need more things to worry about. The good thing was that everyone was here so it was the best time to come up with a plan and 'leaving the city' was becoming less viable by the second, they had to stop the threat one way or another.

"Why isn't he getting all crazy like us?" Little Sonic commented while still holding his guitar, referring to the fact that Super didn't look like he was experiencing any issues with all the contact that was going on.

"Isn't he crazy enough?" Archie Sonic said with his usual sarcasm.

"And I don't think his juice will run out anytime soon," Archie Sally added.

As Mecha Sally heard the discussion, she received a notification of some sort from inside her, which had to do with the robotic body she was in.

"Sally? It's me, Nicole… Apologies for the invasion of your privacy but one of the Sonics is going back to the Death Egg, or what's left of it at least. Oh, the evacuation should be completed by now, it's only you guys in the city".

That was a lot of information to receive at once but Sally got the gist of it.

"Do you know where the other Nicole is?" was the one thing she needed more confirmation on.

"You don't need to worry, we're both handling the collateral damage" that was enough, Prime Sonic noticed how she looked as if she was in a trance so he naturally approached wondering if everything was alright, which it was, taking the opportunity Sally explained what she had just heard to Sonic who was now in high alert. The empty city was excellent but he was now certain that something was going on that he wasn't aware of, Metal Sonic being involved, and now the constant hearing that Eggman was still around felt urgent now more than ever…

"Wouldn't Knuckles be of help?" Amy suggested to the group and it wasn't a far-fetched idea, Knuckles was always a heavy hitter against Sonic, and assuming it worked the same then, yes, it was an option if he was still around.

"How do you usually beat a Super Sonic?" Bunnie asked as a way to spark more brainstorming and brainstorming they needed because Silver wasn't going to last too long.

Speaking of Silver, his fight wasn't going so well either, he was able to dodge and curve all the lasers coming his way but it came to a point that that was all he could do against him. His ESP wasn't strong enough to contain an angry Super Sonic, breaking every barrier Silver was making, and his speed was severely outmatched. Silver had fought against powerful beings before but the circumstances were somewhat different, this opponent looking like he was directly for the kill to name a difference.

"Silver, we've heard that the city is empty. Bring him down" Director Harvey Who's voice was heard through the radio.

"Do you think that's … a good idea?" Silver said, trying to focus on his current battle.

"The plan we made was just to buy them time" that was Elias' voice.

"Yeah, I can't say how that improves the situation, it's not like trees will take him down," Shard intervened.

"Trees won't but we sure can!" Tangle said.

"Guys, I can't … have you all in my ear!" Silver complained "Wait, Tangle's here?"

A little distraction was enough for Super Sonic to land a mighty punch directly at his face that sent him flying outside the city. Silver felt that hit but now he was mad, he zoomed back from where he came from and struck him back leading him to the forest hoping that that was the best decision.

Super Sonic got up and found himself in a dark area surrounded by trees, it was a small forest and you could see a nearby house through the foliage but trees all around nonetheless. Before he could fully grasp the location, he was hit from behind by an unspecified object, he turned around viciously to look what it was but found nothing, the darkness of the night making it hard to see as well. Another hit out of nowhere, his anger growing, firing lasers randomly at the trees around him, slashing them all and setting fire to some—still nothing.

He kept firing, the shot being redirected at his body by ESP powers, Silver slowly descending from above standing face to face with Super once again.

"I told you, we are not going down" Silver stood there striking the best heroic pose he could come up with at the moment.

Super Sonic thrust forward but was thrown away by a blast coming from the side, Silver smirked, getting excited that this little tactic was going somewhere… but not for long. Super released a powerful blast all around him that decimated a major part of the environment, Silver managed to block himself now looking around to see what was left, and from the "rubble", the first one that popped out was none other than Tangle, surprising the silver hedgehog.

"C'mon, what happened with you? We were having so much fun, what did Metal do to you?" Tangle instantly addressed Super Sonic, trying her best to turn the situation around.

"I am free" he replied, his grin as big as usual. Tangle sighed, rolling her eyes quickly realizing that this was going to be futile, going back to the fight, she quickly used her tail to hold Super Sonic as tight as she could.

"Now!" she shouted and from the remaining trees nearby, Shard jumped down, charging up his blaster to a status never seen before, Tangle quickly unwrapped Super.

"Boom," he said before firing a gigantic green laser straight at Sonic who was standing in place receiving the full force of the shot. Shard reached his limits and the fire was over, if he had lungs that action would have got tiring but it didn't "I'm really digging the upgrade" he said caressing his arm-cannon but there was no time to celebrate, the shot had barely touched Super Sonic from the looks of it and his focus was now on the robot "Crud".

But Whisper the Wolf was not going to allow that. Before Super could even leap, the wolf fired the rocket wisp from her wispon from a far away distance, to try and change the hedgehog's attention, which she did but Tangle's tail once again stopped him from engaging in combat, Leeta, Lyco, and Elias all coming out from what remained of the forest striking as fast as they could albeit with minimal damage. Super Sonic charged up his laser and everyone instantly retreated leaving Silver to take the lead once again.

The Secret Freedom Fighters were not the best fighters for this foe and everyone knew that their role was simply to slow down Super Sonic as much as possible but it didn't take long for Silver to realize that it wasn't going to be a long one. He had realized that he was the one and only who was putting up a fight against Super –without struggling like the Sonics were– and the rest of his team was severely outmatched and he didn't want to risk it.

He flew directly at Super Sonic using his telekinesis to shield him from the blast and launching him upwards following him to the sky. Using that power to push him further and further, breaking out from the dome of New Mobotropolis and going even further…

"Just go down…" he thought, expecting this fight to last even longer, he used his powers once more to engulf him and push away from the borders of the city but Silver wasn't strong enough and Super broke out from Silver's grasp with full rage.

"I am going nowhere!" he shouted "Not even Sonic or his cheap knock-off will surpass me!"

"A cheap knock-off?" Silver wasn't mad, just confused by being called a knock-off of Sonic of all people "All I know is that you're hurting my friends and I won't let you destroy this city or any other world!"

"Try it, tough boy!" Super taunted firing his laser and Silver once again blocked it but this time he was struggling to move it around, he tried with all his might but so was Super and the shot was becoming stronger until Silver couldn't handle it anymore, letting go and dodging the fire just in time but Super Sonic raced at enormous speeds, appearing almost instantly in front of Silver's face, one punch sending him back to the area of the city, the time-traveler could barely react to that hit before being grabbed by the neck, plunging downwards and face first into the ground back where they started.

He wasn't strong enough, and yet, he tried to get up and keep up the fight.

Super Sonic saw this and grabbed his arm from behind, yanking him up and forcing him to stand up.

"You can't stop me" he hissed, grabbing Silver's other arm and twisting them both backward as hard as possible causing tremendous pain to the already-injured hedgehog and enjoying it in the process, only stopping after being hit by shots coming from behind.

It was Whisper, who had rapidly come to the rescue and performed rapid fire to distract him from Silver… a distraction and nothing else, she kept her ground, her gun tightly secured aiming at Super Sonic who had now let go of the hedgehog. Seeing Silver in that state only angered the wolf even more, however, Tangle caught up to her through the forest so now there were two of them, and right behind them, the rest of the team one by one joined their side, Elias, Larry, Leeta, Lyco, Shard… all ready to keep going.

And Super Sonic couldn't help but laugh.

Prime Sonic looked at the Warp Ring he had, trying to come up with something they could do with it, X spotted the item approaching his counterpart with curiosity.

"Is that the portal thing?" X asked.

"Yeah, why? Any ideas?"

Maybe he had, yeah, but everything was interrupted as a big red laser from the forest hit the Castle Acorn, completely slicing it. A yellow cloud from the edges of the city followed it sending a wind shockwave that they all had to cover from and finally Super Sonic himself standing proudly in the sky once again.

And there we have it, I had a lot of fun writing this chapter, and I felt good writing the fights but I'll leave that up to you to decide.

Also, also, I've gotten people saying that this fic reminds them of 'Rediscovered Frontiers' by TheInfamousMan, and like... that's neat, I know the similarities, they're all entirely coincidental though, I'm happy you found two stories you can enjoy.
