Chapter 16

Outside of the school…

It was suppose to be gym class. Yet, Shin was the only student outside, but was surrounded.

Sorcerers of different ages had approached and closed in. "Now, let's not make this too difficult young man, you are the future of the Gojo clan after all…" one happened to say.

"Tsk, Gojo clan? Please, I only took the name to enter school. I'm Shin TOORU!" he said proudly. "I don't answer to Gojo…"

"You are rather stubborn aren't you child?" There was a grown man before him, he shared similar looks to his father. But…

"You must be an uncle of some sort from the clan, aren't you?"

"Very perceptive of you child… now, let's not make things difficult… Surrender now…"

Shin was already charging himself up. "Or else?" he asked in a challenging tone. He took off his sunglasses and stared into the eyes of the uncle. "Do you intend on challenging me… without knowing what I can do? Or is this merely a test from the clan to see what I am capable of?" he asked.

The uncle smiles, he licked his lips a little. "You going to show us?"

He smirked. "Maybe… let's see if I have to even try first…"

That pissed off the masses, so much so they came in with their curse energy surging! Shin moved quickly, effectively and remembered all the lessons he had. Oji trained him hard, Rook helped him learn how to fight hand to hand and rely on his strength over curse energy. He took out five sorcerers alone without revealing his technique!

But they started to up their game. Four began to summon their technique to use against him, but even then, he saw them coming a mile away. However unlike he father, he has yet to use limitless and make a protective barrier around himself.

Even then, those four were taken out with ease. Which left the uncle.

"Not bad, you are your father's son, no doubt about it. But, you are holding back still aren't you?"

"I don't go all out against small fries" he decreed. "Why are you so obsessed with having me anyways?"

The uncle merely smiled. "Tooru blood" he decreed. "You have it flowing in your veins, and because of that. The technique that belonged to your father can be revived, despite the fact the purpose of it is no longer needed!"

"I know the history, the six eyes ability develops when Master Tengen need to merge with the star plasma vessel. But Tengen is no longer around, right? You think I have the six eyes ability?"

"I have no doubt about it boy, now… why not show me?"

Shin paused oddly. "Show you? Look, did you not see me fighting? Would my father have wasted the same amount of energy repelling you assholes as much as I used?" he asked bluntly. "If I had six eyes, I would have casted limitless over myself so none of you could touch me! I can't do that!" he protested.

The uncle paused, but smiled. "Don't try and take me for a fool, boy." He said. "I know you have it, for that is my technique, in the Gojo clan, I can see the potential of family members. Anyone with Gojo blood, I can see without a doubt what they are capable of. According to my eye… you… boy… can do exactly the same thing as your father…" he decreed.

Shin refused to believe it, it is possible for that to be his technique, but, as Oji said, don't show them everything at once.

He was about to stand his ground once more, until the school trembled.

Ice began to shoot out the windows, followed by screams!

"What… what's going on in there?!"

"Pay attention to me boy!" the uncle demanded. "Show me what you can do!"

Shin, ignored him. Instead, his sights turned back to the school. He has to help…

But Shin was frozen in place.

He was trapped, he turned to the uncle who was using curse energy to restrain him. "Not so fast…"

"Release him, and I don't break your arm."

Shin, sighed with relief, from the corner of his eye, Nanami approached. He wasn't in a good mood to say the least!

"Hey this is…"

POW!

One punch… and Shin watched that uncle go flying!

"Whoa…" he whispered, but snapped back into reality. "Nanami sensei…"

"We need to get everyone home," he said bluntly.

"But inside…"

"Already taken care of for the moment, the sorcerer escaped just moments ago after receiving a message. Shin… there are mass casualties…"

He froze to this. "Students… died?" he asked.

"Yes, I suggest you not go inside. I am going in to get your friends and siblings…"

Shin nodded as he watched Nanami break down a door covered in ice. He could hear it crushed under his feet as he walked into the school. Yet, as he came out with the Fushiguros, he saw how distraught they were.

"How… how could someone do this? For what reason!?" Hoshi demanded.

"Is everyone okay?" Shin asked.

They nodded, but, before long. Nanami came out with Rook braced to him, along with Kiyoshi. "Bro! Kiyoshi!" he rushed to them, Rook was shaking his head. He was in tears to what he saw and Kiyoshi…

"I couldn't save them…" he whispered.

Rook then peered about, a look of panic soon came over him. "Wait… Mochi… where's MOCHI!?"

"Where did you last see her?" Nanami asked.

"She… She was on her way outside to help Shin, she sensed you were being surrounded and went outside…" Rook then looked panicked. "MOCHI!" He roared into the sky, but, she didn't answer…
