AN: There is a little violence in this chapter, and it skips time, and shows the end of October through November, hopefully it doesn't get confusing. Enjoy.

Chapter 51: Don't Mess With A Child Of Loki

"Anything interesting in there?" Ron asked Hermione. It was Monday morning, and Harry and his two best friends were at the Gryffindor table having breakfast while Hermione read that morning's Daily Prophet. When Harry woke after falling asleep in the Room of Requirement on Saturday, he was in his bed, in his room in Loki and Sirius's chambers; it was late evening. Harry had slept through the day. The moment he got out of bed and left his room, Loki and Sirius immediately started fussing over him, and since he had missed both lunch and dinner, Loki called a house-elf to bring Harry some food; after Harry ate, the three sat down on the sofa in the living area of their chambers and talked, not only about what was bothering Harry but to make him comfortable enough to talk, Loki and Sirius opened up to Harry. They told him about things in their past they'd never mentioned before, and the little family now knew more about each other than anyone had ever known about them and were now closer than ever, and the next day Harry moved his things from Gryffindor Tower to his bedroom, and have been avoiding having nightmares by meditating every night before bed, it helps clear his mind of all thoughts.

"Not much," Hermione answered Ron, "An article on all the good Fudge has done since becoming Minister, which isn't anything worth bragging about and Sturgis Podmore got arrested; he got caught sneaking around the Department of Mysterious Saturday night."

"So, still no word on Voldemort murdering thousands of people?" Harry demanded Sirius, and Loki told him what Voldemort had the Death Eaters do to Sokovia, plus what he did to Little Hangleton, and the news had disgusted Harry so much it made him feel sick.

"Of course, there isn't." Hermione said, folding the paper and setting it aside, "Fudge isn't going to admit something like that happened, especially when it means he'll have to admit You-Know-Know-who is back."

"I don't understand why he won't admit it," Harry said, "There are a lot who already believe it. He met as well confirm it."

"He can't do that. He's too far in denying it." Hermione said, "People will realize he was covering it up. He'd lose his position for sure."

"Isn't Sturgis Podmore a member of the order?" Ron asked.

"Yes, I believe so," Hermione said, taking a bit of her scone.

"He must have been guarding Harry's prophecy then, the reason he was at the Ministry," Ron said.

"Yeah, but why was he just walking around?" Hermione asked. "Shouldn't he have been in the room where the prophecy is?"

"Maybe he had to use the restroom or something," Ron shrugged and returned to his bacon. Harry looked down at his oatmeal with a frown. Loki and Sirius had warned him Voldemort was planning to try and lure him to the Ministry to get the prophecy. He wondered if someone lured Podmore from his place for some reason, maybe testing to see how easy it would be for someone to get in there to take the prophecy.

"Come on, we better get to class before we are late," Hermione said, standing and ending the conversation.

"We have History. Loki won't take points from us if we're late," Ron said.

Over the next few days, those closest to Harry could see a slight change in him. He seemed a little happier, less broody; the dark rings under his eyes were starting to fade, and he no longer looked like he was about to keel over. He even started sticking up for himself again, though he did walk away after and avoided physical fights or magical duels.

Cho was talking to Harry more now after he got tired of her having excuses for not hanging out with him; one morning, Harry walked into the Great Hall, went right to the Ravenclaw table, and sat the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, in the middle of the table where Cho and her friends sat, opened it to the chapter about Thestrals, and told them that was what pulled the school carriages, then walked away, later Cho returned his book and apologized for how she was acting and had admitted, it wasn't just her friends not wanting her to hang around him, it was her too, she had been worried and hadn't known how to talk to him, because he only ever said he was fine and would change the subject.

The third Saturday of October brought the first Quidditch game of the year, Gryffindor VS Ravenclaw. Harry was a little nervous. It was his first game against Cho's house since she became his girlfriend. Ron was now the new Gryffindor seeker, replacing Oliver Wood, and Angelina Johnson was the new captain. She had been able to put together a good team, though Ron had been the only new member. She had everyone try out to be fair to anyone wanting on the team, but mostly to see how they all still fit together with Oliver gone.

"Captains shake hands." Madam Hooch said after they did, Hooch blew her whistle, and they all went into the air. Harry glanced at Cho, who gave him a small smile and a wave before flying off in search of the Snitch; things had gotten better between them, though it felt at times a little awkward, and Harry was a little concerned about it, and tried to tell himself he wouldn't care if things ended between them, but the truth was, Harry, would care. He doubted he was in love with Cho, Harry knew he was too young for that, but he did care about her, and it would suck to get dumped.

Harry flew around looking for the Snitch while keeping an eye on what was happening in the game; Ravenclaw had a decent team themselves this year, with two new Chasers, Terry Boot and his friend, Micheal Corner, who, according to Hermione, was Ginny Weasley's boyfriend, news that had sent Ron into protective brother mood, and Harry briefly worried Ron would let his dislike of Corner dating Ginny interfere with the game, but when Harry glanced over at him, he saw that Ron was blocking most goals thrown his way; he missed one thrown by Terry Boot and a couple by the other Ravenclaw Chaser but blocked everyone thrown by Micheal Corner with a satisfied look. Harry figured he was doing all he could to ensure his little sister's boyfriend didn't beat him, and if that helped them win the game, Harry didn't care what Ron's motives were.

Harry turned from Ron to search for the Snitch, then turned back to the game for a moment, the Gryffindor Chasers, Katie Bell, Angelina Johnson, and Alica Spinnet, were scoring all their goals, and Fred and George were doing a good job keeping the Bludgers away from the Chasers, and knocking them back towards the Ravenclaws whose Beaters were doing the same, Harry decided to turn his full attention to finding the Snitch, and when Harry finally spotted it, Cho was on the other side of the field, Harry wasted no time flying toward it, and within minutes his hand clasped around the golden ball. He held his arm to the crowd's cheers while Madam Hooch blew the whistle. Gryffindor won, beating Ravenclaw by an embarrassing lead in just over an hour. Once Harry landed on the ground, his team surrounded him with handshakes and pats on the back. Katie Bell and Alicia Spinnet kissed him on the cheek, and Ron threw his arm around Harry's shoulder and playfully shook him. Harry looked toward Cho on the other side of the pitch, who watched him for a moment before turning and walking off toward Ravenclaw's locker room. He couldn't think much on it because Loki and Sirius appeared next to him to congratulate him and the team on their win.

After the match, Harry went to Gryffindor Tower to celebrate with his teammates and slept in the dormitory for the first time since he started staying in his room in his parents' chambers. He also had his first nightmare since his talk with Sirius in the Room of Requirement and had a hard time getting back to sleep since his scar had started to hurt. Harry had an overwhelming feeling of joy he couldn't explain. He wondered if he should mention this to Sirius and Loki but decided against it. It's not like they could do anything about it.

"There were no Horcruxes in the old orphanage nor the Cemetery next to it," Sirius announced one evening after speaking to Remus. He sat down at the table where Loki was helping Harry with his Astrology homework. "They are thinking about splitting up, and half of the team go to one place to look, and the other half go to a different place."

"Sounds like a good idea," Loki replied, then corrected Harry on the star's name before continuing his conversation with Sirius. "Their search should go quicker, cover more ground at once."

"They are starting to run out of places to look," Sirius said.

"Could one be here at Hogwarts?" Harry asked.

"I've thought of that," Loki replied, "been searching actually and haven't found anything or any places with unknown wards around it. If he ever had one here, he's moved it."

"How about the place he was born?" Harry asked, "Do we know where that was? Is it still standing?"

"I didn't think of that, Harry. You could be right," Loki said, a smile forming on her face. "Good thinking, sweetheart."

Harry turned back to his homework with a grin on his face. When Halloween came around, Harry skipped going to Hogsmeade and the feast to stay with his parents and help Loki keep Sirius's mind off of it being the fifteenth anniversary of James and Lily's deaths. They played games, filled up on junk food, and laughed with one another. By the end of the night, Harry and Sirius were on such a sugar high they stayed up all night, but once the high wore off, they both felt sick to their stomachs from eating so many sweets. They went to bed and slept all Sunday. Loki felt no effects of eating a lot of sugar and spent her day grading papers. When Hermione and Ron showed up looking for Harry, they decided to stay and hang out with Loki, and after she got done grading papers, she and Ron played chess.

"Happy Birthday," Harry told Sirius when November 3rd arrived. Sirius grinned and gave Harry half a hug as he handed him a gift.

"Thanks, kiddo," Sirius said, accepting the gift, and then Harry left the room and headed to breakfast. Later that evening, Loki, Harry, Ron, Cho, and Hermione stayed in Loki and Sirius's chambers and had a little mini-birthday party for him, complete with a birthday cake. It was Harry's idea. He had gotten Dobby, who now worked in the Hogwarts kitchens, to make it for Sirius.

The school year continued to drag on as the schoolwork got even harder. Harry spent most of his afternoons either doing Homework or having Quidditch practice and spent a lot of his time avoiding Umbridge, who had finished inspecting the teacher's classes and was now interviewing students, according to Fred and George, who had asked some of the older students and had found that Umbridge was barely asking questions about Hogwarts, how Dumbledore ran the school or the staff, not even about the student's grades, her focus was on Sirius, Harry, and Loki, but mainly about Loki and ended the interviews asking if they knew who their parents were voting for and encouraged them to put in a good word about Fudge. During this conversation, Harry noticed Fred and George started cutting holes in the bottom of the sleeves of the Muggle shirts they wore under their robes to stick their thumbs in and cover up their hands. He nearly winced at guilt for not telling anyone about Umbridge's quill. Harry hated to think of his friends having to write with it. But he also feared Loki and Sirius doing something drastic and getting in trouble, likely why Fred and George haven't told anyone yet, because Molly Weasley would almost be as bad as his parents if she found out.

"I have awarded you the grades you would have received if you presented this work in your OWLs," Snape said in one Potions class. "Most of you would have failed had this been your examination. I expect to see more effort for this week's essay on the various varieties of venom antidotes, or I shall have to start handing out detentions to those dunces who get a D."

"Some people got a D? Ha!" Malfoy cried out in laughter.

Harry looked down at his paper to see a D at the top, and when Hermione leaned over to see what grade Harry got, he handed her his paper. She frowned as she looked it over, deciding Snape wouldn't give him a fair grade no matter what. Harry decided brewing today's potion would be useless and ignored his cauldron, got out his defense book, and started to read.

"Think you are too good for your work, Potter?" Snape demanded, walking up to his table.

"No, sir," Harry said, sounding surprisingly cheerful, "but I figure you'll give me a bad grade no matter what I do, so why waste my time doing the work just for you to fail me?" Snape stood there and stared at Harry for once, at a loss for words.

"Very well, Potter, zero for this class," Snape said. He went to walk away but stopped and turned back to Harry. "And that's five points for refusing to do your school work."

Mid-November was the second Quidditch match of the year, Hufflepuff VS Slytherin. Harry and his friends sat in the stands, cheering on Hufflepuff. Cho had chosen to sit with them since her friends never watched the games unless Ravenclaw was playing; unfortunately, Slytherin beat Hufflepuff, whose new seeker, sadly, was nowhere near as great as Cedric Diggory. On top of that, they had two new Chasers and one new Beater, who didn't seem to be able to work together as a team. After the game, Harry walked with Cho until they made it into the castle, and then they shared a short kiss before she headed to her common room. He turned and headed up to Gryffindor Tower.

It was raining a little when the next Hogsmeade weekend came around, but that didn't stop Harry from going with Cho. Ron had to stay back because of detention with Snape, and Hermione decided to give Harry and Cho some privacy and stayed behind to study in the library. Cho and Harry enjoyed visiting all the shops, discussing Quidditch, and debating who would win the next match. When Cho complained about being cold, Harry suggested going into the Three Broomsticks to get a Butterbeer when-

"Hey, Potter." Malfoy's voice yelled from behind him, and Harry groaned as Malfoy, Nott, Crabbe, and Goyle walked up to either side of them. "I'm surprised your parents let you off the castle grounds unsupervised."

"I'm surprised you're willing to go out in the rain and get your hair wet, Malfoy," Cho said, causing Harry to grin, but then Nott stepped closer to Cho and put his arm around her. She immediately threw it off, and Harry stepped in front of her.

"You can do a lot better than Potter, Chang," Nott said,

Harry was about to tell Nott where he could go, but then Harry had a thought. Instead of getting angry and fighting like they wanted, he decided to annoy them back; Thor annoying Loki flashed in Harry's mind, giving him an idea, and instead of answering Nott, he turned to Malfoy.

"Cousin." Harry cheerfully cried as he threw his arm around Malfoy's shoulders like he'd seen Thor do to Loki, "It's good to see you."

"Cousin?" Nott demanded, "What the hell is he talking about?"

"Nothing, Potter is insane." Malfoy shoved Harry away from him.

"I'm not insane. Draco is my cousin," Harry said, "Why didn't you tell your mates that we are family?"

"We are not family, idiot." Malfoy snapped, his cheeks turning red.

"Your mum is my dad's cousin, is she not?" Harry asked, "That makes us cousins."

"That makes us nothing." Malfoy snapped, then turned and walked away, leaving his friends no choice but to follow.

"See you later, Cousin," Harry called after him. Malfoy paused, then walked on. Harry laughed as he put his arm around Cho and led her into the Three Broomsticks.

"Are you really related to Malfoy?" Cho asked as they went to the counter and ordered two Butterbeers.

"Yeah, Sirius is his Mum's cousin, but they don't claim each other," Harry said, nodding thanks to Madam Rosemerta as he paid for the drinks and handed Cho hers, then led her to an empty table.

"Why don't they claim each other?" Cho asked.

"Sirius didn't agree with his family's pureblood ideology, and it got him disowned," Harry answered, giving her a shot version.

"That's awful," Cho said, Harry shrugged.

"Sirius doesn't give a shit, he hated most of them anyway," Harry said. They lapsed into silence, and realizing Harry was now in a brooding mood, Cho brought up a different subject for them to discuss. After finishing their Butterbeers, they decided to call it a day and head to the school.

They had exited the Three Broomsticks and walked toward the castle when Harry suddenly felt a sharp pain hit his back that forced him face-first onto the ground.

"Let me go," Cho cried out as Harry felt a pair of hands roughly grab him by the arms and hold him up. Malfoy was standing in front of him, Nott was next to him, and Goyle stood off to the side holding Cho, so it had to be Crabbe holding him.

"You think you can embarrass me, Potter?" Malfoy demanded. Despite the serious situation, Harry rolled his eyes. It was pretty childish for Malfoy to be still angry about that.

"Cousin, you can't take a little teasing?" Harry said.

"Stop calling me that," Malfoy yelled, then sent another stinging hex at him, causing her to winch.

"You're going to pay for what happened to my father," Nott said, sending his own stinging hex at Harry.

"And mine," Crabbe said, tightening his hold on Harry.

"This is going to be fun," Nott added, his wand still pointed at Harry. Then Goyle suddenly groaned as Cho got him with a well-aimed kick to a specific place that had him dropping to his knees. She quickly pulled out her wand and pointed it at Nott.

"Expelliarmus"

Nott's wand went flying out of his hand. Malfoy pointed his wand towards Cho, but she blocked his curse with a shield charm. Harry brought his head back and struck Crabbe on the nose. He let go of Harry's arms and cried out; Harry then swapped his legs out from under him, causing Crabbe to fall. He quickly pulled out his wand just as Nott had collected it and pointed it at Cho.

"Protego."

Harry's charm blocked Nott's curse. Goyle recovered from Cho's kick and joined in the duel, but Cho hit him with a Tarantallegra, causing Goyle's legs to dance uncontrollably. Crabbe got back up, blood running from his nose. He pointed his wand at Harry, who quickly blocked the spell, then hit him with a Rictusempra, and he dropped to the ground laughing. The duel then turned into Malfoy and Nott versus Harry and Cho, the latter of which was pretty good at blocking Nott's cures while sending one back at him, but every couple of blocks, he was able to hit her with a curse or jinx, at one point Cho gasped as he hit her with a stinging hex that left a mark on her cheek.

While they were battling, Harry was dueling with Malfoy. They were nearly matched talent-wise, but due to all of Harry's training over the last three years, he was faster than Malfoy and blocked every one of Malfoy's spells just to hit him with one of his own; soon, the spells on Crabbe and Goyle faded off, and they joined Malfoy's side. And it turned into Harry trying to fight three to one. He had difficulty keeping up with who cast what curse and blocking it, so he kept a shield charm up until Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom were suddenly standing next to Harry. Luna took over battling Goyle while Neville took over fighting Crabbe, and Harry continued dueling Malfoy.

They didn't notice the crowd of onlookers gathering as Cho and the four Slytherins seemed to tire after ten minutes of fighting; Luna and Neville were new to the fight, and Harry was a half-Jotunn demigod who had been getting more sleep lately than he had in a while, all three still had a lot of energy, as the two Ravenclaws and two Gryffindors started getting the upper hand on the four Slytherins. Harry lost his concentration when Cho screamed and turned to see her hanging upside down in the air from a spell by Nott, who was below her laughing. Harry cast a Sheild Charm, blocking Malfoy's curse, while he held out his other hand toward Nott.

"Flipendo"

Gold magic shot out of Harry's hand and knocked Nott back several feet, hitting the ground hard, breaking whatever curse he had Cho. Harry quickly caught her from falling with the Levitating Charm and lowered her safely to the ground. Goyle and Crabbe gave up dueling Luna and Neville and ran over and helped Nott up and the three of them ran toward the castle, leaving Malfoy behind, and the people around them started clapping and cheering. Harry looked around, surprised to see so many onlookers had gathered around them. Harry glanced at Malfoy, who was still standing there with a shocked look. It dawned on Harry then that he had used two spells at once, a Shield Charm and the Knockback Jinx.

Thirty minutes later, Harry, Cho, Luna, Neville, and the four Slytherins sat in Professor McGonagall's office. In front of her desk, they were all covered in cuts and bruises. Goyle had boils all over his face and hands, and Crabbe had blood covering his face. They sat in silence as the adults in the room, Professors McGonagall, Snape, and Flitwick, along with Loki and Sirius, talked among themselves, with Sirius and Snape arguing more than talking.

"Enough." McGonagall snapped when the argument between Sirius and Loki was about to get heated. "You are adults; act like it."

"I just like to say I am appalled by the behavior of eight Hogwarts students in Hogsmeade today," Flitwick said. "Appalled.

"What made you think having a duel in the middle of the street was a good idea?" McGonagall demanded.

"They attacked us from behind, Professor. We were only defending ourselves," Cho said.

"Is that true, Mr. Potter?" McGonagall asked.

"Yes"

"Mr. Longbottm and Ms. Lovegood, how did you two get involved?" McGonagall asked.

"We saw Harry and Cho getting jumped and wanted to help our friends," Neville said, and Harry made a note to thank them later.

"And you couldn't run to an adult for help?" McGonagall said. Luna shrugged.

"Hogsmeade had no teachers, and the shopkeepers were watching the fight. No one attempted to stop it," Luna explained. McGonagall frowned, turned to Snape, and whispered something to him. He shrugged.

"They must now have showed up," Snape mumbled. McGonagall nodded and turned back to the students.

"They are lying, Professor. They are the ones who attacked us," Malfoy claimed. Loki rolled her eyes.

"We are not," Cho said, and McGonagall held up a hand, silencing them both.

"After defending yourselves, why didn't you walk away, head back to the castle, and alert a teacher or staff member on what happened?"

"How, the bloody hell, were we supposed to walk away when they kept casting spells at us?" Harry demanded. "It was four on two until Luna and Neville showed up; we couldn't disarm them all."

"Potter, don't speak to me in that matter," McGonagall said, "You will answer my questions respectfully, or I'll have to take points."

"Come on, was Harry just-"

"Sirius, I have every right to reprimand a student showing disrespect," McGonagall said, then turned back to Harry. "Now, since you were not the ones to start the fight, you will not get banned from Hogsmeade, but you did duel in the middle of the village, so you must get punished."

"Minerva," McGonagall held up her hand, cutting Sirius off.

"Ms. Chang, your and Ms. Lovegood's punishment is twenty points a piece from Ravenclaw, along with three days detention with Professor Flitwick, Mr. Potter, and Mr. Longbottom, twenty points a piece from Gryffindor, and three days detention with myself. I will also be sending letters to your parents or guardians."

"No need to send us one," Loki said, crossing her arms. "Sirius and I are already here to witness our child's unjust punishment." McGonagall signed and removed her glasses to rub the bridge of her nose before turning to the Slytherins.

"You four will also lose your house twenty points a piece, three days detention with Professor Snape, and be banned from the next two Hogsmeade weekends."

"What?" Malfoy cried, "But that's not fair."

"Isn't that a bit much, Minerva? How do we know Potter and his friends aren't lying?" Snape said.

"Don't call my son a lair, Snape." Sirius snapped.

"We were not there, Black. I am only suggesting we ask a few people who were before we start handing out punishments," Snape said.

"Enough." McGonagall cut into their argument, "Severus does have a point, and I will do as you suggest, and if it turns out Potter and his friends are lying, then the ban from Hogsmeade will switch to them. Now, I believe we are done, Mr. Crabbe and Goyle. You two should go to the infirmary and have Madam Promfry-"

"Professor, May I make a suggestion?" A voice said in the doorway, and Harry turned around to see Madam Umbridge standing there.

"What is it, Dolores?" McGonagall snapped.

"You and Professor Flitwick are busy people. I will more than be happy to oversee the detentions of Potter and-"

"No," Harry said; everyone turned to look at him.

"No? What do you mean no?" Umbridge demanded.

"I mean no," Harry said then he turned to McGonagall. "If you must give us detention, I would rather them be overseen by you and Professor Flitwink. Hell, I'd even be willing to have Snape handle our detentions, anyone but Umbridge. I will not allow her to cut up my friend's hands like she did mine."

You could hear a pin drop at Harry's words; simultaneously, they all looked from Umbridge then back to Harry as he realized too late what he had let slip out and in front of Loki and Sirius.

"Fuck."

"Language, Potter," McGonagall said, "And what did you mean by cutting up hands?"

"Nothing, don't worry about it." Harry tried to wave off his comment, but Sirius and Loki were already at his side. Loki grabbed his arm and rolled up his sleeve. When she saw nothing on that hand, she ordered Harry to show her the other. Harry, knowing now wasn't the time to disobey his mother, held his other hand out to Loki, who rolled up Harry's sleeve, and he watched as Loki's nostrils flared, and eyes widened as she stared at the words, I must not tell lies carved into his hand.

"A Blood quill," Sirius said, anger in his voice, as Loki turned to Umbridge.

"Now, I was authorized by the Minister to give whatever punishment I saw fit," Umbridge said.

"I doubt he meant cutting my son's hand open," Sirius shouted while Loki stepped towards Umbridge.

"Dolores," McGonagall said, "May I make a suggestion…run."

Umbridge let out a girly squeal, turned, and fled the room with Loki following her. Harry jumped up and chased after them; when he left the room, he saw Umbridge running down the corridor while Loki stocked after her. Students and staff stopped to watch as Umbridge yelled for help; Hermione and Ron appeared next to Harry, asking him what was going on. Harry didn't answer as he ran after Loki.

As Loki stocked toward Umbridge, she kept tossing small bits of magic at Umbridge, not enough to knock her down or hurt her, but enough to give her a little pain and remind her who was after her. Loki was toying with her, causing Umbridge more fear before she got her hands on her; Umbridge turned around, let out a scream at Loki being closer to her, then turned a corner and bumped right into Sirius, who had cut her off by using one of the secrets passages, Umbridge's eyes widened at the look Sirius was giving her, and backed up, only for Sirius to grab her by the front of her robes, and pull her to him, almost lifting Umbridge off her feet.

"You think you can hurt my son and get away with it? Sirius demanded, "I think not. I may have been disowned by my family and have different beliefs, but their blood still flows through my vines, and you'll learn why you shouldn't cross a Black."

"Please," Umbridge said, "The quill was Fudge's idea. You don't want to hurt me. I'm an innocent woman."

"Liar," Sirius said, then he roughly tossed Umbridge to Loki, who had just caught up to them. She grabbed Umbridge by the front of her robes, lifted her off the ground, and slammed her into the wall, holding her up at eye level.

"You dare hurt my son," Loki said, "You have no idea who I truly am, but you are going to find out what I'm capable of, and you will feel nothing but pain."

Loki let go of Umbridge and allowed her to fall. She then grabbed Umbridge's hair and dragged her towards a staircase, Sirius right behind her as she pulled Umbridge up the stairs and stopped at the first landing.

"Harry, you have to stop her," Hermione whispered, giving Harry a little push. Since he was standing there staring in shock, he nodded and hurried up the stairs. By the time he reached them, Loki had Umbridge by the throat, holding her over the railing, her eyes wide with fear.

"I'll let you choose," Loki said. "Die a fast death with me letting go and allowing you to fall to the stone floor below, or I can pull you back in and torture you until you die a slow, painful death."

"Stop," Professor Dumbledore suddenly appeared next to Loki on the landing before Harry even had a chance to say anything. "Professor Ikol, you are to pull Madam Umbridge back on these stairs and let her go."

"Headmaster, she-"

"I was just informed of what she did, and she will be punished for it, but I will not allow you to murder a Ministry official in my school, in front of my students," Dumbledore said, "Now, do as I say and pull her over here and let her go or else I will have no choice, but to fire you."

"Please," Harry said after Loki made no move to obey Dumbledore, "I don't want you fired. I need you here."

"Harry, this woman hurt you. She must be punished," Loki said. Sirius looked as if he was about to agree but sighed at Harry's pleading look, reached out, put his hand on Loki's arm, leaned toward her, and whispered.

"We will have our revenge; just be patient for now and do as Dumbledore requests. You're not only upsetting Harry, but you're frightening the other children."

Loki glanced down at what looked like all of Hogwarts looking up at her. The older children looked amused, some shocked, and some, like Fred and George, were cheering, but the younger children had wide, frightened eyes, while even the professors were speechless. She glanced at Hermione and Ron and saw fear in both their eyes.

"Please," Harry repeated, "She'll get what's coming to her, possibly Azkaban if that quill is illegal -"

"It is," Sirius said. Harry glanced at Sirius and then back to Loki.

"Look, at the cemetery, it was different. You killed Death Eaters that were trying to kill me. It was defense, but this killing for revenge is cold-blooded murder. You're better than that," Harry said.

"Harry, sweetheart-"

"Please, Mum," Harry said, "don't do it."

Loki paused at Harry calling her Mum, then looked towards Sirius, who nodded, the promise of revenge later still in his eyes. Then she glanced back down at Ron and Hermione. Neville and Luna were now standing by them. Neville looked terrified. Loki glanced at Harry and his pleading eyes, then growled and pulled Umbridge back over the railing, and tossed her away from her.

"Oh, thank you," Umbridge said, her face wet with tears. Loki glared at her.

"You've made the right decision, Professor Ikol." Professor Dumbledore said.

"Get her out of my sight, or I will kill her. I'm having a hard time stopping myself," Loki warned, and Harry stepped over and hugged her. Loki calmed at once as she put her arms around her son.

"Professor McGonagall." Dumbledore called to the Transfiguration professor, "Would you kindly escort Dolores to her chambers to pack? I want her off Hogwarts grounds within a half hour, and she is banned from my school and no longer welcome. Dolores, I will have words with the Minister and the School Governors. I will also question every student who has had detention with you. Your actions will not go unpunished."

Loki glared at Umbridge as she was helped up and walked away with Professor McGonagall. The moment they were off the stairs and walking down the corridor, Dumbledore disappeared back the way he had come, and Sirius hugged Loki from behind, calming her even more. Harry and Sirius were her family, and Loki promised herself she would do anything to protect them both. No one hurt her family, especially Harry; everyone will know you don't mess with a child of Loki.

AN: I hope how Loki and Sirius found out about Umbridge's quill is alright, I figured it was time to get rid of her, there isn't much more to write for the fifth year, and just want to get passed it soon, next chapter and possibly the one after show the Avengers.

I didn't want to ban Harry from Quidditch so, I had the fight in Hogsmeade instead, and Neville and Luna were added since I have something different planned from the fight at the Ministry, so they won't be involved, and I decided to be nice to Ron, and take away him being nervous playing Quidditch instead have him good at it.

When Snape said they must not shown, he meant the two three orders members that were supposed to be in Hogsmeade watching over the students.
