BREAK-IN
*BEGIN RECORDING*
"So Josh, um, why are we doing this in the middle of the night? On Halloween nonetheless?" Kyler asked his friend as the tape started recording. Showing off a bit of static until the image fixes itself to reveal that the location was taking place at a parking lot and a teenage boy, most probably Kyler's friend Josh, looking through his bag and grabbing two flashlights; one for him and one for Kyler.
Josh threw the flashlight at Kyler for him to catch. The camera jerked a bit as Kyler managed to catch the flashlight, though with a bit of a stumble by being caught off guard by the sudden throw.
"I told you that we are celebrating Halloween Night! And what better way to celebrate the spirit of halloween by staying overnight at a closed down restaurant." Josh said excitedly.
"Ok, yeah, sure. But, out of all the places you could've picked, why did you pick here?!" Kyler said as he pointed to the building that was nearby with his camera.
The building in front of them was that of a pizza restaurant. But it looked like it hadn't been open for some time. The giant words placed on the building labeled 'Freddie Fazbear's Pizza Place' with a silhouette of a female anthropomorphic bear in a pose, all while being lid by the glitchy neon pink colors in the dark night.
The camera turns back to Josh as he is grabbing his bag and straps it onto his left shoulder. Josh then gave a sigh, knowing what Kyler was feeling about this, "Y'know that those rumors happened all the way back in the 80s and 90s right? And besides, with all the mysteries and rumors spreading around this place, this is perfect to spend the night on halloween. And who knows, we could possibly be the ones who solved the mysteries behind Freddie's!"
Kyler was skeptical about this idea. He never went to the restaurant as a kid in person, but after hearing all of the rumors about murders, people going missing, and… robots that come to life at night. He didn't even wanna bother going there since Kyler is not the biggest fan of the paranormal. And plus, they could get into big trouble if they get caught by someone seeing them breaking and entering a private property.
Josh, noticing the silence and the look that Kyler was giving, decided to give him some assurance. "Come on Kyler, just one night. Alright? If it gets a little too much for you, then we'll just go home and do a horror movie marathon with the boys if th, okay?"
Kyler looked at Josh again and nodded hesitantly. "Alright, I'll go along with this. But we better make this quick, we still have to go to school tomorrow."
"Sweet!" Josh cheered. "Come on. I know a way to get inside."
"Okay, why did you think it's a good idea to go through the air vents? it's so cramped here and dark that I can barely see anything." Kyler complained while trying to get his flashlight to work, "And these flashlights aren't that useful. Seriously, where the hell did you buy these? From the dollar store?"
"Hey cut me some slack, ok? My grandpa bought these for me and my sis on our birthday. He didn't know any better." Josh said in defense.
"Sigh, whatever. I'll just use my cam's night vision. At least until we can find the exit through these vents." Kyler said as he turned on his night vision cam, 'Hope I don't lose too much battery while we're here.'
They both continued to crawl forward for who knows how long until Josh felt something underneath him. He pointed his working flahslight and saw that there's a hatch.
"Bingo! Found a way in! Quick give me the screwdriver."
Kyler immediately begins to search through his bag that he's been dragging with and finds the small screwdriver and hands it to Josh.
"Are you sure the bolts are the right size to fit the screwdriver in?" Kyler questioned.
"Welp, only one way to find out for sure." Josh said with a smile as he began to unscrew the slightly rusted vent hatch.
Josh only managed to remove two screws until it opened underneath him before he fell through.
"Holy shit, JOSH! JOSH ARE YOU OKAY?!" Kyler called out to his friend. He looked down at the open hatch and saw that, thankfully, his friend landed on a ball pit as a cushion.
Josh popped his head out of the ball pit and shouted, "Yeah! Good thing I had a bouncy landing, haha! Jump down here!"
Kyler hesitated for a bit until he fell through the hatch and landed in the ballpit. Kyler popped his head out and began looking for Josh, but he couldn't see him anywhere. Did he leave somewhere?
"Josh?... Josh?... This isn't funny! Stop messing with me man!" Kyler called out until he felt something on his shoulder. Kyler immediately flinched and let out a scream. He then noticed who that hand belongs to.
"Josh! You fucking asshole!" Kyler yelled, pissed off at Josh's little prank.
"Hahaha! You should have seen the look on your face! Haha!" Josh said, trying his best to contain his laughter. "Come on, let's start exploring!"
Kyler couldn't help but grumble in annoyance before following Josh out of the ballpit.
After the two friends got out of the ballbit, they began exploring the pizzeria. The whole building was completely dead silent as they kept walking with Kyler looking through his cam, while Josh shining his flashlight in every direction. They both walked through the dining area until they reached a door labeled: 'Backstage - Employees Only'.
"You think that's where the power breaker is?" Kyler questioned
"I don't know. Let's see." Josh shrugged his shoulders.
Josh opened the door and stepped in first while Kyler followed behind. The whole room was filled to the brim with dust. There were some stage performing costumes spread all around the floor.
There were even a couple of robotic parts spread on a desk, mostly limbs like arms and legs.
They both search for at least a form of a power breaker or a switch throughout the Backstage until they came out with nothing and retreated back to the main dining area.
"OK, so, clearly this isn't working out. So, let's split up. I'll take a look in one of the other rooms and you'll check the kitchen." Josh said.
"How are you even sure there's even power in this place anyways?" Kyler questioned with a skeptical look on his face. "I feel like we're literally going on a useless wild goose chase."
"Have a little bit of faith in me, my good sir. I've already been here before and I remember clearly that this place still has power. I just forgot where it was." Josh said with a flustered look for admitting that little detail before shifting it to a more exciting smile. "And hey! We might as well still explore the place while we are at it, right?"
"Oh, okay the– Wait a minute… What do you mean by "I've already been here before"?" Kyler double took what Josh had said earlier.
"You know what I mean by that, Kyler. How else would I have found out about this place?" Josh said before continuing to walk away from Kyler.
Kyler just stood there with the camera still in his hand as he couldn't help but sigh.
Kyler made his way to the Kitchen doors and he can't help but still be crept out by the silence around this place. The only sound he could hear was the sound of footsteps.
Wait… footsteps?
Kyler already knew it was him because his shoes were drenched in mud from walking behind the pizzeria. Which in result made a more squishy noise.
But why does he hear faint sounds of footsteps behind him?
Kyler immediately turned around and saw nothing besides the dining tables filled with party hats and confetti. But he could have sworn he saw a blur past before he had time to look.
He suddenly heard… humming?
He turned to his left and saw that the humming was coming from behind a purple curtain located on a small stage. He walks up to the stage with caution as he grips one of the purple curtains. Just as he was about to open it, He got jumpscared by the lights shining all over the pizzeria, making him blind for a sec. It took him a bit to readjust his eyesight before he looked around.
"Huzzah! We have Power!" Josh cheered.
Kyler could help but smile at his friend's goofiness in an attempt to lighten the mood, even if Josh didn't intend to at the moment.
"I'm gonna take a big fat guess that you found it?" Kyler asked.
"Yup, I actually found a generator in the 'Parts and Service' room located where the arcade is at. Speaking of which, let's play some of the games this place has while we are at it!"
"Josh, didn't you say that you wanted to investigate this place while we are here?' Kyler questioned with a raised eyebrow. "We can't be fooling around."
"Yeah, but that can wait for a bit. Let's just have some fun while we are at it! This is a once in a lifetime man!" Josh said excitedly.
"Hmmm… oh alright. But we'll only play a few games and that's it!"

1 Hour Later

The two teenagers have been playing in the arcades for an hour straight having the time of their lives. They played a variety of games like Pac-Man, Air Hockey, ski-ball, etc. They then went to the last game that Kyler's been wanting to play, Whack-a-mole. Or in this case Bonk-a-Bon. Kyler began to play after inserting a quarter he still had left in his pocket. The game lit up like a christmas tree and began to play a little song.
Kyler began whacking the little bonnies that pop-up. But it didn't last as all of a sudden, the machine began to shake and then shut itself off. And then the rest of the arcade followed suit.
"Well… that just happened…" Josh commented.
"Yeah… weird," Kyler said.
"Anyways, maybe we should check out the main stage." Josh suggested.
"Sure…" Kyler simply said as he kept looking around the arcade.
Something did not feel right when that happened. But he can't put a finger as to what.
"Alright, here it is! The Main Stage." Josh said as they made it back to the Dining area and headed toward the large stage.
It was covered by red curtains with a star pattern design. Kyler was less enthusiastic then Josh was so to speak.
"That's it? Josh, I think you might be overreacting a bit." Kyler said while looking at Josh with a raised eyebrow "I'm pretty sure they'd taken all of the animatronics before they closed down."
"Oh, and that is where you are wrong my good friend! Check this out!" Josh said excitedly.
Josh ran up next to the stage and pressed a button that was labeled 'Showtime' on top of it. Suddenly, the main lights were turning dim and the stage light lid up and automatically pointed towards the stage.
"L-L-Ladies and Gentlemen! Put your hands together for the one. And only. F-F-F-Freddie and the Fazbear Band!" A pre-recorded announcer blared through the speakers and upbeat techno music began to play; though it sounded a bit distorted.
The stage curtains begin to pull back slowly but then suddenly…
…the power went out on the stage.
Silence began to fill the room once again as the two teenage boys stood there.
"Ahh, Now what the fuck just happened?" Josh said, outraged.
"I'm guessing it's broken?" Kyler responded, all of a sudden feeling a chill running down his spine.
"What?! There's no way! Man, what a bummer." Josh commented in annoyance.
"Josh…?"
Josh all of a sudden heard a whisper calling out to him in one of the darker rooms. It kinda sounded… familiar?
Kyler was slightly freaking out by the sudden events that's been happening recently. "You know what? M-M-Maybe we should just leave for the night. We can c-c-come back tomorrow right?" Kyler stutters in fear as he feels a chill on his spine.
Josh didn't respond.
Kyler turns around and sees his friend has disappeared. "Josh?... Josh?!" Kyler calls out to his friend. But to no response.
'Agh, Now I feel like he's just messing with me at this point. I need to find him and–' Kyler's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of pots and pans hitting each other in the Kitchen.
Kyler, hoping that Josh is now just trying to scare him again, walked slowly towards the sound with caution. Once he reached the double doors, he opened them slowly and shined his flashlight around the room, with the camera shaking a bit from Kyler's trembling hand.
"Josh? Are you in here?" Kyler called out to his friend in a nervous whisper, slowly wandering around the kitchen. "This isn't funny dude! Q-Q-Quit playing man.."
Kyler then hears the sound of banging and he rapidly turns around and points at the camera at the opening and closing cabinets.
Wait a minute…
Those cabinets shouldn't be opening or closing by themse–
Then the plates came crashing down from the upper cabinets, which made Kyler snap out of his stupefied state and began booking straight to a safe place he could think of at the moment. The Backstage.
After he left the Kitchen, he didn't notice a yellow figure with white dots for eyes glaring at him from a distance.
Kyler made it to the Backstage and he secured the door with a lock. Kyler looked like was on the verge of breaking down. Breathing heavily and rapidly, hands and knees shaking. After he left the Kitchen, he immediately felt dread and fear coursing through his body. The atmosphere around this place has drastically changed, but he can't put a damn figure as to why or how!
Kyler has to find Josh and get the hell out of here!
All of a sudden, his camera begins to glitch and flicker. Repeating the same words over and over.
"̴͍̑̾I̷̹͙̾t̸̜͈́'̵̢̛Ś̴̢ ̵̓ͅM̴̖͉̌e̵̺̩̓͠"̴̺̉̍
"̴͍̑̾I̷̹͙̾t̸̜͈́'̵̢̛Ś̴̢ ̵̓ͅM̴̖͉̌e̵̺̩̓͠"̴̺̉̍
"̴͍̑̾I̷̹͙̾t̸̜͈́'̵̢̛Ś̴̢ ̵̓ͅM̴̖͉̌e̵̺̩̓͠"̴̺̉̍
It then stopped and began to record as normal. Kyler was freaking out as he thought he heard someone saying those exact words whispering into his ear.
"What the fuck was that?!" Kyler shouted as he looked around frantically. As he was walking backwards, he tripped on something and fell on his back.
"Gah.. What the hell?!" Kyler grunted while rubbing his back. He looked at where he tripped and saw… a garbage bag?
It was weird that there was a single trash bag being placed in a room like this, but the way it was shaped was… odd…
Like there's somebody inside the bag.
He grabbed the two straps and loosened them. As soon as he opens the bag he sees…
"Josh…?" Kyler whispered in fear and dread as the temperature of his body dropped cold dead. He sees Josh with his throat slit and crooked at an awkward angle, and his eyes bloodshot and lifeless. Kyler also notices a strong sense of smell coming from inside the bag that almost makes him wanna puke. He sees more of the inside of the bag and, as he expected, was the source of fresh blood leaking parts of his body and-
Wait… is that… semen?
Kyler then hears something banging from the door. It was banging so aggressively at the door that the lock hinges were slowly coming off with every hit. Kyler begins to panic as he tries to find a place to hide. He decides to hide underneath the table. The door kept on banging until it stopped and Kyler sees the hinges have completely fallen off. The door slowly creaked open as a pair of black sneakers walked inside of the room.
Kyler had to hold his breath, but he couldn't help but shed a couple of tears from the tension of not getting caught.
The footsteps stopped, which Kyler felt like his heart almost stopped beating. He sees the figure walking towards the body bag that was behind him. Without even giving a second thought, he crawled out of the desk and started booking it towards the entrance. When he made it he began banging and pulling trying so desperately to get out of this place.
"Dum Dum Diddley-Dum Dum Dum. Dum Dum Diddley-Dum Dum Dumm."
He then hears someone humming from behind. He then turned around and saw a female red-fur fox with a pirate aesthetic and wearing a hook.
"Guess yer stuck like a barnacle on a ship, aren't cha?" The red fox chuckles. "Well, now yer stuck… With Me!"
Her grin grew twice the size, showing more of her fangs, before pouncing straight towards Kyler.
Kyler ducked just in time, missing merely an inch of his hair, almost getting caught by her hooked, and ran for his life. He could hear the sound of pitter patter coming from behind him, getting closer and closer.
Kyler ran down a hallway and sees a light shining through a doorway. He immediately went towards it without a second thought and as soon as he entered the room, he noticed that it was a small office with another doorway in front of him. He turns around and sees two bright buttons: a red one and a white one.
As soon as he once again heard the sound of rapid footsteps getting closer, he pressed one of the buttons without giving a second thought and, luckily enough, pressed the door button and a metallic security door came down fast and slammed shut just in time before the red fox came close to coming in.
Kyler just stood there, breathing heavily and sweating bullets right now. He didn't want to move at any moment in case something else happened since he's just standing there in silence. He then hears another set of footsteps and in a panic closes on the other door.
Kyler couldn't help but let his body shake in fear as he walks backwards and once his back reaches towards the wall he slides down onto the checkerboard floor. All of the events that transpired in one night is starting to sink in to Kyler. Something is really fucked up in this place. He lost his best friend, He can't get out without going back to where he entered from (which is impossible in his situation), and now he's trapped in an office with two animatronic robify that are not supposed to be moving, cornering him outside of his door, waiting.
And speaking of which, he then hears the sound of loud banging coming from his doors. On his left side, he sees dents forming from every bang, giving him the idea as to how strong these machines can be. He starts panicking more and more as the banging gets louder as he sees more heavier dents forming on the metal doors. The only thing he could do was just sit there, close his eyes and pray that this was all just a nightmare and that he would wake up soon. But he still could not contain his tears from falling out of his eye sockets.
But then, all of a sudden, everything stopped.
From the loud banging to the sound of the tv monitors, which were all on in static when he entered the .
'Is it over?' Kyler thought as he opened one eye and saw that everything around him was dark and the two doors that were closed are now completely opened.
He was also baffled that the two robots that were right outside of each door have all of a sudden disappeared. Was it all real? Was he just hallucinating the whole thing? It couldn't be! Everything that happened felt all too real.
He can faintly hear something beeping on the office desk. He slowly got up to his feet and walked towards him, even if his legs were still feeling numb from all the running. He sees a small tablet that was connected to the multiple small monitors on the desk, blinking an image of an red-colored empty battery with a slash over it on the screen. Obviously, he could immediately tell what it meant and he was hoping that was not the case.
The generator must have fully died out. But how? And why didn't they take advantage of this and strike him right then and there?
He then hears a giggle from the left doorway. It was so pitch black he couldn't even see the other side. He then hears a music box playing from that same doorway.
And then a face illuminates itself from the darkness. The big anime like eyes with those baby blue irises. A smile that makes it look friendly on the outside, but on the inside holds a much more sinister purpose. The figure got closer revealing the main star of the pizzeria: Freddie Fazbear.
"W-W-Well, hello handsome~" Freddie said with a seductive tone walking into the room closer to Kyler. And Kyler noticed more up close how tall these robots are that they were towering over him. And he was only close to being 5'7.
"Guess this must be your lucky night to be in my presence. But don't you worry, because this will be the only time you'll get to experience it. Before I slid your throat and watched you bleed out until you are nothing but an empty dead corpse." Freddie's eyes immediately turned hollow black with with white glowing dots.
And before Kyler could act, Freddie lunged at him. Making him drop his camera. The camera could not see what was happening but it could pick up the sound of Kyler's distressed tone.
"Wait wait wait! Please! Please don't! No No NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO–"
*END RECORDING*
HOOOLYYY CRAAAP! I finally finished this before the end of the year. I'm sorry if i've been inactive for quite some time. I've just been going through some changes in my life and… gaming has just been to addicting man.
Ever since I finally bought my steam deck I've been playing a lot of PC games on it and also having to deal with real life issues.
But anyways, this chapter is not just a "Halloween Special" that was supposed to release on halloween nor is it chapter 2 as you can tell after reading it, but it has more importance as we progress more throughout this story. I don't know how many I will make of these, but they will be released at random. So be on the look out.
Obviously, this will be the last thing I will upload until next year comes around and hopefully it will be even better than this year. Thank you all for your patience and support and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!
