In the last chapter jaune requested for rogue to build something to honor pyrrha memory after her passing. Their was also her near death experience in the woods almost paralyzing her. RWBY belongs to Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum. I own the OC's, AU. Hope you enjoy!

Chapter 5 Orange:Planning and Searching

The two blonde walked into the hayley sisters room. Jaune took a seat at the desk while Rogue sat on her bed looking at Pyrrhas weapons in hand. They felt forigen to her as she held them but it also felt nostalgic to her remembering her old friend. She caressed the shield smiling to herself a little.

"So what are you probably going to do with them?"jaune curiously questioned

Rogue stared at them for a second before thinking of what she could do with pyrrhas weapons. Jaune already has the sheild pyrrha gave him but she could make an upgrade to it with her dads tools.

As for akouo she might keep it, so that pyrrhas always their by her side protecting her. She could use the parts from milo to upgrades jaunes sword maybe.

"I'll probably do some modifications to them so shes always with us in a way"rogue replied but looked at jaune.

He came to her so she could work with pyrrha weapons. Either he has a plan for something big right now or he is planning to do something in with them. That would either be to continue his studies as a huntsman or go after Team BRAS.

"Thats great how soon will they be done?"jaune questioned quickly.

The tinker tapped her chin"about a week and a half if I do a few sleepless nights. Though dad might help with it"rogue replied

"But your planning something since your asking for an upgrade aren't you?"rogue asked knowingly.

Jaune looked at her as she seemed to hit the mark as his eyes widden a little. He sighed a little as he collapsed his hand together as he stared at the floor.

"Yeah….after the funeral Thetis gave me something that was meant for me, you and Eria"jaune said catching rogue attention.

"What do you mean…should I grab Eria?"rogue asked as jaune shook his head.

"No, with how she is right now she won't be able to help. Along with that probably stop us from what i'm going to tell you"jaune said as rogue sounded a little intrigued.

"Okay, what did thetis give you?"rogue asked

Soon Jaune reached into his back pocket as he pulled out a scroll. Their was the symbol of a sword and shield on it which meant it only belongded to one person. This was pyrrhas scroll.

Jaune opened the scroll as he shifted through the menu and clicked something on it. Then he turned it to her and a video popped up. Rogue didn't like the looks of this because the last one she saw wasn't all that pleasant.

Jaune hesitantly tapped the play button on the video. The video started as it looks like it was back at Beacon in one of the dorm rooms but it quickly answered which one as Pyrrha was sitting on her bed in her room of Team JNPR.

"Hello Eria,Rogue and Jaune. If your seeing this video then I am no longer alive. There are so many things I want to tell you all but we only have so much time"the purrde in the video replied as she took in a breath.

"I said i'd never hide anything from you two or from you jaune. Well what i'm going to tell you three is that it stays between us. Ozpin needed me for something. There is a darker force that you are going to be fighting against and he wanted us all to be prepared to fight it. A threat that goes by the name of Salem. Cinder knows this as well and escaped her graspe once but considering what has happened she is more likly dead as well."pyrrha added

"But along with that she seems responsible for helping Watts experiment on people who are known as grimm hybrids. I just hope nothing bad happens to Zane from this. If she is making people who are part grimm she is raising an army of obeident soilders it seems who follow her will. "Pyrrha said in the video as rogue sighed with a sad expression.

"Rember the fairy tale called the four maiden. Its not just a fairy tail. It's real. Along with the relics. These relics can never fall into salems hands or it could be the end of all remnant. From what ozpin told me there are four vault within the four academies. And that these vault can only be opened by the maiden powers. Find these relics and the maidens, make sure they never fall into the wrong hands"pyrrha said in the video

She then gave a downcasted look before speaking"cinder told me of who is working for Salem. Bonnie Thanotos, Rosemary Kuchisake, Adder Tannin,Scar Watts. They are working for salem and you must be cautious of them"pyrrha warned.

She then started to tear up as if she didn't want to cry"I don't want you to be mad at me but i've chose this. I've made this choice so I could protect the people that I care about. Eria, Rogue, Nora,Ren…Jaune. You all mean so much to me and if it means I have to make the ultimate scarfiece then…i'm glad that I got the chance to know everyone. I'm proud of you Rogue,Eria and especially you jaune. I'm also proud to call you two like sisters even. And Jaune I will always love you. All I ask of three is to not forget about me and always….keep each other safe okay"she said as tears were falling down her face.

"Goodbye….my two little sisters. Jaune…I love you….and I love you two as well"pyrrha finished as the video stopped.

This was a final message from Pyrrha which honestly made Rogue a loss for words. It was just like Zanes but except for him he was just scared to hurt his friends it seems. Both of them knew that for other to be safe they needed make the ultimate scarfiece. Now with hearing these word rogue looked at milo and akouo then at jaune.

He was wiping a few tears from his eyes because that was the second message he saw in a week from a dead friend.

"You wanna go after those four don't you?"rogue aksed kwowingly.

Jaune nodded his head"I talked about it with Ren and Nora their on board with it. But were wondering if Ruby got an idea on what we can do. We can see if her and yang wanna join going to see why they attack and figure out what this salem is planning."jaune replied

"Your wondering if I want to come with?"rogue replied

"Yeah, its your choice I'm not going to force you to do this"jaune replied

She thought for a moment that she could go with him. But Eria might need help since she lost her right leg. Although she also wanted to get payback for their friends against those four. She narrowed her gaze as she looked up at jaune. He waited for her to speak as they stared at each other.

"I'm going with you….for our friends"rogue answered as jaune gently nodded.

"Alright, though I can't believe those two sent those message still"jaune said

"Yeah I understand Pyrrha might have know she might have died. But Zane I think he was scared that he could hurt us. We don't really know what crazy experiments they did to him."rogue said as she looked at her dresser.

Their on her dresser was their team photo as they were all smiling. She looked at each person in the photo smiling a little. But frowned seeing her sister with both legs while Zane was gone.

"but…I just wish he didn't do this to us."rogue finished as she let more tears escape. Jaune noticed this walking over to her.

Before she knew it she was wrapped in a tight embrace by jaune. She was a little surprised by this but returned it as the two thought about their friends they lost. They soon let go of each deciding to do some research it seems.

Rogue was geting to work on some ideas for their weapons. While Jaune did some reasearch on his scroll it seems. The blonde girl was busy trying to see how she could incoprted the two weapons into their aresenal. While Jaune looked at each member of team BRAS.

For Rosemary he found a few articles about her that were interesting. Apparently her mother died during child birth which left her with her father. But around eight years after that in mistral she supposedly killed her father in self defense. The girl in the article had several bruises on her and a long scar across her mouth.

Although a few months after that the girl mysteriously disappeared from the face of remnant it seems. Which means she must have ran away to join salem. Then their was Adder Tannin the snake faunus.

He supposedly lived in vacou for a long time in a small village. But soon their village was attacked by bandits and their were no survivors. The only reason it brought his name up because he was one of the missing bodies never found. Though another article talks about a mine collapse in an SDC mine.

Their a girl named Frida Tannin was killed in the mine collpase. Along with a worker killing two guards their which blamed Adder for their murders. Then another article about a snake faunus assassin dubbed the Serpant. Which meant Adder might be a hired killer working for salem.

The next was Scar Watts, several articles talked about his father Arthur Watts. His many achievements and medals he had in science, bio engineering, grimm genetics and several others. But apparently he did have a wife it seems which is shocking. Though she apparently died in a car accident with their son. Though that doesn't seem to be true right now.

"Ok this is weird, it seems all of them were presumed dead or mising."jaune said

"Yeah, seems they either faked their deaths or someone snatched them up"rogue added as she kept drawing on the blueprints.

The last was their leader Bonnie Thanotos which was extremely strange. That she practically never existed in the first place. No birth certificates or anything it seems. Which begged the question who this girl was exactly. The only thing was some women names Mara she was killed at the age of twenty but no mention of a daughter. But that was almost twenty years ago.

"Okay this is weird, it says here bonnie never existed before. Their nothing no birth certificates,death certificates or she has a mom it seems who says had no children."jaune

The women known as Mara seemed to look a little like bonnie from when they saw her. Though that begged the question what this meant.

"Hmm maybe those two know about them?"rogue asked as jaune knew who they meant. Mercury and emerald, they decided to fill the two in on their little plan. They just hoped they wouldn't snitch on them to her parents.

Rogue silently went downstairs peeking over the edge to look into the living room. She heard a familiar voice to her which was her leaders. The girl looked at the couch as Eria was staring at her scroll as a few tears came from her eyes.

She soften her gaze as Rogue didn't really hear most of the message from him since she got mad at it. But she sat there silently listening.

"Though I gotta apolgize to three people, especially with some words of wisdom. Eria, watch out for your sister out there. Also in my opinion you're always the cool and level headed one of the team. You don't show it but…I know you care for us. You'll be a great leader in my steed"zane voice echoed as rogue eyes went a little wide.

He practically just said Eria was her team leader now and soon the video was turned off at that point. She could hear her sister crying a little from hearing that some of the others tried to console her it seems.

"That dumb clown…why did he have to do that….why"Eria questioned as rogue sat on the stairs.

"I don't know, it seems he wanted to protect you all from him."jaki replied to his daughter.

"Hey, he thought what he was doing was right. If that watts guy got control of him again. "Emerald begun as she sighed for what she was about to say next.

"That if it did happen that he killed one of you….he'd never forgive himself. He couldn't risk it happening."emerald added on.

Rogue heard her sister choked a little as she wept. She sighed as she slowly made her way down the stairs. But as she slowly walked down she listened to her sister talk.

"He could have been still alive…if he just went with ace ops"eria said as she heard a familiar ice queen voice.

"Yes, but your friend wouldn't have been treated like a prisoner their."Winter said which caught rogues attention as she stopped on the stairs.

"What do you mean by that?"Weiss asked confused

This made rogue wonder what they were talking about exactly what was ironwood going to do to her heard winter sigh heavily as she cleared her throat.

"Ironwood said that we were to detain him and lock him up like before. In simply terms he be locked up like a wild animal. "Winter replied but she seemed to be hiding something it seems.

"So your saying the guy would have been locked up like some exhibit at the zoo"mercury said as winter answered him.

"Yes, though right now I need to return to Atlas command right now. I'm going to head back to your home Thetis to pack up. Weiss, mother will be here in a couple weeks to pick you up"winter said

"Your not taking me back?"weiss questioned confused it seems.

"No, mother wants to personally see if your alright. Along with Whitley and Wren, i'll be seeing you. My ship leaves tonight."Winter said as a couple minutes passed by as a pair of footsteps walked toward the door and left.

Rogue sat their for a bit sighing heavily as she put her head on her knees. Right now her twin sister was crying again as she seemed to remember the relization of all the people they lost during the fall.

As she sat their soon enough someone came to the stairs and she looked to see two people she wanted to get. Their in front of her were Mercury and Emerald staring at her wondering what she was doing.

Emerald was about to say something but rogue shook her head to be quiet. The two were confused for a second until she motioned the two to come with her. The two olblgied it seems as they followed her upstairs.

The three headed back to her and eria room as they all got comfy it seems. Jaune was still looking at articles as he looked at the three. They had some sad expression it seems but he didn't want to press.

"So why do you want us to come here?"emerald asked as she leaned back into a chair.

"Yeah, whats up sunshine?"mercury qeustioned worried.

Rogue took a deep breath and looked toward Jaune. He looked at her before giving a approving nodd to let them know about their plan.

With a deep breath she spoke"me and Jaune are planning something in a week and a half. "Rogue stated as the two looked confused.

"Umm what are you talking about?"emerald questioned confused.

"What don't tell me its a surprise birthday party"mercury joked to lighten up the room as they stared at him. He put a hand up as he decided to back off.

"No…were going to head back to Vale. more importantly the patch to check on Ruby and Yang. "jaune replied. The two seemed a little surprised by this because it seemed pretty normal.

"Oh thats nice should we tell the other ab–"mercury about it before rogue stopped him.

"Don't tell them about this"rogue intertuped which confused the two what they were planning.

As they stared at the two it came to Mercury it seems as he looked at them concerned.

"You two are thinking of going after those four aren't you?"mercury asked as emerald went wided eyed.

"Yeah, me, Jaune,Ren and Nora are going to meet at the patch. Were going to see if Ruby and Yang want in"rouge replied

Emerald shook her head"your talking about going on a quest for revenge right now"emerald said

"Come on you two this isn't what they would want you too do. What do you hope to accomplish"mercury asked

Jaune looked at them confused"umm we aren't going to kill them. Were going to see if we can figure out their next move. Along with maybe beating the snot out of them…no killing though"jaune said quickly.

Emerald looked at him studying him for a second it seems. Then she soften her gaze as she sighed not liking what shes going to say.

"Look if your asking us to come….i'm in"emerald said to mercury surprise.

"Emerald are you serious?"mercury questioned as she nodded.

"Yeah, those four took Cinder along with alot of our friends. We need to stop them"emerald replied

"Agreed, so you in merc or you gonna tell my parents"rogue asked looking at her boyfriend who studied her for a second. The assassin seemed to be in deep thought as they waited for his answer. As they did soon he narrowed his gaze looking at the three.

"Fine i'm in, but only to watch your backs"mercury answers. Rogue smiled a little giving him a affirming nodd thanking him it seems.

"Alright, if were doing this and we really are doing this. We need to prepare for the next week and a half. "Jaune began.

"Hes right that why jaune brought pyrrhas stuff here he wanted me to upgrade his gear alongside mine. I could upgrade those legs of yours?"rogue gestured toward mercurys legs.

"Huh what are you talking about?"jaune asked confused looking at mercury.

He sighed before he lifted his pant leg up showing his calf that was a metal prosthetic. Jaune went wide eyed at seeing that and was a little surprised to see that.

"Wait….the match during yang dual….you faked it?"jaune asked as mercury nodded.

"I didn''t have a choice….they had Neo and Yahto. They said follow their orders or they kill them. "Mercury said as he clenched his fist wondering if Neo was oaky. That girl must be hurt right now losing her father anf cousin again.

Jaune soften his gaze as he took a deep breath looking at him with a smile.

"If you did it to protect your teammates and friends it understandable. But lets look out for each other out their"jaune said as the four looked at each other. They had a new mission in mind and that was to prepare for their return to Vale.

They had a week and a half to prepare for the trip, Mercury and Emerald left to head to bed while Jaune left to stay at his sister since they were talking for so long it was night. Rogue was busy at her desk drawing up plans on improving jaune sword and implementing pyrrha weapon into his and hers gear.

Though her sister eria was on the bed as she slept soundly on the bed. Rogue had a small lamp as a light source to help her see. As she drew in her notebook she glanced around her shoulder. She looked at eria sleeping soundly in her bed as she slept.

But right now she had a goal in mind, and if she was going to do this. Eria couldn't be in the loop right now. She'll get payback for their friends they lost and she promises that she won't lose anymore friends. Rogue immediately got to work as she drew up plans for a new project of hers.

It seems rogue and jaune got mercury along with emerald on board for their revenge plan. But they learned a bit of history about team BRAS and how bonnie looks an awefully like some women from years ago. Till next time!
