Chapter 10 Orange: New Journey
In the backyard of the cabin Merucyr and Yang were clashing with each other for their little rematch. Rogue was watching them both monitoring their aura while Zwei sat next to her. He was watching too as he panted as he moved his head back and forth watching them.
So far Yang used thirty percent of her aura while mercury used about thirty two percent of his. The two were close to each other but they seemed to be evenully matched.
The two soon jumped back from each other to create space. Almost immediately Mercury lunged forward at her to see if he could kick her. Though yang wiated for him to get close enough before he grabbed him by his metal ankle and she tossed him to the ground hard. This knocked down eight percent of his aura.
Mercury got up as he dusted hismelf off from the impact"nice throw blondie. Though i'm better"mercury commented
"Oh really lets see then"yang replied as she got back into a fighting stance and so did he.
The two started to circle each other for a bit before this time Yang charged leading with her right fist rushing mercury. They traded blows with other as they each managed to land a blow on the other.
Rogue watched their aura and saw how both of them were going down pretty fast. Though whoever depleted first she wonder who would drop first. Then at the same time both threw punches as they screamed a war cry. Yang fist conencted to mercury right cheek while his fist connected to her left cheek. Rogue winced as both their aura level dropped.
The two soon fell down to the ground after taking those punches from each other breathing rather hard as they laid next to each other.
"Okay…that hurt I can't feel my jaw"mercury panted.
"Yeah…ughhh it hurt to talk"yang panted as well.
Rogue walked over to them with zwei following them. Soon zwei walked over to mercury as he licked the guys face. Mercury chuckled as he petted the small dog while on his back.
"So you guys wanna know who won?"rogue asked
"I totally did just like last time"yang boasted about her previous victory.
"In your dreams blondie I got you this time"mercury countered.
Rogue slightly smirked"actaully…you both won and lost"rogue declared which made the two sit straight up.
"What no why?!Let me see that?!"yang said as her and mercury looked at rogue scroll. It seems they managed to deplete both their aura reached the red. They weren't exactly close to each others percentage but it was a tie.
"You both tied….so congrats you both win"rogue declared smuggly.
"Seriously are you kidding me….this is embarrassing"mercury added as he rubbed his jaw it hurt like hell
"Hmm well maybe next time we do this we can use our weapons"yang added in confidence with mercury nodding her that he would be down for that.
Rogue chuckled"hey lets take a break. I'm sure they'll be back soon enough from their little trip"rogue said as they all walked back inside the house with zwei following them.
About an hour later the jeep pulled up as everyone piled out. Qrow then pulled the jeep up to the house as he threw a tarp over the car. Just incase anyone tried to steal their supplies and they walked in.
"Were back"ruby declared as the four walked inside to see the others their.
"Hey welcome back"mercury greeted as he was petting zwei was was laying on his lap asleep. But soon he woke up looking at his owner before barking and jumping down running toward ruby. He went around in a circle around her as she laughed.
"Missed you too Zwei"Ruby said petting the small corgi.
"So you guys get the stuff we needed?"rogue aksed while she was polishing her new shield.
"Yeah though were bringing another allie that can help us"jaune replied as they wondered who they were talking about.
"Who are you talking about?"yang questioned curisouly.
Beofre they told them a knock at the door could be heard and they stared at it.
"Its open"ruby called out as the door soon opened. Then in stepped bashira who had a pack at the ready along with her singiutre long sword dubbed fury.
"Wait bashira?"yang said looking at her friend.
"Sup yang seems you have a nice little party here"bashria replied
Mercury narrowed his gaze"how can we know to trust her"mercury stated with concern.
"Lets just say I know about Cinder secret"bashira replied knwoignly as mercury looked at her wide eyed. Then he looked at emerald who nodded to him that she was alright.
"So you know about her being the fall maiden"mercury replied
"Yes and i'm sorry my team and I didn't help protect her. "Bashria added
Rogue looked at her a little confused"what do you mean by that?"rogue asked
They all started to sit down as bashira sighed ready to tell them. She trusted yang and ruby for years. Though their uncle may be in the know about ozpins plans as other she wasn't so trusting off but she decided to tell them bits of it.
"Alright Ozpin tasked me and my team to help protect the maidens. But seeing that hes gone now along with Cinder. We need to watch out for the other maidens and protect them at all cost"bashira added
"That the plan we had from the beginning pretty much"jaune added as bashria raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean by that?"bashira asked
"Were planning on heading to Haven to investigate the attack on Beacon and Vale"yang answered
"Along with that probably stopping the people who did it before. "Rogue added as she stared at the initials on her shield.
Qrow stretched a little"also we know where spring is right now what about the winter maiden you find her?"qrow asked
Bashira shook her head"no that miyuki girl seemed to disappear off the face of remnant"bashria replied as rogue ears perked up. Was she talking about miyuki pearson front heir expedition her team went on with port.
"Wait you mean that girl that was with piper on our expedition?"rogue asked with bashria looking at her.
"Oh right I forgot about that, yeah miyuki pearson is our winter maiden."bashria stated as the room got a little quiet.
"Thats great who the other maidens are, which mean we got a step up on that witch"jaune added
Bashira raised an eyebrow at him"so i guess you know about that witch salem"bashira said as mercury and emerald shivered a little. Along with qrow tightening his grip on his chair.
"Yeah we did…that gonna be a problem?"qrow asked looking at the leader of BBNT.
She shook her head before looking at ruby"though that means we gotta protect you as well"bashria said pointing at ruby who was confused.
"What are you talking about?"ruby asked a little looked at qrow who was hestiaitng a bit before he nodded to her. If they needed to tell her about those eyes of her might as well be now.
"You remember how my teammate bombay had silver eyes right"bashria asked
"Okay so what its just an eye color"Jaune replied not really understand what she was implying.
"They aren't just some eyes kid…kiddio why do you think you have them?"qrow asked which Ruby was taken aback.
"Because I inherited them from mom…why?"ruby asked back as Rogue crossed her arms.
"Your talking about the silver eyed warriors aren't you?"rogue asked which shocked bashira and qrow.
"How do you know about them?"bashira asked before a familiar flame spirit emerged from a gauntlet.
"Because I told them kid"ember said surprising bashria who jumped back in her seat hugging it for dear life.
"Seriosuly Ember quit scaring everyone"rogue said to the fire spirit who laughed.
"No chance kid its too much fun..though i'm guessing this one here is one of those warriors it seems"ember said pointing her hand toward ruby.
"Yeah, and the story goes that they were able to slay grimm with a flash of their eyes"bashira said which made ruby go wide eyed.
"Wait that bright flash…thats what it was?"ruby asked with qrow nodding.
"Yeah kiddio you used your powers when you saw your friend…die"qrow replied sadly.
"Along with that they make you a target"bashira added with qrow tightening his grip even more.
"What do you mean by a target?"jaune asked concerned.
"Kid grimm fear them along with their master. But another thing is the darker side of those silver eyes as well. "Ember replied
"What type of darker side"ruby asked worried what she was implying exactly.
"If someone with silver eyes are subjected to feeling of anger…they will destory anything or anyone that is in their way. Weather their friend of foe"qrow replied as ruby went wide eyed at this.
"That won't happen to me…will it?"ruby asked almost nerovusly.
"You don't know your mom…had felt the other half of the silver eyes and it scared her"qrow siad
"Why are you telling us this?"rogue questioned.
"Because Ruby needs to keep her emotions in check. Especially on how emotionally she can get"bashira replied
"I…understand"ruby said though she was still rather unsure.
"Along with that that witch may send people after you. Bombay hide her eyes because her entire family was killed by Conri. The Beowolf knight."bashria added
Rogue went wided eyed at that"wait so your saying those grimm knight might have been made to hunt people with silver eyes down?"Rogue asked as they all went wided eyed.
"No that just one of their task, they serve their queen will no matter the order given. "Bashira replied
"Your wrong about that because that doens't make sense"jaune added to bashria confusion.
"Wait are you talking about your friend who was that other grimm kn–"bashira tried to finsih before rogue slammed the table. This got everyone to look at her and she seemed anger by the suggestion of that.
"He wasn't one of those stupid knights, he was my partner"rogue growled looking at her with anger in her eyes.
Bashira went wide eyed as she put her hands up toward the blonde"alright…alright…but how would you know he wasn't playing you?"bashira asked
Yang scratched the back of her head"ehh because he was locked up in atlas for like seven years."yang replied
"Yeah and keep his name out of your dam mouth"Rogue threatened pointing a finger at bashira who slowly nodded yes. But this made a small thought cross rogue mind slightly.
After a bit of silence between them bashira sighed deciding to continue their discussion about their plan to reach haven.
Bashira cupped her chin"okay ,besides that they seem to be infused with the DNA or something or different types of grimm. But we need to protect ruby and the maidens. "Bashira added with worrie
"Alright well our plan is too meet our other friends then begin the journey to Haven tomorrow"Ruby added
"Ok then what after that?"bashira asked while she scratched her head.
"Were going to split up we'll decide that tomorrow. For now get some rest before we leave tomorrow morning. Also pack up whatever you need"qrow said as the other agreed.
The day wears down into night as soon everyone in the house was currently and wondered what tomorrow will bring when they meet up with their friends they begin a journey that may lead to more trouble.
Meanwhile inside Salem castle the queen of grimm watches stoicly as her pupil was currently in the middle of her training. Bonnie slashed, ripped and torn he way through grimm that her mistresses sent her way defeating the likes of beowlolf to even golaiths with near ease. Bonnie used her maiden power to burn away her final target as it turned to nothing but dust. While Scar,Adder and Rosmeary watched their leaders progress.
Bonnie breathed slightly from the exhaustion btu she was still standing as she wore her normal attire expect her left eye now had a cloth wrapped around her head covering the scar Ruby caused.
Salem applauded her as she turned to face her queen.
"Well done. Your progressing faster thant i've anticipated. Truly an impressive feat"salem replied
Bonnie only bended her knee to her queen"i'm glad you find my progress satisfactory my queen. I promise i will be ready when the time comes to attack haven and take the relic."boonie said
"Like how you tried to take the one from beacon"salem said her voice sounding slightly foreboding.
For Bonnie she froze on the spot not even looking at salem as if afraid to do so.
"My swiftest apologies my queen as I had the no means to obtain it. If their is a punisihment you would like to give me then i'll gladly accept it"bonnie said
She could hear her footsteps coming even closer to her but she remained still unflinichging as the moment she could see her queens heels.
"While you had failed to rtrieve to the relic from Beacon you didn't have the correct power in order to do so. The one hidden behind Beacon vault requires the power of the Summer maiden along with the a key for each of them. But you did kill Ozpin, brought Beacon tower down, and took the Fall maidens power."Salem stated as she placed a hand on top of her servants head.
"The death of ozpin however will be more of a problem. He'll no doubt reicarnate into another person. That could bring us trouble since we do not know who he'll reincarnate. Plus their are more issues to address"salem replied before removing her hand from her servants head.
Bonnie quickly rose to her feet"and what is that my queen"she asked
"The location of the one that gave you that scar and Adders failure to retrieve one of my grimms bodies"salem said bonnie could only growl in disgust while Adder looked down.
"Forgive me my queen I made top priority to protect our fall maiden. "Adder said quickly as he kneeled.
"Don't worry boy i've already handled your and my sons mistake"Arthur said as he walked in as he kneeled before salem. Scar gripped his metal fist tight.
"How so father?"Scar asked his father who looked at him with a small smirk.
"I'm glad you asked. Subject Zeta and Tau step forward"arthur said as two cloaked figures stepped into the room as they bowed before their was a female while the other was a male.
"What do you ask of us"they both said in unison.
Salem turned to the two as she studied them."Kiyo your too head to menagerie to assist Hazel with checking on progress."salem ordered as Kiyo nodded then stood up bowing before leaving."
"Diego Watts has a certain assignment for you"salem added as she looked toward watts who nodded.
Then he walked over to diego as the grimm knight looked up at his creator"Subject Zeta your to head to Vale."watts ordered
"May I ask what you want me too do?"diego asked
"Your too hunt down and cause chaos amongst the huntsman and huntresses their. Along with finding the bodie of omega. The brat may have been a traditor but we could simply revive him and use him."watts ordered as diego nodded before he walked off.
"Do not worry my queen i'll get my revenge against that brat I'll put a stake in her heart. And watch her scream before she destory her vocal cords as she slowly died."bonnie growled menacingly as rosemary laughed.
"No. that is something you must avoid. If you anger the child than you'll more likely be killed in the process."salem stated firmly.
That when Rosemary spoke"paradon me my mistresses but why should we avoid her? Shes just a little brat. "Rosemary said
"A child with silver eyes. Those eyes work on of two ways. A feeling of goodness and the will to protect others their light can erase grimm. However if you anger them….they wil show no mercy to anyone or anything around them weather they be friend or foe"salem warned.
"What exactly do you want of us my queen?"bonnie asked
"For now i've sent Tyrian after the girl, hes tasked to bring her alive. Though I want one of you to meet hazel when he returns from menagerie along with our allies. "Salem stated looking at the three.
"I'll go my queen"Adder volunteered for the assignment as Salem nodded.
"I want the rest of you to go to the upper part of mistral and meet up with an acquaintance of ours. Professor Lionheart. He'll understand when you three arrive along with the thing he cares deeply about is on the line"salem ordered
"It shall be done my queen"bonnie said as salem put a hand on her cheek motherly like as bonnie gripped it slightly.
"I know it will"she said before letting go as the four went off to do their task. They walked out of the castle having a destination in mind as salem watched from behind the scenes.
In another part of Mistral on a small farm a young boy was finishg up his chores for the day after a long day preparing for the winter season in mistral as he stacked a hay bale to the sides for the horses to feed.
The boy seemed to be around fifteen years old even though he is pretty short for his age with tan skin along with freckles on his cheek. He has short dakr brown with hazel colored eyes. He is currently wearing a white shirt that has been dirtied and scuffed from working in the fields. He wears olive colored pants with orange suspender that are around his shoulder as his pants are tucked into worn brown boots. He is also wearing dark green working gloves.
He gave a sigh wiping the sweat from his forehead nodding at the job well done.
"Oscar! Dinners on!"an older female voice called out from the house.
"Coming!"oscar replied as he began to head out the barn making sure the animals were all asleep.
He removed his gloves and sat them down by an old sink that was used in the barn before turing the knob for warm water to wash his hands and face. However as he was doing this he suddenly felt a tug in the back of his mind that felt something like a headache coming on.
"You've been working in fields to long oscar"he told himself.
"Yes that I would have to agree on young man"a voice in his head stated.
"Yeah it–"oscar suddenty paused as he somehow suddenly heard something ins his head talk.
"Hello. My name is professor Orzpin"the voice introduced as oscar shotued in surprise and shock
"What going on? Have I finally lost my mind?"he asked himself.
"I assure you oscar your not going insane"ozpin stated calmly.
"Okay then….wait a minute I heard about your. You died during the attack in Beaco. How are you alive?"oscar asked
"While my body did die my soul did not unfortunatyl"ozpin said
"What do you mean by that?"oscar asked
"Its a long explantation but its best I save it for a later time. I know you are very confused right now and not sure what to think but I promise you'll i'll explain everything to you."ozpin stated
He was right oscar was rather confused and not sure what to think about having a voice of a headmaster in his head but he put it off for now and headed inside the house for dinner so that his aunt doesn't come looking for him.
Inside the old ranch home oscar and his aunt ate their dinner though he couldn't help but think about ozpin hanging out in his head.
"Are you alright dear?"his aunt sked
"Huh? Oh um…yeah just a little tired from work today. I'll shower and then head straight for bed"oscar said as he cleaned his plate and put it in the sink.
After showering he headed straight to bed as he sat at the edge of his bed swapping his work clothing for a simple light green pajama combo.
"Ok you owe me an explantation"oscar said crossing his arms.
"Very well. You see you've been chosen for a task to help me get rid of an evil that has plague our world for years"ozpin said
"What do you mean by that?"oscar asked
"A women who is the master of all grimm, she controls them like their her pets. Along with that I have been arround for many, many years. "Ozpin replied
"But that impossible no one can control grimm"oscar said baffled.
"Its true. Right now you see i've reincarnated several times over the years and with one task. To kill Salem or I continue this cycle of hosts. I've..ruined several lives"ozpin stated sadly.
"But this all sounds rather intimidating. Though why do I have to do this I never aksed for this?"he replied
"I'm afraid as my new host this task falls upon you as well…but over times our souls will merge …I'll take over your bodie permnantly.I'm sorry"ozpin sadly said
Oscar was rather puzzled that now he was saying that his soul could no longer exist but he didn't know how long the process might take.
"Oscar.I know that what i'm asking you is a tough decision but I need your help. Weather you like this or not your now involved just as much as i am. You are probably frightened by the information i've given you and I understand but I can't simply do this without you. Will you help me stop this evil known as salem"ozpin asked
Oscar thought long and hard for a moment even though this was just dropped on him just today hes always wanted to do something more for this world than just be a farmboy maybe become a huntsman. But he thought about his aunt she took him in when he needed a home. Although he was sure she'll be fine right now because they have neighrbors that check on her.
So with a cautious breath he spoke to give an answer"alright…i'll help you but I need to know everything."oscar finally said.
"You have my many thanks Oscar."ozpin said as oscar went over to his small desk and grabbed a sheet of paper and began to write a letter to his mother. After writing an extensive letter he put it in an envelope to make sure that she got it.
"Though what do we do?"he asked
"We go to mistral to find our allies and a young girl by the name of Ruby Rose. She'll not be hard to miss. She has silver eyes. Along with that allies who i've trusted that will protect you"ozpin said
Oscar laid down on his bed as he waited for tomorrow to come.
Morning came to the patch as it was early in the morning but everyone was already up. They all were packed and ready for their trip their about to take. Yang grabbed her bike from the garage as they were pakcing up the jeep.
Though Ruby and Yang decided to change out of their usual attire for something new.
Ruby now wears a white high neck decolletage blouse with brown studded wristbands on the arms. It retain her black skirt with red tulle underneath. But the waist cincher has been replaced with an overbust corset with a red strip holding it in place. A black belted bordered in red holds the magnetic clip for crescent and her ammo. She also has some brown straps on her blouse that allows her to wear a small brown backpack.
Along with wearing a pair of thigh high stocking reaching to a few inches below the hem of her skirt, decorated by an image of a long stemmed rose. Her red soled black boots contain four straps and buckles apiece.
Her black has a singular clip on her right shoulder in the chape of her emblem. But her cloak are been torn a little from hard wear.
Though yang wears something that fits her personality it seems. She wears a tan jacket with orange lining and gold edging, unzipped halfway to show an orange crop top. The coat has a darker brown short sleeves, a thick collar that completely encircles her neck and two long gold trimmed rectangular also wears a fitted pair of black pants.
Around her hips and over the tail coat is a brown belt which has two pieces of dark brown materia trimmed in gold attached to it. The first covers from her left hip to the back of the belt and is folded over the belt, and the second is attached from the right hip and almost around to the other piece of material. She also wear knee high brown boots with gold cap on the heel and toe, with the heel cap attaching to a gold strap across the front of her ankle, and a gold zipper on the upper half of the front of the boots. A single small buckled strap is on the upper outside of her boots, and a purple banadane tied around her left knee. A pair of black fingerless glvoes with long brown cuffs reaching to the mide forearm. Though shes wering a pair of yellow rimmed aviator sunglasses right now.
But around her neck barely being seen was a black ribbion.
"Okay though how will this work the truck has like five spots at max. And yang bike can only carrie one other person. How are we going to go this?"ruby said with some of them nodding in agreement.
"Hmm well we do have a small trailer in the garage. But that only can fit one other person"yang said as she was attaching said trailer to her bike. She lifted up a small hook as she attached it to the back of the bike.
"That is a problem hmm here i'll ride in the trailer"emerald volunteered as she hoped in the she leaned back with her arms behind her head.
Yang nodded to her turning toward the group"Ok uhh any other takers?"yang asked looking at them.
Bashira was standing their as she noticed rogue glaring at her. Maybe that comment about her friend being a spy ticked the girl off. Along with that maybe catching up with yang might be a great idea.
The girl nerovusly smiled"I'll go with you yang"bashira volunteered as she slinked over to yang bike.
Qrow had a bag on his shoulder as he stepped out of the house. Along with jaune carrying a couple duffle bags under his one arm and another on his shoulder. Qrow tossed the bag into the back of the jeep as it landed with a small thud. Then Jaune tossed the two in after that.
"Alright that all of it so you said those two should be at the village by now?"qrow asked
"Yeah, don't worry ren and nora won't be hard to miss"jaune replied in confidence.
Thought Mercury had a smirk"Espeically nora seriously that girl is like a living battery"mercury added
Jaune chuckled shaking his head"that's just how nora is….though it'll be nice to see them been a while since i've seen them"jaune added
Tai looked at the group worried as the stood in front of the house"alright you all be careful out their. Look out for each other and more importantly don't die out their"tai warned.
"Don't worry dad we'll be careful"ruby said as she grabbed her stuff placing in the back of qrow jeep. Qrow and tai exhcnaged glances as qrow sighed looking down with tai closing his eyes.
"Okay so once we get to the ferry, where to next?"rogue asked as she hopped into the jeep by opening the door and taking a other did the same thing as jaune got in the front with qrow. While Mercury sat on the right side with rogue in the middle. Ruby sat near the left side where jaune seat was behind him.
"We head to higanbana then we head west from their to a small short cut I know through a village"qrow stated
This peeked some of their interest"Really what village?"emerald asked while she got comfy in the trailer.
"Kuroyuri, nice little town in the anima"qrow replied as jaune eyes bulged out of his head.
"Thats Ren and Nora old town. Their not going to like this"jaune thought
"Wait i've never heard of that town"rogue said because she doesn't recall a village like that in the anima.
"Yeah same here is it new or something uncle?"yang added on
"Well a while back it got destoryed by some nasty grimm. Though me and Raven sent a small part of the tribe to help rebuild it a few years ago. Wonder how their doing right now"qrow replied as everyone loaded into the jeep.
"Anything we need to worry about other than grimm?"mercury asked
"Other than grimm not much else we need to worry about on Sanus though once we get to mistral. We'll be splitting up to deal with two problems. We might not have much to worry about their."qrow said firmly.
"Yeah because there are small patrols of the tribe out their right?"yang asked with qrow nodding.
Yep though let get this show on the road"qrow said as his engine roared to life alongside yang bike. Qrow smiled toward tai giving him one last look of confidence.
"Don't worry Tai. i'll keep them safe"he said as they sped off toward the docks.
"Then whos going to look out for you"he said with some worry in his voice. He knows that they are in good bands but that didn't make him worry any less.
It was a quick ride to the ferry and after theat they loaded up their vehicles as the group headed toward the vale port. An hour later they arrived at the port and unloaded their vehicles as they proceed through the small town.
They began to look for their other two friends wondering where they could be. He told those two too come here maybe a day or two early and watch out for any approaching ferries. He tried calling their scrolls but their was no answer.
"Dang it guys were are you?"jaune asked as he looked around for the two. They weren't hard to find since both wore pink. The one thing you don't wear in a dense forest or area because it gives you away immediately. Though bashira didn't seem to mind with her attire.
"Huh I don't know they keep ignoring our calls. Maybe nora busted both their scrols"rogue suggested because it could be the case.
Ruby groaned"seriosuly, what if their not here it'll suck to leave without them. "ruby added as she hung her head.
But as they were looking for the remainder of jaune team yang could feel an all too familiar presnance fast approaching. She got ready for the attacker as she soon enough someone was screaming to them.
"Ahhhhh its you guys!"a female but familiar voice screamed as yang turned around and lifting someone in the air. She first grabbed their wrist as she lifted her over her shoulder then threw her down.
Everyone was a little shocked at what happen as they all stared down to see a familiar orange hair girl their. Dust was kicked up as nora looked like she was seeing girl groaned a little before looking up smiling.
All of them were a little surrpsied to see her"Nora?!"they all said in unison as the girl popped back up like it was nothing.
Though nora was in a completely new outift it seems. Along with her hair becoming shoulder length judging by how its style. She had pink eye shadow around the far upper corner of her eyes. Though she retains her gloves and wears a white sleeveless turtleneck top that seems similar to her old one. Though the heart cut out for it now has a diagonal cut through it.
But she also wears a shorter, detached white sleve on her left arm. Over the shirt, she wears a open cropped, short sleeved navy blue bomber jakcet with a dmaged print of her emblem visbale on the back and their are pink stripes alongside pink knuckles cuffs and red lining on the collar. She also wears a pleated pink skirt with two wide belt loops for matching belt, the skirt has a white layered tulle. She wears nee high pink socks just visible above her white flag length boots with pink laces and black low heels, soles and toes.
Then she squealed before getting jaune,Ruby and Rogue in a group three were a little surprised as she pulled them in tight.
"I've missed you guys so much!"nora exclaimed as she practically squeezed the three.
"Great….to see…you too…nora"ruby said between breaths since she was being hug to death again.
"I can't…breath…make it stop"rogue added as her eyes buldged a little
Jaune was on the verge of pasing out from nora bear hug. Though a familiar mellow boyfriend of her calmed her placed a hand on nora head to tell her to stop.
"Nora kindly let our friend go"ren stated as she looked at him.
"Sure thing renny"Nora replied as she let them go. Ruby caught her breath and so did rogue. But jaune just fell to the ground panting. Ren lifted his hand off nora head.
"Ughhh my back"rogue complained as she cracked her back loudly.
"Seriously nora…you could make a living as a chiropractor"jaune added as he got up dusting himself off.
"Oh you really think so. Ren we should make that a business in the future"nora exictldy said as Ren joined the group.
He looked at everyone giving a small smile before he spoke"its nice to see you all again"he simply said
Jaune looked happy to see him as he walked over to ren. They exchanged looks as jaune opened up his arms for a hug. Which ren eagerly accepted as the two exchanged the gesture.
Jaune closed his eyes smiling"Its great to see you too"jaune replied as Ren nodded.
"You too Jaune"Ren said as he undid himself from the embrace as they looked at Ren because he looked different.
Though Ren seems to have updated his attire and look. His hair seemed to have grown longer about to his lower shoulders. Along with that he now wore a longer, sleeveless tialcoat with black and silver trimming. Underneath it he wears a black, sleeveless turtleneck with red, tasseled ropes over the hips, pants that get tiger below the knees and calf high open toed sandals. From his middle finger to his biceps run gradient pink to black deatched sleeves ending in metal armbands.
Yang looked at all of them shaking her head"Man how long has it been since we've all been together"yang stated
"About a few weeks now"Ren simply answered as nora groaned from thas question.
"It feel like it been too long, I felt like I was gonna die of old age"nora exclaiemd throwing her hands up a she dropped them to her side.
Mercury chuckled at orange haired girl"still acting like good old nora"mercury said as emerald nodded her head in agreement.
Though Ruby looked down a little because not all of them are here"Umm not everyone is with us"ruby added as they all looked a little down.
Rogue looked down before glacinging at her shield on her forearm. She then began to unstrape the shield as she pressed a button extending it. Nora and Ren looked at the shield because from what they recalled that was pyrrha shield.
Rogue looked at the two flipping it over to them"don't worrie their watching our backs now on our little joruney"rogue said showing the two the initials on the shield of their friends they lost. Ren looked at them smiling a little with Nora soften her gaze looking down.
"Despite that…well fill you two in on the way to the docks. "Qrow added as the group stacked up into the keep and bike. Ren and Nora had to sit in the far back of the jeep. They managed make room for them as they continued their way to the ferry to take them to Higanbana.
Seems everyone is back together it seems with nora and ren joining the group on their journey. With most of them updating their attire along with salem planning her next part of her conquest. Their also ozpin with his new host in this endless shadow war. Thanks for reading!
