Attack of the Zenny Pirates!
Goat Island
After the Marines and the Straw Hats notices Zenny and the island goats were sliding down at the mountain with the ship while breaking the trees, the moneylender laughed with a smile on his face, but was hit in the head by the tree branch. But as soon as Zenny and the island goats were out the forest, the ship then slides down into the beach, causing Usopp and Ventus to quickly move out of the way. The ship suddenly sild towards the sea next to the Marine ship, much to Minchey in disbelief.
"Is that...?!"
"Way to go, goat man!" Luffy cheered.
"Hey, don't encourage him like that." Sanji told him.
"His heart hasn't stopped, has it?" Zoro asks when Chopper gasps.
"Don't make jokes like that!" Nami berates him with worry.
"I don't think he's joking." Ventus muttered with a sweat drop.
"Old timer!" Chopper called out with a shout, turns to Zenny. "Are you okay?!"
Zenny wasn't listening because he's too busy looking at the ship with his jaw dropped and his eyes widen, felt awe that he was actually at the sea. He then turns around, and noticed the Straw Hats at the shore.
"I'm actually at sea!" Zenny exclaimed excitedly. "I've done it! I've become a pirate! Alright, no longer is this my coffin! It's the pirate ship, Zenny, scourge of the sea! Right you guys?!"
The island goats replied with a bleat.
"Yay, old goat man!" Luffy cheered.
"WE TOLD YOU! DON'T ENCOURAGE HIM!?" Zoro, Sanji, Ventus, and Nami yelled at the rubber captain in annoyance.
"He's a sick man!" Chopper adds.
"Well, if it isn't Zenny, the moneylender." Minchey said with a smirk, earned his attention. "Even with that ship, you're nothing but a bloodsucking petty extortionist!"
"Well, not anymore I'm not! You're talking to Zenny, the pirate, boy!" Zenny retorted with a smirk, laughing.
"And you're talking to the Marines, geezer!" Minchey shouts with a growl, annoyed.
"Be careful, old man! He's after your treasure!" Usopp warns him with a shout.
"Oh? Lately, the Marines are started going after treasure on this side instead of just doing their duty hunting pirates as ordered!" Zenny states when Minchey grunts in annoyance. "I'd have to say, that's very industrious of you!"
The Straw Hats knew that Zenny won't be able to fight against the Marines in his condition because of the weak heart of his. Zoro turns to Nami.
"Nami, bring the ship around." Zoro suggests with an order.
"I'm on it! Come on!" Nami complies when she, Usopp, Chopper, and Sanji make their way toward the Going Merry.
"Dammit! You don't get to give my sweet Nami orders!" Sanji growled.
The wounded Marine noticed that Nami, Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper were heading towards the pirate ship as he turns to Minchey.
"Sergent Minchey! The Straw Hats are up to something! Call Captain Moore for backup..."
"SHUT UP!?" Minchey yelled, fired his rifle when it got the Straw Hats attention, noticed that he only shot at the ground which made the Marine flinched. "I told you you'll get your cut of the treasure, didn't I? Keep your mouth shut! We can't let the Captain know what's going on!"
Ventus knows that Minchey is hiding his true intentions from Moore for his own greed. Luffy turns to the Marine ship with a serious look on his face while Zenny used his abacus, calculating.
"Hmm, let's see now...yes...I figured you must be paying your men off, so you can take on this side project." Zenny said, putting two and two together as he looks at Minchey with a smirk on his face. "That must cost you a pretty penny, eh, Sergent?"
"Why you smelly old coot?!" Minchey growled. "You're gonna pay for this if I..."
"SHUT YOUR STINKING MOUTH!?" Zenny yelled, making Minchey flinched back a bit. "A worm like you has got a lot of nerve, thinking you can swipe my treasure! Come and take it from me, if you can!"
He then burst with a laugh, crossed his arms and stomp his foot against the wooden railing.
"You tell him, old goat man!" Luffy shouts with a big grin which it got Zenny's attention, but noticed his arms stretched out and grabbed the ship. "Let's show them how a pirate really fights!"
And with that, Luffy started pulling the ship to the left which it got Zenny wondering what that rubber captain is doing, but it got the old man realizing why he's pulling the ship away. Luffy then starts throwing the ship right towards the Marine ship, slamming the ships against each other and with the sheer force, both of the ships were pushed right against the huge rock.
"There!" Luffy said when his arms were back in its place.
"MORON!?" Sanji, Usopp, Chopper, and Nami yelled with white eyes and shark-like teeth while Ventus starts beating Luffy silly.
"Why'd you do that?" Zenny groaned when he and the island goats were stunned, dizzy with their swirling eyes.
"Dammit!" Minchey grunts as he stood up with a glare. "If you're a pirate, you won't mind if we do our duty and kill you?!"
"Does he have any weapons? Because I don't think he does." Zoro said which Luffy didn't thought about it since he just recklessly slam the ship against the Marine ship.
"So be it! Let's see what you're made of, Sunny Jim! Have you got what it takes to challenge my class abacus skills?!" Zenny shouts with a smirk, points his abacus at the Marines. "Take 'em down, men!"
And with that, the island goats started leaping over the Marine ship, charging after the Marines.
"Oh, he's got an abacus, and..." Zoro said, crossed his arms.
"...the goats." Luffy finished his sentence.
"Hm, may not be much, but at least those goats are doing the work." Ventus said, watching the island goats jump over the Marine ship to charge after the Marines.
"Oh no! Hold on, old man!?" Luffy yelled with panic, with shark-like teeth and budging eyes as he stretched his arms out, grabbing the Marine.
Luffy then launches himself towards the Marine ship, but the Marines fired the cannon as he dodges. Minchey cuts the rope and it causes Luffy to hit in the head against the ship, knocked out and fell into the sea.
"Luffy!" Zoro shouts in annoyance, about to go after Luffy.
"Hold up, Zoro." Ventus said, grabbed him with his tail. "I think we should let our crew take care of Luffy, they're already on the Going Merry."
"'Kay, but what are we supposed to do?" Zoro questions when Ventus sprouts his wings out.
"We're going to give the old badger a helping hand." Ventus answered with a smirk, pulling out his lance as he and Zoro takes flight.
While at the Marine ship, the island goats continued to leap over at the ship, ramming one of the Marines over.
"Are you guys blind or something? What are shooting at, I'm right here!" Zenny mocks as he was riding on the island goat. "I'll make it easy for you! Let's go!"
Soon as Zenny is at the Marine ship, he noticed the Marines are having trouble fighting back against the goats. The Marine was about to go after that baby goat, but the adult goats were protecting the baby goat, making him back away.
"What's the matter with you, wimps?! They're goats! You're fighting against goats!" Minchey yelled in annoyance.
"I can't help it, they're too cute. Sorry."
"Hey, Serge! The battles down here and not up there!" Zenny shouts, earned his attention. "Why don't you get your hands dirty?!"
The island goats were trampling the Marines over while Zenny chuckled with a smirk, making Minchey growled. Zoro then lands on the Marine ship with his blades while Ventus landed next to him, readied his lance.
After Nami, Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper were on the Going Merry while Luffy is still struggling to swim, the reindeer noticed that Zoro and Ventus were on the ship.
"Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!..."
"We know, just take it easy." Sanji assures him when he grabs Chopper and puts him down to the deck.
"Yeah, relax, Chopper." Usopp adds. "And besides, Ventus and Zoro are here. There's no need to worry about it, but it's Luffy we've gotta worry though."
"I can't! The old timer is in no kind of shape to be doing anything so crazy!" Chopper protests.
"We know, but Ventus and moss-head is with the old timer. Besides, they'll just stop the old coot for doing something stupid." Sanji told him.
While at the ship, both Zoro and Ventus were able to take down the number of Marines while the island goats continued to trample them over, but one of the Marines fires with his rifle, making the goats stop.
"Shoot them!" Minchey ordered.
"Piercing Talon" Ventus throws his lance at the Marine, impaled him in the shoulder and making him scream in pain, but fired his rifle at the deck again.
The island goats began to bleat with panic as they started running towards the cabin.
"You've done it now! My boys are out of control!" Zenny said with a laugh.
The island goats then rams the door as they ran inside of the lower deck, destroying the furniture.
"Go get 'em men!" Zenny shouts with a laugh.
"Geez, for a grumpy old coot, he sure has guts." Ventus muttered in annoyance, pulling his lance out of the Marines shoulder. "Still, he could've at least let us handle it."
"I don't think that's going to stop him." Zoro states while Minchey can only watch, gritting his teeth since his plan didn't go his way.
While the Straw Hats are sailing towards the Marine ship, Usopp was looking through the binoculars from the crows nest, noticing that the Marines are still in formation and not moving an inch.
"Look! They're just waiting for us in formation!" Usopp informed his crew.
"It's weird how they showed no signs of advancing." Nami states, looking at the Marine ships. "We've gotta come up with a battle plan while we still can."
"Okay, so what should we do? Be the ones to attack them first?" Sanji questions.
"Are you out of your mind?!" Nami shouts.
"It doesn't matter!" Chopper protests. "The first thing we gotta do is help the old man!"
"Yeah, but shouldn't we help Luffy first?" Usopp inquires as they continued to sail towards the ship.
While at the Marine ship, Captain Moore is still haven't been informed of Minchey's whereabouts, but his fellow Marines are informing him.
"Captain Moore, there's no respond from Sergent Minchey's ship."
"What about that gunfire we've heard?!"
"Should we advance?"
"No, not yet, wait for Minchey to report in." Moore informed them.
While at Minchey's ship, Zenny was confused, wondering where the Marines and the island goats have gone. Ventus and Zoro made a quick work out of the Marines since they didn't have any problems with them.
"Where did everybody go?" Zenny asks with his eyebrow raised.
Then, the gunshot was heard when the island goats ran out of the lower deck in fright which it got Zenny to move out of the way. The Marine ran upstairs with a rifle on his hands, aiming at the island goats.
"That's enough outta you!?"
The Marines then fired his rifle to scare off the island goats as he kept firing his weapon, but Zenny won't have it.
"And that's enough of that!" Zenny shouts, using his abacus as a skateboard as he knocks the Marine out. "Alright!"
Suddenly, Zenny felt his heart is grown weak and felt a pulse, began to grew weaken as he slowly left the cabin. Minchey the noticed that Zenny weakly lean against the wooden railing with a heavy pant while placing his hand against his chest, which it got the Marine smirked. Ventus noticed that Minchey is slowly approaching Zenny.
"Well, where's all that energy you had a minute ago, pirate Zenny?" Minchey questions with a taunt. "Are you out of breath?"
"My, my...so you finally dared show yourself?" Zenny weakly retorted with a smirk.
"You know something, old man, you talk too much!" Minchey sneered, about to kick him.
"Piercing Talon" Ventus threw his lance, impaled Minchey in the shoulder as he crashed against the wall with a scream in pain.
"And you let your guard down, Marine." Ventus said with a growl, slowly approaching him. "Zenny, let me handle him. His greed is no better than dragons."
Zenny then responded with a nod, because he needs time to recover.
While at the Captain's ship, Moore was furious when his fellow Marines informed him of Minchey's treachery.
"What's that, Corporal?!" Moore demands, communicating through the Transponder Snail. "And why didn't you report this to me sooner?!"
"Um...I'm very sorry, Captain Moore, but I..."
Captain Moore have heard enough as he ended the transmission.
"That's what he was up to! That miserable Minchey, I'll kill him!?" Moore growled.
At Minchey's ship, Ventus pulled out of the lance, but it got him noticed of the emblem that has a symbol of the Garlean Empire. It got Ventus enraged as he grabs Minchey in the throat, slamming him down against the deck.
"You've been working with the Garlean Empire all along! You kept your rank as a Marine for a cover-up and going after the old man's treasure!" Ventus snarled with pure rage. "Why?! Why are you working with them?!"
It got Zoro and Zenny's attention when Ventus mentioned the name of the kingdom, but the swordsman looked down and saw the emblem at the deck. Zoro then looked at the Marine with a scowl on his face.
"Answer my question!?" Ventus snarled angrily.
"If I were you, I'd do what he says." Zoro warned him, showing the emblem to Minchey. "Was looking for a treasure part of the reason why you're working with the Garlean Empire?"
"No! The reason I became part of the Marine is because the Garlean Empire wanted me to be a double agent and a saboteur! Of course, I accept their offer and I'm part of Judge Gabranth's agents!" Minchey grunts, admits. "The Marines are trying to find out about the Garlean Empire and their locations, but I prevent it from happening and I'm not the only agent who worked with them."
"Who else worked with the Garlean Empire?" Ventus questions.
"I'm sure you're familiar with a certain rat-faced Marine named Nezumi." Minchey told them.
Both Ventus and Zoro widen their eyes, never knew that Nezumi was also working for the Garlean Empire ever since the encounter back at Cocoyasi Island.
"But as for Zenny's treasure, that was for my own gain." Minchey continued with a smirk. "If I ever get a chance to find his treasure, I'll be in for a promotion and take all of the credit of capturing you and your crew."
"Then, you should've thought about our abilities before you try face against us." Ventus told him as he punched him in the jaw, knocking out. "Damn! All this time, we were facing against the double agent and the Marines didn't know it!"
"Calm down, all that matters is we stop him." Zoro told him, then turns to Zenny. "And for saving the old man."
Then, the Straw Hats were able to land next to the ship.
"Old man!" Chopper shouts.
"We're up here!" Ventus told them when he, Zoro, and Zenny revealed themselves. "But we got information to share for you guys."
Soon as the Straw Hats were on the Marine ship, Chopper is working on Zenny, Sanji managed to get a hold of Luffy and dragging him up to the ship while Ventus and Zoro give them an explanation about Minchey, who happens to be a double agent of the Garlean Empire for sabotaging the Marines information. Though, Minchey isn't alone because Nezumi was also working with the Garlean Empire.
"I see, so the Marine is really an agent who works for the Garlean Empire." Nami said, sickened of Minchey's true intentions. "That explains it."
"And not only that, but Nezumi was also working for the Garlean Empire." Ventus replied. "As far as I know, I don't think the Marines knew this would happen since the Garlean Empire have manipulated the people for their own gain, and Ardyn might have something in store for them."
"To be honest, neither of us knew this would happen." Robin said with a ponder. "And if I remember correctly, Crocodile also worked with the Garlean Empire as their agent. His goal was to learn about the Pluton and pass the information to the kingdom so they'll use it for the invasion, but only as a last resort."
"Since he didn't get the information, guess the plan for using it went down the drain." Usopp states seriously. "That's one less thing to worry, but I don't think it'll stop them."
"No, and I don't think Ace and his crew is enough to help my homeland fight against them." Ventus agrees. "The Marines may or may not know about the invasion, but with everything we've learned, they'll be needing all the help for the evacuation and gathering the army."
"And what about you? Aren't you planning to head back to Ishgard?" Nami questions when she turns to the young Dragoon which it got his attention. "I mean, you did learn about how it was build and the dark secrets, should you..."
"Nami, we can't rush this." Zoro told her. "We don't even know how to get there. Even if Ventus can fly or we sail through the Calm Belt, we won't make it in time to fight against the Garlean Empire."
"As much as I hate to admit, but he's right." Sanji agrees, puffing the smoke out of his mouth. "We have the information about those guys, but we still need to find a way to get there."
"Having Ventus fly and sail through the Calm Belt is out of the question, we still need to figure out how to get there." Robin adds with a ponder.
Nami knows that Zoro, Sanji, and Robin were right about it, which they now know that the Garlean Empire are making their move by preventing them from knowing about the kingdom and the dark history. However, they still need to find out how to get to Ishgard.
"Your seizure has passed, so you should be feeling better now." Chopper informed him.
"Glad to hear it, Dr. Chopper." Zenny said.
"That's good." Luffy said with a chuckle, grinned. "Old man, how's tricks with you?"
"Just fine, thank you." Zenny answered as he and Luffy laughed which Nami remembered something.
"So then, listen old timer, you can tell us now." Nami said with a smile, turns to him. "Can't you? About your treasure?"
It got Zenny very annoyed since Nami just won't drop the subject as he turns away with his tongue sticking out and a deadpan look on his face.
"Can't you just drop it about some stupid treasure for once, Nami?!" Ventus shouts in annoyance, bonks her in the head very hard.
"Hey! Don't go hit Nami in the..."
"You stay out of it, Sanji!" Ventus growled menacingly with his dragonic tone, making Sanji flinched in fright.
"And don't give him any shocks to my patient!" Chopper scolds her, then turns to Zenny. "Hang in there, old man!"
"Ugh, for the love of...Alright!" Zenny groans reluctantly, sat up. "I guess you kids have helped me out. So, maybe it would be okay to tell you."
"That's more like it!" Nami said excitedly, pressed her hands together. "If the Marines know about it, it must be some treasure."
"I did...have a treasure. The pirates who indebted to me signed over a mountain of valuables to pay me off, but then...while I was making plans to buy a pirate ship and organize a crew, I exchanged it all for cash." Zenny explains which it got Minchey and Nami smiled with 'berries' in their eyes. "When I look back on it now, I realized that's where my fate took a turn."
It got Nami confused when Zenny continued his story.
"Remember when I told you I was attacked by pirates and I eventually drifted ashore into this god forsaken island?" Zenny inquired. "Well naturally, I managed to protect the cash. Let's face it, I risk my life for that money. I was going to use it to buy my lifelong dream...but when I came to after washing up on the beach..."
He then remembered of being beaten and battered by the pirates, being drifted ashore into the island while the island goats ate the money.
"HUH?!" Nami, Minchey, and Chopper shouts in shock.
"The goats ate your money?!" Nami exclaims.
"Really?!" Chopper adds.
"All of it?! They ate all of it?!" Minchey adds.
"Every last berry, well maybe they left two or three bills, but that's it." Zenny answered when one of goats bleated. "So, it's just like I told you, these guys are my treasure and not just metaphorically."
Then, one of the goats approached Zenny along with the other goats.
"All my fortune had been lost, but in return, I gained by friends." Zenny continued, rubbing the goats head. "They don't betray me or cheat me. I finally have friends at my side who don't do anything for selfish motives, they took care of me and in return, I take care of them. So, I think I got the greatest treasure in the world."
It got the Straw Hats, except Zoro, smiled.
"Good for you, goat men." Luffy said.
"Yeah, it's pretty good. I guess I can turn a profit in any situation." Zenny points out as they laughed.
"Oh gag me!" Minchey snarled in disgust. "Hey, Straw Hat! You pirates aren't in the clear yet!"
They then turned their attention to Minchey, who's been tied up in the rope by Nami.
"There's a fresh fleet waiting out there just waiting to take you on!" Minchey told them with a smirk. "Don't think you're gonna get away without a fight!?"
"I wouldn't be too sure if I were you." Ventus told him, grabs him as he lifted him up. "Because of your betrayal and following against orders, they'll like to hear about your excuses. And you won't weasel out it."
Minchey's face was pale as a sheet of paper, knowing that the young Dragoon won't let him get away because of his keen sense of smell and he'll hunt him down no matter if he'll run or hide.
At Moore's Marine ship, Minchey was fallen down into the ship with a hard thud and Ventus lands on the ship with a serious look on his face. Moore approaches, looked down at Minchey with a disappointed look on his face.
"You miserable disgrace! I'll see you suffer!" Moore growled, tear the epaulet and his rank. "And why are you here?"
"There's something else you should know about Minchey." Ventus told him, tossed the Garlean Empire emblem to him. "He's a double agent for the Garlean Empire. He's preventing any of you for learning about the kingdom and making sure it stays that way. However, finding the grumpy old moneygrubber is his own work."
"I see." Moore said. "I'll make sure he'll suffer and have him tell us about the Garlean Empire. Take him away!"
And with that, the Marines took Minchey to the prison cell. Moore then turns to Ventus.
"To tell you this, I have no interest in the man, known as Zenny the moneylender. My only goal in this matter is to bring you Straw Hats in." Moore informed the young Dragoon. "However, I feel I owe you a debt of honor for delivering up this disgraced member of my fleet. Thus, I'll let the Captain choose where we fight."
"I'm afraid I'll have to stop you right there, Captain Moore." Ventus interrupted. "Your men were wounded that I've inflicted a while ago, and with Minchey's betrayal and greed, it'll be best that you and your men get the information from him since he's been with the Garlean Empire the entire time."
Moore knows that Ventus made a valid point about his fellow men being wounded, Minchey's treason, and the Garlean Empire. With that, Moore ordered his men to tend their wounds while the Straw Hats was about to leave the island.
"Are you sure the Marines are gonna learn from Minchey?" Nami questions.
"With everything we've learned, my people are gonna be needing all the help they can get. It'll take more than Ishgard, Dravania, and Ace's pirate crew to fight against the Garlean Empire." Ventus told her. "With the addition of the Marines, it'll be enough forces to go against them."
"With those guys who have Devil Fruits, like Smoker, it'll be enough to face them." Zoro states. "But the problem is that we still need to find Atlivalios and with the Marines having someone secretly work with the Garlean Empire."
"Which means the Marines will be having bigger problems than us." Sanji finished his sentence, then turns to Zenny. "Anyway, everything is set up through supper. All you have to do is heat it."
"Thanks, much obliged." Zenny thanked him. "Say, um, listen you guys, are you sure about this? I mean you are going to be facing a fleet of 9 ships."
"The Marines are preoccupied with Minchey and his fellow men for now, but if anyone who can get the information, it's them." Ventus told them.
Zenny then nods with an understanding when Chopper leans against the wooden railing.
"Old timer, I made up a whole supply for you, so I want you to take your medicine." Chopper informed him. "Promise me, okay?"
"Alright, alright, relax. I promise to take it, just like I'm supposed to." Zenny replied.
And with that, Luffy pushes the ship away as they began to set sail.
"We had a real good time, old man." Nami said with a smile, waving at him.
"Take good care of yourself." Robin adds.
"Stay out of trouble." Ventus told him.
"Hey, you guys, take care of the old man, okay?" Chopper suggested when the goat replied.
"We'll see you out in the sea sometime." Luffy told him with a grin.
"Yeah! Once I've finished making repairs for the good ship, my boys and I will be setting sail!" Zenny replied with a smile.
"We'll be waiting for you, Zenny the pirate!" Luffy shouts.
And with that, the Straw Hats are now setting sail out of the island and heading towards the sea. Zenny then told the goats that they'll be heading back to the island for a while since they still have to fix the ship and gather the supplies they need for sailing.
After the Straw Hats set sailed, Zenny and the island goats went back to his home to gather the supplies, equipment, and the medicine that Chopper suggested. He noticed a small box is next to it as he opened it, revealing a Log Pose.
"So, age doesn't have anything to do with becoming a pirate, huh son?" Zenny questioned himself with a smirk, then turns to the crates full of medicine. "That kid really knows how to get an idea to someone's head. That Chopper is a determined one too. I wonder how many years I'll need to take this stack of medicine? Much obliged, everyone! Very much obliged! Thanks to you, I think I can tough it out a little while longer. Besides, my life as a pirate is only just beginning."
Zenny then burst with a laugh since his life as a pirate has begun despite his old age.
Somewhere at sea
After the Straw Hats left the island and out of the fog, they continued to sail into the sea while leaving Zenny and the Marines behind. Ventus remained inside of the cabin, doing a lot of thinking of Zenny's words. Even though, the old man does make a valid point and the young Dragoon knows that he'll have to return to Ishgard and fight against the Garlean Empire. But when and how? He's not sure.
"Still thinking about the Garlean Empire?" The voice of Robin asks, earned his attention. "I can tell by that look on your face."
"I guess there's no fooling you." Ventus states with a sigh. "There's that, and for what Zenny told me. He might be right about one thing, but...it won't be easy when they found out of my return to Ishgard after what they did to me."
Robin can tell that his past is still haunting him ever since he was forced to leave Ishgard and grew up in Burmecia. She doesn't blame the young Dragoon.
"But I'm gonna have to face it sooner or later." Ventus said.
"And you're not doing it alone." The voice of Nami said when she and her crew went inside of the cabin. "We'll help you face the Garlean Empire and hopefully, find Altivalios to bring an end to their conquest."
"Yeah, and that way we'll all be there to help. We pirates stay together, right?" Usopp adds with a smile, leaving Ventus shocked.
"But before we do that, we still have to find your uncles and bring those bastards to justice." Zoro suggested. "After all, we're still helping you out, looking for them."
"Yeah, we didn't forget about your first goal." Sanji adds with a smirk. "We still have to gather information of your uncle's current whereabouts. And with any luck, we'll find them and kick their asses."
Ventus then smiled, knowing that they're right about his original goal as he replied with a nod.
"But that aside, ship's doctor, how's the old man doing?" Robin asks, changing the subject when she turns to him. "Will he be alright?"
"The medicine I gave him will help him to control his episodes, but it won't keep him from getting worse." Chopper explains with a sigh. "His heart was fairly weak to begin with, and old as he is, trying to sail a ship, let alone a pirates life."
"Will you stop worrying? The old goat man said he wanted to be a pirate, so let's let him be one." Luffy suggested with a carefree tone. "Besides, once the old timer sets out to sea, he may find an island that has a cure for his illness, and then everything will be fine."
"I guess so." Chopper said with reluctance.
"I don't think we have much to worry about, that old guy isn't going to croak that easily." Zoro states with a smirk, leaning against the wall while crossed his legs. "Maybe he does have a weak heart, but he's also got plenty of guts to make up for it."
"Yeah, he may be an old grump and moneygrubber, but he's just too stubborn to die." Ventus agrees.
"Zoro and Ventus were right, Chopper. We'll see Zenny again." Luffy told him.
Chopper knew that both Zoro and Ventus made a valid point about Zenny, but he can only respond with a smile.
"You bet." Chopper replied.
And with that, the Straw Hat continued to sail towards the sea as their journey continues.
