It had been a week since Harry and Daphne fled Hogwarts. Their time in Hawaii coming to an end the pair spends the morning packing.
Harry had enjoyed a rather tame date with Nikki a few nights prior, a movie and some dinner. Harry was beyond relieved when she understood that it wouldn't be a serious date. She said she figured that much given he didn't live there and she wasn't much for long distance.
Despite all that Daphne was rather cold to him upon returning from said date. Then the next morning insists that he take her out to eat and such. Harry simply complied figuring it'd be easier than fighting. Plus he was hungry anyway.
As they finish their packing Daphne speaks up.
"So what now? You said it won't be till next week we meet with Goldaxe. So what do we do now?"
"There's been a slight change of plans. Originally after Hawaii I would flip a coin. Heads and I'd go to Italy. Tails and off to Norway. Now though we have to meet with Goldaxe back in diagon ally. He said I'm needed for some important meeting that is urgent so I figured we'd go deal with that. Then we spend the next week giving my travel plan a makeover to include place you wanna go." Harry explained
"Ok, that makes sense, so when do we leave for this meeting?" she asked
"We can leave whenever you're ready, once your packed up we can go check out and take our portkey to his office." he replied

An hour later found them in a heap across Goldaxe's floor. Thanks to Harry's special brand of luck involving magical travel Daphne found herself sprawled across potter. Getting over her rough landing she started gathering herself off the floor. She let out a rather loud gasp feeling Harry move as well.
"Mind your hands potter, you don't get to cop a feel just because you're helpless at magical travel." she said imperiously as she stood up over him
"Sorry didn't mean to."
Before Daphne could continue, Harry spoke up addressing Goldaxe.
"So what's this about an important meeting?" he asked
"Good now that you have arrived, we may begin." Goldaxe said ignoring the question
"Hello Harry." called a voice
Harry froze. He knew that voice. A quick glance told him that Daphne knew that voice as well. Did Harry suddenly feel like a mouse that found itself in front of a hungry lion. Yes, yes he did. Did his voice squeak and crack when he turned to answer the woman. No and that will forever remain his answer, his voice most definitely did not sound three octaves to high.
"Hello Mrs. Greengrass. How have you been, it's been awhile."
"Mm yes I'm quite fine, though a couple days ago I received some rather troubling news. You see the headmaster informed me that my daughter Daphne was missing from school grounds. And yet here she is, right next to you. Mind explaining that one Harry?" the elder greengrass finished, a rather dark look in her eyes
Harry quickly glanced at Daphne for help in placating her mother only to find her staring at the ground. Knowing that she wasn't going to offer the slightest bit of help, Harry took a deep breath.
"It's rather simple Mrs. Greengrass. I stumbled upon Daphne here late one night in a rather dire situation. I did what I thought necessary to remove her from such a position as safely as possible. It was then your daughter herself who chose not to return to school." Harry explained calmly
Tora watched the boy intensely waiting to see if he'd break. When he didn't she spoke up.
"Daphne, is his story true?" she asked never taking her eyes off Harry
"Yes mother, a brute he may be, but he is no liar." Dpahne answered looking at Harry.
"So you willingly left and stayed with him then?" Tora asked finally turning to look at her daughter
Being directly under her mother scrutiny Daphne's face burns red as she stammers out a yes. Her mother's face doesn't change as she asks why.
For a few moments there is nothing but silence. Goldaxe is scribbling away at his desk ignoring their conversation. Harry is looking between mother and daughter with a blank look on his face. Daphne is looking anywhere and everywhere that isn't her mother or Harry.
"Pot- Harry, can you show my mother the memories you showed me?" Daphne asked with a softness she had yet to show him
"Yeah sure, Goldaxe if you don't mind?"
Goldaxe pulled out his penseive and set it up. Harry then dropped the right memories in. Harry and Daphne sat in the seat in front of Goldaxe's desk while Tora entered the penseive.
About an hour later Tora return from the penseive. Immediately she engulfed Harry in a warm embrace. Quietly she spoke.
"Thank you, truly from the bottom of my heart I thank you. Time and again you have dealt with danger that left uncheck could've and would've harmed my daughter."
Daphne was surprised at her mothers reaction. Harry even more so. He slowly broke his stupor and brought his arms around the older woman offering a few tentative pats. Releasing the boy Tora turned to her daughter.
"And how are you Daphne? He showed me the memories of the night you left and the following morning."
"It's only been a week but in coping. Harry was quite helpful that morning. There were also a few nights where I had awoken due to nightmares, Harry would stay up with me till I fell back asleep." Daphne then realized potter could hear her and her blush reached atomic levels.
Tora was sure she was seeing the beginning of her daughter's first crush. Of course Daphne was her mother's daughter stubborn as all hell with a prideful streak a mile long. She wished Mr. Potter luck if her little girl was pining after him. Both her daughters could be rather vicious in obtaining what they wanted.
"So Mr. Potter, what will you do now?"
"What oh, um technically the plan was to deal with this meeting then use the next week to plan where we want to go next." he replied
"I see. Why don't you come spend the next week with us at the Greengrass estate. Daphne will be coming home, and we'll need to discuss things with her father going forward but I can understand why you wouldn't want to go back to Hogwarts." Tora proposed
This was enough to bring Daphne back to the here and now.
"Mother you can't. This brute would no doubt ruin dinner and embarrass me in front of father and Astoria." she protested vehemently blush still adorning her cheeks
"Daphne, daughter, I just did. He will come and stay, you will behave as will your sister. We will talk to you father."
Harry couldn't help but blush and take a step back at the look Daphne gave him.

The staff at Hogwarts were frustrated. Two students had upped and disappeared. No trace left behind. Snape was probably most upset among the staff. One of his students has gone missing on his watch. It was completely unacceptable.
Dumbledore was rather worried. If young Daphne wasn't found Mrs. Greengrass would be most upset and undoubtedly blame him. Now on the other hand, if young Harry wasnt found the entire country would be up in an outcry. Either way both students needed to be found, and it needed to be done yesterday.
McGonagall was worried. Not about Harry. Troublesome child he may be, Harry was strong and resilient. Wherever he is, he's no doubt doing just fine. She was worried about this tournament. As far as anyone knew Harry still has two more tasks to complete. Nobody knew exactly what happened to those that didn't compete but most speculated loss of magic if not outright death.
The thought of either happening to one of her students filled her with fear.
