Harry was saved from further elaboration by the floo system flaring to life. Jade flames spat out a tall man with broad shoulders and dark hair. His beard neat and thinly trimmed in a goatee style. Dark brown eyes immediately locked on to Harry's presence at the table. Harry rather quickly put two and two together to understand that this was Daphne's father.

As the man entered further into the room, Harry finally noticed the final occupant in the room. His eyes taking in what looks to be a smaller version of Daphne. The only notable difference being this version actually seemed openly friendly. Like a puppy.

As soon as Daphne's midget clone saw him she spoke.

"Who are you? Mama who is he? Why are you here?"

Harry sat there somewhat dumbfounded at being interrogated by a small child. Luckily Mrs. Greengrass answered for him.

"Astoria behave yourself. Answers with be forthcoming should you be patient enough for them."

Seeing the look on her mother's face somewhat shocked the young girl.

"Yes mama." She replied properly chastised

"Very well, this is Harry Potter. Harry this is my second daughter Astoria. Careful she'll talk your ears off if you let her and she-"

"Mama please, not in front of the Harry Potter. I'll die of embarrassment." Astoria pleaded

"Another time then daughter. Now then, my darling Leon are you done staring down my guest." Tora asked

"Yes in fact I am. I know would like to hear about how he came to be here. No doubt it will be quite the tale." Leon replied his deep tone tainted by a soft rasp

"Then sit, Ruby is serving lunch as we speak. Daphne is up in her room but she'll be down for the feast tonight."

"Mama are we really feasting with him here?" Astoria asked bluntly pointing at Harry. Leon raised and eyebrow in question at his wife showing he too was curious about the answer.

"Of course, you'll understand later, besides he's staying for the week so you'll both be on your best behavior. I'll be talking to Daphne again but she already knows." Tora informed her husband and daughter.

Leon simply takes his place at the table. If Tora said he'd understand then he was sure whatever happened was already being taken care of. Astoria like any child was sulking at being so thoroughly chastised in front of a house guest. She too simply sat at the table.

After a quick lunch Harry made his way back to where he remembered his room to be. He figured he could write his replies and send them off. He'd have to ask to borrow an owl as Hedwig hadn't caught up to him yet. He wasn't worried, she knew the plan and she'd find him when it mattered.

Finishing his letter to Ron Harry sat on his bed. Leaning back he closed his eyes. Seconds after he relaxed he jolted up right at the sudden prodding in his side. Looking over he saw Daphne's little sister.

"What did you do to Daphne. She's locked herself in her room and won't tell me anything. Mama didnt say much other than she was with you the past few days."

Harry paused to think. He didn't really know how he should respond to such an accusation. He really didn't want to try and explain this.

"Look to be frank your mom said she would explain later, so I'm not even gonna try. You'll just have to wait." Harry said lying back down.

"But that's not fair. Mama said she'd explain at dinner and I want to know now." Astoria complained

"Mm yea sucks doesn't it? Don't worry you'll get used to it."

"You know nothing is stopping me from bugging you till you tell me." Astoria said mischievously

"You'll find I'm quite adept at ignoring people."

Before Astoria could reply a voice from the doorway spoke up.

"Astoria get away from him. Who knows what kind of infection you'd catch. No doubt he finds playing in the mud fun." Daphne snarked entering the room

Astoria gazed between the pair, confusion marring her face. Daphne was sending rather heated looks towards Harry, who was lying back in his bed eyes closed and a small smirk on his lips.

"What are talking about?" Astoria asked

Before Daphne could answer Harry piped up with his own.

"Your sister is of the impression that I'm some sort of ruthless, savage barbarian seeking to spread my brutish ways. She's also of the impression that she's some sort of goddess princess who should be worshipped down to the very ground she walks upon." Harry said amusement dripping from his words

After a second to absorb his words Astoria simply nodded in agreement. That sounded like Daphne to her all right.

"Now between you and me she said that she was trying to get me to be one of her worshipers. Not that'd I'd mind it that much but it would definitely cut into my free time. And my free time is very important to me." Harry continued

Daphne squeaked. Her face flushing she sputtered trying to find a response to refute those claims. Astoria figured Harry was being rather reasonable. Sure she may not have fully understood what he was saying in regards to her sister but anything that took away her free time was bad. Harry decided to cut Daphne some slack and changed topics.

"So besides the obvious what else did you come here for?" He asked.

"Mother told me to collect you both, dinner will be ready in twenty minutes." Daphne replied. She was internally grateful for the change of topics.

Astoria bounded out of the room. Daphne gave one glance back to Harry before she too left the room. Harry sighed as he left to catch up, wouldn't do to miss dinner after all.

An: answering some reviews cuz theyre rather simple explanations that dont spoil the plot.

Astoria to start is not of hogwarts age, ive not exactly decided her exact age but thats mostly due to the very little presence she'll have in the story currently i have her character as somewhere between 7-10 years old

to who asked why tracey did talk to daphnes mom, Daphne's mom simply left too quickly after the meeting

as for harry running scared? when did i ever say he was running scared. the fact if the matter is, it doesnt matter how many dragons he CAN fight. why would he want to fight dragons at all. of course he's gonna leave

as for Voldemort being a chump. how? if you read the authors note about how i explained tora power and why she beat on volde was explained there. the fact is in that fight neither was trying to kill the other. volde was trying to recruit tora even when he said she'd die as an example he was hoping to beat her before he killed her to imperius her. tora was simply putting on a display of power to warn volde off. an at this point in that story if we were still following canon volde is a weak as fuck baby zombie of course hes a chump.

to futher explain the 90% of britain being weak to prevent future confusion or issue. the Grindelwald war was in the 40s which effected all of europe. every countrily suffered losses. Voldemort's first rise was in the 70s. this means theres roughly 30 years of inactivity that all of europe and britain is using to rebuild and repopulate. but come Voldemort's rise britain is then set back even further with more loss of life.

the current timeline is in the 90s, so from Grindelwald to present the rest of europe has had 50 years or so to recoup their losses and grow past where they once stood.

so after Voldemort's first fall all the dark magic involved in the war tainted the land causes all magic in britain to be weaker. thus when they went to rebuild and repopulate fro the 70s onward everyone was weak magically.
