Fred and George Weasley were confused. Which was saying something because they prided themselves on their ability to confuse others. Yet here they were reading a letter that absolutely stumped them.

The first thing that confused them was that it was a letter from Gringotts bank. As far as they knew the only people that should be getting any letters from the bank would be their father and two eldest brothers. But this letter clearly said Fred and George Weasley.

The second thing was that apparently it was Harry who had asked the bank to send the letter with a business proposal. And should they accept they have an appointment the first weekend after Yule holidays start.

With barely a glance at each other they knew. Immediately they were planning on accepting. Anything to make money so they could eventually open their own business. Little did they know what their appointment would reveal.

A silver shimmer in the air. Daphne was enraptured. She only saw it for a split second. In the blink of an eye it was gone and Harry was standing between the Greengrass women.

"And just where did you go Harry?" Tora asked

Cheeky grin spread across his face. Instantly all of her melancholy feelings faded into nothing.

"Ah well about that. You see I can't allow anyone to take me back to Hogwarts before I take my 'owls'. No doubt the Director of the DMLE would've done just that. But to actually answer your question, I didn't go anywhere. I was here the whole time."

Harry was cut off from further explanation as Daphne whacked him in the arm.

"You...you...you absolute...ugh." she gave up trying to voice her thoughts as she crossed her arms and upturned her nose away from him.

Tora watched her daughter with an amused smirk. Harry was rather lost and looked to Tora for help. Seeing her smirk at him told all he needed to know.

"I'll be back in a bit." Harry said as he made his way to the fireplace

"And where do you think you're going?" Daphne asked a bit harsh

"Not that I need to justify myself but I'm going to Gringotts. With any luck they'll be able to bump up our appointment a couple days."

"Won't that mean you go in their time room sooner?" Tora asked

"Yes, no doubt the goblins will charge a fee, but I'm willing to pay double what I'm already paying them if it means I get my 'owls' that much sooner. I refuse to allow anyone the chance to take me back to that cesspit they call a school." Harry ranted while throwing in the floo power

"Harry relax." Tora said in a tone he didn't recognize

Harry stopped hand resting on the mantle. Taking a deep breath he silently thanked Mrs. Greengrass. He realized he had started panicking a bit and getting defensive. The Greengrasses weren't the enemy here, there was no need to get angry with any of them.

Daphne was a bit lost. Not about what he was saying, but more about the feeling in the room. Somewhere in the last couple minutes things had taken a turn. There was suddenly a tension in the air so thick it almost seemed to be pushing against her magic keeping her in place.

As the two women watch Harry take a moment to gather himself they noticed the tension eased considerably. But before either could do or say anything Harry spoke again.

"Apologies Mrs. Greengrass you've been nothing but a gracious hostess. It was wrong of me to lash out. With your permission, should Daphne still wish to join me, I'll be back shortly." Harry said before disappearing into the flames

Daphne rushed forward several steps to make chase. She wasn't sure what was wrong or what exactly happened but she could tell that he was hurting. Something in her gut was telling her to chase him. For what she wasn't sure.

Before she could get any further Daphne felt her mother's hand on her shoulder. Looking back to protest her mother met her glare with a stern gaze.

"Let him go. He needs some space right now." Tora said

"But mother-" Daphne started

"Relax daughter, he said he'll be back. Now come, we have things to discuss. Namely your blossoming crush on the boy and what you're going to do about it while the two of you are tucked away deep in goblin territory."

Daphne could only sputter and gape at the evil grin on her mothers face. She couldn't have a crush on potter could she?

Stumbling out of the fireplace at the Leaky Cauldron Harry dusted his shoulders. Quickly making his way into the alley. Once through the barrier he stopped and let the ambient magic wash over him. It calmed him to feel the magic of the alley.

Snapping out of his thoughts he quickly makes his way to Gringotts. He didn't care if he had to pay triple. If Goldaxe could get the tutors together it'd be perfect. Pushing past the heavy front doors Harry looks for a free teller. Spotting one he quickly walks over.

"Hey, I'd like to talk to my account manager." Harry said

"Names of the account and manager?" The goblin said

"Potter and Goldaxe."

"Very well, please take a seat you will be attended to shortly." The goblin instructed

Harry went and sat down. He knew the goblins liked to make people wait. He was actually grateful for it. It gave him several minutes to himself. His emotions were all over the place and didn't even know why. He used this time to relax and sort himself out.
