This story is so weird, lol, but I have fun writing it.

June 10th

Today, Wendy came over and we all went with Amy to hike up a mountain and find that dragon called Ghost. Stan stayed because he'd rather watch TV than climb a mountain if he has a choice. He said that summer vacation is when he gets to be lazy.

Anyways, we met Flora near the base of the mountain and she came with us. Bill hitched a ride on her back not even a whole minute later. She didn't seem bothered. Most of the mountains around here are granite, but this one was made up of a lot of slated rocks and flint. The slates made it easier to climb, kind of like steps, but it was really tiring. Even Wendy and Amy were getting tired by the time we got halfway up the mountain, and those two live for climbing. Luckily that's the highest we had to go as Ghost seemed to use the big jutting ledge at the halfway point as a perch or resting place. There was even a small pool of fresh water that was much appreciated.

The dragons say ghost as "seis", but Ghost doesn't care what language you use. He says "it all means the same word." He's a pretty big guy. Not as big as Gaia, but nearly twice the size of Flora and Zephyr. Big enough for Amy, Bill, Wendy, Mabel, Ford, and myself to ride on his back all together without being bunched up. He's all white, like, pure snow white, with smooth scales. His whole body is just one shade of the same white, even his claws. But his eyes are like big round emeralds that stand out and draw your attention to them. His wings looked teased or tattered, but not like they were damaged. He had a really…ghostly appearance.

Amy said that he "earned" the name Ghost/Seis. What's his real name then? He said he abandoned it a long time ago along with his home world.

Oh yeah, he's from the Nightmare Realm/Necronire. He told us about how he used to work for Ragnarok like everyone else there. He even admitted that he had done bad things under Ragnarok's command. But Ghost isn't a bad guy I guess, because he ended up taking his little brother and fleeing from Necronire just before Gaia and Ouroboros sealed it off. His reason? It was so they could escape Ragnarok's tyranny and violent behavior.

Ghost told us that certain types of powerful beings can absorb the power of those they kill. Ragnarok did that a lot. He's a very bitter and cruel person, and Ghost wanted to get both himself and his brother away from all of it.

Ever since they moved to this world, Ghost has stuck around the tether tree here, using his magic to keep it hidden from humans. I would be offended, but I completely understand. Ancient humans used to climb the mountain to offer Ghost gifts in exchange for his wisdom and knowledge. He found it amusing, I think. Hard to tell since his expression is always so serious. When humans started messing around with magic and summoning spells and they accidentally summoned Bill, they ended up going to Ghost for help. He refused to fight against Bill for some reason or other (Amy claims that Ghost is lazy), but he did teach the humans how to use the Zodiac wheel to seal him away. I didn't get the chance to ask him if he created the seal himself or if it was just something he knew how to do…

Before that, though, his brother ended up deciding that humans deserved to be exterminated. I don't know what his real name was either, but they called him Revolune. It means Crusade or something like that. Not sure why exactly, but Crusade ended up coming to that conclusion and Ghost's only way to stop him was to use a Zodiac and seal his brother in the Spirit Realm. Ghost said that it was to protect both humans and Crusade, because surely humans would end up retaliating. I mean, dragons left because humans kept killing them or something, so…

According to Ghost, the Spirit Realm spans across all dimensions at the same time. Ghost himself can disappear and move through the Spirit Realm at will. He did that when he brought us back down the mountain. It's like being in the same world you're in now, but it's paler and quiet. You can faintly hear the sounds from the physical world around you and you can see but no one outside of the Spirit Realm can see you. They can't hear or feel you either. And you just pass right through things like a…well, like a ghost! It's a place where no one can harm or be harmed.

The only ones that can pass in and out of that realm at will are spirits and the lost souls of the dead. As well as a certain type of being that the dragons call Dreamweavers. Beings like Ghost and Bill who can move through the mindscape and dreams. But I'm not sure if Bill is currently able to do that. I know he can still get into our dreams though. The jerk scared me half to death last night…

Oh, he had another weird spurt of magic earlier too, but this time he definitely noticed. He went to pick up a book and it spontaneously erupted into flames, turned to ashes, and made a mess on the carpet. Even Bill looked surprised. Amy was mad that he destroyed one of her books, but he insisted that it was an accident. I guess this is why he's not allowed near her sheep…

"Mabel," Dipper shook his sister's shoulder. "Wake up."

She mumbled something into her pillow then turned away from him. "I don't wanna go to school…"

"Mabel! It's almost noon!"

She groaned and sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Wha- We missed breakfast?"

"Man, your hair's a mess," he laughed. The sound of someone yelling down the hall caught their attention. "Was that Grunkle Stan?"

"It came from the living room!" Mabel jumped out of bed.

They rushed into the living room to find its floor and furniture covered with mud and a muddy Waddles rolling on the carpet. Stan was pointing at the pig and fussing. "No, bad pig! Don't you ignore me!"

"Whoa," Dipper stated as he looked over the mess. "How did this happen?"

Stan crossed his arms and glared at Waddles. "I opened the door and this guy just runs right in and starts painting everything with mud! Come 'ere you!" He reached to grab the pig.

"Grunkle Stan, wait!" Mabel called. Waddles darted out of his reach and ran into the kitchen and under the table, leaving behind a trail of muddy hoofprints. "You're scaring him!" She ran after the pig and he darted from under the table and back into the living room. He squealed and ran through Dipper's legs, almost knocking the boy over, and then slid under the couch.

"Is he stuck?" Stan asked. Mabel kneeled beside the couch and peeked under it, trying to gently coax Waddles out.

Suddenly, the front door flew open and they looked to see Bill walk inside, followed by Bud. After a few steps he flinched and looked down to find that he had just stepped in mud. "What the…" He looked around. "Whoa-ho, what happened in here?"

Bud sniffed at the mud then looked at the couch and started growling; he bounded over to the couch, barking loudly. Startled, Waddles bolted from under the couch, Bud chasing after him, barking.

"No Bud!" Mabel tried to stop him. "Waddles didn't mean it!"

"Hey, watch it!" Bill quickly stepped out of the way as the pig came running past him and out the door. Bud yelped and tried to skid to a halt, but the old dog ended up slipping in mud, causing him to slide into Bill's legs and knock him over into the mud as well.

Amy had just finished, finally, cleaning out her sheep's wool (she was still picking glitter out from Mabel's sheep makeover) when she saw Waddles come running from the house. The pig was muddy and looked frightened. "Whoa!" She blocked him before he reached the sheep pin and managed to get him to relax by scratching his ears. "You are not going in there after I just spent hours cleaning those sheep. What's gotten into you anyway?" She picked up the pig and brought him over to the old barn where her ox was munching away on some hay. "Chill out here for a bit," she said as she placed Waddles down on the hay covered ground before heading for the house.

"What the!?" Amy was completely taken aback when she entered her house. There were tracks and trails of mud leading all over her living room and into her kitchen. Dipper and Mabel exchanged worried glances. She looked down to see her dog slicked with mud and shamefully pouting off to the side. Nearby, Bill was sitting on the floor, covered in mud as well, with a look of extreme annoyance plastered onto his face. "Who did this?!" Amy wasn't sure what to think. She was confused and angry, but she also found the scene to be a little humorous too.

"Not me," Stan stated quickly before escaping up the stairs.

She let out an exasperated sigh. "All right," she looked sternly at the twins. "One of you is going to clean this. The other is going to help me clean Bud… and Bill."

"What?" he growled. "I'm not taking a dog bath!"

"Well, you're not getting mud in my bathroom tub or anywhere else in this house," she retorted, stamping her foot down hard. He flinched slightly then turned away annoyed.

He sat, still fully clothed and very annoyed, in the waterfilled wooden wash tub beside the house with the dog facing him. Grinning widely, Mabel was scrubbing Bill's head with a long scrub brush while Amy lathered up Bud's back. "Humiliating…" Bill gritted his teeth. He glared at the dog staring at him and wagging its tail. "This is partly your fault," he said. Bud leaned forward and licked his face, causing him to display an expression of shock and disgust which the two girls found to be hilarious.

Later, Amy came downstairs to find Bill sitting cross-legged in her recliner with his arms crossed. He still looked annoyed. "Why are you in my chair?" Amy pushed his leg out of the way and plopped down beside him. The chair was only made for a single person, so its cushioned arms made it a tight fit. She smiled at his annoyed look. "Aw, are you still mad about getting a doggy bath?" She reached over and flicked at his bangs then ran her fingers through his hair. "But now you smell like strawberries," she laughed.

"Oh, goodie…" he rolled his eye.

"Couldn't you have just used magic to clean off?" Dipper was slouching on the sofa, tired after cleaning up the place. "Or to clean the house…?"

"If I could then I would have," he growled.

Mabel was sitting beside her brother and casually stroking Waddles' back while he napped. "His powers are all messed up, remember? Kinda like Grunkle Stan's car AC where it works sometimes but not all the time. Like, it never works when you need it to, you know? But when you want the heater on, it turns the AC on instead."

Bill stared at her. "What are you even talking about?"

"Hey!" Stan pointed at Mabel. "The old girl tries her best, okay!"

Mabel scooted closer to her brother and nudged him with her elbow. Her gave her a look and she whispered to him. "Don't you think they're a cute couple?"

"Stan and his car?"

She rolled her eyes and shoved him. "No dummy! Them!" she gestured with her eyes at Bill and Amy.

Dipper blinked at her. "What? They're not a couple."

"But they could be," she smirked and winked at him. "Wink!"

"Are you forgetting who he is?" Dipper sat up straight. "He's crazy, tried to kill us and take over humanity? Ring any bells?"

"Okay, yeah, but what if they were a couple? Maybe he'd be…less of a homicidal tyrant."

"Are you—Are you serious? You do hear what you're saying right now, right?"

"Come on," she said. "Don't you think even he can change?"

"No, no I do not. You have officially lost your mind, Mabel. I want nothing to do with whatever you're planning to do. Just leave me out of it."

"Out of what?" Amy's question caused them to jump. Their reaction stirred suspicion in her and she narrowed her eyes at them. "You better not be planning on messing with my sheep again. Do you have any idea how annoying it is to clean glitter out of sheep wool?"

"It's also flammable," Bill stated casually, gaining him a confused glare from Amy.

"Psh, no," Mabel laughed. "I won't decorate the sheep again, I promise. Is the dog off limits?" Bud's head shot up with a frightened expression on his face. "No, we were just talking about what might be for dinner tonight."

"We?" Dipper looked at her. "What did I just say about leaving me out of this?"

"Well," Amy crossed her arms. "What do you want for dinner?"

"Lobster, or maybe a steak."

Amy stared at her for a moment. "Excuse me?"

Mabel gasped. "We should totally go eat out tonight! There's that one fancy restaurant, I'm sure they've probably started actually cooking the lobster now."

"They didn't before?" Amy was baffled at the idea of being presented with a live or raw lobster on her plate. "Eh, I'd rather not…"

"Come on," Mabel pleaded. "You don't have to order lobster. It'll be a nice change of pace from farm life."

"I guess…" Amy tried to look away from her puppy-dog eyes. "…But I'm not wearing a dress."

"Deal!" Mabel smiled.

"Why exactly are we sitting at different tables?" Amy turned to look across the restaurant where Mabel, Dipper, Stan, and Ford were all sitting at a table. Mabel waved excitedly at her while Dipper was shaking his head and Ford was watching with narrowed eyes.

"I like it better this way," Bill said as he leaned back. "I didn't want any of them sitting near me anyway."

Ford glanced at Mabel. "What exactly are we doing here?"

"Don't worry," Mabel told him. "It'll be fine."

"What are you talking about?"

The sound of groups of people chatting all around was beginning to bother Amy. Could she even call it social anxiety, or was it just straight fear? Were they even different things? Something about humans bothered her, especially groups or crowds. They made her nervous, but there was also a hint of annoyance, maybe even slight anger. She grew up alone, but for the most part she chose to be away from other humans. They couldn't understand. Just look at what they did to her mother…

She started remembering Ghost. A big snow-white dragon with emerald eyes and wings like a tattered sheet. Why wouldn't he answer Gaia himself? Hiding from humans is one thing, but Gaia and her dragons had no intention of harming him. Even if they did, he was more than capable of fighting back or escaping. He's so lazy, she thought.

Ghost was the only one who ever really understood her. She was completely comfortable around the beast, but that might have been because she'd known him since she was a baby. He pretty much raised her. She had only seen him once before now ever since Bill arrived, but she often felt Ghost's presence nearby. She laughed a bit. His name was fitting.

"What's funny?"

She looked up at Bill. "Everything."

He tilted his head ever so slightly. "For a minute you seemed agitated over something. Now you're laughing. And they say I'm crazy."

"I laughed once," she huffed. "There are too many people, so I started thinking of other things."

"Hmm, I could thin them out." He crossed his arms. "So, did you enjoy your trip to Telmak the other day?"

"Oh, yes." She ran her finger along the rim of her water glass. "It was quite lovely. Thanks for asking. Gaia was a kind hostess. We even got to know a bit about her family. Well, not much that I didn't already know myself… Have you met them?" She was clearly sarcastic but in more of a playful manner than a rude one.

"All but one," he replied.

"Oh? Which one?"

"Valor."

They stared at each other for a moment. "Well," Amy broke the silence. "I've met Gaia, but never the others. What do you think of her brothers?"

"Ouroboros doesn't care much for me. He's pretty temperamental."

"Like you?" She smirked and Bill shrugged. She tilted her head. "What about Ragnarok?"

He almost broke his gaze away from her but caught himself. "Hm, how would I describe him? He's pretty big, for one. Always growing. Angry, rude, violent…" He stopped and stared through her, as if he was remembering something unpleasant before he focused on her again. "He's probably not very happy with me right now."

"Oh?"

Before anything else was said, a waiter appeared and placed a silver platter in front of each of them. He quickly removed the covers and walked away.

"We didn't even order—" Amy stopped and stared at the lobster twitching its antennas at her. "Um, I think mine is a little undercooked." She carefully pushed the plate aside.

Bill looked down at the plate of steak and vegetables and pushed it over to her. "Here then." He waited quietly while she ate and watched the lobster slowly crawl across the table. The instant she placed her fork down later, he smirked and said, "Hey, watch this!"

They all watched from the outside, Bill laughing manically, as terrified people ran from the flaming restaurant as it fell apart. The eight-foot-tall lobster monster roared as it climbed out from the fiery rubble and threw its claws into the air triumphantly. Claws at the ready, it approached them, mouth drooling a strange green liquid. Amy stared at it calmly as it approached; Bill snapped his fingers and the beast suddenly shrunk down and changed back to normal, landing right at her feet and prodding her shoe harmlessly.

"Well," she said as she turned and walked off with Bill following after, "that was certainly some trick. Thanks for waiting until after I had eaten, I guess."

He smiled widely. "And we didn't even have to pay! Hahaha!"

"That didn't go exactly like I had imagined," Mabel said.

"What did you expect?" Dipper shot her a look.

"Quick!" Stan began ushering them away. "If we leave now, we might not get questioned. Go, go! Before the cops see us!"

June 14th

Today, Bill used a giant lobster monster to burn down a restaurant… Yup, that's a sentence.

So, from the top:

Waddles had slipped into the house all covered in fresh mud and ended up getting it everywhere. EVERYWHERE. The wood, the carpet, the couch, under the couch, the kitchen…ugh. Why so much?!

Then, Bill came inside with Bud. Bud didn't appreciate Waddles' redecorating skills, so he chased him out the house. While doing so, though, he collided into Bill's legs and knocked him over. They both got covered with mud. I still can't figure out how Waddles brought so much mud in…

Amy came inside shortly after and was furious. Well, maybe not entirely. She did look like she was trying not to smile when she saw Bud and Bill over in the corner. She wouldn't let Bill go any further into the house, which meant he couldn't get to the bathroom to clean off. Instead, she made him go outside and sit in a wooden washtub with the dog. I might have felt bad if it wasn't so funny. Or if it was anyone other than HIM. Of course, I was the one who had to clean up the mud in the house after… Even though it's Mabel's pig!

Bill spent the rest of the afternoon pouting basically. He just sat in Amy's chair with his arms crossed and this look on his face that said "If any of you talk to me, I'll kill you." Of course, Amy didn't care and she moved him over and sat in the chair with him. She even teased him a little and was messing with his hair. I'm pretty sure if anyone else even tried to do that, he would break their hand.

Mabel seems to think the two of them would make a good couple, but I disagree. I mean, it's BILL! Of course, there's no stopping my sister once she's decided to play matchmaker, so she convinced Amy to take us all out to eat at this fancy restaurant without telling her why. She wasn't very keen on the idea, but I think she has a soft spot for Mabel so she ended up agreeing anyway. Mabel made them sit together at a table away from us though. One of those booth tables. Great job at being discrete, Mabel…

All was calm, then suddenly, there was screaming and an eight-foot-tall lobster monster started rampaging through the place and spitting acid at people. We high-tailed it out of there just as something blew up. When we turned to look, the building was on fire and collapsing! Amy just watched with this silent, unreadable expression while Bill stood there with his arms stretched out and laughed like an absolute lunatic. Of course it was him… I guess he had gotten bored. Mabel says he might have been showing off. Probably both.

We had to book it out of there before the cops saw us. Grunkle Stan still has a lot of warrants.

Later in the night, before I even got the chance to write all of this, Wendy showed up at the window to our room. When I opened it to see what she was doing, she said "Guys, you gotta see what I just saw. Come on!" So, Mabel and I climbed through the window to follow her. She led us all the way to the lake and held her arm out to stop us at the edge of the trees then put her finger to her lips and crouched down. We kept quiet and did the same, then she pointed to something over by the lakeshore.

The moonlight was bright enough reflecting off the water and all to see that it was Bill and Amy. They were standing near the water, talking. I don't know what they were talking about. They were too far to make anything out. I did hear Bill laugh about something though and Amy shook her head at him.

"They were sitting together when I saw them earlier," Wendy told us in a whisper. "I came to get something I had forgotten when I noticed them sitting under that tree over there. What do you think they're talking about?"

I shrugged and asked if we should try to get closer, but Mabel shushed us and pointed back at them. I don't know why, there was no music or anything, but the two of them started slow dancing together. Weird.

We watched for a little bit then snuck away to start going back to the house. Wendy walked with us for a while and we all debated what they might have been talking about. At first, Wendy was worried that he might have been trying to manipulate Amy or something. That's why she came to get us. I thought that too. Mabel thought otherwise. She thinks they were flirting or whatever. Yeah, okay. Wendy said that she thinks they were just having a casual conversation in the end, but the dancing together threw her off. I think Mabel's the only one not thrown off by it, but I don't think it happened for any reason she thinks it did.

Still…

To be continued…

Something was bound to blow up eventually...
