Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here the story picks up where the last chapter left, as the aftermath of the massacre is shown…and what Midoriya and Makoto would do next…

As Izuku Midoriya took his leave, Makoto Tsukauchi could only watch as the younger boy boarded the motorcycle, and saw the somber look on his face as he puts on the helmet, then left, which Makoto wondered if she should follow him as she is suspicious towards the boy after being told that he has a Phantom inside him.

As Makoto saw three police vans and ambulances arriving, she greeted them and several seconds later the reinforcement members were taken aback at the gruesome scenes and asked Makoto what happened, only to be taken aback after being told, and now they are skeptical about whether to take her word seriously or not.

"Monsters…you say…?"

"Serioisly?"

"Are you sure…?"

"Aren't you making this up…?"

"Unbelievable…"

"I doubt it."

"Nobody would believe you."

"Nice alibi…"

As Izuku is leaving the scene of the incident while on board his motorcycle, he did not notice that the Minotaur Phantom is hiding, and saw Izuku who is unaware of it, and once seeing Izuku facing away while departing, Minotaur decided to strike him when least expected, thus killing the younger boy on the spot.

However, before the Phantom can unleashed a fiery blast, a magical offensive spell struck Minotaur from behind, knocking him down, and there the same magical attack struck him again, further knocking Minotaur back.

Wizardriver: "EXPLOSION…NOW..."

Another blast knocks the Phantom silly and there Minotaur was too dazed to see who did this as the scene shows that the White Wizard is there as he foiled the Phantom from carrying out the intent to ambush Izuku.

The White Wizard toggles the Wizardriver again before placing his right hand in front of the belt and his magic ring glowed which confirm the spell activation.

Wizardriver: "EXPLOSION…NOW..."

Another powerful blast rattles the Phantom, and he is down on the ground, where he is surprised to see that another wizard stood before him, and demanded to know who the White Wizard is.

"What…?"

"…"

"Another wizard?"

"…"

"I wasn't told about this!"

"Begone, foul fiends!"

"You'll regret this!"

"Too bad."

The White Wizard toggles the Wizardriver once again before placing his right hand in front of the belt and his magic ring glowed which confirm the spell activation.

Minotaur is taken aback and attempted to defend himself but is too late as the White Wizard has already summoned another magical attack.

"Now you die, Phantom."

"!"

"Say your last words…"

"You won't beat me!"

"Hah."

"I will kill you!"

"Too bad."

"!"

Wizardriver: "EXPLOSION…NOW..."

Another explosive attack struck the Minotaur Phantom, which sends him careening against some crates, and this made him decide to make a hasty retreat and fled. The White Wizard then saw Makoto Tsukauchi rushing towards the scene after hearing several successive blasts, and there the White Wizard toggles the Wizardriver again before placing his right hand in front of the belt and his magic ring glowed which confirm the spell activation.

Wizardriver: "TELEPORT…NOW..."

A magical circle formed beneath him and envelopes the White Wizard before disappearing, and as Makoto arrived, she is baffled as she saw nothing other than smoke emanating from a few spots, and wondered if the Phantom is still hear, but a medic came and told Makoto that she is needed, and she nodded, and the two left the area, unaware of the brief battle that happened a while ago.

"We need you to assess the area…"

"I understand…"

"What was that blast?"

"Don't know."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

"Nobody there?"

"None."

Ch. 4: Gyakusatsu no yoha

At a hidden hideout, the Minotaur Phantom is shown sitting on a stool, nursing his head after the Wizard's attack which resulted in him losing a horn and he can be heard moaning slightly in pain.

Then two figures emerged from a corner, and are rather dismayed that Minotaur came back looking like a sore loser and they confronted him, where the two entrants are revealed to be Phantoms as well, identified as the Medusa Phantom and the Phoenix Phantom.

"So…you came back."

"How are things there?"

"I suppose you have results…"

"What's with you? You looked banged up."

"Never mind that. Tell us how things went."

"You heard her."

"Tell me."

"Hurry up, man."

Minotaur bowed at them, showing that the two aforementioned Phantoms are of higher ranking, and Medusa asked why he came back here abruptly, which Minotaur admitted that he intend to ambush the wizard but is foiled by another wizard, which Phoenix stared in curiosity and asked if Minotaur is making a lame excuse.

Minotaur proved his point by showing Phoenix the spots on his body where the White Wizard uses his magical attack, and said that if this white-armored doesn't show up then his job will push through without problem, and Phoenix asked more about this other wizard.

"Hey."

"Yes?"

"Tell me more."

"Huh?"

"This magical clown in white? What's he like?"

"He is dressed in white…"

"I know that!"

"Well…he is…"

Medusa interjected and tells Minotaur to focus on the targeted Gate, which he nodded and promised that they will have the results within today, which Medusa tells him that they must make more Phantoms born so that the Sabbath will take place before commencing the Walpurgis, which Minotaur nodded.

"Just focus on your job."

"Yes."

"And let no one stop you."

"Yes."

"I don't care what you would do. Just finish the job."

"Yes."

"And to make things clear…I will not tolerate failure."

"Yes."

Much later, the scene shifts at the Omokagedo Antique Store, where Wajima just sat on a couch as he glanced at the crystal ball where he saw the police are loading the dead bodies and putting them inside several bodybags while Makoto Tsukauchi could only stood there watching.

By then the door chime rang and he turn around, where he saw Izuku entering, which the ring maker greeted him and began to offer him a bottle of water, though Izuku just nodded and sat on the couch, looking dejected and Wajima asked him why the younger boy is so glum even though he did a good job in driving the Minotaur Phantom away.

"I was too late. Only that woman survived."

"Its not that bad…"

"It is. She's just like me…a sole survivor."

"But you saved a life. That's what matters."

"I...feel miserable…"

"Izuku…"

"I could have arrived faster…and if I did…"

"Izuku…"

Wajima nodded as he understood why Izuku is so down, and tells him that he is not at fault for what happened at the warehouse and said that what matters is that Makoto Tsukauchi is safe and thus Izuku is able to save a life. He also said that he shouldn't push himself too hard and just focus on what's in front of him.

Izuku just nodded as Wajima's advice helped him calm down and there the ring maker said that he is going to cook food, stating that a wizard will need a FULL STOMACH as facing Phantoms will require A LOT OF ENERGY.

"Okay then."

"Huh?"

"Time to get to work…"

"What…"

"I'll cook lunch. And you're going to eat."

"Wajima-san…"

"After all…facing a lot of Phantoms would require food for your body…right?"

"Yeah…"

Within 30 minutes Wajima prepared the food and Izuku digs in, and as the two are dining, Wajima asked if Izuku was able to figure out who was the Phantom's target, which the younger boy admitted that he hasn't figured out yet, but promised that he will see to it that there won't be any more deaths and that the Phantom will be taken down before another death would take place.

Wajima nodded and tells Izuku that it is okay but he should always stay calm and not rely too much on his emotions as the Phantom would exploit it to their advantage.

"…and that's the advise I can give you…"

"Okay."

"Always keep a cool head. Even if things get too tense…"

"Okay."

"So try not to get riled up."

"Okay."

"So are we good…?"

"Yeah."

By then a customer came and asked if Wajima is here as the customer said that she is looking for an antique-like item that she would like to buy, and Wajima himself stood up and tells the customer that he will attend to her shortly.

"Are you the store owner?"

"Yeah. I'm the one."

"I'm looking for an item…"

"Okay…I'll assist you shortly…"

"And do you accept call-in orders? I have a friend who…"

"Yes. We'll discuss it in a while…"

"Oh would you prefer cash or credit card…"

"Cash, please…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as I sort of started the story with a bit of somber moments following the massacre inside the warehouse…

Two more Phantoms appeared and they seemed to be of higher ranking given how they ordered Minotaur around…

The White Wizard appeared and showcased his magic which drove Minotaur away. He will pop up again sometime soon…
