Chapter 8: Just Some Nerd in the Academy

The day was finally here, Naruto has to go to the Academy. Just like any other day in which Naruto has to do something new he was nervous as hell. Surrounded by kids who can be very mean he almost refused to go to the academy but with Sasuke's reassurance he complied.

The moment Naruto entered the academy all the confidence which he build during the last week all was drain in the gutter. Every eye was pointed at him when he took his first step in the academy. He was very nervous which was slowly tuning into paranoia because every parents present during the children's first day in the academy were glaring at him with hatred. But with Sasuke's hand on his shoulder he builds up the courage to move forward.

Mikoto & Fugaku were present at their child's first day in the academy and when they saw Sasuke helping Naruto to enter the academy a smile grew on each on their face, seeing that they thought maybe Naruto can have a normal life to.

The day went as any other first day goes in a child's life. Yes that was true for Naruto. He was a one of the shy kid in the class as the other one was Hinata. Sasuke was one of the popular kids not just in his class but the whole academy, he always sited with Naruto and sometime use him as an excuse or shield against the girls and soon a fan-club was formed just in one day. Ino, Sakura and Ami were the most popular girls in the school and the co-founder of the Sasuke fan-club. Kiba Inuzuka, Shikamaru Nara and Choji Akimichi were the back benchers of the class. Shino was well Shino.

The red haired twins were also at the same class as them. Their names are Shogo & Shoko with no last name. They were usually live in the orphanage but spend most of their time with Hiruzen & Biwako Sarutobi who always treat them like their own grandchildren and the kids like their Grandparents. Shoko was also very popular with the boys too but all of them were too scared to make a move on her as the twins were drop off by the Hokage and his Wife. Shogo was a bookworm and wanted to be like Hokage the Professor and be at top of his class but things were not going as smoothly as hoped because he was getting showed up by his two classmate Naruto & Sakura. Naruto was very good at logical thinking and he defined everything in his own words. Sakura was more intelligent than Naruto because she had somewhat of a photographic memory. They both had already finished with the syllabus for the whole year and Naruto even was studying some of the subject mentioned for future & answering questions which were not in the syllabus. Because of them Shogo as soon as reached home hit his books studied hard.

The teachers taking the class of Naruto were very unhappy as all their attempts to take down Naruto in studies were a major failure. They were very surprised each and every time he answered correctly and were at a loss what to do next.

Hiruzen was very amused to here from Shoko about all that happened in the academy especially about Naruto. Now he can hope that Naruto school life would go smoothly.

Days passed and Naruto was very happy with his life and his path towards reaching career. Naruto & Sasuke were successfully progressing in his training. They have completed leaf chakra training exercise and physically progressing by increasing their workout duration. Naruto was progressing with his fuinjutsu and Sasuke was starting to take an interest in genjutsu.

Shoko was mad at Naruto on the second week. It started because of Naruto making her offended as so she thought. Shoko was very captivated by Naruto's hair and his looks as by chance she saw by chance his cute puppy face. As she approached Naruto while he was alone, Naruto was about to break into billion pieces because he was scared as hell. Shoko was trying to communicate to Naruto who was sitting quiet like a statue. Naruto really doesn't want to talk to her if was trying to make her stop, the only question was how then he remembered a similar situation with Guy & Kakashi.

Naruto: Sorry, did you say something?

At that moment she was so furious and so Naruto running away. She was burning with rage for at least 5 minutes, little did she know that Naruto was crying in the toilet because he did something wrong. And now each time Naruto walks in front of Shoko she gives him an angry cold stare which makes him hide in his hoodie.

Shogo is frustrated, because Naruto was at the top of the class in every activity performed in the class. He could beat Sakura at least in the activity which doesn't involve studying but at physical activity he was left behind by Sasuke, Kiba & Naruto. He can't even believe that Naruto excelled at everything like he wanted be. And most important he had some nerve to disrespect his sister. He swears to himself that he would teach him a lesson by surpassing him.

A shiver ran through Naruto spine which makes him scared for some reason.

Shikamaru & Choji were surprised to see Sasuke had a friend and his changed behavior from last year. They completely did not expect his behavior to change from his father scowling to his mother. And Naruto was a mystery to Shikamaru which wanted to solve because he was like he dropped out of a sky, doesn't share any information, makes girls angry and excels at class activity which made him all the more interesting for Shikamaru to unravel his mystery classmate. And Choji well he wanted to go ask Naruto what food does he like to eat.

Kiba like any other Inuzuka thought of Naruto, Shogo and especially Sasuke as a rival who wanted to be the class alpha. Kiba was not smart but he knew what was up with Naruto more than Shikamaru as he could smell the fear and each time he cried whenever he got scared. He thought he was like Hinata.

Hinata admires Naruto because she could tell that Naruto was like her or even worse but still he was good at everything he does.

Sakura, Ami & Ino didn't like Naruto, reason was that he was always in their way between Sasuke. Each and every attempt made by them were shot by Sasuke and he ones told them he that he lived with Naruto and rather be hanging with than them. This infuriated the club and on that day Naruto became the enemy of the Sasuke fan-club.

Another shiver ran through Naruto's spin which made him turn around and look everywhere for person who wants to harm him.

Just like that half a year passed and it was the time for the half year exams which put a smile on the nerd's face.

Meanwhile Somewhere in the Village Hidden in the Mist (unknown date & time)

Jiraiya was standing in front of a man in his sage mode 20m away.

Jiraiya: Never thought that I would you again.

Both men move forward and Kage level battle occurred.
