Chapter 10: Just Some Regret

Saleswoman: The hair is one of the most important parts of the women body. They love it, care it and also use them as a part of their charm. But still most beautiful hair was given to a boy by gods for some reason and someone ruin it. Even if she washed them they would not be the same as before. What hurts the most is that the kid went bald wouldn't let it grow again. Welcome, how may help you?

Rin: Hey what's this weird rumor that I am hearing, that you bald someone?

Rin immediately went to find Mikoto as she was the only one who can console him.

After finding her they quickly move towards his residence and on reaching they slam the door open. When they entered kids already went to a sleep and sudden opening of the door didn't disturb them in the least. Mikoto without making any sound lay down beside Naruto examining his puffy eyes couldn't help the tears rolling down her eyes hugged him like her own child.

The next day Naruto reverted back to his previous self only talking to only Sasuke. After his reverting back it was hard for Mikoto to stay near him as he was avoiding everyone. So after making them breakfast she left towards the Hokage office.

Sasuke woke up with an angry look went straight to the academy leaving Naruto alone at home. Shikamaru told Sasuke about those boys & Kiba heard some 11 year old kids bragging about beating Naruto during lunch break. There were 10 children in his class and 3 from senior year whom Sasuke cornered during lunch break. Shikamaru, Kiba & Choji wanted to help in the fight but when they saw Sasuke's sharingan blazing furiously with anger looking at them which made them completely backed up. In the fight Sasuke got some wounds which would heal in few days whereas those 13 kids each got bruises, some broken bones and a death threat. After that he got suspended for 1 month which he was happy to take as it would mean 3 months off including holidays with no academy just training plus he got something special to cheer Naruto up tonight.

Hiruzen was enraged after hearing what happened to Naruto yesterday and quickly an enquiry was held about bullying in academy and every staff member and student were questioned. And on that day many staff members lost their job for not doing it properly and lost their rank for losing their code of honor as a chunin. He hated this job because even though he so powerful he felt powerless.

Shogo & Shoko were concerned for Naruto after they learn the whole truth from the enquiry.

Biwako just wanted to see Naruto very much, each time her heart ache when she sees him crying. After hearing about what happen to him just when he was feeling better she burst into tears. It was becoming unbearable for her to keep those siblings away when they needed each other the most.

Obito, Rin & Kakashi were keeping an eye on Naruto from shadows as he was busy meditating under a waterfall. They were scared for him as now there was a possibility that he might never open up to anyone in the future ever again.

Rin: If big sis Kushina was hear she would have burned down the whole academy.

Obito: We could burn it for her.

Kakashi: But would that really help him though?

Team Minato stood in silence thinking different ways to break down walls created by Naruto.

No Uchiha Clan members were allowed to conduct the enquiry because it put them in a bad situation. It was not long ago where they were disliked in the village, so punishing some civilian child and teacher could only put them in the bad spot. The only reason Fugaku & Mikoto were at the academy was because Sasuke was in a fight and all of them were suspended and everyone except Sasuke were held back a year.

Mikoto: How are the wounds?

Sasuke: They'll heal.

Fugaku: You do realize how utterly stupid your actions were. You could have included the other clan heirs to your fight, now they made you look like a bad person who picked a fight with them. Your decision to fight alone may cause damage our clan's reputation.

Sasuke: (saying while showing sharingan with 1 tomoe each) the others helped me to round them up, that's all the help I needed. And as for the clan's reputation; it can go screw itself. I don't give a fuck (said with a cold voice and then leave for home).

Both Fugaku and Mikoto looked at Sasuke's leaving for a minute.

Fugaku: Have I ever told you sincerely of how proud I am of him?

Mikoto: No and you should say this to him not me.

Fugaku: He kind of reminds me of you from the old days.

Mikoto: What?

Fugaku: Didn't you notice?

Mikoto: Fuck you.

Fugaku: See?

Mikoto: Oh (realizing).

Hinata was sad because even though Naruto was the best he didn't get the respect he deserves but instead the villagers hate him even more. She saw him once getting yelled at for no reason and the hateful glare pointed at him, even though he was so much hated and demotivated he became the best in the class. He was no genius, she once talked to Sasuke he told her that he was a smart worker. He could not understand everything so he finds a different way which leads to the same goal but the path to reach that goal he chose was easier for him and to find that path thinks for it day & night. Then she ask Sasuke for a favor to ask Naruto for a advice on how she can get stronger; reply was all she needs to calm her mind, try to find someone to analyze or try it yourself to identify her errors, get a training partner who is at same level as you sparring with someone stronger than you would not help you to grow and stop holding back treat each spar like a life or death situation. This was the reason why she admires him. And she saw him after getting bald in the shopping district, his crying face made her heart ache and the people around him were just starring some were even amused. This was reason why she didn't go to school the next day because she can't look him whom she idolizes so much unhappy.

Sasuke came home early because of suspension and saw him meditating under the waterfall.

Sasuke: Hey bro what are you doing?

Naruto: Learning to use water style.

Sasuke: And this helps you how?

Naruto: What I am trying to do is clearing my mind and control water droplets.

Sasuke: But you are sitting under a waterfall.

Naruto: Yes and that help me to connect to the element from each part of my body.

Sasuke: Are you succeeding.

Naruto: I have been doing this every morning and I can make a water bullet. The next step is to control the water's movement.

Sasuke: Shouldn't I do the same thing with fire same as you?

Naruto: You should but to do that you need first cover your entire body with chakra for safety purposes and as for me I am learning at this moment to cover my organs or body part with chakra.

Sasuke: I thought you said you learning to control water?

Naruto: Controlling water is an end goal and covering my body parts with chakra would lead me to that goal.

Sasuke: How can water hurt you dude?

Naruto: A human body has at least 5l water. I could mistakenly kill myself if I didn't control properly.

Sasuke: That makes sense, so you got any tips for me?

Naruto: You can cover your entire body with chakra from the get go instead of doing it at one body part at time and use it for not only as a cover from fire but as a shield from physical attack.

Sasuke: That's a very nice idea. I'll work on that.

At night around 9 pm after dinner Sasuke decided to give that surprise that he wanted to give Naruto since forever but now was the best time as any because it was going to cheer him up.

Sasuke: Hey bro you still smoking joint?

Naruto: No it injurious to health but now I can because of the chakra control over my organs it cannot harm me anymore.

Sasuke: Good I got something more which could help us relieve stress.

Naruto: More marijuana?

Sasuke: No but I have alcohol which my father uses to relieve his stress.

Naruto: How much?

Sasuke: Enough that till morning we won't remember a thing.

Naruto: Cool, we should do this more often.

Sasuke: I know right, I always wanted to get wasted.

Naruto: You want to smoke?

Sasuke: I can't because I can't control chakra like you.

Naruto: It's cool you can also get wasted on alcohol too.

After that Sasuke popped the bottles and gave one bottle to Naruto. Naruto light the joint, start the music and then both of them drank it like a thirsty person on a desert.

Sasuke: Dude, the taste is horrible but the effect is great.

Naruto: You know it.

Dancing & singing music all night which made Team Minato think they got good voice even though they couldn't see what was going on inside the house. They hoped at least they are having fun.

It was the best night for Naruto because high alone is not as fun as being high with a friend. They partied like no tomorrow till 3 am.
