With Hellhound's apparent demise, Mineta is in safe hands, and now he seemingly gained some "magical potential", but there is more to this than meets the eye, so in this chapter you will get to see what Mineta has in store for you readers...and what would Wiseman's minions do in this new development...

Wanting to lose his pursuer, and kill him, Hellhound waved his hand and fires several fireballs, in which Wizard managed to evade them but with a cost, as the fireballs struck the unfortunate motorists in their vehicles, causing them to explode and its passengers died senselessly, which triggered a multiple collisions as cars stopped, causing other cars behind them to bang against each other, and Wizard realized that he has to do something or more deaths would increase.
"This is bad...if this goes on...many casualties would pile up...better put a brake on his driving spree...!"
Removing the Connect Ring from his right middle finger, Wizard then replaces it with the Strike Ring, and there he toggles the Wi-Sword-Gun and assumes gun mode, in which a huge hand symbol is shown at the side of the gun, and he opens it, where the gun's voice spoke to initiate a command.
Wi-Sword-Gun: "COME ON AND SHOOT! SHAKE HANDS!"
Placing his left hand at the hand symbol, another magic command is about to be initiated as the ring on his left hand glowed, as well as the Wi-Sword-Gun in "gun mode".
Wi-Sword-Gun: "SHOOTING STRIKE FIRE! HII...HII...HII...HII...HII...HII...HII..."
By then, Wizard opened fire and the charged blast struck Hellhound's motorcycle and he went towards an abandoned garage where an explosion occurred, and when Wizard went there to inspect it, all he can see is the wrecked and charred motorcycle, and is relieved to see that the Phantom is apparently destroyed, thus Mineta is now safe. He then reverted back to normal and heads back to the town square to see if Mineta is still there and find out if there are other Phantoms coming after him.

Back at the park, Mineta was leaning against a wall, and is still in a state of disbelief about what he did earlier, recalling the scene where he emitted a trail of fire that struck a Ghoul, which caused the Ghoul to stagger back. The young boy glanced at his finger and pointed it at the opposite direction and chanted a "spell" to see if he is not seeing things or if he really possesses "magic".
"Chi-pui-pui!"
A trail of flame came out from his fingertip and Mineta saw it, and realized that he is not seeing things, amazed that he now possesses REAL magic.
"YES! I REALLY POSSESS MAGIC! MY DREAMS AND HOPE HAVE COME TRUE! YES!"

Ch. 16: Mineta no Kōfun
As police are gathered at the road where Wizard and Hellhound earlier fought, several agents from the NSA's "Section-Zero" arrived and told the responding policemen to help keep onlookers out, cordoning the road, and several ambulances arrived to help the injured, while others are placing the charred corpses inside body bags and a few other volunteers used tools to cut the wreckage of the vehicles to remove corpses, and some are forced to amputate the survivors' limbs just to get them out of the crashed cars.
Many of the survivors moaned in pain due to the injuries they got.
"Oooowww…"
"It hurts…"
"Save me…"
"Help…"
"Oooowww…"
"It hurts…"
"Save me…"
"Help…"
The policemen are unaware about what really happened, while the Section-Zero agents seem to know that a Phantom caused this, though they failed to find out about the Wizard. At the opposite lane, Midoriya is riding his motorcycle, and couldn't help but feel bad seeing the scene of the carnage, yet this was out of his hand, though with Hellhound's "demise", this won't happen again.
"Hope this incident will never happen again...at least that Phantom is gone for good..."
Midoriya cruises away as he heads back to the Okomagedo Antique Shop to rest and "recharge" his mana before resuming his search for Mineta, hoping that with the Phantom's death, the young boy won't be placed in danger.

Much later, at the park, Mineta is walking along, still glancing at his finger while recalling what happened earlier, and was thrilled at the thought of how he managed to thwart a single Ghoul, and seeing that he has "magic powers", this made him more excited, and thus he decided to try and show to some crowd what he has, just like what he saw in the magic show, which would attract a lot of audiences, and the very thought further made Mineta excited, and now he has a new sense of hope.
"Yeah...this should be my first step in giving hope to people like me..."
Seeing a nearby park where some crowds are gathered, Mineta decided to head there and showcase his "feat", and use this to prove that magic existed, and hope this would make anyone notice him so as he would be "discovered", and at the same time show Midoriya that he can be his apprentice and become an "assistant wizard" who would help people in trouble. As Midoriya approached the crowd, he did not notice that a Section-Zero agent is following him, having seen the young boy use "magic" to fend off a Ghoul, and he is to see this before calling Agent Kizaki about the discovery he made.
There the agent tells Kizaki about this, in which Kizaki tells the agent to keep following Midoriya and record his activities so as to know if Midoriya poses a threat to public safety or not, which the agent nodded in acknowledgement.
"Keep an eye on the boy."
"Yes sir."
"Follow him discreetly and see what he is up to."
"Yes sir."
"And don't let him know that you're following him."
"Yes sir."
"Good. Go."
"Yes sir."
After that, the agent began to discreetly follow Midoriya as he is now under orders to witness what activities the teen boy is involved in.

The scene later shifts to the Omokagedo Antique Shop, where Wajima is about to craft a magic ring while at the same time glancing at the crystal ball, seeing that peace is restored and that Midoriya had defeated Hellhound, ending the problem though he was unable to locate Mineta's location given that he was focused on the making a new magic ring.
By then, Midoriya and Makoto arrived, and the two are now getting acquainted and getting along, and Wajima is surprised to see the detective, wondering why she came back. There Midoriya and Makoto are talking as the two now share a common ground in protecting the innocents against the Phantoms and their attacks against the "Gates", and the two are now willing to help each other out, such as exchanging phone numbers and information on Phantom-related cases.
"So...how did it go, Izuku?"
"Quite well...though that phantom did use murderous means just to make me lose him..."
"I see...but it's not your fault...and the phantom...?"
"Taken cared of..."
"And the Gate?"
"He's fine..."
"Good to hear it...say...let's give each other out contact number...that way we can stay in touch...and offer each other information on phantom-related cases... "
"Sounds fine..."
Wajima smiled as Midoriya has found a new ally as this would assure that Midoriya won't have to carry the burden of fighting the Phantoms all by himself, and believe that this is better with Midoriya accepting some support, as this points out that after all that has happened, Makoto now has a new sense of hope after recovering from despair, and after a few minutes of getting acquainted, both Midoriya and Makoto decided to leave, with the detective going back to the police station while the teen goes out to find Mineta to see if he is okay. As the two left, Wajima notices a bag of doughnuts left on the sofa and tries to take one, but is dismayed that it was empty.
"Wahhh...nothing left...!"

At an abandoned garage, Medusa, in her human guise, sat on a couch as Phoenix, in his human guise, thrashes anything he sees, pissed off that Midoriya has thwarted their plans on spawning a Phantom and Hellhound's apparent death, and he is now really mad at the turn of events, and is now wanting to vent his frustrations out on Midoriya once he gets the chance to do so, yet Medusa seemed to be calm despite the tantrum her comrade is throwing.
"Damn that Hellhound!"
"You sound like you're infuriated..."
"Isn't it obvious?!"
"Well..."
"We failed to spawn a new Phantom!"
"..."
"And he couldn't even stand up to one puny human-wielding magic! He's really useless!"
"I wouldn't call him "useless" just yet..."
"Eh?"
Phoenix is baffled at Medusa's comments in regards to defending Hellhound, and there a sinister laughter is heard around, as Phoenix looked around, Medusa smirked, just as Hellhound appeared from behind the other male Phantom, and Phoenix is surprised to see Hellhound, and there it is shown that the Phantom has survived the Wizard's attacks, and Phoenix began to "compliment" his comrade to save face and spare any embarrassing remarks from Medusa.
"Thank you for the compliments, mistress Medusa..."
"Eh? You're alive?"
"Of course..."
"Ah...ha-ha-ha! Impressive!"
"Really...?"
"Of course! I knew it from the start! Am I right, Medusa?"
"The ring-bearing wizard thinks I'm dead...because of my abilities..."
"Neat trick!"
Hellhound reveals that aside from possessing pyrokinesis, he also has the ability to blend within the shadows, and Phoenix "compliments" him again, and there Medusa asked how things are going as far as the "Gate" is concerned, and there Hellhound gave his reply.
"Good. At least you gave that wizard a slip."
"Hey, Medusa! let's change the topic a bit...!"
"I believe Phoenix is right. How are things going, Hellhound?"
"Excuse me?"
"The Gate...what has become of him? You still haven't..."
"That has been taken cared of. I have already sowed the seeds...you will have your results by tomorrow, which by then a new Digimon would be sired."
"Good to hear. I will expect that by then."
"Make sure that the idiotic wizard doesn't show up. You hear?"
"Yes, sir...mistress..."
Medusa smirked seeing that their current mission is making progress and hoped that a new Phantom would be spawned by tomorrow.

Hope you like this chapter, even though it focused much on Mineta and his status for being an apparent "wizard", though it did show Midoriya getting some screen time before he hits the road to find the kid. While this chapter lacked some action scenes, the character development makes up for it before the story comes under way.
Speaking of Mineta, the youngster now possess magic, and what would Midoriya's reaction be if he sees this? Will he be forced to accept him as an apprentice? Will there be two "wizards" defending Musutafu?
And surprise! Hellhound is alive, and it shows that he used trickery to fake his death, and what does he meant about "sowed the seeds"? What diabolical plan does he have up his sleeve? Does this affect Mineta some way? The upcoming chapters will answer that

The next chapter will show Mineta doing a "magic show", and Midoriya confronts him, in which this would set the encounter on whether Midoriya would see if Mineta has become a "wizard" or not...
