Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here the current story arc continue, where a new victim is being targeted, and of course, Izuku will be there to "save the day", as he always does.
Moreover, this arc will FOCUS on Eri herself as you get to see something about her that you wouldn't expect, and how this would affect Izuku in battle, in and and out.

However, Ritsu stormed off before the other girls could stop her, and Mio felt that maybe Ritsu got stressed and needs to cool off, assuring the others that she will come back and be ready to resume the practice though Yui and Azusa are a little worried about this, since they are in Misutafu and Ritsu might get lost on her way out and way back., but then they heard screams and the girls rush out of the studio room to find out why, and there they saw Ritsu being stalked by the Phantom, Catsith, and the drummer appeared terrified at what she just saw.
"Hello..."
"GGAAAHHH! MONSTER!"
"Looks like your drumming is your hope...and if I cut off your hands...that'll make you despair..."
"Aaahhh..."
"Come here, my little pretty..."
"..."
"Boo!"
"EEEKKK!"
Ritsu began to ran for her life as the Phantom went after her, and the chase leads her out to the streets and despite her running for several minutes, Catsith managed to catch her and corners her, threatening to cut her hands seeing that her drumming skills is what gave her hope in making to the competition and tries to make her terrified in to going to despair, but his action was interrupted by the arrival of Izuku, using the Wi-Sword-Gun to fire bullets that sends the Phantom staggering back, while Makoto arrived in a police car and tells Ritsu to hop on, which she did so, and this leaves Midoriya and the Phantom alone, in which he prepares to take the fight on his opponent.
"Hey! That's my catch!"
"Sorry...you're better off catching mice..."
"You killjoy! I wanted to get this over with so I can go home!"
"What a coincidence...I'm feeling the same way too..."
"Who are you?"
"A magician to skin your hairball..."
"Magician...? Ah! You're that ring-bearing wizard!"
"At your service..."
Catsith then made it known that he will go after Ritsu, but Midoriya wouldn't stand by and let this happen, so he braces himself to fight the Phantom as he then places his right hand in front of his belt that has a hand symbol, which the DRIVER Ring glowed and for the belt, which is the Wizardriver, spoke to confirm the magical command.
Wizardriver: "DRIVER ON…PLEASE…"
Soon the Wizardriver appeared as a magical, metallic belt and Midoriya puts on a magic ring on his left middle finger then places it in front of the Wizardriver to begin his transformation.

Wizardriver: "FLAME…PLEASE…HII-HII…HII-HII-HII…"
A magical circle appeared on the left side of Midoriya's body and slowly went towards the right, enveloping the teen and now he is encased in black armor with red ruby-like ornament-like armor, which included his helmet, along and with a black robe, and there he is now in his jewel-armored form known simply as the "Wizard", and Catsith can sense the power emanating from both Midoriya's magical abilities and the inner Phantom coming from deep within the teen's body.
"Aw man...! Just let me go after the Gate and I'll leave you alone...isn't that too much to ask?"
"Sa...SHOWTIME da!"

Ch. 22: Mahotsukai to Neko
Seeing that he wanted to get this over with so he can go after Ritsu and make her despair, Catsith then turned his forearms into a pair of swords and went after Wizard, in which the armored teen responded by dodging the attacks, and when he sees an opening, retaliates with some punch and kicks, managing to stagger his opponent back but then the Phantom also sees an opening and strikes back using his swords, dishing a few but major blows which sent the "ring-bearing Wizard" reeling and there the teen decided to counter his opponent with something to give him an edge.
"Looks like you're better off going after a mouse…"
"Just get out of my way and let me go after the "Digi-Gate"...I want to go home after this...please…"
"Actually…I can't…"
"Aw man...you're making my life harder!"
"Too bad I will foil your plans…"
"Just stop blocking me for goodness sake…"
"I wouldn't count on that…"
"Ahhh! Just let me through already!"
Wizard then removes the Driver Ring from his right middle finger and then replaces it with another ring, which turns out to be the "Connect Ring" and there he places his right hand in front of the Wizardriver and the magical belt's voice spoke to confirm the spell's activation.
Wizardriver: "CONNECT...PLEASE..."
A red magical circle appeared and Wizard placed his hand inside to get something and out came his weapon - the Wi-Sword Gun and there he fired several shots which Catsith blocked them at first but the impact sent the Phantom staggering back, yet the monster wouldn't yield and went forth, delivering several sword strikes that send the Wizard reeling back, and there the armored teen toggled with his weapon, converting it to "sword mode" and the two combatants engaged in a sword fight which appeared even.
"Hah! How do you like that? You're really a handful…"
"Thanks for the compliment…"
"Too bad it will do you no good…I'm going after that "Gate" and go home!"
"I doubt that will happen…"
"And what made you say that?"
"I will foil your plans and defeat every last Phantom in Japan!"
"Aw, come on! Give me a break and let me make her despair!"
"Come and try it!"
When Wizard managed to deliver more of sword strikes, Catsith backed away and moved forward, and began to use his speed to catch the wizard to strike the Wizard, and the armored teen narrowly dodged them but is caught and struck down, prompting him to change tactics and removes the Flame Ring, then places the Aqua Ring on his left middle finger before placing it in front of the Wizardriver to assume Aqua Styles.
Wizardriver: "AQUA...PLEASE...SUI-SUI-SUI-SUI..."
As Catsith continues to attack using his speed, this prompts Wizard in to removing the "Connect Ring" and then placing the "Liquid Ring", and now places his hand in front of the Wizardriver.
"Better match his speed with mine…!"
Wizardriver: "LIQUID...PLEASE..."
A blue magical circle appeared and is enhanced with the element of water and turns the wizard's body into a mass of water-like body, which then deflects Catsith's physical attacks, and the Phantom stared in confusion in seeing his attacks phasing through in front of his eyes while the battle resumed as the two combatants clashed swords again and now the fight became more heated as neither one are yielding to one another though the Phantom was momentarily pinned down and is forced to use spikes from his body to goad the Wizard in to releasing him.
"Ha-ha-ha!"
"Oooof! This is not good…!"
"Now you leave me alone and let me make that girl despair!"
"I wouldn't let you do that…"
"Come on! Please...?"
"Sorry…"
"Aw..."
"Wizards are too stubborn to give up!"
Although Wizard goes on the offensive and briefly regains the upper hand, the Phantom quickly rebounded and regained control of the fight, and the battle went back and forth with neither one getting the most upper hand, and there the "ring-bearing Wizard" realized that this can't go on longer given the limited amount of "mana" he has at this time as prolonging the fight is out of the question.
"Better wrap this up…!"
Needing a breather, Wizard converts the Wi-Sword Gun back to "gun mode" and fired several rounds, managing to shoot down and have the Phantom reeling back and there he took the chance to replace the Defend Ring with another magic ring, which is the "Bind Ring" and then places his right hand in front of the Wizardriver to activate the next spell of attack.
Wizardriver: "BIND...PLEASE..."
A blue, watery magical circle appeared beneath the Digimon and liquid-enhanced chains came out, tying and holding Catsith in place, and there Wizard took the chance to replace the Bind Ring with another magic ring, which is the "Big Ring" and then places his right hand in front of the Wizardriver to activate the next spell of attack.
Wizardriver: "BIG...PLEASE..."
A red magical circle appeared and Wizard places his hand inside and at the other end of the magical circle, Wizard's hand was "enlarged" and uses it to plant a BIG BLOW that struck Catsith, and the impact is enough to send the Phantom colliding against a nearby one-story building and he is covered in debris, and when Wizard checks to see if the Phantom is defeated, he finds out that the Phantom is still there, but Catsith sagged and stated that he is leaving, which the wizard is assuming that the Phantom willingly fled, and for him, this is enough for the time being as it would keep the Phantom away from the would-be victim.
"Okay...at least I can check on the "Gate"..."
After that, Wizard leaves the scene to check on the "Gate" to see if she is safe, while at the same time find out what her hope is so that he can protect her from the Phantom knowing that he would come back to make her despair.

Much later, Catsith returned to the scrapyard where he usually hangs out, and he is not pleased that the assignment assigned to him ended in failure, and while he wanted to finish this so he can go home, his laid-back attitude, coupled by his lazy attitude, prevailed and decided to take a nap as he wanted to spend time sleeping, and as he is about to climb over an abandoned car, Phoenix, who is there the whole time, showed up which surprised Catsith.
"So...finished already?"
"Ah! You...!"
"So...how did it go?"
"..."
"You failed?"
"That wizard showed up!"
"And now you're giving up because of that?"
"Well..."
Phoenix is a bit peeved when told that Midoriya interfered, yet Medusa showed up and told him to continue with the job, which he tries to talk his way out but her glare puts the lazy Phantom in place, and there she told him to try approaching the "Gate" by disguising as a human, which Catsith reluctantly did and left. Phoenix then tells Medusa that Catsith might slack off again but she tells him that she will make sure that he doesn't, and then she leaves immediately.

Hope you like this chapter, As the ring-bearing Wizard and the Phantom fight over the victim of this arc, and though the day is saved for now, expect more battles to pop up as Catsith is forced to continue the job...
