Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here the current story arc continue, where the focus at this time would be around Eri…whilst Midoriya is searching for the Phantom…

Back at the junkyard, Catsith is sitting on top of a junked car as he is bewailing that his supposed assignment was harder than he thought, and really felt that he shouldn't have accepted it and this made him ponder if he should talk directly to Wiseman and petition to have someone else do the job, so that he can leave and return to his LAZY LIFE.
However, Medusa showed up and glared, causing the junked car he is sitting on to explode and Catsith was thrown upward before landing HARD on the ground, whilst Phoenix just stood there snickering as he told him that Medusa is someone not to piss off with, and reminded him that his job isn't finished yet although Catsith tried to complain.
"But I can't!"
"Why not?"
"That wizard is foiling me!"
"Then kick his ass off."
"I tried! But he's problematic!"
"So you're going to quit"
"I'm thinking about it…"
"Say what?"
But Medusa glared once more causing two junked cars beside him to explode and the impact sent Catsith forward and landed face-first to the ground right in front of Medusa, and she told him not to slack off but he told her that he couldn't as long as the Wizard is foiling his attempts, but she told him not to make excuses and ordered him to continue to make the Gate despair no matter what the costs, and threatened to kill Catsith if he makes another complain.
"No! Don't kill me!"
"Then give me a reason why I shouldn't…"
"I'll do anything! Just don't kill me!"
"Then go find the Gate. Make her despair."
"I tried! But the Wizard's problematic!"
"Want me to kill you?"
"No! Please don't!"
"Then get going."
Terrified, Catsith nodded and ran off, and as Medusa Is glaring at Catsith for being lazy, Phoenix offered to step in and deal with the Wizard, which she decline and said that there is no need just yet and she will deal with him if the Wizard attempt to get in the way again, which didn't pleased Phoenix.
"Huh? Why not?"
"Wiseman said that now is not the time."
"But…"
"We will wait for his approval. Until then you shall not do anything."
"Oh come on."
"That is Wiseman's orders."
"…"
"…"

Ch. 24: Mede~yūsa no akui
Several minutes later, the scene shifts at a park where Ritsu is being debriefed by Izumi about the situation she is in, while Mineta looked around to see if Catsith is lurking by, as he is a bit worried that he got away and may come back again and try to attack, as he is able to tell that Ritsu is a GATE and the Phantom intend to make him despair and turn into a Phantom.
Meanwhile, Ritsu yawned as she is walking while listening to Eri, and she refused to believe that she is targeted by a Phantom, and did not like the idea of being put on a 24-hour surveillance, saying she does not like BABYSITTERS, but Makoto tried to convince her that her life is in danger and that she cannot go around freely until the threat has been taken care of.
"You must understand…"
"I don't."
"What?"
"I'm 17 years old…I'm WAY TOO OLD to have a babysitter…"
"I'm not kidding here!"
"So am I. come back again when Halloween's over."
"Look, I…"
"See you."
As Ritsu walked off, an irate Eri followed her and told the aspiring drummer not to take things lightly as she narrowly escaped with her life, and Mineta is following them, wondering if he should call Midoriya as he is worried that there might be other Phantoms lurking by, and as he tried to follow, Eri told him to go home, which he said he couldn't do that.
"Don't follow us."
"Eh…?"
"Just go home."
"But…"
"There's no need for you to get involved."
"But…but…"
"You'll just get in the way. Go home now."
"W-wait…wait…"
As the trio stormed off, Medusa and Phoenix watches on and she is staring at Eri, as she is intrigued that a mere human is able to see through a Phantom's disguise, though Phoenix is baffled as to why Medusa is fixated at Eri, wondering if the little girl is a Gate, and he asked Medusa if she found another Gate, but he is told to stay here and not cause a ruckus no matter what.
He asked why, saying that he can help, but Medusa sternly told him not to do anything right now as she wanted to make sure that Catsith succeed, and to make sure no one else interfere and attract the Wizard's attention.
"Huh? Why not?"
"We must ensure that Catsith succeed. And as i said before…now is not the time for you to strike."
"But…"
"Wiseman said it is not the time yet. We will wait for his approval. Until then you shall not do anything."
"Oh come on."
"That is Wiseman's orders."
"…"
"…"
Phoenix sighed as Medusa left, and he wished that there is something he could do and not get her approval as she always does, as he really wanted to fight Midoriya, itching for some action and see how strong the Wizard is.

Meanwhile, at the Donut Hungry van, the gay Donut Shop manager attempted to offer Midoriya his latest donuts that has assorted flavors, and Makoto chose one which pleases him, and gave her the order after receiving the payment, and said that Makoto really appreciate his work, which she just nodded as she is focused on how to provide protection for Ritsu.
"Oh…thank you."
"Its okay."
"I'm glad you appreciate my craft…"
"Oh, it's nothing. Your donuts are good."
"Oh…thank you for the praise…!"
"You're welcome."
"Ah-ha-ha…"
"…"
The gay manager then approached Midoriya and offered the same flavors, only to sag and fell to the ground (anime-style) after being told that Midoriya would only order plain sugar donuts, and he wailed to his assistant and asked what went wrong, only to be told that other customers are ordering his MASTERPIECE while Midoriya is only interested in plain sugar donuts.
"Now, now…it's okay, boss…"
"Wwwaaahhh~h…"
"Don't be sad…"
"Wwwaaahhh~h…"
"There are others who buy your donuts…"
"Wwwaaahhh~h…"
"Don't cry…"
"Wwwaaahhh~h…"
Meanwhile, Midoriya's phone rang and he answered it, where a panicking Mineta said that a woman is confronting Eri and said that he suspected that the woman confronting Eri at the park is a Phantom, which made Midoriya reacted in worry, as he knows that Eri has no means of protecting herself from phantoms.
"What?"
"A woman showed up…and I think she's a Phantom!"
"Oh damn it…"
"Midoriya!"
"Where are you, Mineta?"
"At a park not far from the main road!"
"I'm on my way!"
"Please hurry!"
Makoto then asked Midoriya what is wrong, only to become worried after being told, and said that they better head there in order to save Eri and stop this other Phantom, which Midoriya nodded.
"Then we got to hurry, Izuku!"
"Yeah…"
"Do you know where?"
"I do."
"Okay…we'll use the car I am using…"
"Then we better hurry…"
"Lets go!"
"Okay."

Back at the park, Ritsu and Eri were confronted by Medusa, who is currently in her human guise,. Glaring straight at Eri, and while Ritsu is baffled by what is going on, she panicked when Eri sensed that Medusa is a Phantom, which proved true when Medusa revealed her Phantom form, and Eri told Ritsu to run, which the latter did.
Then a passing police car passed by and saw what is happening, and thinking it was just a maniac in cosplay, the two cops got off the police car and drew their guns and aimed at Medusa, telling her to surrender and is under arrest for public scandal, though Medusa wasn't fazed as she unleashed her snake-themed tentacles and wrapped them around the two cops before lifting them.
She then proceeded to incinerate them via her tentacles and the two cops screamed as they were being burned to death.
"AAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEEE!"
"GGGGGGGYYYYAAAAHHHHH!"
