Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here things are escalating following what happened from the previous chapter…where the next culprit would show up before something unexpected would make an entrance…

After the Leprechaun Phantom is defeated, a tense Stand-Off ensued as Midoriya and Lady Nagant are facing off, but Midoriya undo his transformation, which made her feel suspicious as she aimed her weapon at the younger boy while he slowly approached her, which made her feel uneasy as she threatened to shoot if he comes closer, but Midoriya wasn't fazed and managed to get close, and gently held her arm and made her lower her weapon.

He told her that there is nothing to fight for and tells her that she was manipulated by the Phantom into doing this, and this made Lady Nagant feel emotionally agitated as she ranted that this world is full of lies.

"So you're saying that I've been tricked?"

"Well…"

"Damn it! This country is full of liars!"

"Then tell me…I'll listen…"

"And you think it would make a difference?"

"Who knows…"

"Fine!"

"…"

Midoriya listened before managing to calm her down and asked why she attacked him a while ago, where she reluctantly revealed that Rokuweru worked at the Hero Public Safety Commission and arranged for her to be released in exchange for a certain mission, which also includes getting her name cleared so that she can be reintegrated into society after several years of being imprisoned.

There she reluctantly told her what happened to her that led to her being imprisoned, and a sympathetic Midoriya is wondering how to help her in getting the truth out and help her restore her faith in society, and he decided to offer to help her in exposing what happened here, though she appeared to be hopeless as she said that no one would believe that a high-ranking member of the Hero Public Safety Commission is a Phantom.

"And you think that would work?"

"Maybe…I'll come up with something…"

"Do you realize the situation you're in?"

"Yes."

"…"

"I'll do what I can to help you…"

"You…wait…how…?"

"?"

She then asked Midoriya how and why he has such a Quirk, and he told her the truth, surprising her upon learning his backstory and how he survived the ritual and is tasked in hunting down and defeating Phantoms wherever he goes, as this also means that he would forego three years of high school.

"What…?"

"…"

"You were born Quirkless but recently got magic after surviving a ritual…?"

"Yes."

"How…?"

"…"

"Just what are you, shounen…?"

"…"

Suddenly, several SUVs arrived and several SWAT members came out, all armed with high-powered weapons, and they aimed them at Lady Nagant, telling her to surrender or be taken down, as it is revealed that Rokuweru, aka the Leprechaun Phantom, faked Lady Nagant's release, where he made it appear that she killed several guards in order to escape so as to give authorities an excuse to kill her off without realizing that they were being manipulated.

Lady Nagant was starting to lose faith as she is getting more and more disillusioned, but Midoriya stood in front of her and told the SWAT members that she was tricked into coming here, but the SWAT members fired a warning shot and told him to stand down, as it turns out that the Leprechaun Phantom, under Rokuweru's disguise, made it appear that Midoriya is Lady Nagant's accomplice, hence giving a deceived reason for the SWAT members to shoot the boy down without knowing that they were tricked by the Phantom.

"Surrender!"

Lady Nagant is starting to get agitated and is ready to fight it out, but Midoriya persuaded her to calm down, saying that all is not lost as he will offer to explain to them what really happened, yet she warned that if the authorities were to find out about his ACQUIRED ABILITIES they would do INHUMANE methods to acquire it and even make Midoriya their SECRET ASSASSIN, and urged him to leave, yet Midoriya refuses to leave her alone at a time like this.

"I'm not leaving you!"

"But…"

"I'll see what I can do."

"Listen, kid…that Rokuweru tricked everyone, so no one would believe you…"

"There is still hope!"

"How so?"

"Believe in me!"

"…"

While some SWAT members noticed that Midoriya is trying to calm Lady Nagant down, they began to wonder if Midoriya is really a threat as the younger boy appeared to be unarmed and not doing something that endangered the public, but some of the other SWAT members began to open fire, almost hitting the two, which prompted the other SWAT members to ask why are they shooting the two as they are not trying to escape.

The SWAT members who tried to shoot down Midoriya and Lady Nagant reiterated that they have their orders, which are to shoot down. Midoriya and Lady Nagant on sight, and that order must be complied no matter what, causing a division between the SWAT members.

"We have our orders!"

"We are to shoot those two on sight!"

"They are deemed armed and dangerous!"

"And we are permitted to take them down!"

"Look at them!"

"That boy is trying to calm Lady Nagant down!"

"And they are not trying to escape!"

"Lets give them a chance to surrender!"

Midoriya stood in front of Lady Nagant and told the SWAT members to stop, reiterating that Lady Nagant was set upped and made it appear that she escaped but was tricked by someone from the Hero Public Safety Commission hence, Nagant walked freely from Tartarus without realizing that everything was a set-up, surprising Nagant at seeing that Midoriya is willing to vouch for him.

However, one of the SWAT members opened fire, hitting Midoriya on his right shoulder, causing him to fall to the ground, injured and bleeding, shocking Nagant as she checked on the younger boy, appalled by the SWAT members' despicable actions.

The other SWAT members were surprised by this and in a surprising twist of events, the other SWAT members confronted their fellow SWAT members and aimed their weapons at them and demanded an explanation on why they shot an unarmed boy, who is clearly not a threat, but the SWAT members reiterated that they have their orders and they must obey them no matter what the circumstances are.

"You already know that we have our orders!"

"We are to shoot those two on sight! Whether they are armed or not…shoot on sight regardless!"

"They are deemed armed and dangerous!"

"And we are permitted to take them down! We are told to disregard human rights! Shoot now, ask later!"

"You idiots! Just look at them!"

"That boy is trying to calm Lady Nagant down!"

"And they are not trying to escape!"

"Lets give them a benefit of a doubt…then give them a chance to surrender!"

Ch. 28: Akuma-tekina sukīmu

At the Omokagedo Antique Store the scene shows where Eri was staring at the crystal ball and Mineta took a glance, where he freaked out upon seeing the image of Midoriya getting shot by the SWAT members, and he told Wajima about it and said that they need to call the police, which Wajima said that the SWAT members are members of the police, and he commented that Midoriya is in deep trouble, which made Mineta freak out in panic.

"Huh?"

"Yeah…Midoriya's in a tight spot right now…"

"No way!"

"Well…yeah…"

"We got to do something!"

"I wish there is a way…"

"Come on! We got to think of something!?"

"Easy…!"

As Wajima tried to calm Mineta down, Eri glanced at the crystal ball as she watched the trail of events, and there she saw someone showed up, which Wajima deduces that the person who appeared is the leader of the SWAT team, and there he is seen ordering the SWAT members to shoot down Midoriya and Lady Nagant, which Mineta shook Wajima and told him to do something.

Wajima shook Mineta back saying that there's nothing he could do given that Midoriya's location is far from here and that this is the police they are talking about, hence it is out of their hands and Midoriya would have to fight his way out of this situation.

"Huh? So we can't do anything now?"

"Yeah…Midoriya's in a tight spot right now…and think about it…we're far from Izuku's current location…we can't…"

"No way! Midoriya is going to get killed!"

"Well…yeah…"

"We got to do something!"

"I wish there is a way…but as you can see…"

"Come on! We got to think of something!?"

"Easy…! Stop shaking me!"

The two stopped their bickering as they noticed Eri staring at the crystal ball in utter shock, and there she grabbed the smartphone to try calling Midoriya, and as Wajima asked what is wrong, Eri told him that a Phantom is there, baffling him as he and Mineta glanced at the crystal ball and sees nothing but the SWAT team and its team leader.

But Eri said that she saw him on the crystal ball which Wajima became more baffled, and as Mineta glanced at the crystal ball, he sees nothing but the SWAT members and their leader, but then he had a bad feeling about this and asked Eri if the one shown is the Phantom in disguise which she nodded, shocking Mineta and Wajima.

"Huh?"

"Yeah…a Phantom is there right now…"

"No way!"

"Well…yeah…"

"We got to do something! Wajima! Let's go and…"

"We can't! It's too far and…"

"Come on! We got to think of something!?"

"Easy…!"

Back at the scene, the leader of the SWAT team showed up and smugly ordered the SWAT members to shoot Midoriya and Lady Nagant on sight, which the others willingly complied but others protested, saying that Midoriya is unarmed and wounded, but the SWAT leader sternly ordered the SWAT members to shoot Midoriya, which the other SWAT members obediently nodded in acknowledgement.

"Yes sir!"

As Lady Nagant is glaring at the SWAT members, Midoriya's smartphone rang, and as he wobbly answered it, he was startled as Eri frantically called him, saying that a Phantom is one of the SWAT members, and told him to get out of there as he is too wounded to fight back at this time, baffling Midoriya as Lady Nagant looks on, listening to the conversation, and she noted that the caller is clearly a child.

"A…Phantom…?"

"Yes!"

"Here...?"

"He's right in front of you!"

"Eh…?"

"You got to get out of there!"

"But…"

"Please, Izuku!"

However, the SWAT leader shoots the smartphone and struck Midoriya's hand, further injuring him in the process, and there he ordered the SWAT members to shoot Midoriya and Lady Nagant immediately, which the SWAT members nodded in obedience, but the other SWAT members began aiming their weapons at the SWAT leader, saying that he is out of line and said that he is relieved of his command and will contact headquarters.

However, the SWAT leader smirked and stared at the SWAT members, and the SWAT members who tried to defend Midoriya appeared to fall into a trance and there the SWAT members stood still as the SWAT leader ordered the SWAT members to shoot down Midoriya and Lady Nagant immediately, which the now-mesmerized SWAT members nodded in obedience.

"Yes sir!"

Lady Nagant was appalled by this and instinctively uses her Quirk and shoots the SWAT leader on his face, but to her shock his face just SMOKED and no blood came out, and there the SWAT leader just stood there before changing its appearance, where he is revealed to be a Phantom, who resembled that of a humanoid scorpion.

He turns out to be the Aqrabuamelu Phantom, and there he tells Nagant that it is useless as he grabbed her by her neck and held her for several seconds before letting her go, and she slumped to the ground as CRACKS appeared on her body, where Midoriya realized that she is forcibly being induced into despair and the Aqrabuamelu Phantom waves his hand as the SWAT members shoots Midoriya on his arms and legs, further injuring and disabling him as he screamed out in pain.

The Aqrabuamelu Phantom and ordered the mesmerized SWAT members to keep it up, which they mindlessly obeyed him.

"Yes sir!"

The Aqrabuamelu Phantom laughed diabolically as he taunted Midoriya that he will fail and fall into despair once Lady Nagant dies and a Phantom would be spawned, and there he ordered the SWAT members to further torment Midoriya, which they nodded obediently as they remained under his control, and further shoots Midoriya on his arms and legs before shooting both his shoulders, further causing Midoriya to scream in pain.

The Aqrabuamelu Phantom laughed loudly and told the mesmerized SWAT members to continue shooting Midoriya until his arms and legs are severed, which the SWAT members nodded in obedience, as they have no control over their thoughts and mindlessly obeyed him due to being under the mental control of the Aqrabuamelu Phantom.

"Yes sir!"

However, something unexpected took place as someone happened to pass by, which a person, a young man who appeared to be 20 years old, in which he is described as a slim young man with a rather plain appearance, possessing smooth, short brown hair and large, round brown eyes.

His attire consists of normal clothes in conjunction with one of his many All Might-haired hooded jackets. He also sports some motorcycle protective gear such as gloves and boots.

This person is identified as Koichi Haimawari, and there he saw Midoriya all bloodied on his arms, legs and shoulders, whilst seeing the SWAT members aiming their guns at him as the Aqrabuamelu Phantom stared at the young man, though Midoriya feared for the stranger's safety and told Haimawari to get away from the Phantom, but this somewhat piqued Haimawari's curiosity, much to the Aqrabuamelu Phantom's bafflement seeing that Haimawari wasn't terrified.

"Hurry! Get away from here!"

"Huh?"

"That guy's a Phantom! You can't beat him!"

"Did you say a Phantom?"

"Don't argue! Just go!"

"A Phantom, huh…?"

"Hurry!"

"Looks like this is my lucky day…"

As the Aqrabuamelu Phantom laughed and decided to make Midoriya despair by having him witnesses another death of a civilian alongside the dying Lady Nagant, Haimawari then dropped his backpack and opened the zipper of his jacket, in which a strange-looking belt is seen attached to his waist, and then took out something from his left pocket before inserting it on his left middle finger. It appeared to be a magic ring, but the design is different as it has properties that resembled a key.

As the Aqrabuamelu Phantom decided to go after Haimawari, the latter made his move as he began to waved his arms and hands in a circular motion before his left hand, in a closed fist, makes contact on the left side of the belt, identified as the Beast-Driver, in which his ring, having an emblem of a lion, entering the Beast-Driver's left slot and turned it in a key ignition-like twist, which the belt's "doors" opened and his "magical transformation" is initialized.

Beast-Driver: "SET...OPEN! L-I-O-N...LION!"

A pentagram-shaped magical circle appeared after the Beast-Driver's "doors" opened and slowly went forward, pushing the Aqrabuamelu Phantom back before it stopped and went towards Haimawari, enveloping him and now the young man is enveloped in black armor, while his outer armor is gold with designs and crest of a lion, especially his helmet, and he is now transformed into what appeared to be another armored wizard.

Midoriya stared wide-eyed at seeing this as he had no idea that another wizard is here as all he knows that the other wizard around is the White Wizard, and there the Aqrabuamelu Phantom got up and expressed shock as he did not expect that there is another wizard, and demanded an explanation from Haimawari, who coolly introduced himself.

"What is this…?"

"Heh-heh..."

"You're a wizard too?"

"Looks like it…"

"How did this happen?"

"Don't know…don't care. Now you're going to find out what happens when you try to mess with this ancient wizard…"

"What did you say?"

"Now then…"

Koichi Haimawari did a cool-looking pose before making his introduction, identifying himself as Kamen Rider Beast – who dubbed himself as the "Ancient Wizard", and there he is ready to take the fight and declared that the Aqrabuamelu Phantom would be on his MAIN DISH.

Hope you liked this chapter, and while there's not much action other than another Phantom reveal, drama dominated most of this chapter and Midoriya is in a tough spot…until an unexpected turn of events took place, as a main character from the spin-off manga My Hero Academia: Vigilantes appeared, and he is shown that he is another magic-based Kamen Rider.

Yup, Koichi Haimawari shows up and now he is portrayed as the secondary character in this fic.
