Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here things are escalating following what happened from the previous chapter…where the battle against the Aqrabuamelu Phantom reaches its climax…

At the hideout of the Phantoms, Phoenix is in a state of disbelief upon hearing that another wizard appeared and defeated the Aqrabuamelu Phantom, even though Midoriya was incapacitated, and this made Phoenix very livid and wanted to find this other wizard yet Medusa told him to stay his hand as she would get Wiseman's permission first as only he can give the word on whether to pursue this ancient wizard or not.
"You heard me. We must first seek Wiseman's permission first before you go on your own."
"Huh? So you're saying we should just sit down while we let two magical clowns run amuck and ruin everything?"
"We will wait for Wiseman's approval first. His word is law."
"Oh come on!"
"You heard me, Phoenix. You will not do anything unless given instructions from Wiseman."
"Damn it!"
"That's how it is. Deal with it."
"Hmph."
By then Wiseman appeared and urged Phoenix to calm down, saying that he heard of what happened and that he is looking into this situation and assured to Phoenix that he would get a shot against this target if the situation calls for it, which Phoenix isn't pleased, yet he willingly took Wiseman's word for it in the meantime.
"You heard me, Phoenix. Unless the circumstances shifts to our favor…you will behave."
"Eh? But that guy who…"
"I will gather information about this other wizard…for now you should calm down."
"…"
"I promise you will get to test this other wizard when the situation calls for it."
"Fine."
"Good."
"Hmph."
Wiseman then told Medusa to continue looking for Gates and reminded her of what is needed, which she nodded in acknowledgement, assuring him that she would do the task assigned to her and will accomplish it without fail, which Wiseman nodded and told her and Phoenix not to fail him, which the two Phantoms nodded in acknowledgement.
"Now do what you are tasked to do."
"Yes sir."
"Yes sir."
"Find Gates and make them spawn into Phantoms."
"Yes sir."
"Yes sir."
"We must do this to bring forth the Sabbath…and we cannot delay it. Understood?"
"Yes sir."
"Yes sir."
After that, Wiseman left, and Phoenix urged Medusa to let him go and find Haimawari, saying that he wanted to see if this ancient wizard is really a problem though she reminded him of what Wiseman just said a while ago, and Phoenix sighed in annoyance as he would have to wait for Wiseman's approval before he could go and find Haimawari.
"You heard what Wiseman said. We must find more Gates and make them despair so that more Phantoms would be born…right before you go on your own."
"Oh, come on! So we're going to do the usual while we let two magical clowns run amuck and ruin everything?"
"Wiseman said that he will deal with them. Obey him. His word is law."
"Oh come on!"
"You heard me, Phoenix. You will not do anything unless given instructions from Wiseman."
"Damn it!"
"That's how it is. Deal with it."
"Hmph."

Ch. 30: Mahō ishi to atarashī yubiwa part 1
A few days later, the scene shifts at the Omokagedo Antique Store, where you can see that Midoriya is fully recovered from his injuries and that his mana is back at full strength, and there Wajima told him that breakfast is ready and he should come down and eat, which Midoriya said that he is coming down in a few moments.
Just then, Mineta arrived and joins in, saying that he wanted to taste Wajima's cooking which pleased the senior citizen and invited Mineta to join Midoriya, saying that there's enough food for everyone, and this made Mineta excited and thanked Wajima for the invitation, which flattered the ring maker, glad to hear such compliments.
"Wow!"
"You like it!"
"Yeah! It's delicious!"
"Of course!"
"Glad that I met you! You should be a chef working at a five-star hotel!"
"Oh, you flatter me too much."
"I mean it! Seriously!"
"Ha-ha-ha…"
Meanwhile Eri is glancing at the crystal ball as she is looking for any Phantom activities, and there Midoriya called her and said that breakfast is ready which she politely decline saying that for some reason she doesn't seem to rely on food and drinks, which baffled Mineta, and there Wajima told him that this has been the case ever since the White Wizard entrusted Eri to Midoriya for SAFEKEEPING.
"Huh?"
"Yup. You heard me."
"Seriously?"
"Yes."
"For real?"
"That's right."
"How?"
"Don't know…"
Suddenly, the crystal ball flashed and there a scene from the crystal ball showed that Makoto Tsukauchi is being confronted by a Phantom, who turns out to be the Faun Phantom, and right now she is using a semi-automatic gun to defend herself, but Mineta said that she won't survive since Phantoms are immune to bullets and Wajima told Midoriya to go help her.
Nodding, Midoriya leaves the antique shop and boarded his motorcycle as he sped off after getting information from Eri on which place he should go so that he can reach Makoto in time.

The scene shifts at a park where Makoto Tsukauchi is shooting at the Faun Phantom, but the bullets have no effect and yet she is determined to stay alive, and there something bothered her as she is no longer a gate yet the Phantom is after her, and she demanded to know what does he want with her, which the Faun Phantom admitted that he intentionally did this to lure Midoriya out in the open.
"What…? So I'm just a bait…?"
"That's right."
"What for? You'd gain nothing from…"
"Oh, I do."
"…"
"And if the Wizard is still injured from the last battle…and then showing up now, he'd be weak and thus easy to break."
"You…you won't get away with this!"
"I just did, bitch!"
Makoto stared wide-eyed at hearing this, and wondered if Midoriya is okay now as she hasn't heard from him for days, and as the Faun Phantom began to ram her using his goat-like horns, she narrowly evaded it and the Phantom grabbed her by her hair and is ready to harm her further when Midoriya arrived and rammed the Phantom with his motorcycle, causing him to let go of Makoto.
Transforming into Kamen Rider Wizard, Midoriya fought the Phantom but soon finds himself getting into the defensive as the Faun Phantom gets the upper hand physically due to the Phantom's physiology, as he has goat-like horns while his lower half body had a rather thick build of a goat's torso and legs.
As the Faun Phantom began hitting Wizard with a barrage of kicks and jumping kicks, he later began using his running speed to ram and gore his target, sending him crashing against a parked car, and Midoriya finds himself getting cornered, as he is beginning to incur some bodily injuries due to the attacks he received.
As he tries to get up, he saw the Faun Phantom charging towards him as he attempted to gore him once more, prompting Wizard to use his magic ring to defend himself from a possible injury.
Wizardriver: "DEFEND…PLEASE…"
A flame-type barrier magically appeared and held off the Phantom, but he persisted as he kept on ramming the barrier, which a minute later the barrier starts to crack, and Wizard realize that he need to find an opening or else he would be sent back on the injury list if he gets gored again.
As Wizard jumps to the side, the Faun Phantom gored the barrier, breaking it down and collided with the damaged parked car, but this causes his horn to get stuck, and there Wizard took the chance to defeat the Phantom once and for all, as he placed his right hand in front of the Wizardriver to evoke a strong spell.
Wizardriver: "CHOINE…SPECIAL…SAIKO!"
A magical circle appeared and a wave of fiery blast came out, enveloping the Faun Phantom as he is set ablaze and in less than 30 seconds the Phantom exploded and is defeated, which Wizard sighed in relief as he went to check on Makoto, but saw her horrified reaction as she pointed something behind him.
Turning around, he was taken by surprise as another Phantom appeared, which resembled a buffalo-like creature with shaggy fur, large horns and a thick muscular build, rammed him using his horns, and the impact sent Wizard getting thrown back, and this new Phantom began to beat and throttle the target with reckless abandon.
"Hah!"
"Uuuhhhnnfffhhh!"
"Got you!"
"Ow!"
"Looks like Faun's plan worked like a charm!"
"Aaacckkkhhh!"
"Now I can kill you so easily!"
"Wwwwaaahhh!"
The Phantom that appeared is revealed to be the Catoblepas Phantom, and he managed to injure Wizard to a degree that he is too weakened to mount a retaliation, and there the Catoblepas Phantom is ready to gore Wizard again when Koichi Haimawari coincidentally passed by, and seeing what is happening, he sensed that the Catoblepas Phantom emits a strong mana, and finds this a good opportunity and began to verbally provoke the Phantom, which made the Phantom shift his attention.
"Hey, BULL-shit!"
"Huh?"
"Over here!"
"You talking to me?"
"Who else, HORNY?"
"Are you challenging me?"
"What if I say I do?"
"Heh…are you threatening me…?"
Amused, the Catoblepas Phantom decided to target Haimawari and make a quick kill as he finds it easy to kill a human, unaware of the fact that he is facing another wizard, and there Haimawari made his move as he began to waved his arms and hands in a circular motion before his left hand, in a closed fist gesture, makes contact on the left side of the belt, which is the Beast-Driver, in which his ring, having an emblem of a lion, entering the Beast-Driver's left slot and turned it in a key ignition-like twist, which the belt's "doors" opened and a voice spoke to confirm the Beast-Driver's "magical transformation", which is now initialized.
Beast-Driver: "SET...OPEN! L-I-O-N...LION!"
A pentagram-shaped magical circle appeared after the Beast-Driver's "doors" opened and slowly went forward, knocking the Catoblepas Phantom back before it stopped and went towards the Haimawari, enveloping him and now the young man is enveloped in black armor, while his outer armor is gold with designs and crest of a lion, especially his helmet, and he is now transformed into Kamen Rider Beast.
The Catoblepas Phantom stared wide-eyed as he didn't expect that Haimawari is another wizard, and there Kamen Rider Beast tells the Phantom that he is going to be EATEN, which made the Phantom raise an eyebrow at hearing this, wondering if Beast knows what he is saying as he finds it impossible for a mere human to CONSUME a Phantom like it was nothing.
"What the…this can't…!"
"Heh-heh…!"
"So you're the one I heard!"
"Yup."
"I didn't expect that you'd be the ANCIENT wizard…"
"So I'm flattered…!"
"If that's so…then I should kill you this instant!"
"Good…you're going to be my MAIN DISH!"
As the Catoblepas Phantom is getting ready to charge, Beast surveys his opponent, and recognize that he would need to match the opponent with BRUTE FORCE, he puts on a red-colored ring on his right middle finger before entering it onto the Beast-Driver's right-side slot and turned it in a key ignition-like twist, and the Beast-Driver's voice spoke to confirm the magic spell's activation.
Beast-Driver: "BUFFA! GO…BU-BU-BU-BUFFA!"
A red-colored pentagram-shaped magical circle appeared and enveloped Beast, and though his armored appearance doesn't change, he did gain some additional design, where Instead, he uses single shoulder mantle armaments called Mantles, where he sports a rather huge armored shoulder pad with an arm-sided cape.
Since the magic ring he uses is the Buffa Ring, the right armored shoulder pad resembles the head of a buffalo which has buffalo horns while the cape itself is colored red, and there Beast charged forward as the two combatants began to try pushing one another back, and the Catoblepas Phantom is surprised to see that Beast's Buffalo Mantle roughly has the same strength as his.
"Hah!"
"Uuuhhhnnfffhhh!"
"Not bad! So you're physically strong like me!"
"Ooof…I could say the same about you…!"
"Looks like I'm going to enjoy killing you!"
"Ow! Don't push your luck!"
"Too bad…because once I pin you down, I can kill you so easily!"
"Uuuunnnnffff…we'll see…about…that…!"
