Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here things are escalating following what happened from the previous chapter…where the battle against the Catoblepas Phantom is reaching a climax…or so we believe…

At the unspecified hideout, the Phoenix Phantom, in his human guise, berated the three Phantoms for fleeing when they have the chance to kill off Midoriya, and even accuses them of slacking off and asked if they are giving up their missions, which the three Phantoms were staring at the ground, feeling ashamed at being berated.
The three Phantoms were enduring the sermon as they had a justifiable reason for falling back, as they were badly injured by Endeavor, as his Quirk was strong comparable to that of Midoriya's magic offenses. The three Phantoms in question were identified as:
- Catoblepas
- Typhon
- Echidna
There the three Phantoms explained their sides yet it didn't satisfied Phoenix and asked the trio if they are thinking of quitting, which the Catoblepas, Typhon and Echidna Phantoms deny the accusations and said that all they need is a bit of rest and they are good to go and resume their missions.
"If you chickens are chickening out…just say it! I'll finish the job you jobbers couldn't finish the job!"
"No, we're not!"
"We just need a bit of rest…"
"Once our mana is fully recharged, we're good to go and we'll kill the wizard!"
"Don't give me that lame excuse!"
"No…"
"We're not…"
"Honest!"
Medusa Phantom then showed up, and although displeased, she was willing to overlook this seeing that their alibis were justified due to the surprise interference from Endeavor, and there she urged the three Phantoms to resume their mission in eliminating Midoriya no matter what, which the three Phantoms nodded in acknowledgement.
"Fine. I'll let you rest…but you must complete your mission. Understand?"
"Yes."
"Yes."
"Yes."
"Remember. We must produce many Phantoms so that the Sabbath would be held once more. Wiseman says so, thus you must succeed this time. Do not fail us now."
"Yes."
"Yes."
"Yes."
As the Catoblepas, Typhon and Echidna Phantoms departed, Phoenix Phantom wondered why the trio didn't use their powers to take down Endeavor, yet Medusa Phantom said that it is justified that Endeavor is indeed a problem, and there she tells Phoenix to be ready, revealing that she had a talk with Wiseman and said that if Endeavor interferes again, Phoenix would be given permission to deal with the pro hero, which made him consider, as he prefer facing Wizard.
"Huh? I'm going to deal with that walking match stick?"
"If Wiseman gives the permission."
"Hmm…I really wanted to face that wizard…"
"At least you'd be given permission…"
"Oh, fine."
"Just be ready. You might be dispatched anytime."
"Okay."
"Good."

Ch. 32: Mahō ishi to atarashī yubiwa part 3
The scene shifts at the Endeavor Agency, which is the Hero Office founded by the Flame Hero: Endeavor, who is currently the number two pro hero within the main city of the prefecture.
There it is shown that Endeavor's Hero Agency is a luxurious skyscraper type building with various floors. The front entrance is decorated with a stylized flaming "E" for Endeavor.
Inside, there is a large office space with several desks and computers. Over thirty sidekicks including Burnin are constantly dealing with requests and other hero work for Endeavor.
Endeavor's sidekicks, known as the "Flaming Sidekickers", are very passionate and their catchphrase is "Flame On". As the agency of the current No. 2 Hero, the office stays very busy with many of them remaining on standby or going out on patrol.
Endeavor's personal office is a very large room with only a relatively small table and Endeavor's desk inside.
Many of the sidekicks working at the agency have fire and heat type Quirks. There the Flaming Sidekickers shown, in which they are a sidekicks group that work for Endeavor. They are usually in charge of minor jobs or to guard the Villains defeated by Endeavor until they are handed over to the Police Force.
There you can see that several sidekicks are seen doing paperwork and other things, and there some of the prominent sidekicks are seen, identified as:
- Burnin
- Onima
- Kido
The next scene shows that some of the Sidekicks, including Burnin, Kido and Onima, were eavesdropping on the conversation between Endeavor and Makoto Tsukauchi, where the latter explained to him about the Phantoms, and about some certain reasons why the Phantoms are targeting a select target whom they dubbed as Gates, and what happened when the Gate gets assaulted by the Phantoms.
Makoto also explained the certain methods the Phantoms use on their targets and how Wizard saves the victims, though at the cost of turning them into Quirkless.
The Flaming Sidekickers whispered to one another as they appeared to be skeptical about a new breed of villains using MAGIC as they felt that it is unrealistic, as if it was straight out from a fairy tale story, which Burnin, Kido and Onima agreed.
"Wizards…?"
"Phantoms…?"
"This sounds unrealistic. Like it sounds like coming out straight from a fairy tale book…"
"You think the detective is telling the truth…?"
"Depending on what she is saying…"
"Magic... it's no different from having a Quirk…"
"Yeah…"
"Same here "
Endeavor appeared to have some difficulty in believing Makoto's explanation, until she brought out the fact that she was attacked by a Phantom and lost her Quirk when Wizard saved her life, which the Number 2 Hero raised an eyebrow upon hearing this, and he checked the computer's database where it revealed that Makoto has a Lie Detector Quirk, and there she told Endeavor that she is now Quirkless as she lost her Quirk when Wizard saved her life.
"You…lost your…?"
"Yes. I lost my Quirk."
"How…?"
"I already explained it to you just now."
"…"
"Those Phantoms…they did something to their victims' bodies…causing their Quirks to go out of control inside their bodies…the wizard would go inside the Gates' bodies and stabilize it…but at the cost of erasing their Quirks and rendering them Quirkless…but that's the small price in saving their lives rather than letting them die…"
"…"
"I hope that would make it clear to you."
Despite her explanations and her calmness, Endeavor remained skeptical as he still doesn't trust this Wizard, and there he asked Makoto if she could arrange a meeting with Wizard as he wanted to meet him and to judge whether he can be trusted or not, which Makoto was mentally unsure if this is a good idea as she wondered if Endeavor is serious about wanting to meet Midoriya out of goodwill or if he is planning to apprehend him in secret.
"You…wish to meet him in person…?"
"Yes."
"Are you serious…? If this is…"
"I am serious. I'd like to see him for myself if that boy is really on the side of justice and peace and not a thug like other villains."
"But I already explained to you…"
"Which is why I wish to witness everything. Just to be sure."
"…"
"Therefore I'd like to ask for your cooperation…"

The following day…
At the Omokagedo Antique Shop, Midoriya got up and had breakfast, yet he was not quite in good condition as he is still smarting from the rib injury he got from yesterday's attack, and there Mineta asked if Midoriya has a healing type magic, which Midoriya said that he doesn't have one as the magic rings he have are mostly offensive and defensive types, which Mineta was flabbergasted and told Midoriya that he would be in a disadvantage in an upcoming battle should the three Phantoms show up and cause trouble.
"Huh? Those are the magic rings you have?"
"Uh…yeah…"
"That's way too lame!"
"Look, Mineta…"
"Think of the situation! If this were an RPG…you'd be dead in five turns before you could level up!"
"…"
"How can you win if you can't heal yourself and that you have no healing magic?"
"…"
As Eri looks on, the door opened where the chime rang, and there she, Mineta and Midoriya were surprised to see that Koichi Haimawari entered as he coincidentally came here as he needed to use a toilet, and he is surprised to see Midoriya and there he asked if he could use the toilet, which Midoriya nodded and told him where to go.
"Uh…toilet…?"
"Yes…toilet! Can I ask permission to…"
"Oh…go straight and turn right…"
"Really…?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, I'm using it! Thanks a bunch!"
"…"
"Off I go!"
After a minute Haimawari thanked Midoriya, but noticed that his upper body is still in bandages and asked if he is still injured from the Phantom attack, which Midoriya nodded, and there Haimawari offered to help, and while Midoriya tried to politely decline, Mineta and Eri insisted that he should accept the offer as there's a possibility that the three Phantoms might show up and force Midoriya to come out while injured.
Nodding, Haimawari brought out his magic ring and transformed into Kamen Rider Beast and uses the Dolphi Ring to assume the Dolphi Mantle and uses its magic to heal Midoriya and the latter is in full health and ready to go.
As Midoriya thanked Haimawari, the latter said that it is nothing, but then the crystal ball glowed and as Eri checked it, she saw the Catoblepas Phantom is targeting a hospice, which Midoriya clenched his fists as he couldn't believe that the Phantom would attack some bedridden senior citizens, which Mineta was shocked at this and there Haimawari told Midoriya to rest, stating that he got this and he will deal with the Catoblepas Phantom.
"No. You stay and rest. Though I already healed you, your mana is still low. And with the current magic spells you have…you might get beaten again."
"But..."
"I got this. So don't worry."
"…"
"Just leave everything to me."
"Are you sure?"
"Yup. I'll I need is weaken them then I absorb their mana."
"Huh?"
Haimawari then left as he head for the scene of the incident while Midoriya was forced to sit back as he is feeling guilty of being unable to do anything as the scene at the crystal ball shows that bedridden patients are slowly being slaughtered by the Catoblepas Phantom.
By then Wajima came down, looking visibly exhausted as he spent over a few hours carving and crafting a blue-colored Magic Stone and managed to make several magic rings where the blue-colored remains of the magic stones are seen, while each rings have an emblem placed and there Wajima told Mid
oriya that although he can make rings, he is unable to identify what kind of magical properties it shows.
"Sorry, kid…really can't tell what these can do…"
"Its fine, Wajima."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Are you sure…?"
"Yes. It's okay."
"Midoriya…"
"…"
Midoriya glanced at the table where the magic rings are laid, all having blue-colored remains of the magic stones placed inside the rings, and there each rings shown are identified as:
- Blizzard Ring (from the blue magic stone)
- Boil Ring (ordinary magic stone)
- Small Ring (ordinary magic stone)
- Extend Ring (ordinary magic stone)
- Smell Ring (ordinary magic stone)
Wajima apologized as he told Midoriya that he would have to test them out himself, though Midoriya said that it is okay as he intend to test them out anyway as he would use them to defeat the Phantoms, and there he is getting ready to depart, which Wajima, Eri and Mineta told Midoriya to be careful.
"Sorry, kid…really can't tell what these can do…I'm afraid that you'll have to test them out yourself."
"Oh, don't worry. It's fine, Wajima."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I will definitely test them out."
"Are you sure…?"
"Yes. I'd say it's a good opportunity to try them out and see how potent these new rings are."
"Midoriya…"
"Okay, got to go…"
As Midoriya boarded his motorcycle, he cruised his way, but upon reaching an intersection, the Typhon and Echidna Phantoms showed up and ambushed Midoriya, who managed to evade their attack yet a few bystanders were caught in the attacks, which they screamed as they were killed off by accident.
"AAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGYYYAAAHHH!"
"AAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGYYYAAAHHH!"
"AAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGYYYAAAHHH!"
"AAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGYYYAAAHHH!"
Midoriya was horrified at what the two Phantoms did, as they taunted him for being careless and even proudly stated that at least they can tell who the Gates are and those who are of no value, and this infuriates Midoriya as he toggles the Wizardriver and initiated his transformation into Kamen Rider Wizard,, and there the Phantoms are getting ready, feeling confident that they can kill him this time.
"You bastards will pay for the murder spree you committed…!"
"Heh, so now you threatening us…?"
"Feeling confident now, are we?"
"You two are going down!"
"Oooohhh…I'm scared…"
"Nice try…but you won't be able to talk your way out of your upcoming demise…"
"Enough. I'm taking you two out!"
"Then let us dance."
"And we'll send you to hell!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as things got complicated in which Endeavor requested to Makoto to arrange a meeting with Midoriya as he would personally judge if Midoriya is an ally or a threat, despite being told about the circumstances…
And now the Phantoms are on the move as they ambush Midoriya, and would the new magic rings he got be enough to give Midoriya an edge?
