My apologies for the late post, as things got frantic here at my place and it somewhat delayed my course of working on my fanfictions, which are:
1) I was struck down with a viral infection which affected my throat and had to make more than a week to get a lot of bed rest, hence I had to pull back on working on the chapters of my fanfics
2) Last October 15, I noticed that I haven't received any notifications from fanfiction . net, ranging from reviews to story favorites and following to receiving PMs from other fanfiction . net users, and I accidentally discovered that I received some reviews for some of my fics yet it didn't register on my Yahoo mail, so I sent a message to bot at fanfiction . com but discovered that there IS AN ISSUE on my email address and tried various ways, which went unresolved, and I resorted to use an alternate email address, but so far there is little change.
So for those who would like to inquire something or have something in mind regarding the fics I've written, I'll provide you with an alternative way in case the email alert list and PM on fanfiction . net hasn't been resolved.
Now that I've said my piece, onto other business at hand…
Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here things are escalating following what happened from the previous chapter…where the battle against the three Phantoms escalated as Midoriya got ambushed by the first two…while the third is on a killing spree…until someone comes in...and that's where our wizards would get to use their magic rings in battle…
Well then, read on and enjoy!
The scene shifts nearby where Wizard is currently fighting the Typhon and Echidna Phantoms, and there you can see that the two Phantoms are getting hurt after being struck by the Boil Ring's magic effects, and there the ones observing the battle looks on in keen interest, with one making sure that Typhon and Echidna are doing their jobs, but the other seem to be eager to intervene, yet the other told him to stay his hand.
"No. You will stay and observe."
"You serious?"
"Yes."
"But…"
"You know our orders."
"Oh come on! Didn't you see that…"
"We do as we are told."
"Damn…"
The observers turn out to be Medusa and Phoenix, who are in their human guises, as they watched the other pedestrians screaming while scrambling to get away after seeing what the two Phantoms did a while ago, and in their panicking states they seemingly failed to notice that Kamen Rider Wizard is protecting them as all they think about is getting to safety, staying in one piece, and nothing more.
"AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!"
"GGGGGGGGGYYYYYYAAAAAHHHHH!"
"RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!"
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Despite seeing the people's sufferings and their panic-stricken states, Phoenix is getting rather impatient as he saw Typhon and Echidna are getting kicked around and he tells Medusa that he should go down there and assist the two Phantoms though she told him not to go, reasoning that Wiseman has not given approval, and that Typhon and Echidna should be enough to handle the armored Midoriya, believing that the two Phantoms would give their all.
She also said that Typhon and Echidna knows what's at stake and what would happen if they fail in this mission, which did little to appease Phoenix's apparent bloodlust for itching for a battle, especially as he finds himself wanting to battle Midoriya after seeing him defeating a few Phantoms in the recent weeks.
"No. You will stay and observe. Those are the orders of Wiseman."
"You serious? So we'll just stay here and watch our fellow Phantoms get…"
"Yes. Typhon and Echidna knows what will happen if they fail in their mission."
"But…what if that ring-bearing clown…"
"Fine. I will ask Wiseman and see if he gives his approval."
"Oh come on! When would that be…?"
"Who knows? Be patient, Phoenix."
"Damn…"
Medusa smirked and assured to Phoenix that she would convey to Wiseman about it and said that if Wiseman approves of it he would let Phoenix deal with the ring-bearing Wizard when the opportunity presents itself, and though he felt that it might take more time, like in weeks or months, Phoenix reluctantly accepts as long as Medusa tells Wiseman about letting him take a shot towards Midoriya.
"So…are you amendable to that…?"
"Hmph."
"…"
"Fine."
"Good."
"Those two better do a good job or else I'll get into a foul move…"
"Be patient, Phoenix. We will win "
"Bah…!"
As Phoenix and Medusa watches on, something unexpected took place as the White Wizard showed up, catching the two Phantoms by surprise as they didn't sensed him coming out of nowhere, and there the White Wizard said that the ring-bearing Wizard will defeat ALL OF THE Phantoms, which Phoenix took exception, and dared the White Wizard to prove his statement.
"What was that, you whitewashed asshole?"
"All Phantoms will die. You included."
"You think you're hot stuff?"
"You are a third-class lifeform not worth anything but a domestic pet."
"So you're saying that I looked like a dog? Are you looking for a fight?!"
"I look down on you, you plankton."
"Say that again, you asshole!"
"I look down on you, you plankton."
Medusa glared at the White Wizard as she began to suspect that he is in league with Midoriya and asked him if he is the one who made the boy a wizard, which the White Wizard cryptically stated that he may have, as he claimed that he MERELY PASSED his magic onto Midoriya as a way to deal with Phantoms like her and Phoenix.
Phoenix became pissed and decided to vent his bloodlust towards the White Wizard, though Medusa tried to calm him down as she said that she should get Wiseman's approval first, but Phoenix said that the White Wizard interfered before, and if he interfered again it would put their plans to bring forth the Sabbath into jeopardy.
"No. We have our orders from Wiseman."
"Screw it!"
"What…?"
"That whitewashed clown interfered before…so he might do it again and ruin everything…!"
"…"
"So we should strike at once!"
"Wait, Phoenix..."
"I mean it…!"
The White Wizard sneered and tells Phoenix that of all the Phantoms he is a PERPETUAL FAILURE because all he thinks about is fighting and would be nothing more than a low-rate bully who just picks on LITTLE KIDS who at least pulled their weights, whilst Phoenix just whines like a spoiled brat who only knows how to throw a TEMPER TANTRUM.
Medusa sensed that the White Wizard is provoking Phoenix and her worries are realized as Phoenix loses his composure as he assumed his Phantom form and is ready to take the fight, and she tried to get Phoenix to back off but he is too pissed to listen to reason, as he is pissed off after being insulted.
"Phoenix!"
"Shut up!"
"Don't…!"
"I'm going to kill this clown!"
"We still need to get Wiseman's approval…"
"Then go to him and ask him yourself! I'm going to deck this asshole!"
"Stop, Phoenix!"
"Get out of my way!"

Ch. 34: Mahō ishi to atarashī yubiwa part 5
Nearby, the scene shows that Midoriya activated his magic and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard and he began to fight back, yet the two Phantoms were stubborn as they kept Wizard on the defensive and said that Catoblepas Phantom will succeed in his plans, which Wizard realized that the hospice he saw from Eri's crystal ball is actually a cover as a Gate was there, yet he mentally hoped that Haimawari would be there to stop the Phantom.
Realizing that he had to end this Wizard decided to test out the magic rings that Wajima crafted and see how potent they are when used in a battle, and he hoped that this would help him take out the two Phantoms in a quick way.
"Okay, Wajima…I'm going to try out the rings you made…"
Wizard brought out a magic ring, placed it on his right middle finger and then placed it in front of the Wizardriver where it spoke to activate the magic spell, which the ring turns out to be the Boil Ring.
Wizardriver: "BOIL…PLEASE…"
The Boil Ring glowed fired an energy attack which caused the two Phantoms' skins to boil and wound them, causing the Typhon and Echidna Phantoms to shriek in pain, and Wizard is relieved to see that the rings are helpful in dealing with the Phantoms.
"AAAAAIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!"
"GGGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"
"Whoa…"
"WHAT KIND OF MAGIC IS THIS?!"
"MY SKIN IS BOILING!"
"Looks like Wajima's crafting worked…"
"DAMN THAT WIZARD!"
"WE GOT TO KILL HIM OR BOTH MEDUSA AND PHOENIX WOULD KILL US!"
"Okay…I better try out the rest…"
Wizard then puts the Small Ring onto his right middle finger before placing it in front of the Wizardriver where it spoke to activate the magical command, and Wizard became small, which perplexed the two Phantoms as they seemingly failed to notice that the ring-bearing Wizard, now the size of a human finger, managed to sneak behind Typhon and stealthily entered his body through the Phantom's ear, and there he brought out the Wi-Sword-Gun (in sword mode) before removing the Small Ring before wearing the Big Ring, and then placed it in front of the Wizardriver to commence its magical command.
Wizardriver: "BIG…PLEASE…"
There the Wi-Sword-Gun enlarged and Wizard pierced the enlarged sword through the Phantom's brain, causing Typhon to scream as he EXPLODED, alarming Echidna as he saw his fellow Phantom exploded into flames, and as the smoke cleared, Kamen Rider Wizard stood, regaining his normal height and there Echidna realized that the ring-bearing Wizard has defeated the Typhon Phantom.
"No…no way…!"
"…"
"You killed…"
"Yeah…and you're next…"
"H-hold on…"
"Sorry…but I need to stop you immediately."
"W-wait! Spare me!"
"No mercy for you."
As the Echidna Phantom attempted to escape, Wizard puts on the Extend Ring into his right middle finger and places it in front of the Wizardriver and its magic activated, where he uses it to slow down the Phantom and prevented him from escaping, and there the Echidna Phantom pleaded to the armored Midoriya to spare his life, but Wizard knows it was a bluff, especially after what the two Phantoms did minutes ago which resulted in a massacre.
However, a police van arrived, and out came several SWAT members, all armed with high-powered weapons, but in a very unwise move they opened fire and shoots at the ring-bearing Wizard while disregarding the Phantom, who promptly uses the distraction to escape, and as Wizard attempted to chase after the Phantom majority of the SWAT members tackled the wizard to the ground and aimed their weapons at him.
"Freeze!"

Wizard was mentally frustrated at seeing how inept the SWAT members are, and as he is about to fight back and go after the Phantom, Police Chief Kenji Tsuragamae arrived, and visibly angered at the ineptitude course that the SWAT members did, he screamed at them to cease their action at once and unhand the ring-bearing Wizard immediately.
The leading SWAT member attempted to justify by saying that they captured the culprit and that everything is under control, but a sole survivor of the Phantom attack stepped forward and belied what the SWAT members said and told Tsuragamae what really happened but the SWAT members attempted to voice their alibi in an attempt to cover their misdeeds.
"It's the truth, Chief!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
With a wave of his hand, Tsuragamae summoned another squad of SWAT members and there the police chief ordered them to disarm the incompetent SWAT members and place them in custody while instructing the rest to find the fleeing Phantom, which the SWAT members nodded in acknowledgement, as half of them placed handcuffs on the inept SWAT members and prepare to place them inside the police vans and the rest began searching for the Echidna Phantom.
Tsuragamae approached the armored Wizard and apologized for what happened, surprising the latter as he did not expect that the police chief is aware of the fact about the ring-bearing Wizard, and there Tsuragamae professionally requested to the Wizard to find and take down the fleeing Phantom no matter what while urging him to prevent more casualties, which the armored Midoriya nodded in acknowledgement.
"Please. I request that you find and take down the Phantom."
"You…knew about them…?"
"Yes. From a certain police detective…"
"Makoto Tsukauchi…"
"Can I trust you on that…?"
"Yes."
"Good. Now go and stop that Phantom."
"Okay."
Suddenly, shots were heard and the ring-bearing Wizard realized that the Echidna Phantom is nearby and he boarded his motorcycle and head towards the source, where a minute later he arrived where he saw the Echidna Phantom caused a massacre where seven SWAT members are sprawled on the ground, disemboweled and laying in a pool of blood, their INNARDS exposed and only two SWAT members remained but were badly injured.
Using the Extend Ring, Wizard pulled the two to a safe place and told them to get away from here while he will deal with the Phantom, which the surviving SWAT members reluctantly nodded in acknowledgement, seeing that they couldn't continue the fight.
"You two get to an ambulance. I'll deal with that guy "
"Are you sure…?"
"You think you can beat that thing?"
"Yes."
"Okay.."
"Okay."
"Then I'm off. You get going."
"Okay.."
"Okay."
After that Wizard went after the Phantom and tried to stall him, but she managed to repel him using physical attacks, largely due to her lower body having the physical characteristics of a snake's body, and needing to keep her grounded and distract her from making another escape, Wizard decided to experiment with another of Wajima's crafted ring: the Smell Ring.
Putting it on his right middle finger and placed it in front of the Wizardriver, he activated the Smell Ring and this produced a foul scent which even a Phantom becoming irritated and became preoccupied in trying to escape the stench, and this gave the Wizard time to set up his ultimate attack, as he performed the Flame Kick Strike, and finally defeated the Echidna Phantom.
After that he surveyed the area where he saw several paramedics arriving and began assisting the injured, and feeling that everything is under control, Wizard decided to leave and head out to where Haimawari is, unaware that Haimawari is dealing with a Phantom and received a reluctant assistance from Endeavor.
However, as the armored Midoriya passes by a nearby shore, something struck him from behind, causing him to get thrown out from his motorcycle, and he felt a rather strong fiery blast which even his armored form narrowly protected him, and as he gets up, he is surprised to see who ambushed him. It was the Phoenix Phantom, and while he looked pissed, he seemed to be appeased upon seeing the armored Midoriya, and there the Phantom decided to take his chance and see for himself if the ring-bearing Wizard is worth fighting after the latter became a foil in disrupting the plans to bring forth the Sabbath.
"Heh. So you're the so-called Ring-bearing Wizard…"
"!"
"Now I'm going to confirm the rumors. And I'll see to it that you won't get in our way."
"A Phantom!"
"Seeing you kill our fellow Phantoms and ruining our plans is one thing…but seeing you in front of me really pissed me off!"
"Damn..."
"So now I'm going to kill you!"
"!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as Midoriya takes the spotlight as he deals with the Phantoms whilst the White Wizard makes another appearance, yet Phoenix Phantom managed to slip out and confronted Midoriya, where a battle is about to take place…
