I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here, the current story arc is underway, as the semifinals of the tournament is currently ongoing and now we are moments away from results…where the match would reach an unexpected climax…

Ch. 44: Budō tōnamento part 16

A few minutes have passed and the ring announcer came out and announced that the results of the Bakugo-Kendo match would be withheld for the time being as the Suiryu-Uraraka match will proceed as scheduled, which some of the audiences, mostly females fans, began to chant for Suiryu, due to being attracted to his charms.

"Suiryu! Suiryu!"

Kirishima, Ojiro and Kendo then encouraged Uraraka to give her all and not fall victim to Suiryu's provocation as he might do that during the match, which Uraraka nodded as she said that she would definitely win the semifinal round and make it to the finals, determined to win the prize money and give it to her parents as a way to support them financially.

"Go for it, Uraraka!"

"Do your best!"

"Show that Suiryu who's the boss!"

"Okay!"

"Be careful though. His fighting skills could be better than yours…"

"Just focus and you might find an opening…"

"You can do it, Uraraka!"

"I will!"

As Uraraka entered the arena, several of Suiryu's fangirls who were amongst the audience appeared to feel insecure upon seeing her, as they feel that Suiryu might flirt with Uraraka, and there the fangirls began booing her as they urged Suiryu to beat her and not flirt with an UNATTRACTIVE BITCH like Uraraka, surprising some of the audiences who noted that the fangirls are very rude to Uraraka.

"Go, Suiryu!"

"Go for it!"

"Beat up that bitch!"

"She's too ugly!"

"And a bit overweight!"

"Don't try flirting with that piglet!"

"Win, Suiryu!"

"Win for us!"

Mountain Ape and Eyelashes were quite annoyed as the rude fangirls are BODY SHAMING Uraraka just to make her look bad, commenting that the fangirls are very foolish to think that by doing that they would earn favors from Suiryu, and both believe that the fangirls' antics would bite back at them once the match ends, and should Uraraka emerge the tournament champion.

"Those girls…"

"They sure act like prostitutes…"

"They are really full of themselves…"

"Yeah…too bad they are going to regret it…"

"Yeah…there's no guarantee that Suiryu would win…"

"Uraraka might pull an upset…"

"I agree."

"And this is where the real match begin…"

Fubuki nodded as she believes that this would be Uraraka's biggest challenge, as she is facing an experienced combatant where Quirks are not involved, and she is curious if Uraraka could hold on her own against the likes of Suiryu, and there she tells Mountain Ape and Eyelashes to watch the match carefully as they are going to judge if Uraraka is good enough to be recruited.

"Mountain Ape...Eyelashes…watch the match carefully."

"Yes, boss…"

"Observe it well. See what the participants' strength and weaknesses are…"

"Yes, boss…"

"And this would determine whether Uraraka is worth recruiting…"

"Yes, boss…"

Kendo and Kirishima were quite appalled at the fangirls' antics, seeing that they are trying to gain Suiryu's favor by cheering him so that he would consider dating them, and there Bakugo told his fellow UA Academy students that Uraraka won't get riled since she is focused on the match against Suiryu, which Ojiro agreed and said that they should cheer on Uraraka as she intend to win the match and make it to the finals.

"So we better show Uraraka our support. You with me, guys?"

"Yeah!"

"So let's do it!"

"Yeah!"

Moments later Suiryu entered the arena and soon the match commences, where he is poised to do a martial arts move, but Uraraka wasn't fazed as she maintain a defensive stance, and he was quite impressed that she seemed to be alert, but thought of strategies that would make her lower her guard and find an opening to weaken her.

He began doing some hand strikes but she deflected them using her hands and arms, and as he tried kick attacks Uraraka did the same tactics and almost found an opening but Suiryu backed away at the last moment as he deduced that this was her plan, breaking her momentum and the audience were getting a bit dismayed as they see that Uraraka is doing the fighting and Suiryu is just feinting, and they urged Suiryu to fight seriously, comparing his tactics to a champion boxer who would feign and just back away.

"Hey! Suiryu!"

"What are you doing?"

"Are you fighting or dancing?"

"Show some offense!"

"Go and fight!"

"Fight, damn it!"

"Fight like a fighter and not dance like a ballerina!"

"Just fight already!"

As Kirishima, Ojiro and Kendo are wondering what is Suiryu doing, Bakugo somewhat got the gist, and said that Suiryu is applying a tactic where he would feint, let his opponent do the fight and then back away, and repeat the same tactic. Bakugo then said that Suiryu is doing this to wear Uraraka down, and once she is weakened, that's where Suiryu strikes, saying that he is emulating the strategy that famous boxer Mayweather used which led him to have a spotless winning record.

Bakugo said that by now Uraraka has figured it out and all she could do is be patient and not get suckered into Suiryu's ploy, as she would have to be patient in trying to land a blow on Suiryu, which the other UA Academy students nodded, hoping that Uraraka would endure Suiryu's tactics.

"This is where Uraraka would face this test…"

"Yeah…"

"Indeed."

"Absolutely."

"She needs to focus. Hard."

"Yeah."

"Right."

"Correct."

Indeed, Uraraka was patient as she made her move by not getting riled and waited for her opponent to make a move, and the audience are getting restless as they shouted at Suiryu to fight as they did not come here to see him DANCING AROUND, and threatened to boycott the match if he doesn't get serious.

Suiryu observe the situation, and noticed that Uraraka is being patient, and seeing that she is not biting his tactics, he decided to try another way to make her lower her guard, and decided to go on the defensive as she finally engage in a fistfight as he tried to land a blow on her upper body, and she responded by deflecting the blows with her arms and hands.

As the audience are starting to enjoy, Suiryu came up with a surprise tactic by making it appear that he is going to GROPE her crotch, taking her by surprise and instinctively covered her crotch with her hands, leaving her open and Suiryu found an opening and landed a blow on her face, hitting her on her nose and she was knocked down.

Kirishima, Ojiro and Kendo were shocked and concerned, while Bakugo grudgingly said that Suiryu came up with a foolish but effective tactic, yet Kirishima and the others felt that what Suiryu did was harassment, but Bakugo said that anything goes as the match is ongoing, hence anything he does goes as long as it is permissible by the referee.

"Sorry, but that's how the match goes."

"No way…"

"That Suiryu is such a dirty fighter…"

"And so unmanly!"

"There are no rules here…and anything goes…"

"…"

As the referee is counting, Uraraka slowly got up at the count of eight, and she is now bleeding from her nostrils as she realized that she got suckered, and tries to focus on defeating her opponent, and as the match resumes, Suiryu began to unleash a barrage of punches and kicks, which she went on the defensive while searching for an opening.

Suiryu got a bit overconfident and unintentionally left himself open, allowing her to land a blow on his gut, and he winces a bit in pain as she tries a follow-up attack, but he made another surprise tactic by using his hands and groped both her breasts, and she instinctively covered her chest with her hands and Suiryu took advantage, and landed another fist blow on her face, this time hitting her on the left side of her jaw, and she once more gets knocked to the floor.

The audience saw this and noticed that Suiryu is using SHORTCUTS, and the fact that his tactics are a form of SEXUAL HARASSMENT, and began booing Suiryu as well as calling him a shameless HENTAI, and they began rooting for Uraraka, seeing that she is fighting in her earnest and sees her as an underdog in the semifinals.

"Uraraka! Uraraka! Uraraka!"

"Uraraka! Uraraka! Uraraka!""

Mount Lady is getting agitated at seeing what Suiryu is doing, as she finds it unacceptable that he is resorting to such low blows just to get Uraraka to lower her guard and land a lucky strike, though Kamui Woods, Edge Shot and Hawks said that since the match is ongoing, any form of tactics are acceptable as long as weapons of any kind are not used, hence any form of plans are in, even if it looks like a form of MOLESTATION.

"What? Just like that?"

"Yup. It's legal in this tournament."

"As long as you don't kill…"

"And provided that no weapons are used…"

"That's overkill!"

"That's how it is."

"And that's life."

"And life is not always fair…"

Uraraka got up at the count of nine, and. Suiryu is getting ready to try a similar tactic, but Uraraka seems to come up with something as she began to wobble backwards, and thinking that she was weakened, he charges ahead and plans on landing a successive blow to knock her out and win by knock out so he can advance to the finals.

As Suiryu began to do some successive blows, Uraraka endured and timed her actions as she grappled onto Suiryu and did a rolling judo throw by rolling herself backwards, where Suiryu was taken by surprise, and though momentarily, he saw that he is just a step away from the edge of the arena and realized that he is about to be thrown out.

Bakugo smirked as he realized that this is what Uraraka is aiming for after seeing her letting Suiryu hit her a few times, and there Kirishima, Kendo and Ojiro are hoping that Uraraka succeed and get Suiryu eliminated from the tournament and get to the finals.

"Go for it, Uraraka!"

"Yeah!"

"Win!"

"Do it!"

"Beat that creep!"

"Advance to the finals!"

"You can do it!"

"For the win!"

The fangirls were worried and urged Suiryu to hang in there and not let a BITCH like Uraraka win, saying that if Suiryu wins they would date him all week long.

"Go, Suiryu!"

"Go for it!"

"Throw that bitch out of the arena!"

"She's too ugly to win!"

"And a bit overweight!"

"Do away with that piglet!"

"Win, Suiryu!"

"Win for us!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as the second match of the Semifinals has generated a lot of buzz…mainly due to some fangirls supporting Suiryu while shaming Uraraka…but she somewhat persevere and held on…

And now the Suiryu-Uraraka match is about to reach its climax…
