I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here, the current story arc is underway, as the semifinals of the tournament is currently ongoing and now we are moments away from results…where the match would reach an unexpected climax…

Ch. 45: Budō tōnamento part 17
As Suiryu began to do some successive blows, Uraraka endured and timed her actions as she grappled onto Suiryu and did a rolling judo throw by rolling herself backwards, where Suiryu was taken by surprise, and though momentarily, he saw that he is just a step away from the edge of the arena and realized that he is about to be thrown out.
Bakugo smirked as he realized that this is what Uraraka is aiming for after seeing her letting Suiryu hit her a few times, and there Kirishima, Kendo and Ojiro are hoping that Uraraka succeed and get Suiryu eliminated from the tournament and get to the finals.
"Go for it, Uraraka!"
"Yeah!"
"Win!"
"Do it!"
"Beat that creep!"
"Advance to the finals!"
"You can do it!"
"For the win!"
The fangirls were worried and urged Suiryu to hang in there and not let a BITCH like Uraraka win, saying that if Suiryu wins they would date him all week long.
"Go, Suiryu!"
"Go for it!"
"Throw that bitch out of the arena!"
"She's too ugly to win!"
"And a bit overweight!"
"Do away with that piglet!"
"Win, Suiryu!"
"Win for us!"
The audience watching the match are starting to get invested as they are treated to some good action as Uraraka made the effort, as unlike Suiryu, she went on the offensive and defensive, and she never showboated, and now she appeared to be on the verge of an underdog victory as she managed to get Suiryu near the edge of the arena.
They began cheering for her and urged her to win the match and advance to the finals of the tournament, their chanting was the loudest which can be heard throughout the stadium, which Hawks, Edge Shot, Kamui Woods and Mount Lady were surprised at how loud the audience are chanting for Uraraka, rooting for her.
"Heh…looks like the Gravity Girl is amassing a lot of admirers…"
"Yeah…"
"She became an underdog…"
"And now Suiryu is facing some backlash…"
"Now all she need is to win this match."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
Indeed, as Suiryu attempted to get away from the edge of the arena, Uraraka blocked his path and began to use a barrage of punches and kicks to get him to back up near the edge, and to Suiryu's surprise, he finds himself in a pinch as he couldn't afford to leave himself open, as a lucky strike might send him tumbling towards the edge and get himself a ring-out.
As he thinks of a way, Uraraka is starting to push her way through his defenses, and Suiryu is forced to lock arms with Uraraka as he held his stance to keep himself from being pushed back, as she tries to push him towards the edge of the arena, and he is starting to realize that his reputation is at stake and began to think of something to make her drop her guard so he would find an opening and send her out of the arena.
There he came up with an idea and decided to take the risk, and, to the shock of everyone within the stadium, Suiryu KISSED Uraraka on the lips, and she was shocked by what Suiryu just did, and both Kendo and Ojiro saw it and realized that Suiryu did a desperate attempt to halt Uraraka's momentum, as Kirishima was angered by Suiryu's actions while Bakugo said that this was a last-ditch tactic to make Uraraka drop her guard.
"Hey! What the heck is he doing?"
"A last-ditch plan to make Uraraka lower her guard…"
"That was clearly a sexual harassment!"
"Unfortunately, in that match anything goes…as long as bladed weapons and killing is prohibited."
"Bakugo…"
"Its up to Uraraka to respond…"
"…"
"…"
As Suiryu is confident that Uraraka would be shocked and would release her hold he would take advantage, but what he did not anticipate is what her retaliation would be like, as Uraraka bit his lips very hard, causing him to convulse in pain, and with his arms locked with hers, he couldn't break free, and she continued to bite his lips as the bleeding commences, and then she did a LOW BLOW by doing a knee strike on his BALLS.
Then Uraraka did a headbutt and hit Suiryu on his nose, further BUSTING HIM OPEN before she did a pair of palm strike which pushed him towards the edge of the arena, and now he is falling, but Suiryu grabbed Uraraka by her hair and pulls her with him and both fell out of the ring, and shifting his weight, Suiryu managed to pull Uraraka and hoped that she would hit the ground first so she would be eliminated.
As both participants hit the ground, the referees outside the arena saw this and huddled, just as Kendo, Kirishima, and Ojiro went to Uraraka, surprised to see her glaring while her face and lips are smeared in blood, worried that she was BUSTED open, but Bakugo told his schoolmates that it was Suiryu who got bloodied, saying that Uraraka bit Suiryu's lips before headbutting her opponent's nose, and it is payback for what he did, surprising the trio.
"Yup. That's what happened."
"Eh…"
"Seriously…"
"No way…"
"Suiryu got a karmic response for pulling such a cheap tactic…"
"You're right…"
"Well, good for him…"
"We should comfort Uraraka…"
As medics checked on Suiryu, the ring announcer spoke and said that the ring officials determined that both Uraraka and Suiryu fell the ground at the same time, thus it was deemed a draw, which the audience was surprised as a double draw took place, thus causing an unexpected conflict as Bakugo and Kendo were also in the same situation.
"What?"
"A draw…"
"Seriously…?"
"No way…"
"Bakugo and Kendo are also in a draw…"
"A double draw…"
"Now this is new…"
"What next…?"
Hawks whistled in a curious tone, saying that the tournament organizers are now scrambling as they got a double draw that happened in the semifinal round, and thus it would be a problem if they couldn't come up with a way to address it given that it was clear that both matches were seen by the audience that both the Suiryu-Uraraka and the Bakugo-Kendo matches ended up in an unprecedented result, thus putting the finals of the tournament in such a pinch.
"Looks like the organizers are scrambling…"
"Really?"
"You think so?"
"For real?"
"And now the finals of this tournament is facing a possible limbo…"
"I guess…"
"What next…"
"I wonder..."
Meanwhile, the medics are checking on Suiryu, where they said that he is lucky his BALLS weren't damaged, his nose wasn't fractured, which Suiryu chuckled, but the lead medic sternly told him that aside from getting his lips stitched, his performance later, depending on the judges, would be jeopardized, and tells him that his actions on Uraraka a while ago is karma for pulling off such a stunt, and sternly advised him not to do that again, as this would earn him a lot of potential enemies.
"I do hope that you learned something…"
"Heh…"
"You should refrain from making flirtatious advances…especially during a match."
"Heh…"
"What you got just now is a result of your foolishness."
"Heh…"
"So you better clean up your act…"
"Heh…"
As the other medics are preparing to stitch Suiryu's lips as it is still bleeding, the lead medic glanced at Uraraka, whose face and lips are still smeared in Suiryu's blood, and is glaring straight at Suiryu himself, and the lead medic sighed as he sympathize with her after seeing what Suiryu did earlier when he tried to HIT ON HER with his flirtatious advances, and just minutes ago he resorted to stealing Uraraka's kiss, expecting that she would get flustered and lose her composure that might make her lower her guard, yet it backfired as Uraraka bit him on his lips and headbutting his nose.
As Kendo, Ojiro and Kirishima are calming a still-livid Uraraka, Bakugo glanced at the table where the tournament organizers are huddling as they studied the situation, conceding the fact that both the Suiryu-Uraraka and Bakugo-Kendo matches ended in a draw, and opinion is divided as one side said that the two matches should be restarted, and the other side said that a coin toss be made so that whoever wins would advance to the finals.
"I say we restart the two matches!"
"I say we do a coin toss!"
"Restart the two matches!"

As the two sides argued, one of the sponsors came and suggested something which caught the organizers' attention, in which the sponsor suggested that the four semifinalists advance to the finals and have a battle royal-style match, in which the only way to win is one has to throw the opponent out of the arena, and the last person remaining would be the winner and declared the champion.
The two sides huddled, as they felt that this could work and it would be fair enough since the four semifinalists hit the ground at the same time and felt that this would be a good way to determine the final winner and agreed that the sponsor's suggestion is indeed fine.

Bakugo was unable to hear what the discussion is about, yet he is intrigued at seeing the organizers having a satisfied composure, and there he told Kendo and Uraraka to be ready, saying that he has a feeling that something unexpected is about to happen, which the two girls nodded, and Uraraka clenched her fists as she is hoping that Suiryu better not get the win as she is still pissed for what he did to her minutes ago.
After a few minutes the ring announcer spoke and told the audience that a decision was made, and said that Suiryu, Kendo, Bakugo and Uraraka will advance to the finals, and instead of another one-on-one matches, the four participants would participate in a battle royal-style match, and told the audience how this match would be done.
The audience were intrigued as this has never happened before, and they became interested as they would get to see how Suiryu respond, as they get the feeling that the three UA students would get a shot at Suiryu, especially Uraraka, as the audience are sure that she would want to get some payback.
"Go, Uraraka!"
"Beat up Suiryu!"
"Get some payback! He sexually harassed you a while ago!"
"Go get him, Uraraka!"
"Uraraka!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as the second match of the Semifinals has generated a lot of buzz…mainly due to Suiryu did something foolish and got his comeuppance…
And now the Suiryu-Uraraka match resulted in a draw…and now it is agreed that Suiryu and the three UA students would advance to the finals and do a battle royal-style match…
