Ch. 48: Budō tōnamento part 20

At the medics' tent, the medics were assessing the injury that Kendo received, and noted that it wasn't a serious one as there are no fractures, and they began to administer first aid and managed to stop the bleeding, then began to use medical means to treat her nose, concluding that she suffered only some bruises and tells her to take it easy from hereon.

"There…that should do for now…"

"…"

"We stopped the bleeding…and your nose suffered no major injuries. Just a bruise."

"…"

"You'll be okay and you should avoid any strenuous activities for a week…"

"…"

"Okay, we are almost done…"

"…"

One of the female medics approached Kendo and recommended that she press charges against Suiryu for what he did, like groping her chest and for pulling her lower clothing and panties down, reasoning that what Suiryu did was more than sexual harassment, and said that even though it was considered legal because of the ANYTHING GOES rules, it is no excuse to do that to a female.

The other medics heard it and agreed with the female medic, and urged Kendo to file charges against Suiryu, telling her not to be afraid as she has to protect her honor and to show Suiryu that just because he is handsome doesn't mean he can do whatever he wants towards a girl.

"Press charges. That Suiryu creep should be punished. He thinks he's charming but he showed blatant disrespect towards girls."

"Press charges"

Kendo nodded and said that she will do that, which Kirishima nodded and tells Kendo that if Suiryu tries to do something foolish again she should not hold back and knock out all of his teeth as Suiryu's actions are unacceptable as he violated a girl's body whether it is during a match or outside the match.

The female medics nodded, but they still urged Kendo to sue Suiryu, feeling that even beating him up might not deter him from HITTING ON other girls.

"Press charges."

"Press charges"

Meanwhile, the scene shifts back at the arena, where all eyes are on Bakugo, who is now facing Suiryu, but then they noticed that Uraraka is struggling to stand still as she is clutching her ribcage as she is clearly in pain yet she is mentally trying to block the pain, and she is sweating a lot now due to the pain she is experiencing, which Snakefist Snek and Lightning Max took note of.

"She's clearly in pain."

"Looks like it."

"She can't continue. She has to concede."

"I agree, but it looks like she doesn't want to throw the towel yet."

"What are the referees are doing? Can't they see…"

"Seems like they think that she can still fight. Let's see where this would lead to."

"You sure?"

"Yup."

Mount Lady noticed it as well and wondered why the officials are not doing anything as, in her opinion, it is clear that Uraraka won't be able to continue the match, but Hawks said that Uraraka is still able to move, and if she is able to defend herself, she remains in contention which Kamui Woods and Edge Shot felt that Mount Lady is right as Uraraka would only be a punching bag now as she looked like she would offer little resistance should she be the remaining opponent of whoever is left, whether it is Suiryu or Bakugo.

"No way…"

"She really can't continue like that…"

"That's suicide…"

"Probably…but Uraraka still chose to continue. We'll have to see where this would go and see if Uraraka can make it out as the winner."

"…"

"Okay, pass me the popcorn."

The scene shifts at the audience were they are staring at the arena where Bakugo is confronting Suiryu, and there some of Suiryu's fans cheered on, urging him to eliminate Bakugo, reasoning that he is a BAD BOY as well as being an EYESORE, hence they chanted for Suiryu to eliminate Bakugo so that he can eliminate Uraraka the moment he manage to get rid of Bakugo.

"Go, Suiryu!"

"Eliminate that blond-haired geek!"

"He's a bad boy!"

"We hate him!"

"Throw him out, Suiryu!"

"Then throw out that PIGLET bitch!"

"Do it, Suiryu!"

"Do it now!"

Mountain Ape and Eyelashes were quite annoyed as the rude fangirls are judging Bakugo based on his appearance, but what annoyed the Blizzard Group members is that the fangirls continue to BODY SHAMING Uraraka just to make her look bad, despite her showing her will to fight despite the possible injury she received, commenting that the fangirls are very foolish to think that by doing that they would earn favors from Suiryu, and both believe that the fangirls' antics would bite back at them once the match ends, and should Uraraka emerge the tournament champion.

"Those girls…"

"They sure act like prostitutes in a HEAT…"

"They are really full of themselves…"

"Yeah…too bad they are going to regret it…"

"Yeah…there's no guarantee that Suiryu would win…Bakugo is not an easy opponent to beat…"

"And should Bakugo manage to eliminate Suiryu…what will he do to Uraraka? I doubt she could pull an upset…"

"I agree."

"And this is where the real match begin…"

As Uraraka struggles to move as she is intent in eliminating Suiryu, the rude fangirls were not pleased with Uraraka's will to continue, and there they cheered on to Suiryu, urging him to throw Uraraka out of the ring, proclaiming her as an eyesore, and the fangirls began taunting Uraraka as a way to insult her, hoping that she would be discouraged from continuing the match.

"PIGLET! PIGLET! PIGLET! PIGLET!"

To the fangirls' shock, some of the audience members stood up and confronted the fangirls, telling them to shut up or leave the stadium, saying that they are stupid for supporting a molester, and for insulting a teen girl who showed the grit of a REAL FIGHTER who persevere through hard work, and the audience members threatened to BEAT UP the fangirls if they do not behave.

"You bitches shut the hell up."

"Your antics are annoying."

"And stop body-shaming that Uraraka. If you can't behave…get the FUCK out of the stadium."

"Or we'll beat you up till your faces turn ugly and no boys would date you."

"…"

The fangirls stared wide-eyed at being told off, and seeing that the rest of the audience members are glaring, the fangirls were forced to relent and sat down, opting to silently support Suiryu as the scene shows that Bakugo began to go on the offensive, as he releases a barrage of punches on Suiryu, who uses his arms to block the blows.

Bakugo then stealthily trick Suiryu into backing against the edge of the arena, as he is trying to find a way to make Suiryu lose his balance so that he could force him to fall off, while at the same time Uraraka is willing herself to move forward as she is fighting off the pain on her ribcage. Several of the audience members were moved as they see that she is willing herself to move and fight despite the pain she is in.

Mount Lady looked solemnly and commented that it is better that Uraraka should concede as she now has zero chance to win as she can barely defend herself as it is clear that she is badly injured, which Kamui Woods agreed, as he felt that she would only aggravate herself even more as she could barely move as she is now unable to participate in this match.

"Look at her…she's clearly in bad shape."

"I agree."

"What is she after? She should know her limit after what happened…"

"Either she intend to win the prize money or wanted to personally eliminate Suiryu…considering what he did…"

"Oh come on…"

"She should let Bakugo do that…"

"I agree…"

"Well…"

Edge Shot and Hawks then commented that they have a feeling that Suiryu would take advantage as he might use this as an opportunity to get Bakugo to lower his guard as he appeared to be aware of the fact that Bakugo and Uraraka are both UA Academy students, and the two pro heroes agreed with what Mount Lady and Kamui Woods said, that Uraraka should withdraw as she is now unable to defend herself due to the injury she sustained.

"There's no doubt about it…she's clearly in no shape to continue."

"I agree."

"Are you serious about Uraraka wanting to win because of the prize money…?"

"Either that…or wanted to personally eliminate Suiryu…after what he did to her earlier…"

"Oh come on… that's quite…"

"Nevertheless. She should let Bakugo do that…he might have a better chance to eliminate Suiryu..."

"I agree…"

"Well…"

By then Kirishima and Kendo came back, as the latter got patched up as she is given treatment and that she only suffered a mild injury and she would recover in a week, and joined Ojiro as the three UA students see that Bakugo appeared to have a better chance in eliminating Suiryu from the match, and from there that would bring the question on whether to eliminate Uraraka or not should they be the remaining ones in the arena.

"If Bakugo managed to eliminate Suiryu…"

"Then it'll be down to Bakugo himself and Uraraka..."

"Yeah…"

"But then what would happen after…?"

"Huh?"

"Eh?"

"Would Bakugo fight Uraraka in her current state? Or would he let her win?"

"…"

By then Bakugo managed to land a punch on Suiryu's lips, further BUSTING HIM OPEN, and as Suiryu managed to evade the next blow, he was able to get past him and went straight towards Uraraka, and he appeared to be poised to SPIT BLOOD on her eyes, prompting her to react instinctively as she uses her arms to cover her face from his actions.

However, it turns out to be a ruse as he successfully tricked her and he grabbed her, just as Bakugo lunges forward to grab him, but Suiryu's crafty mind kicks in and got behind Uraraka and he shoved her forward, and as he hoped, Bakugo was charging quick that he was unable to stop at the last minute, and he ACCIDENTALLY SPEARED Uraraka on her ribcage, causing her to fall to the floor, and her face shows that she is grimacing further in pain she clutched her right ribcage while in a fetal-like position.

Bakugo was surprised by the turn of events, realizing that he accidentally injured her further, and the distraction allowed Suiryu to take advantage as he went behind Bakugo and did a LOW BLOW on Bakugo and the younger boy knelt down in pain, then Suiryu lifted and carried Uraraka in a BRIDAL STYLE and went towards the edge of the arena and threw her out, but Uraraka managed to hold onto the edge of the arena as she fights the pain to avoid getting eliminated.

The fangirls got excited, yet they were pissed at seeing Uraraka holding onto DEAR LIFE, and there the rude fangirls stood up and cheered on to Suiryu, urging her to eliminate Uraraka while mocking her at the same time, seeing her as someone beneath them as they displayed a complete lack of respect to other competitors.

"Go, Suiryu!"

"Go for it! Kick that piglet on her side! She can't mount a comeback!"

"This is your chance! Kick that bitch out of the arena! Get rid of that piglet! Do it now!"

"She's too ugly to win!"

"And a bit overweight!"

"Do away with that piglet!"

"Win, Suiryu!"

"Win for us!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as the finals of the tournament closing in to the climatic moment…with Uraraka's injury getting worse after Suiryu managed to worm his way out of a sticky predicament and used Bakugo to inflict more damage to her and further weakened her…

And now Uraraka is in a pinch as she is on the verge of elimination as she is holding onto the side of the arena edge, but with her injuries aggravating her, her chances of winning is now a question on whether she could hold on or her body would give in…

The next chapter starts the countdown of the final moments of the finals…as Bakugo tries his hand in taking Suiryu out of the arena in a last ditch effort…and see whether he succeeds or not…
