Ch. 49: Budō tōnamento part 21

The scene shows that Bakugo is getting aggressive as he pushes his way forward while delivering a barrage of punches as Suiryu uses his arms to block the blows but he is starting to buckle under pressure as he sees that Bakugo is steadily trying to puncture the defenses and Suiryu could feel his arms getting painful due to the ongoing blows that Bakugo unleashed, and he realized that he has to do something or his arms would give way and get injured in the process.

Majority of the audience are now cheering for Bakugo seeing that he is giving his all and doesn't showboat or grandstanding, and they urged Bakugo to eliminate Suiryu because the latter is an eyesore and a dirty player who doesn't fight fair like what he did to Kendo and Uraraka earlier.

"Go, Bakugo!"

"Go for it!"

"Eliminate that damn Suiryu!"

"Show that braggart who is the real fighter!"

"Bakugo! Bakugo!"

By then Bakugo managed to get through his opponent's defenses, and found an opening which he took advantage and land a punch on Suiryu's lips, further BUSTING HIM OPEN, and as Suiryu managed to evade the next blow, he was able to get past him and went straight towards Uraraka, and he appeared to be poised to SPIT BLOOD on her eyes, prompting her to react instinctively as she uses her arms to cover her face from his actions.

However, it turns out to be a ruse as he successfully tricked her and he grabbed her, just as Bakugo lunges forward to grab him, but Suiryu's crafty mind kicks in and got behind Uraraka and he shoved her forward, and as he hoped, Bakugo was charging quick that he was unable to stop at the last minute, and he ACCIDENTALLY SPEARED Uraraka on her ribcage, causing her to fall to the floor, and her face shows that she is grimacing further in pain she clutched her right ribcage while in a fetal-like position.

Bakugo was surprised by the turn of events, realizing that he accidentally injured her further, and the distraction allowed Suiryu to take advantage as he went behind Bakugo and did a LOW BLOW on Bakugo and the younger boy knelt down in pain, clutching his groins, then Suiryu lifted and carried Uraraka in a BRIDAL STYLE and went towards the edge of the arena and threw her out, but Uraraka managed to hold onto the edge of the arena as she fights the pain to avoid getting eliminated.

The fangirls got excited, yet they were pissed at seeing Uraraka holding onto DEAR LIFE, and there the rude fangirls stood up and cheered on to Suiryu, urging her to eliminate Uraraka while mocking her at the same time, seeing her as someone beneath them as they displayed a complete lack of respect to other competitors.

"Go, Suiryu!"

"Go for it! Kick that piglet on her side! She can't mount a comeback!"

"This is your chance! Kick that bitch out of the arena! Get rid of that piglet! Do it now!"

"She's too ugly to win!"

"And a bit overweight!"

"Do away with that piglet!"

"Win, Suiryu!"

"Win for us!"

As the audience members saw what transpired, they all erupted in a chorus of boos as they did not like what Suiryu did as it was very clear that aside from being an act of cowardice, it was dirty and considered cheating, and they hurled angry words and said that even if Suiryu wins the tournament there would be no one to respect him and hoped that someone else would teach him humility even if it would be a painful one.

"Damn you, Suiryu!"

"You coward! That was dirty!"

"Even if you win this tournament, we won't cheer for you!"

"You're not worth our respect!"

"Damn you!"

Mount Lady was fuming at seeing what Suiryu did, and both Edge Shot and Kamui Woods grappled her and urged her to calm down, saying that the match is still ongoing and that anything can happen, reasoning that Uraraka is holding on and that Bakugo can recover and get even, yet Mount Lady said that Suiryu shouldn't be in the tournament in the first place due to how dirty he fights, yet Hawks reminded her and the others that in this match anything goes, hence Suiryu is free to use whatever tactics he deem fit to help win this match.

"Even though I don't like it, rules says anything goes. As long as weapons and Quirks are not involved, it's pretty much legal. Be it a low blow or groping one's breasts…it's all legal in this match."

"But…but…"

"Hawks is right, Mount Lady. We can't do anything."

"We can only watch."

"You heard the boys, Lady. Just sit back and watch. It's not over yet. We might see an unexpected upset, so cool off and stay calm."

"…"

"Easy, Mount Lady. Easy…"

"He's right. Chill."

Mountain Ape and Eyelashes were sympathetic towards Uraraka, seeing that she is in a disadvantage and felt that she should concede as she is in no condition to continue the match due to her injuries, but Fubuki told her two subordinates to keep observing the match, pointing out that Uraraka is still in the match as she is holding on to dear life as she is trying not to get herself eliminated.

"Huh?"

"You're saying that she can still win?"

"Yes. Uraraka is still in the match. If she can still manage to move and re-enter the arena, she still has a chance. Suiryu's arrogance will be a deciding factor here."

"Seriously, boss?"

"For real? Uraraka is in a precarious position! How can she…?"

"Keep watching. The next several minutes would be crucial…"

"Okay."

"…"

Meanwhile, Suiryu sees that Uraraka is holding onto the edge of the arena, and decided to go for it and began kicking her on the face to get her to let go, and to his surprise Uraraka would not budge as her face is swelling and bruising, as well as her lips were BUSTED and began bleeding despite being kicked repeatedly by Suiryu, and there he tells her to give it up, but she would not give in despite the pain she is experiencing.

Kirishima, Kendo and Ojiro were cheering on for Uraraka and urged her to keep on fighting and show Suiryu that she is not to be taken lightly after the harassments she endured in his hands, reminding her of the reasons why she wanted to win the tournament in the first place.

"Uraraka!"

"Hang in there!"

"Don't give in!"

"Try climbing back to the arena!"

"You can do it!"

"Go for it!"

"Uraraka!"

Suiryu is starting to get a bit irritated and kicked her harder on her face, BUSTING HER OPEN and blood spilled onto the edge of the arena, and this further eliciting sympathy towards Uraraka and the boos towards Suiryu got louder than before, and they urged Uraraka not to give up as they now admire her guts and fighting spirit.

But the fangirls would not allow themselves to be overshadowed and began cheering for Suiryu and hurled INSULTS towards Uraraka, seemingly forgetting the warnings they received earlier from other audience members who were ticked off at their antics.

"Go, Suiryu!"

"Go for it! Kick that piglet on her side! She can't mount a comeback!"

"This is your chance! Kick that bitch out of the arena! Get rid of that piglet! Do it now!"

"She's too ugly to win!"

"And a bit overweight!"

"Do away with that piglet!"

"Win, Suiryu!"

"Win for us!"

As Suiryu stared in disbelief at seeing that Uraraka wouldn't let go, he is considering in doing something extreme in order for her to let go, but then a recovered Bakugo sneaked behind Suiryu and did a strong ear slap on both Suiryu's ears, which disoriented the latter, and there Bakugo began to beat him up and attempted to throw him out of the arena, which Uraraka fought the pain on her face and ribcage as she attempted to get back inside the arena.

Suiryu attempted to try get past Bakugo but the latter continue to grapple onto his opponent, and there Bakugo locked Suiryu in a bearhug as he attempted to drag himself and his opponent towards the edge of the arena, and Suiryu tells him that he is risking himself to get eliminated, which Bakugo said that he won't mind it as he would rather let Uraraka win the finals than let Suiryu win for the dirty tactics and harassment methods he committed to the two girls earlier.

"Are you crazy?!"

"So what if I am?"

"You're going to eliminate yourself in this match?"

"Its better for both of us to get eliminated than letting you win for the sexual harassment tactics you used on the girls!"

"Let go!"

"Hah!"

"Let go, you damn kid!"

"Shut the fuck up, you molester!"

Uraraka was clearly in pain as she struggled to get back inside the arena, but her efforts paid off as she got back inside, and turning around, she saw Suiryu is on the verge of breaking free from Bakugo's grasp, and realizing her current state, she had to take a risk as she willed herself to move and charged towards the two other competitors, ramming them, and the impact was strong enough to send both Bakugo and Suiryu off the arena and went outside.

The referee saw it as both Bakugo and Suiryu hit the ground, and he raised his hand, signaling that the two are eliminated, and glanced at the center of the arena, where Uraraka, bleeding from her nose and lips due to being kicked by Suiryu a moment ago, knelt down as she is clutching her ribcage while in pain, is kneeling down, panting due to the pain she is in.

There the referee whispered to the ring announcer, and a few seconds later, the ring announcer spoke via the microphone that Uraraka is the winner of the tournament, which Kirishima, Kendo and Ojiro were overjoyed, and rushed towards the arena and hugged Uraraka, telling her that she won the tournament.

"Uraraka!"

"Uraraka! You did it!"

"You won! You're the champion!"

"Hang in there!"

"We got you! Now relax a bit!"

"Yeah, you earned it!"

"Okay, let's have the medics check on you!"

"Lets hope it's not a bad injury.!"

"Congratulations, Uraraka."

Suiryu stared wide-eyed in shock and disbelief at what just happened, and a neutral-looking Bakugo said that Suiryu got what he deserved for fighting dirty as well as for showing disrespect towards Kendo and Uraraka for the INAPPROPRIATE ACTIONS he committed, and there he made a cryptic comment which confused Suiryu as Bakugo went to the arena and joined his fellow UA students in helping Uraraka up as she is still in pain due to her injured ribcage.

The audience members are impressed with the outcome and came to admire Uraraka's determination despite the physical situation she was in, and gave her a rousing ovation and cheered her on which somewhat surprised the pro heroes who were in attendance, seeing that Uraraka's patience and determination have paid off.

"Uraraka! Uraraka! Uraraka! Uraraka!"

Mountain Ape and Eyelashes were impressed at the ending of the match, though they wondered why Bakugo allowed himself to be eliminated as they believed that he would have gotten a bigger chance to win, though Fubuki suspected that Bakugo has a rather GENEROUS motive in letting Uraraka win the tournament, much to her two subordinates' bafflement.

"Huh?"

"You're saying that Bakugo allowed himself to get eliminated on purpose?"

"Yes. It seems that there is a reason for allowing himself to be the bait. He could have fought Suiryu but he chose to grapple onto his opponent and allowed Uraraka to do the finishing blow."

"Seriously, boss?"

"For real? What would Bakugo gain for letting Uraraka win…?"

"Although the tournament is over, keep watching. The next few moments would be crucial…"

"Huh?"

"What do you mean…?"

"…"

Snakefist Snek sighed as he commented that Suiryu made a rather fatal error by focusing too much on Uraraka, reasoning that with Uraraka in such physical state was easy to exploit, due to her weakened state, and Suiryu should have focused on Bakugo instead due to him being a bigger threat, but then it is too late as Uraraka managed to win through sheer willpower alone.

Lightning Max then said that Suiryu's next battle is up next, which Snek glanced at Max, asking him what he meant, which the other pro hero smirked and said that the NEXT BATTLE would commence shortly afterwards.

"Hold on, Max..."

"The match is over. What do you mean that there would be a next battle…?"

"You'll soon see…"

"Huh?"

"…"

"Hey, what's with the smirk…?"

"Its about to happen soon, Snek..."

"Eh…?"

Hope you liked this chapter, as the finals of the tournament ended in a surprising fashion…as Uraraka won and became the tournament champion. Although the Blizzard Group, Lightning Max and Snek suspect that a FOLLOW-UP BATTLE is about to take place shortly.
