Ch. 54: Samurai ga kokuin sa rete imasu part 4

At the driver's seat, the driver is twitching his eye as he is bewildered by what is happening, even though he seemed to be expecting this after discussing with May Bannon several hours ago, but what he didn't expect is that the Paradisers would be THAT MANY, which they seemingly puts the Yoroi Musha Hero Agency team at bay as he expects that Yoroi Musha would handle this with ease.

But what he didn't expect is that there would be more of the Paradisers showing up, and May admitted that she didn't anticipate something like this, yet she is confident that Yoroi Musha and his interns would emerge triumphant and chase the Paradisers away for good.

"Don't worry. Everything will be okay."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"I thought that Yoroi Musha would handle them easily given his ranking…"

"Have faith. I didn't approach Mr. Musha if I know that he is weak…"

"I see…"

"Now sit back and relax."

"Okay."

As the Paradisers seemingly halted their assault, Yoroi Musha tried to observe what is happening as the attack stopped, but as he took a peek, a laser blast attack from the Paradiser troopers almost hit him and the No. 9 pro hero head back behind the van as he is now thinking of coming up with a new strategy to counter the Paradisers, sensing that there may be more of them lurking nearby, and there he told his interns to retreat and hid behind the van.

"Pinky! Can't Stop Twinkling!"

"Yes sir!"

"Fall back! We need to regroup!"

"Okay!"

"Hurry!"

"Yes sir!"

Ashido and Aoyama went back behind the van and convened with Yoroi Musha, asking him what is going on, as more Paradiser troopers showed up, and there the Equipped Hero told the two interns to wait for his signal on when to spring out as he would find an opening to scatter the Paradiser troopers before Ashido and Aoyama would strike using their long-distance attacks via their Quirks.

"Pinky! Can't Stop Twinkling!"

"Yes sir!"

"Wait for my call! The moment we find an opening…we attack as quickly as possible!"

"Okay!"

"Lets do it!"

"Yes sir!"

As the Yoroi Musha Hero Agency team began to prepare in planning a counter-attack, the scene shows that the Paradisers are being confronted by the pro heroes from the Heroes Association, who are themed after some samurai-like motif, and there Atomic Samurai, Iaian, Okamaitachi, and Bushidril stood there as they took down several Paradiser troopers.

Atomic Samurai told Hammerhead to take a hike as they won't win this and said that instead of robbing and hijacking, the Paradisers should go seek employment, and even offered that, if Hammerhead is willing, he could recommend the Paradisers to join the Heroes Association, which Hammerhead assume that Atomic Samurai is mocking him out of spite.

"I mean it. You can become a pro hero. You can earn faster…"

"Are you taking me for a fool?"

"Huh?"

"We Paradisers refuse to work! We're not slaves!"

"So you rather steal from others? Fine. Then we'll foil you after we got word about what you lazy bums are going to do."

"What?"

"Heh…"

"Damn…"

Hammerhead is in disbelief as he wondered how pro heroes were able to find out about this situation, yet he is undeterred as he is determined to complete the job and collect the reward money from the client, and there he told his Paradiser troopers to kill and slay anyone that gets in their way until the van is secured, which the Paradiser troopers roared in acknowledgement.

"Kill them! Kill them all! Unload everything you got…kill them on sight! But make sure that the items are not harmed or damaged! Got that?"

"Yes sir!"

Sighing, Atomic Samurai told his three disciples to go and unleash everything they got, but if possible knock them out since the Paradisers are only human and not MONSTERS, hence it might help if the Paradisers are alive and might get information from them, which Iaian, Okamaitachi, and Bushidril nodded in acknowledgement.

"Beat them silly if you want…but we need them alive."

"Okay!"

"Until then…have fun!"

"Okay!"

As the Paradisers began to mount an offensive assault, Iaian, Okamaitachi, and Bushidril responded by commencing a counter-assault, and steadily took down the Paradiser troopers by shattering their weapons and armor before knocking them out, putting them out of commission and the numbers are declining rapidly, shifting the tide away from the Paradisers.

Atomic Samurai then confronted Hammerhead and the latter stared wide-eyed as his troopers are being knocked out, and soon finds himself being the only one left, and there Atomic Samurai tells Hammerhead to surrender and quit this mercenary job, saying that stealing won't get him anywhere and that seeking a job is better than committing a crime.

"I mean it. Stealing is not a good option for you. If you want to earn faster…"

"Are you taking me for a fool? No way! I won't work!"

"Huh?"

"We Paradisers refuse to work! We're not slaves! We want to enjoy!"

"Is that your answer? So you rather steal from others? Fine. Then we'll beat you up silly until we get answers from you."

"What?"

"Heh…"

"Damn…"

As the sounds of battle went silent, Ashido slowly went out and look around, surprised to see that the Paradisers are knocked out, and by then Iaian, Okamaitachi, and Bushidril came and were taken aback by Ashido's appearance, and mistakenly assumed that she is a MONSTER, and they began to attack her, believing that she is with the Paradisers.

"Hey! Look!"

"A monster!"

"Get her!"

"EEEEEEKKKKK!"

"Don't let her get away!"

"Slice her down!"

"I got her!"

"Someone help!"

Hagakure saw this and went into action, physically distracting the three disciples of Atomic Samurai, and the three pro heroes realize that there is another MONSTER in their midst due to Hagakure's invisibility Quirk, which Hagakure resented and reiterated that she is human and not a MONSTER.

"Hey! There is someone else here!"

"Another monster!"

"Get her!"

"Hey! I'm not a monster!"

"Don't let her get away!"

"Slice her down!"

"You got it!"

"I'm not a monster, damn it!"

As Iaian Okamaitachi and Bushidril continue to assault Ashido, she is unable to use her Quirk as she is avoiding the sword slashes, which prompted Yoroi Musha and Aoyama to come out and confronted Atomic Samurai's disciples, and due to low light and poor visibility, Yoroi Musha failed to recognize the three pro heroes, and the same goes for the three, seemingly unable to recognize Yoroi Musha's appearance.

Through observation, Yoroi Musha noted that the three sword-wielding persons are seemingly Quirkless, and told his three interns that they should apply the training, reminding them that they are students of UA Academy who are training to become pro heroes, and Ashido, Hagakure and Aoyama nodded in response.

"Don't be discouraged! You are students of UA Academy! This is your chance to prove that you have what it takes to become a pro hero!"

"Okay!"

"Show them why you have the heart of a hero!"

"Okay!"

Iaian blinked his eyes at hearing this, and asked for a ceasefire, which a wary Yoroi Musha reluctantly obliges, and as the two sides stopped, Iaian uses a flashlight and got a clear look on Yoroi Musha, and finally recognize him and realized that he and his teammates were fighting the wrong opponents, and tells Okamaitachi and Bushidril that they made a mistake, telling them that Yoroi Musha is the number nine pro hero.

However, Okamaitachi asked why Yoroi Musha has two MONSTERS with him if he is a pro hero, and there Ashido and Hagakure were annoyed and showed their provisional hero license, explaining to them that they too are humans and are training to be pro heroes, which Iaian calms Okamaitachi down, assuring that everything is a misunderstanding.

"Easy, Okamaitachi…"

"But…those two…"

"Its okay. They're not MONSTERS..."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"How can you…?"

"Trust me on this…"

"…"

Likewise, Yoroi Musha urged Ashido and Hagakure to calm down, saying that it is normal for them to be mistaken for something but assured that things have been cleared up, though the two girls are still annoyed that they were mistaken for MONSTERS when they are really not.

"Easy now, girls…"

"But those guys…!"

"They called us MONSTERS…!"

"Its an honest mistake. There's no harm done…"

"Eh?"

"But…"

"Its okay now…"

"…"

Soon Atomic Samurai came, informing his disciples that Hammerhead managed to get away, and soon he learned of what happened while getting to meet with Yoroi Musha, but things got a bit awkward as Atomic Samurai refuse to shake hands with the Yoroi Musha Hero Agency team, reiterating that he ONLY ACKNOWLEDGE THE STRONG.

There he told Hagakure, Ashido and Aoyama to get stronger, and said that once they are ON HIS LEVEL he would greet them properly. As Atomic Samurai and his disciples round up the unconscious Paradiser troopers, the three interns were annoyed by Atomic Samurai's arrogance, though Yoroi Musha assured to the interns that there is no need to get riled up over something like what they were told about.

"That samurai jerk!"

"Who does he think he is?"

"What nerve he has!"

"Now, now…settle down…at least they helped in dealing with the Paradisers..."

"Calling us MONSTERS is one thing…but saying that we're not strong?"

"Does he think that we look like amateurs?"

"That guy is full of himself!"

"Its fine. No harm done, so settle down now…"

After that, Yoroi Musha and his interns resume in escorting May Bannon to her mansion and successfully arrived without trouble, as the auctioned items are intact and she paid Yoroi Musha and his interns well while assuring to them that their HEROIC DEEDS would be told on her blog.

A few days later, at Heights Alliance, Ashido and Hagakure were talking with their classmates, ranting about how Atomic Samurai's disciples mistaking them as MONSTERS whilst making it clear that Atomic Samurai himself is so full of himself, saying that that he ONLY ACKNOWLEDGE THE STRONG and doesn't greet those who he perceive as WEAKER THAN HIM, which made Kirishima and Bakugo feel that Atomic Samurai needs to be taught a lesson in humility.

"What? That Atomic guy is so UNMANLY!"

"Hmph. If I were there I'd show him who is strong…"

"I sure wish that would happen, Bakugo…"

"Yeah, I'd like to see that samurai creep get a dose of his own medicine…"

"I agree! If I get the chance I'd show him who is strong!"

"Same here!"

"You said it!"

"Right on!"

Suddenly, Fumikage Tokoyami received a text message and abruptly left Heights Alliance, and several minutes later, he is outside UA Academy where Hawks is waiting for him, and the number two pro hero told Tokoyami that they are being summoned by the chief of the police force, Kenji Tsurugamae, saying that a villain is causing trouble at a town, and said that this particular situation involves BIRDS.

"Huh? Birds?"

"Yup. Birds."

"As in…?"

"Mammals with wings that can fly…"

"And so we're involved?"

"Looks like it. So do you accept?"

"Yes."

"Good. Let's go."

The scene shifts somewhere at another part of the city, where an individual is standing on the rooftop of a skyscraper, in which his costume resembles a suit of bird-like armor and took on a more humanoid form. In this form, he gained an extra pair of wings, armor-like scales across his body, a large avian eye in the center of his chest, and a helmet-shaped as the head of a phoenix. His human face was also now visible, residing within the beak of the phoenix head, though it was mostly obscured by shadow save for his piercing, glowing eyes.

This individual is clearly a villain, and is identified as Phoenix Man, and there he is plotting something that would show chaos in the city, and there he is eyeing someone at the ground as he perceive someone as a threat to him, where the scene shifts below where pro hero Ryukyu is seen assisting the police in rounding up some low-key criminals, and Phoenix Man is determined to put Ryukyu out of the way due to the nature of her powers.

Hope you liked this chapter, as this concludes the Paradisers x Atomic Samurai arc, in which the two groups got into a fight with Yoroi Musha and his interns, which ended rather peacefully.

The ending here serves as a spoiler as the next villain of the arc features Phoenix Man, in which it is implied that the next story arc would involve flight, as Hawks and Ryukyu are shown.
