A/N I got inspired to have Autumn go back to Sodor another day and comfort Thomas. In other time I talk about Thomas losing his siblings, he wailed his broken heart out off and on for days.

Autumn was bored one day. It was too rainy to go outside for anything other than a car trip and had been all day. She wanted to do something other than what she had all day other than church time, playing indoors, toys and her favorite games on tablet or watching Thomas stuff, so she sat on her bed, looking dreamily at her toy Thomas and floated away to Sodor.

Autumn arrived on Sodor and sang The Island Song. She saw Thomas on a siding nearby and went to her friend. He had the saddest look, so she said, "Cast out all your sadness, Thomas. Don't suppress your tears. I'm here for you, because heaven has decided I will be your shoulder to cry on. Cast out all your sadness. You will feel better.", as she hugged his face. She let go and pulled out her handkerchief, sensing it was close enough to the time of her last visit here her friend was still broken-hearted about his siblings.

Thomas began to cry as hard as ever he could, wailing loudly from his grief as great tears streamed from his eyes.

Autumn said, "There, there, Thomas. Let it all out. I know you've got a broken heart and that's okay in your situation, so let me wipe your eyeballs. I'm here for you, to wipe your pain away.", as she softly dried his tears, rubbing his cheeks and wiping his wet eyes. She did her best to be attentive and present, imagining how her friend must feel, thought of the context and something else to inspire him.

Thomas let out another wailing sob. He was sniffling hard, coughing, choking on his tears and hiccupping. He gasped and gulped, shaking as his eyes poured tears not once stopping and let Autumn comfort him.

She said, as she continued to wipe his tears away, "Remember what I said about how I don't want to rush your healing or put a positive spin on things. I love you, Thomas, my friend." She held her hanky to his eyes, letting him cry into it and wiped all his tears away as best she could.

Thomas cried and wailed until he had no more tears left. Autumn gently dried his last tears away, wiping his face and eyes dry of tears. As she finished wiping away her friend's tears, he said, "Do you think you need to dry my tears or I might rust, anything like that? I don't want you to do it if it's a struggle for you, just stick to hugging or talking. You're just a child and my eyes are so big, it's not worth it to me if it bothers you.". His face was red and his eyes were deep pink and swollen from crying.

Autumn said, after saying some inspiring words, "It's no problem for me to wipe your eyeballs. I just wasn't quite tall enough before, but now I love to wipe your eyes because I love you that much. I came here just to wipe away your tears. Time for me to visit the rest of this island and then see you again later.", as she put her sodden handkerchief away.

Thomas looked softly at Autumn, "I'm very touched by your love. Someone was quite mean to me, said "Cry-engine! Bawling your eyes out!". But you came here just to wipe my tears."

"You poor Thomas," Autumn said, as she left her friend and went off to other places.

Autumn made her rounds, seeing all her engine friends, then came back to Thomas, who was wailing his broken heart out again. His driver pressed a cloth to his eyes.

Autumn said, "I'll stay here.". And she did, until Thomas finished his cry. Then, she hugged his face and said, "Good-bye, Thomas. I want you to cry to me if I return to this island during your grief. If I come here and find you in tears, I'll hug you because I'm not afraid to let your feelings splash onto me and dry your tears. I'll dry your eyeballs as long as needed."

"Good-bye, Autumn," her friend said, as she left Sodor.

Autumn went home and played with her favorite toys until her bedtime routine. Then, after her bedtime story, she fell asleep hugging her stuffed Thomas.

A/N I got inspired to use something Rosie Angelina used, slightly tweaked. Even though Autumn's just very loosely based on me (her personality attributes, other than dreaminess, stated in her first story I created, her being autistic, but able to say, "Cute choo-choo" at almost 3 and her physical traits), I decided to make her a Sunday School kid. In my first Autumn story, I said she went to Sodor when bored among the reasons she's gone there in previous chapters. I always in my head, have had these chapters happen on her birthday, weekends, though Friday night or Saturday, or school vacation, like when it's been a summer set chapter. In Autumn's daydreams, I'll do things I don't do, except with my OCs otherwise.
