I think notifications are restored now, but just in case, do comment "Ariem" if you read this chapter.

Speaking of Ariem, I'm gonna come out and say it: Sonic Dream Team is pretty good. Not fantastic, but pretty good. Story is a little too simple and it felt a bit rushed, but being as it's a mobile game, i guess that's to be expected. Rouge and Cream sounded very weird to me as well, but that's just my opinion. The overall animation (when it wasn't a slide show) was fire though. I did hear it will be getting updates, so maybe all this will improve later on. And maybe it comes to consoles and PC as a port someday.

Still, the fact a mobile game has better animation than the last mainline console/PC game is insane to me...

Lord Metallex:

And let us not forget The End Titan boss where it was able to damage Cyber Super Sonic. The last time sonic got damaged in game as super was Unleashed.

Bakuganman: Yes, this is true. I actually kinda liked that in Unleashed, Super Sonic also had a health gauge. The music of the final battle always slaps no matter how many times I replay it.

Benxenofan06:

For power scaling don't worry I think you have it mostly right. The ancient's technology is far above anything eggman or humanity had ever created. The cannons you see on chaos island Tails said they rival the eclipse cannon and that thing had enough power to destroy the world at max power. The ancient's built muliptle cannons on par with it and when they fired it at the end there were 24 of them and I did count them.

Meaning that The End ate 24 planet busting level attacks like nothing. The Titans were the ancients final strongest solution against the end so they must be stronger than those cannons plus I forgot where it was stated but they rival Super Sonic in power that's why they can kill him so easily sometimes

And Ian Flynn confirmed The End is Sonic's second strongest villain with Solaris being the first

Bakuganman: Thanks for mostly agreeing with me, and yes, I am aware of the lore behind the Ancients Eclipse Cannon-like cannons. I didn't leave an Island or start a Titan fight until I 100% one. And yes, I heard that The End was that strong too; though a nitpick to that argument is Solaris always did 10 or 20 ring damage depending on which attack used, while The End additionally reduced Super Sonic's max ring count by 10 but only when it used its homing cyber energy spheres. Then there was its Freza-ball attack that did a HUGE chunk of ring damage which makes Ian's claim somewhat inconsistent.

I guess one can say because The End directly controlled [and clearly also empowered] Supreme in the DLC, that could be a valid counterpoint why that is the case... or I could be overthinking it again. Lol.

brolyk445:

Let me guess season 2 is gonna be sonic frontiers. But the real question is, Are you doing the cannon ending or the Dlc ending?

Bakuganman: Technically, the second half of the DxD cannon will be Frontiers, as the Holy Sword Arc will be happening first. And I said this once before so you probably missed it, but for this story, I'll be treating the DLC as a sequel. I'll also be expanding on the Koco.

Lildeevil:

Optional musicplay your favorite music for the next paragraph only

My favorite song: Faint-Linkin' Park

I think you probably should've been more specific bud

Bakuganman: Nah, but that's a good song though. (For whatever reason, this review was posted twice lol)

barbatos009:

Love how you're tying both the Frontiers and DxD worlds together with Ancients and the three factions working with each other to stop The End and I can't wait to see how you tackle that in the DxD world.

Bakuganman: I can't wait to get to that point either.

Guest:

Bakuganman: Your welcome. I noticed some people change Issei too, mainly because they misinterpret he's a total pervert, which he is, but he has his redeeming qualities. Same with Rias or even the innocent Asia. That's also okay Sonic isn't your thing either, as I do have a section of this fanbase which isn't really into DxD and only here for Sonic, which is fine. May the force be with you too, young Sky Walker.

Season 1 Epilogue - Page 3

Back with Issei and Rias on the beach; around the same time Sonic, Akeno and Koneko were getting lost in the strange temple; they were still struggling to stand up while still slipping along each other due to Rias' tanning oil. Right as they were about to call the others for help, the orb of light that was watching them from the trees slowly came out, then spun around the 2 Devils with sparkles dancing around them. This somehow caused both the Devils to slowly be lifted up off the beach but only a foot or two, then they were placed next to each other back on the sand very gently.

Issei and Rias looked surprised at what was going on, but at least once they were put back down, they were able to finally stand up. Issei and Rias had no response to this at first.

"A sprite?" Rias questioned while she held her arms over her breasts for some form of modesty, thinking that's what this ball of light was. Though it didn't verbally answer, it floated around Issei and Rias, the 2 Devils keeping a close eye on it.

"Uh... thanks." Issei said. He was kinda happy Rias called this thing a Sprite and not an Undine... he didn't want to deal with that again.

"... yeah... thank you." Rias said, fixing her suit with her hands and also getting her shirt back on with a wave of her hand, using magic to have it float above and over her body... she also shot a glance at Issei. She'll deal with him later...

"Issei..." Issei didn't know why, but he felt a voice speak inside his head. It sounded like a girl, and it did echo a little bit. Seeing as the Sprite was the only other person here, and the echoing voice didn't sound like any of his other friends, then it was only logical that the voice must've belonged to the Sprite.

[Don't touch it!] Ddraig cut in as a warning in a loud voice, speaking to both Issei and Rias. But before either of them could respond or get away from the Sprite, it quickly rushed into their faces. Issei's and Rias tried to wave it off with a hand wave, not feeling it necessary to use magic, but their visions quickly went to white.

When their vision returned, they blinked a few times, seeing a temple with a snake head in front of them where the ocean was originally in the middle of what appeared to be a village of some sort. Additionally, there was no longer sand beneath their feet, but what appeared to be stone with grass growing underneath it from not being maintained. A large flight of stairs before them lead up to the temple, which had a snake aesthetic, and one of the 2 statues before it was broken. Around them, buildings and more stairs to different pathways were all in early stages of decomposition, and some brush and large trees were beginning to grow which again was due to no one being able to maintain the appearance for whatever reason.

No, this old temple was not the same as what Koneko, Akeno and Sonic stumbled upon. It was... newer, if that made any sense. Where they heck were they anyway? Weren't they just on the beach?

"Did you... transport us to Keishoji?" Issei asked Rias, which no these ruins didn't entirely match those ruins, but it was his best guess.

[This isn't even Japan.] Ddraig said before Rias could give an answer.

"Then, where are we?" Asked Rias, giving her surroundings a second look. From what she could tell, these were definitely ruins but while they did appear aged, they didn't look that old either. It's like they were transported to a civilization that was either wiped out or simply migrated somewhere else, and no one was left to tend to the architecture and infrastructure and keep it fresh.

[No idea. But that ball of light definitely has a strong power. Gave me an uneasy vibe.] Ddraig admitted. [Whatever it is, it isn't a Sprite. Nor a Pixie or any similar species for that matter.]

"Issei..." Speaking of that ball of light, they heard it shining again, though not before Issei heard his name in his head a second time by the same voice. It made Issei turn around first, with Rias following his gaze. With Ddraig's warning, they also kept their guards up.

"Why are you calling me?" Issei asked the orb, but it only continued to hover around them.

"Who's calling you?" Rias raised an eyebrow before asking Issei that in a confused tone.

Issei turned his head towards Rias. "You don't hear it?"

[Hear what?] Ddraig asked also in a confused tone, making Issei look back at his arm... could they not hear the voice? Not even Ddraig, who basically lived inside him rent free?

The ball continued floating towards the temple itself, slowing going up the stairs side to side as if it was walking. It was here Issei darted after the orb.

"Issei!" Rias called him but he was too focused on following the ball of light.

[Don't you listen?! Stay away from it!] Ddraig warned again out of concern for his host. But just like with Rias, Issei paid neither of them any mind and just kept running up the stairs after the orb. When the orb flew inside the temple main door, which was the head of the snake, with Issei only shy behind it. When he did make it up, the inside of the snakes mouth appeared to be a dead end.

"The hell...?" Issei asked himself out loud, slowly stepping further into the dead end... so whatever civilization here just made a huge temple, and after all that time and effort just to give it a front door that leads to nowhere?... that is, until the floor below him retracted. Not expecting it, he looked down to see it had happened so fast, then he fell all the way down, his cries getting lower and lower till you heard a small thud.

No. Wasn't a trap. That was the door.

Rias was then shown descending gently from the hole in the ceiling using her wings, having flew inside to follow Issei, then closed them after landing above him but stepped aside to give him room to recover. Issei lifted his head off the ground.

Issei: ... why me...?

Looking on ahead, it didn't look like they could go any further, as a a huge gate was blocking the way. Some pillars were in the room, but that's all they could really see as the way to the right was clearly a path but the structure of these ruins blocked it off from their vision. Plus for whatever reason, up ahead was a pool of water.

"So... what, it's an ancient bathroom?" Rias asked, not being entirely serious. However, they heard twinkling again, and they saw the orb of light come down from the hole in the ceiling they came from... how was it doing that?!

The orb floated towards the doors, and as if responding to its presence, the gates opened slowly upwards with rumbling sounds. They didn't open very fast either, which was because of primitive technology or perhaps the gears (or whatever mechanism was involved) wasn't given proper maintenance in however long this site had been closed off. Even then, the orb wasn't done, and then floated towards the duo. Both Rias and Issei took defensive stances, and even the latter brought out his Gear.

That's when the orb glowed, and in the blink of an eye, it swirled quickly around Issei, surrounding him with white lights which looked oddly similar to Sonic's Light Speed Attack before rushing away. What ended up happening was the main gem on Issei's Boosted Gear glowed with the same color of light for a few seconds which only got brighter...

FLASH!

Issei's Balance Breaker was then triggered. "Huh? What the...?!" He asked while looking over himself, as he didn't even trigger that function of his Boosted Gear. It happened all by itself!

"What? What's wrong Issei? Talk to me!" Rias asked, becoming concerned for him yet didn't completely lower her guard.

"I... I didn't even activate Over Booster!" Issei said, then looked at his left arm. "Ddraig?"

[It wasn't me either. But somehow... you just obtained enough power to hold your Balance Break for over an hour.] Ddraig said.

"An hour?!" Issei repeated out of shock, all 3 of them surprised at this. Issei could hold the transformation for a few minutes at best, so how could his body magically maintain this form all of a sudden for such a long time?

It then hit him. Looking back at the orb, which was hovering over the water up ahead, he took a few steps towards it, going slowly.

"Issei?..." Rias asked, watching him.

His gaze did not leave the orb, even as ripples began to randomly happen in parts of the pool at Issei and the orb had a staring contest. He ended up gently stepping into the pool, where it was then the orb slowly moved towards the right. This is where Issei was able to see a fountain was overflowing with water, but on both sides of it where stairs that lead down a corridor, where the orb floated towards before finally stopping again. Rias also flew up next to him by that point, seeing the orb hover in front of the temples true entrance...

...

...

Somehow... he knew what it wanted... to be followed.

Issei gently grabbed Rias by her waist with one arm. She was surprised at this, not knowing what he was up too. She looked up at him, but was unable to read his expression due to the dragon helmet covering his face. All she had to go by were the green eyes. But in those eyes: were intense determination.

"... We're going for a Temple Run."

"Iss-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEI!"

(AN: Optional music - Sonic Adventure, Lost World 2 theme.)

Knowing Rias could not keep up with his speed in his Balance Breaker form, Issei scooped Rias up and took flight. The very second he did this, the orb of light darted down the corridor, going deeper into the ruins. The light ball was pretty fast even by the standards of Issei's Balance Breaker, which was shown to match Sonic's speed in their final battle with Riser. The hallways they went down twisted, turned, and even shot up a few times; akin to how a snake would move across terrain... why were the ruins built like this? Unless the original denizens were snake-like creatures themselves; Issei, Rias and Ddraig would probably never know.

"What are you... what do you want...?" Issei asked himself about the orb as he chased it down. Hopefully the answers would be revealed if he could keep up with this thing.

They first ended up in a larger tunnel, but this one had pillars shooting out from all directions, and the room actually spun in different directions as well; not like the optical illusion with lights or water you'd see in amusement attractions, they actually did move around, which made it slightly disorienting. Some pillars were even set ablaze. That wouldn't damage them too badly, it's the impact of going at such a fast speed into them would be the main issue.

Thankfully because they were flying, all Issei had to do was keep going in a straight line to avoid crashing, so this trap wasn't too hard to deal with. And at the end was another corridor of the same type they were in right when they started the chase, but it was disconnected front the trap itself, making a bottomless pit on the sides should a unwary traveler roll off too far to the sides.

Rias had half a mind to just teleport them out of here, but she was just as intrigued about this place as Issei apparently was. Its internal structure and design was unlike anything she had seen before, and did have the urge to want to learn more.

After continuing down the secondary snake-like hallway, they ended up in a room with a large snake head like the one at the entrance, only this was was at least twice the size. A bridge of lights showed there was a path towards it, and it was shown why this was because when the light ball stopped before it, the mouth of the snake opened upwards, revealing another room.

This room was filled up with water with only a few lights from the roof beaming down, and a large wooden snake was "swimming" in the pool. Some platforms were even floating without anything holding them up, and some one of them had 4 snake heads surrounding a square panel... some kind of magic perhaps? The orb of light just flew upwards and through a door at the very top, which did not open like the others did.

"Uh... open says me maybe?" Issei asked, but the door nor the light ball responded. Now he could very easily break it down with his Balance Breaker active, but he wasn't one to disturb the dead or disrespect their temple.

Rias: Issei...

Issei: Oh, right... "Sesame!"

...

...

...

Still nothing.

Rias sighed. "Let's try this." She began to trigger her magic for a teleportation circle they could step on... but much to her surprise, the magic itself began to flicker and dispel itself. She attempted it again with the same result.

[I've been sensing an odd energy in these ruins the moment Issei fell in. Perhaps their having a small effect on your magic, the same way they seem to affect the ruins themselves.] Ddraig said.

Seeing as apparently they could not just magic their way out of this, Rias took a look around her current surroundings. It then she noticed something. "... Look. Up." She pointed above the actual door, which had 3 squares on it and with 3 different colors.

"Okay, cool. What am I looking at?" Issei asked, not getting it at first. Rias didn't at first either, but the more she thought about it, those same 3 colors matched the same 3 panels those snake heads were placed around... she was down with solving a puzzle or 2.

Testing her theory, she sprouted her wings and flew over to the nearest platform that had one of those colored panels. This one was red. She pressed one foot on it, it was pressed down, and with a humming sound, one of the matching squares above the door lit up... hopefully that was their ticket out of here.

"Find 2 more like this. Maybe that's our way out." Rias said. Aside from being nearly impaled by spikes a few times, It was pretty easy. And out of curiosity, Issei pressed one of the oddly placed large switches, which all it did was raise the water level... he turned it off, seeing its function was pretty useless.

Issei and Rias eventually got the other 2 panels, being green and blue, and that's when the rumbling of the door was heard when the corresponding lights were all lit. When both Devils flew back up to the now open door, the ball of light was shown waiting for them.

Allowing Issei to hold onto her again, they chased it again, the ball immediately darting away the very second they moved towards the opened exit door. They ended up on a long balcony of some sort, built into the cliffside which overlooked more temples down into the forest. Other villages or the same kingdom? Hard to tell. What they could tell was the orb flew into a set of doors that automatically opened not from her, but they reacted the moment they got closer. More of the energy Ddarig mentioned? Regardless, they all has visual confirmation that the ball of light was leading them even deeper into the ruins.

The better question was, how far down did they go?

The next room beyond these doors was a very dark room with mirrors, but since Devils were able to see perfectly in the dark anyway, this was hardly an issue. Aside from fiery darts shooting at them a few times, it wasn't too crazy. What was crazy was following the orb down a waterslide, which they splashed through a waterfall to another pool a few seconds after the orb did (which Issei forced himself to ignore Rias in wet clothes that he could see her swimsuit underneath now thanks flying through said waterfall, shaking his head as those thoughts did start to surface).

They followed the orb down a path with another door at the end which it flew through, and the door opening when Issei and Rias got close, leading to a sloped path going straight down. The ball of light must have gone on ahead, since this door also opened up slowly, so they started flying downwards following the path...

rumble...

Both Issei and Rias flinched... praying that's not what they thought it was... when they slowly looked back, a giant boulder that was also somehow covered in flames began to slowly roll off the roof from a spot it was resting on. Seeing as their were no trip wires or anything they could have possibly triggered, they only assumed it was magic.

Both screaming like girls, they bolted as fast as their methods of flight could carry them. Issei tapped further into the thrusters of his armor, and even Rias was forced to use her improvised Boost mechanic just to outpace the rolling rock behind them. Even worse, the door all the way at the end/bottom was closing!

They BARELY made the squeeze... Rias' long hair and Issei's dragon tail nearly getting caught in the door just as it closed. Both Devils at that point HAD to rest on their legs and knees for a breather, both breathing in and out to get as much oxygen back as possible.

"... fuck... didn't even... find the idol yet..." Issei said between breaths. When they both recovered enough stamina, they noticed then heard the orb above and ahead of them. Watching them. "You trying to kill us?!" Issei yelled at it, but it just darted off when the door at the end of this hallway opened. Growling and losing his patience, Issei flew after it, with enough speed to make Rias' hair blow from the strong breeze he generated.

"Issei! Wait up!" Rias said, flying after him. He was forced to stop in a room with a single structure in the center and wait when yet another door had to slowly open itself is what helped Rias catch up. They entered a large room with wall panels that seemed randomly placed, though the ball of light was nowhere to be found this time.

"Oh, come on! Where are you?!" Issei said, having about enough. He then flew over every inch of this room, but couldn't find the light ball anywhere. He did trigger a few traps in his aggravated rush, which were more flaming arrows, spikes and sprouting pillars of fire; though none of them hit him.

Rias looked carefully around the room... was there another puzzle here? Those overly large wall panels jumped out at her immediately, them seemingly out of place and again, placed randomly it seemed unlike most of the other architecture. They reminded her of those same wall panels from the beginning of this maze, and she did notice some more of those large switches. Like Issei did back then, she stepped on the switch herself...

rumble, rumble, rumble...

The wall panels DID in fact light up, but only a small section of them towards the top. Even more, each and every one of the panels around this room moved and upon making contact with each other is when they lit up and had a glowing triangle on their centers. Humorously, Issei happened to be near the exact section that lit up; and with a yelp, he flew into it... more like it "pulled" him into it.

"Ugh, what the...?" He asked lowly, and then noticed he was attached to the wall, yet he got off easily enough.

[It appears those stones on the walls have some kind of gravitational magic or force stored in them. And when they light up, the magnetic force gets stronger.] Ddraig deduced.

Rias got an idea upon seeing this: if this room was chalk full of these wall panels, and they had a specific function; then maybe similar to the first major puzzle, getting them all lit up at once would reveal the way forward. Of course, as they all moved at the exact same time, maybe if they can find the right combination of switches, it should get every single panel to connect together and allow them to exit.

They first had to figure out how many switches were in this room and exactly what section (or sections) of panels each one moved. Once they map that out, the rest should be cake by process of elimination to figure out the correct order. It might take some trial and error, but it was their only option right now...

What made this a little difficult was again, that magical gravitational force. Some of the later switches were very close to the panels themselves, so when they were activated, the Devils were pulled into them if they got or stayed too close, not to mention some of these had spikes (allot as they neared the top) nearby. Wasn't too hard to escape or evade, just time consuming.

What happened was towards the top as they were trying to figure out the supposed combination, they saw 2 alternate paths consisting of one being a room with water in it for some reason, and another was a large box near a path that had an opening in it... both of which were kinda weird. They silently decided Issei would go into the water-filled room while Rias would go down into the box. The only thing interesting on Issei's end was the hole in the middle of the room, but it lead all the way down to the start of this room above the odd structure.

"Oh, God dam- AAAAAAH!" Issei almost cursed, with the mention of God giving him a splitting head pain.

Rias on the other hand flew into the box, which lead to a section of this room that had a switch surrounded by spikes, but this one was smaller and had a star shape. Though oddly at the other side directly across was a door she didn't notice before... that was even stranger. Without much to lose, she easy landed on this switch. This switch appeared to be the master code in a way, because that's when all the wall panels joined together to make a clear path all the way around the room, and that door directly across from her opened. And of course, as it slowly did, the orb of light was shown awaiting beyond it.

Oddly enough, no bridge or anything else opened or extended to that side of the room. It's almost like the ancient inhabitants of this temple didn't need to use bridges... as if they could fly across the room or climb to certain spots by themselves or something.

Around this point is when Issei returned to the room and hear the door open, so when he flew up to see it, he also happened to be close to Rias' position of her standing across from said door. Already predicting the orb was gonna rush off, Rias allowed herself to be carried, however THAT is when the orb decided to rush away instead of waiting for them to move, and they engaged pursuit again... this whole thing better be worth it.

(AN: End music.)

After following a path of an upside down loop-de-loop (which Rias and Issei flew over), the orb finally stopped in front of a door this time instead of phasing through it like a ghost as it did with every other door. As the game of tag was apparently over, Issei pulled back and landed on his feet.

The door slowly opened, revealing another room with again more water that was on each side of a path that lead to a large painting in the back, as well as torches for light. The ball of light slowly floated towards them again before glowing, those same lights coming out of Issei's Gears gem before the entire Balance Beaker powered down.

"Awww... I was enjoying that..." Issei looked really disappointed at this, but it wasn't his power to begin with. It only made sense this Pixie would come to take it back sooner or later. Speaking of, the first orb then begin to float backwards slowly towards the painting in the back, as if it was gesturing the way while "walking" towards it like a tour guide.

(AN: Optional music: The Past OST - Sonic Adventure.)

Both Issei and Rias followed behind it, taking the sight of this room in. Clearly allot of work went into it, and the massive painting in the back was further proof. As for what it was, it appeared to be the head of a dragon roaring at something, which was a bit odd since this place had more of a snake aesthetic... unless the dragon itself was serpentine like a snake, but with only its head drawn, this was unknown to them. Also unbeknownst to them, more random ripples in the water were set off as they approached.

"... ... Damn..." was all Issei could say about the mural in the back. It really gave off an unsettling vibe... impressive sure, with the clear attention to detail, but unsettling. Like the artist(s) who made this had the image of this thing etched in their brain down to the smallest detail.

"Was this it? Is this what you wanted?" Rias felt the need to ask the ball of light, not that she felt this was a waste of time but rather she was intrigued. She wanted to know more, especially since this mural pictured a dragon of some sort. Seeing the fact her Pawn was a dragon to an extent, not to mention their were myths about a dragon that size but it can wander dimensions freely AND this ball was able to extent the duration of Issei's dragonic Balance Breaker, it made her feel there was something important to all this... a connection somewhere, but she wasn't seeing it currently.

The orb didn't verbally respond, but it flew up closer towards the mural, where it shined a bit brighter upon getting towards the center of it. That's when the 2 walls next to this mural began to react as well, with them glowing and shapes beginning to take form on these walls. What was shown on both walls in addition to the dragon in the middle shocked Rias and Issei to their cores, their eyes wide and mouths open.

On both walls towards the bottom, what appeared to be people with dreadlocks and spiked hands were shown facing this creature, clearly depicting them trying to protect their home or something of similar nature. While that was cool and freaky enough, it was what was shown on the top of the walls is what completely took Rias and Issei by surprise:

More humanoid characters were above the "humans", having wings that allowed them to fly, but it's the shape of the wings is what took Rias and Issei back; with one groups wings being depicted as black and bat-like, and the others being depicted as dark and feathery. Not only that, the characters with feathery wings held what appeared to be spears in their hands with a few shown to be throwing them, and the ones with bat-like wings were shown with circles over their hands. In fact, some of these beings were clearly attacking each other, and didn't appear to be interested in the dragon at all unlike the others.

"... Fallen... Angels?..." Issei's voice said while the camera was more focused on the group with feathery wings.

"And... Devils?..." Rias' voice asked while the camera focused on the group with bat-like wings.

Both Devils had so many questions popping into their heads. Where those really actual Devils and Fallen Angels? How long ago was mural made and why were 2 sections of it blocked off by seemingly magic? Who or what was that dragon? Who were those "humans" at the bottom?... as a matter of fact, they looked similar to one person Sonic had a picture of when he tried to prove he was from another world, but both of them were too overwhelmed by this revelation about possibly Devils and Fallen Angels being somehow involved in what appears to be an all out brawl.

Before they could even ask why or what this was all supposed to mean, both Rias' and Issei's vision slowly turned white...

(AN: End music.)

"... ias...? Issei...?" A voice called out to both Rias and Issei, though the visions of both Issei and Rias were slowly reopening of their eyes... wait. Was that whole thing just a dream? They both arose from the blanket they were apparently sleeping on, which they were side-by-side on and nearly hugging.

"Had a nice nap?" Sonic joked.

XXX

Color Sonic surprised when only a minute after they awoke, Rias used her magic to bury Issei in the sand by making a large hole for him to sit in, then lifting him up roughly with that same magic to force him to sit down in it. When this was done, she used a binding type of magic in the form of magic circles on his limbs so he couldn't escape, and summoned a watermelon next to him. She also didn't look too happy for whatever reason. Issei had an idea of why she did this, but it was only an accident!

"Prez... can we talk about this?" Issei nervously requested as Rias was standing above him, looking down at him with an expression that basically said 'your finished'. Everyone else just watched this play out, not wanting to get involved.

She continued to look down at him before finally walking away. "Who's up first?" She asked as she left the pov of Issei.

"Prez! Come on! It was an accident!" Issei tried apologizing, but Rias would hear none of it. This is where Koneko, now armed with a bat, slowly approached him while dragging the bat through the sand. "Uh... say, Koneko? Isn't it customary to stand over the watermelon in a blindfold?" He asked nervously.

Koneko just wordlessly and slowly lifted the bat over her head...

"At least close your eyes!" He added with tears in his eyes, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.

CLICK!

Right before Issei could have been smashed as Koneko swung the bat down, a large PAUSE symbol paused the entire scene from a gloved hand holding a remote. Sonic was then shown walking into the scene even though it was paused.

"Remember kids. There's nothing more cool than being hugged by someone you like. But if someone tries to touch you in a place or a way that makes you feel uncomfortable," Sonic said, then he folded his arms and shook his head from side to side upon adding: "That's no good."

He then pointed his remote towards you...

CLICK! BUZZT!

Your screen then went statically for a second before going black.

And that's the official end to the first season of Sonic DxD's epilogue, and I got it out before 2024. From all 3 of these pages, you can see there's still more exciting stuff in the near future. So in case no one voiced they're opinions yet, what did you all think of these 3 epilogue pages? And in case some of you are confused, yes that was Lost World (SA1), but with some cut content from the actual game added to it. I also made parts of that stage a bit more "fresher", give it that feeling of being old, but not as old as when we the players ran around in it during SA1.

There is a reason I've had Asia, Issei and Rias all experience the past in Sonic's world; you'll just have to wait till season 2 to find out why. Also, if anyone can correctly guess what power up the orb temporarily gave Issei, I'll give you a cookie.

See you all sometime next year! 👍
